BIO
Growing up, Elijah wanted for nothing. He wasn't spoilt but he got everything he could possibly want or need. His parents weren't as loving as they could have been and preferred to throw money at problems. Being an only child meant he was lonely which is how he ended up in the wrong crowd at the age of fifteen - they introduced him to alcohol and drugs and from there it was downhill for Elijah. His first relationship, when he was eighteen, was toxic and unhealthy and with a guy six years older than him. It lasted two years and when he overdosed for the first time, his parents finally intervened and tried to help however they failed to and that's when he got sent to America at the age of twenty-one to go and live with his Uncle.  He met the man who would claim him only a few short months after living in America and it was him who pushed him to go to rehab when he was twenty-two. He grew dependent on his claim but they last eight long years and Elijah kept himself together, he got off of the drugs and he became a Chef which he adored doing. He picked up hobbies and made friends and his life was good until he claim cheated on him and he relapsed. Having to find himself again had proven very difficult for him and he had to fight his way back to being sober and single, only himself to rely on. Despite his troubles in life, Elijah was always someone who had the time of day for people. He may not have been his best self most of the time but that didn't mean he didn't care about people - it was himself he struggled to care about.
BIO QUESTIONS:
Describe your occupational journey and how you got to where you are.  - My ex claim owned a restaurant and I had always had a love of cooking so when I finally got sober, he gave me a chance in his restaurant and my career started there. I moved up and got better and better which his help and support. After a couple of years, I landed a job as a head chef in a fancy ass restaurant and then my career took a little change, I became a personal chef for wealthy clients.
How would you describe yourself as a Dominant/submissive? - I think there is always something for me to learn. When I got the mark as a switch, I thought it was brilliant as I could learn both sides and get a better understanding of both. It lead me to realise that I am in fact more submissive than Dominant and I take great pride in that. I don't always feel like a good submissive, but I do my best to try and be good.
How do you feel about authority? - It depends, really. I don't mind authority usually but if someone is a complete and utter asshole with it, it makes it hard for me to listen to them and/or want to show them respect. Despite my mark, I don't think I should be treated any less.

Tuskegee Airman Captain Wendell Oliver Pruitt (June 20, 1920 - April 1945) a pioneering pilot of the 15th Air Force, was born to Elijah and Melanie Pruitt. He graduated from Sumner High School, attended Stowe Teachers College, and transferred to Lincoln University Missouri. Lincoln University was one of the three Negro colleges that conducted civil pilot training and is the institution that laid the foundation for his short-lived career.
He obtained his private pilot license from Jefferson City Airport. He graduated from Lincoln and was accepted into the Army Air Corps Flying School at Tuskegee. Upon completion of pre-flight training and gunnery school as well as primary, basic, and advanced flying, he was commissioned second lieutenant in December 1942. He was assigned to the 302nd squadron, which was designated as the 332nd Fighter Group. He teamed up with Lt. Col. Lee A. Archer Jr., a member of the Tuskegee Airmen who piloted aircraft during WWII, to form the “Gruesome Twosome” in the 332nd Fighter Group.
He flew 70 combat missions overseas. He is credited with permanently disabling a German destroyer, shooting down three enemy planes in the air, and destroying several others on the ground. His air victories earned him the rank of captain as well as several awards and honors, including the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with six Oak Leaf Clusters. St. Louis proclaimed December 12, 1944, as Captain Wendell O. Pruitt Day. He and a student were killed in a plane crash while in training.
The city of St. Louis named the federally subsidized, high-rise Pruitt-Igoe Housing Project after him. Pruitt-Igoe was originally segregated with the Wendell O. Pruitt apartments reserved for African American residents, and the William L. Igoe apartments reserved for white residents. In 1984, the Pruitt Military Academy was established in St. Louis. American Veteran posts in Michigan and Missouri honor his name today. #africanhistory365 #africanexcellence

LETTERS FROM AN AMERICAN
So, two years ago, I wrote: By the time most of you will read this it will be March 15, which is too important a day to ignore. As the man who taught me to use a chainsaw said, it is immortalized by Shakespeare’s famous warning: “Cedar! Beware the adze of March!” He put it that way because the importance of March 15 is, of course, that it is the day in 1820 that Maine, the Pine Tree State, joined the Union. Maine statehood had national repercussions. The inhabitants of this northern part of Massachusetts had asked for statehood in 1819, but their petition was stopped dead by southerners who refused to permit a free state—one that did not permit enslavement—to enter the Union without a corresponding “slave state.” The explosive growth of the northern states had already given free states control of the House of Representatives, but the South held its own in the Senate, where each state got two votes. The admission of Maine would give the North the advantage, and southerners insisted that Maine’s admission be balanced with the admission of a southern slave state lest those opposed to slavery use their power in the federal government to restrict enslavement in the South. They demanded the admission of Missouri to counteract Maine’s two “free” Senate votes. But this “Missouri Compromise” infuriated northerners, especially those who lived in Maine. They swamped Congress with petitions against admitting Missouri as a slave state, resenting that enslavers in the Senate could hold the state of Maine hostage until they got their way. Tempers rose high enough that Thomas Jefferson wrote to Massachusetts—and later Maine—Senator John Holmes that he had for a long time been content with the direction of the country, but that the Missouri question “like a fire bell in the night, awakened and filled me with terror. I considered it at once as the knell of the Union. It is hushed indeed for the moment, but this is a reprieve only, not a final sentence.” Congress passed the Missouri Compromise, but Jefferson was right to see it as nothing more than a reprieve. The petition drive that had begun as an effort to keep the admission of Maine from being tied to the admission of Missouri continued as a movement to get Congress to whittle away at enslavement where it could—by, for example, outlawing the sale of enslaved Americans in the nation’s capital—and would become a key point of friction between the North and the South. There was also another powerful way in which the conditions of the state’s entry into the Union would affect American history. Mainers were angry that their statehood had been tied to the demands of far distant enslavers, and that anger worked its way into the state’s popular culture. The opening of the Erie Canal in 1825 meant that Maine men, who grew up steeped in that anger, could spread west. And so they did. In 1837, Elijah P. Lovejoy, who had moved to Alton, Illinois, from Albion, Maine, to begin a newspaper dedicated to the abolition of human enslavement, was murdered by a pro-slavery mob, who threw his printing press into the Mississippi River. Elijah Lovejoy’s younger brother, Owen, had also moved west from Maine. Owen saw Elijah shot and swore his allegiance to the cause of abolition. “I shall never forsake the cause that has been sprinkled with my brother’s blood,” he declared. He turned to politics, and in 1854 he was elected to the Illinois state legislature. His increasing prominence brought him political friends, including an up-and-coming lawyer who had arrived in Illinois from Kentucky by way of Indiana, Abraham Lincoln. Lovejoy and Lincoln were also friends with another Maine man gone to Illinois. Elihu Washburne had been born in Livermore, Maine, in 1816, when Maine was still part of Massachusetts. He was one of seven brothers, and one by one, his brothers had all left home, most of them to move west. Israel Washburn, Jr., the oldest, stayed in Maine, but Cadwallader moved to Wisconsin, and William Drew would follow, going to Minnesota. (Elihu was the only brother who spelled his last name with an e). Israel and Elihu were both serving in Congress in 1854 when Congress passed the Kansas-Nebraska Act overturning the Missouri Compromise and permitting the spread of slavery to the West. Furious, Israel called a meeting of 30 congressmen in May to figure out how they could come together to stand against the Slave Power that had commandeered the government to spread the South’s system of human enslavement. They met in the rooms of Representative Edward Dickinson, of Massachusetts—whose talented daughter Emily was already writing poems—and while they came to the meeting from all different political parties, they left with one sole principle: to stop the Slave Power that was turning the government into an oligarchy. The men scattered for the summer back to their homes across the North, sharing their conviction that a new party must rise to stand against the Slave Power. In the fall, those calling themselves “anti-Nebraska” candidates were sweeping into office—Cadwallader Washburn would be elected from Wisconsin in 1854 and Owen Lovejoy from Illinois in 1856—and they would, indeed, create a new political party: the Republicans. The new party took deep root in Maine, flipping the state from Democratic to Republican in 1856, the first time it fielded a presidential candidate. In 1859, Abraham Lincoln would articulate an ideology for the party, defining it as the party of ordinary Americans standing together against the oligarchs of slavery, and when he ran for president in 1860, he knew it was imperative that he get the momentum of Maine men on his side. In those days Maine voted for state and local offices in September, rather than November, so a party’s win in Maine could start a wave. “As Maine goes, so goes the nation,” the saying went. So Lincoln turned to Hannibal Hamlin, who represented Maine in the Senate (and whose father had built the house in which the Washburns grew up). Lincoln won 62% of the vote in Maine in 1860, taking all 8 of the state’s electoral votes, and went on to win the election. When he arrived in Washington quietly in late February to take office the following March, Elihu Washburne was at the railroad station to greet him. I was not a great student in college. I liked learning, but not on someone else’s timetable. It was this story that woke me up and made me a scholar. I found it fascinating that a group of ordinary people from country towns who shared a fear that they were losing their democracy could figure out how to work together to reclaim it. Happy Birthday, Maine.

Hamilton Review!!!
so i just saw hamilton in boston and thought id give a review!
first off, i really enjoyed it!!! the cast was AMAZING (i wanna say better than the original but i feel i’ll make someone mad, so i’ll keep that to myself). there was tons of potential and it was met!!! beyond expectations!!! i cant just lump everyone together so i wanna give reviews on each character
before i start that i just wanna say THE CAST WAS SO ATTRACTIVE? LIKE I USUALLY DONT NOTICE STUFF LIKE THAT BUT EVEN MY GRANDMA WAS LIKE “i feel like this cast was so much better looking than the original, especially aaron burr” AND. I HAVE TO AGREE WITH HER. but moving on…
Hamilton: Pierre Jean Gonzalez
yes. i loved him. at first i wasn’t a HUGE fan bc he was different compared to lin, BUT THEN IT GOT PROMISING. he was HANDSOME AS HELL and he had a strong voice. it was very husky which i wasn’t a huge fan of, but then again, it got promising as the show went on.
Eliza: Nikisha Williams
she was beautiful, she had a very easy voice to listen to… but i WILL say that it didn’t carry the emotion and control i wish it did. her voice was relatively… flat (i’m sorry i feel so bad) and her voice was almost too strong on some occasions. but i really liked her. i do wish that toward the end she could’ve been more heart-shattering, but maybe i’m just used to phillipa being an ICON in act two.
Burr: Jared Dixon
OH. MY. FUCKING. GOD. first, HANDSOME. LIKE REALLY HANDSOME. AND TALL?! but honestly, i fucking loved this guy. his voice was relatively more higher compared to leslie, but it wasn’t annoying like i’d thought it would be. he was AMAZING at vocal control, but he didn’t have to strongest voice (not a negative thing tbh). he had a very soft voice and loud one when needed and i loved it. especially in “the room where it happens”. he wasn’t as energetic as leslie but near the end (apparently, i didn’t notice) he and the ensemble did choreo related to magic mike? but anyway I LOVED HIM.
Angelica: Ta’rea Campbell
i love this girl. just as a person. but as angelica… i wasn’t completely thrown away or swept off my feet. she has a nice strong voice and is a great actor, but it wasn’t tremendous (GOD I FEEL LIKE A BITCH)
Washington: Marcus Choi
i. was. fucking. blown. away. this guy was amazing. and again, HANDSOME AS HELL. GOD I WAS MELTING IN MY SEAT. he was just stunning. and his skills did not disappoint. no matter what, whether singing solo or in a group, you can hear this man. his voice just stands out. his acting was relatively great, but i wasn’t focusing on that tbh. but i truly loved him as washington. my grandma thought it was hilarious that they casted an asian man as washington. (i mean the majority, if not ALL of the cast were pocs)
Lafayette/Jefferson: Jared Howelton
don’t get me fucking started. my favorite fucking character regardless of who plays it, but this guy made it all the better. i needed to take a breather at intermission bc of how excited i was getting to see him as jefferson. he was just so ICONIC as lafayette. he was definitely meant to be the comedic relief, and it was amazing to compare his to daveed’s portrayal. he was more funny, and like even the way he walked (as jefferson he had this “i’m great and everyone loves me and i’m swagger” walk going on. i fucking adored it.) and talked was on point and HILARIOUS. he had a very deep and tantalizing voice (is that the right word?) and he was also very handsome. do i prefer his over the original? maaaybe. they were both iconic in their own ways. so i’m not sure. but like I LOVE THIS GUY.
Mulligan/Madison: Desmond Sean Ellington
didn’t really stand out. i honestly don’t think he was as iconic as the original portrayal. but he was relatively great.
Laurens/Philip: Elijah Malcomb
he was SO DIFFERENT compared to anthony’s portrayal. it’s so hard to put it into words. more energy, but less homoeroticism (unfortunately). his voice was naturally really high so when he came in as philip i was like “??? is there a child onstage?” but i think he added to the effect on purpose. his death was HEARTBREAKING. i loved him tho.
Peggy/Maria: Jen Sese
now this is gonna sound bitchy, but i was not impressed. maybe jasmine was just so iconic that she outshines everyone, but i’m not sure. it’s not like i didn’t like her, she’s just fine, but her portrayal was just kinda… boring. she just lacked something (zazz? idk man). her portrayal as maria lacked the confidence and sexual tension. her vocals were okay, same with the acting. (please don’t take this personally 😭)
King George: Neil Haskell
i loved him. like a lot. compared to jon, his king was more… energetic and… god it’s hard to find words. but jon’s king was very poised and on point and stiff, but neil’s king wasn’t. (i’m not hating on either, i loved both portrayal sm) but this king was also a lot funnier and the way he moved and carried himself was great. but he sounded congested??? the entire show??? like idk he just sounded funky but it made it funnier. his accent was kinda horrible but it was great. and the way he said “jOHN aDAMS” was great. amazing king
Charles Lee: Tristan Hill
i wasn’t gonna include this character but i just wanted to say, he was probably the most attractive person in the cast. and his voice matched. sorry for being a bastard, i’ll go now.
Ensemble
I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW MUCH I LOVE THE CHOREO IN THIS. obvi it wasn’t the exact same IT WAS EVEN BETTer. like everyone was just perfect and on point. and everyone was hot as hell. and muscly. really amazing honestly.
just wanted to say i loved this show a lot. the stage looked really good and they did a lot more with lights and i love it. very pleasing to watch. also, THERE WERE ASL INTERPRETERS THERE. IT WAS SO AMAZING. I WAS SO HAPPY THEY DID THAT (i don’t need an interpreter in any way, but i just loved them being there) it was very fun to see how they interpreted the show. and there were only FOUR OF THEM? and they did great??? very often during the show i would compare there acting to the actors on stage. it was great
sorry this is so long, but i just needed to do this.

No need to prepare your Draft, whether you're a beginner or experienced player, just use this list and you'll be set. In Standard Scoring Leagues you don't get points for receptions, so you will have to prioritize touchdown-heavy players. In this format, running backs are going to be a priority, so they have a slight edge over wide receiver. However, a receiving running back is also important because you have double the chance to score. If your league allows it, I would start three RBs every week. These will get you the most touchdowns besides a quarterback. So, remember to do after those red zone threats. In the end, they will make the difference when it comes to Standard Scoring formats. NFL Week 1 Winner and Losers
By; BenJarmin Munguia
Date: September 10th, 2024
Tumblr media
Winner: Bears Defense and Special teams.
Yes, they are who we thought they were.
Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears were down 17-0 late in the first half. The offense could not get anything going until the last drive of the first half when Cario Santos kicked a 24-yard field goal to trail the Tennessee Titans 17-3.

The Bears could not score anything off the offense, but again, they are who we thought they were.
In the third quarter, the Bears' Jonathan Owens returned a blocked punt for a touchdown, pulling Chicago in 17-10. In the fourth quarter, after Santos made two more field goals, the Titans quarterback Will Levis was picked off by Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson, giving Chicago a 24-17 victory.
It reminds me of the 2006 NFL Season when the Bears played against the Arizona Cardinals. The Bears were down 20-3 at the half, and former Bears quarterback Rex Grossman threw 4 interceptions; the tides switched as the dominating Bears defense scored on a pick-six and a fumble return for a touchdown, and late in the 4th quarter, Hall-of-Fame kick returner Devin Hester return a punt 89 yards to the endzone, giving the Bears a comeback 23-24 victory over the Cardinals without scoring any offensive touchdowns.
Winner: Jerod Mayo
Trying to fill in the shoes of a future Hall-of-Fame coach is a tough job; doing that and playing against a Super Bowl contender on the road for your first game as a head coach is even more challenging.
The New England Patriots played the Cincinnati Bengals in Cincinnati. They pulled off a 16-10 upset win, giving Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo his first-ever victory as a head coach.

New England got away with winning with 3 field goals, and running back Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 120 yards on 25 carries, with the team's only touchdown holding Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow only to 164 passing yards. And forcing 2 fumbles.
Pretty Impressive.
Winner: Sam Darnold
If there is anything to say about Darnold's career, it might involve the word "bust" and not someone you want to have under center when your future franchise quarterback is out for the year.
However, Darnold was really different this time.
The Minnesota Vikings flew to East Rutherford to take on Daniel Jones and the New York Giants in what might seem like a sleep fest. However, Darnold put up some numbers, completing 19 of his 24 pass attempts for 208 yards and 2 touchdowns, giving Minnesota a whopping 28-6 victory over the Saquan Barkely-less Giants.

Darnold connected to star wide receiver Justin Jefferson 4 times for 59 yards and a touchdown.
I don't know if Darnold could lead the Vikings to even a wild card spot in the playoffs, especially since it's Week 1, but fans should be happy with what they saw at MetLife Stadium.
Winner: Baker Mayfield
It seems like any time the Buccaneers win, Mayfield laughs at the Browns, mainly since he was traded to the Panthers from the Browns in 2022.
On Sunday, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield destroyed the Washington Commanders' defense, and it wasn't even close. Mayfield completed 24 of his 30 passes for 289 yards and threw four touchdowns, and the Buccaneers annihilated the Commanders 37-20.
Mayfield had some help in the air, connecting to future Hall-of-Fame wide receiver Mike Evans. Hauling 5 catches for 61 yards and two touchdowns. These two are the only real threats to the gloomy NFC South division.

Winner: Any San Francisco 49ers Running Back.
The 49ers have had many running backs who have made it to the league over the years and become the perfect tool for their offense: Matt Brida, Elijah Mitchell, Christian McCaffery, Frank Gore, Roger Craig, and the list goes on and on.
But tonight really put a stamp on that notice,
Christian McCaffery was ruled out tonight with a calf injury, and backup running back Jordan Mason would make his first NFL start against the Gang Green New York Jets defense.

Jordan Mason absolutely fooled the Jets' defense.
At the end of the first half, Mason scored a touchdown and ran for 75 yards on 11 carries in the first half. Mason was a force to be wrecked with. It seems that the 49ers didn't have McCaffery in the injury Report.
Mason finished with 145 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown as the 49ers steamrolled the New York Jets 32-19.
Sometimes, you have to call them out like you mean it. Who were the biggest losers in Week 1
Loser: Ronnie Stanley
You won't win many games when you get flagged FOUR TIMES for illegal formation. The Baltimore Ravens were penalized 7 times for 64 yards during their heartbreaking 20-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Loser: DeShaun Watson
We finally get to see a healthy DeShaun Watson for the Cleveland Browns, and with that $230 million contract, let's see Watson making a name for himself in the books.
Watson was horrible on Sunday vs the Dallas Cowboys, throwing on 45 attempts for 169 yards, 2 interceptions, 1 touchdown, and 24 completions during their ugly 33-17 loss to the Cowboys. Watson did use his legs and rushed for 39 yards on 5 carries, so not all was at a loss.
Tumblr media
But you can't put all the blame on Watson. You also need an O-line that can protect your quarterback. Getting sacked six times might make you want to throw the ball away and get you thinking about next Week.
Loser: New York Jets Defense.
You are against a team whose star wide receiver has yet to play all preseason and off-season, and you are against a team without its star running back. Sure, there is no way you will allow 32 points tonight.
Tumblr media
Photo Credit: NBC Sports Bay Area
Nah, the Jets totally did that. The most significant mouth drop was when the 49ers' backup running back, Jordan Mason, trampled over the Jets for 145 yards on 28 carries and a touchdown against the Gang Green defense. 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy completed 19 of his 29 passes for 231 yards.
It's not the ideal start for the New York Jets.
Biggest Loser: New York Giants
It's safe to say that the New York Giants are the only team in NFL history to start 0-2 after Week 1. Obviously, the Giants got embarrassed by the Minnesota Vikings 28-6 on Sunday, but the most significant loss they took this Week was watching their former running back Saquan Barkley score 3 touchdowns for their division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles, as they routed the Green Bay Packers 29-34.
Tumblr media
Mind you, the Giants only put up 6 points this Week while Barkley raked up 3 touchdowns.
Letting Barkley go for a quarterback who has thrown 2 touchdowns since his contract extension was worth it.
This will be a long season for the Giants, and they are still sticking with Daniel Jones as their starter.
