Double Distracted

I have been assigned the additional task of translating a training manual ( not part of my job profile at all) just because I happen to know the language. So here I am sitting in front of my laptop with the 30 pages long MS word document, staring at the screen and translating and typing away, trying to concentrate but your eyes keep wandering back to the side of the screen showing an auto saved version of Ellen and Portia Fanfic you haven't written a word of in a very long time. And now your mind wanders off to what you could do with the story, how the story would move forward. Trying to get out of the distraction, you look away from the screen, picking up your phone, hoping to see someone in the work group texting they don't need a translated version. But, wait, Portia posted on Instagram!
