I finally buckled down and did some research on non-acetone nail polish remover and bought the ella+mila soy based remover and my nails haven't felt this strong in almost a year!

I am so impressed, I'm never going back. It's a lot more expensive than acetone based remover (all of the oil based/non acetone ones are) but SO worth it!

Ooh why don’t you recommend the glossy topcoat from holo taco?

I just don't think the quality is very nice!! the regular glossy taco has a persistent habit of clumping, bubbling, and becoming stringy! the super glossy taco contains toluene, which, for me, the harm potentially being done isn't worth the quick-dry benefit of the formula. So they're both products I'd recommend skipping! I also think that holo taco is in a unique position, as a brand with a visible personality behind it, and while I think most of their formulas are really very good, people are more willing to sugarcoat their opinions on the less-good products, the way you'd soften negative opinions toward a Person rather than a Brand
