Wait so the guy that's been following me is the creator of Bandit? That's really neat, hello! I was considering drawing him with one of my own Elsen OCs recently, but I don't wanna mess up his character, could you please give me a quick rundown so that I don't completely obliterate his personality on accident? Thank you :]

Oop! Common misconception, but I am not the creator of Bandit. His creator pulled back from public social media and sold Bandit's (and Louis's) rights to me. You can find a longer explanation about that here! So I didn't make him, but I do have rights to his character and story ^^

I'd love to see him drawn with other elsens, and I love sharing info, so here's a little about him! Bandit boiled down to his basics is a cheeky bastard. He's loud and charismatic, but always seems to be able to sneak under the radar when he wants to. His favorite thing is stealing, only rivaled by selling those stolen things back at unbelievably high prices. There's a little more info I shared on this post, so I won't mention that stuff again for the sake of brevity. Hope this helps!

been thinking about setting goals and taking action on the things you can control and made the realisation that, in terms of creating stuff, you don't actually have much control over how the stuff you create turns out, only what you do during the process

i think i get myself art blocked so frequently because sometimes wanting to improve sounds like someone in my head telling me 'your anatomy needs to improve so you need to Learn Anatomy' which is extremely frustrating because it feels like until i Learn Anatomy i am a failure. or someone in my head telling me 'you need to get better at completing pieces quicker so you need to finish this drawing in Two Hours' and when i don't i feel like I didn't do my best. but looking at it now wouldn't it be so much easier to tell ourselves 'i'm going to do figure drawing for twenty minutes everyday' or 'i'm going to limit how much time i spend on my sketch' and trusting that doing these things will help get us where we want??

AHSAJSJAHSADG THANK YOUU?? Batter is such a mystery to draw so aaaaa- I’m so happy!! :,> AND UHHHH- oh boi oh boi *scrambling among random papers of info and sketches* ahh,,, this might be a bit of a long post-

I mostly have old stuff like this- (to have an idea on how he fully looks without a threatening shadow cast over him sdsghds)

BUT-! I’m working on redoing it.

Info wise- I think I got a few things! (mostly transcripted from when I showed him on twitter- others added on the spot because i’m in the zONE;;). First of all- some headcanons that explain a few things that will come: -All Elsen, being so numerous, start off with a number as their name. They got to earn a name for themselves in some sort of way (ex. the ones who named the stations in zone 1) or simply have nicknames among each others.  -Elsen can travel between zones, but only via either a “promotion”/”demotion” or with their Zone Guardian permission. -Elsen can get infected by spectres and still live in rare occasions- but most of the time they either succumb to the stress and completely turn burnt or get overwhelmed by the spectres and get eaten/killed (or... they’re disposed of by their guardian for safety reasons,,). Now onto actual info: -E-1762, nicknamed Feather in Zone 2 because of the feather he always carries around to write, is a slightly taller elsen that used to work in Zone 1. -Used to work in the mines and farms until half of his head got damaged (some speculate it was caused by Dedan, others think it’s a spectre infection. He prefers to keep that information to himself.) His compromised sight and balance lead to problems with his performance, both in the mines and with the cows (can’t pick metal if you can’t properly see it). He was of no more use in that zone but instead of disposing of him (merciful much?) Dedan took the decision to move him to Zone 2, under Japhet’s care. So he just works at the library now. -He already read all the non-fake books in the library, so he started writing his own stories (an advice from a passing Zacharie, the one who also left him that feather to write). He isn’t great but he tries his best- they’re mostly daily happenings mixed with random fantasies. -He also took a liking for origami and paper crafts in general (a way to reuse the pages he gets wrong while writing). He always tries to show them to his co-workers but they’re always more worried about the countless paper cuts on his hands to notice his craft :,> (I think I even drew a little thing of this one ahah). -He is silent and prefers to stay in his own little world like most elsen- but he is also quite the curious one. If you have a story to tell he’ll surely listen and take note. -Paper isn’t always present at the library- so he started doodling on his own hands and wrists, to the dislike of Japhet (they’re worried the ink may cause a skin infection-.. and it’s also a dirty habit.). So he usually hides them from the Guardian with bandages. -Even if Dedan isn’t his guardian anymore, he still pays a visit to the library to check on Feather- not in a direct way of course, he’ll make up an excuse to go around his place. (He’s checking that his wound isn’t getting worse- making sure he made the right decision). and aaaa- that’s all I have I think :,,>

i read a DnD guidebook if that counts and not recently no. i used to play the violin in school. i’d like to say ferret or cat. usually i vent draw or stuff my face. i once almost got hit by a falling tree. i like pop or rlly sweetened tea, and usually hot drinks tbh. Honeydew is my lil gremlin boi, Cocoa is actually my first Elsen created and thus my precious child, and Julian is my beautiful thicc boy. and i’d say... my friends and family? it’s cheesy but eh ))

Honeydew: “Just one of those fake books, because I was bored and nope. No. Cat, maybe, since I’m always called one. Binge eat everything. That one time when a spectre almost got me while I was putting away books... I like hot tea. They’re cool, I guess, just not very self-confident in themself though. I’d say... my moms? And maybe Julian.”

Cocoa: “I don’t remember. The piano. Probably a bear. Sleep. Almost drowning with my family. Cold coffee. Strange sad person. And my siblings.”

Julian: “I’ve recently s-started reading a long love novel! Uhm, no, but I c-can sing. A d-dog, maybe? I tend to take out my feelings on a wall... I almost walked in on the Director mad once and I don’t want it to happen again. I like cold dr-drinks, a-any will do! I like them, they treat me nicely! And my mother, she’s so s-sweet and kind.”
