sad but overhyped by the fandom about how sad it is 😳

for real though like as a narrative beat yeah it’s brutal and horrible and hard to read but also like… it makes sense. imo it’s part of what builds towards prims death and the impact of that totally breaking katniss down. finnicks death is our first “futile wartime death” that is a character we’ve grown to know and love, not someone we just met a few chapters ago. we’re building up to the absolute meaninglessness of death in a war like this — first it’s nameless soldiers, then it’s other people on the star squad, then it’s finnick who we’ve known and loved for 2 books now, and THEN it’s her sister. like yes it’s sad that finnick dies but it’s prims death that is always going to be the real gut punch of mockingjay

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve watched pride and prejudice. It never fails to warm my heart whenever I see Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth interact. 

sigh~ Am I only the one who keeps wishing for my very own Mr. Darcy? (*cough cough Colin Firth?) he may be too old for me but who cares, he is such a gentleman and I keep swooning whenever I hear him talk.

ANYWAAAYSSSS,  I re-watched the movie again and I was inspired to draw Elizabeth Bennet.  I do wish to draw them all, but we’ll see. I still have so many things to learn about drawing and coloring, so it’s a very tedious road ahead but I shall prevail! *fingercrossed*

hi, just so you know, it would be really awesome if you could refrain from creating posts about russia invading ukraine bc that's not exactly whats happening? russia went into crimea (a heavily russian populated parliamentary republic) upon crimea's request as the majority of crimeans identify w/russia as their mother country. it's just you're passing around incorrect info regarding a really important topic so yeah (i mean this in the most polite way possible)
