Oh my goodness! You spoil me, Anon! 💖Thank you so much for this! 🥰 I don't think I've ever mentioned it on this blog before, but words cannot express how much I absolutely adore this ship!! I love what you said about it being a ship you love that always makes you laugh too. I think that's part of what's so wonderful about it. It is really in that perfect sweet spot of hilarious and adorable. On a certain level they both have such big personalities that are so wildly different from each other that it's almost goofy to think of them actually working out in relationship, but they compliment each other so perfectly and have such a strong foundation of trust and mutual respect which I honestly wasn't expecting at first but was wonderful and delightful and just look at them:

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! Without a doubt, Elfman x Evergreen is in my Top 3 favorite ships in Fairy Tail, and they're the perfect ship for my very first Fairy Tail ship headcanons so thank you so much for that, Anon! I'm positively giddy right now, but I haven't ever written about these two before so I can only hope I'll do them justice and that you'll like these headcanons. Thank you so, so much for the ask (and sorry for all the ramblings 😅)!

Elfever Headcanons

💚-- General

Evergreen is surprisingly cuddly. It's not something she would easily admit to, however, and though she tended to be fairly standoffish early on in her and Elfman's relationship, it didn't take long for Elfman to realize that one of her favorite things in the world was just curling up next to him on the couch after a long day. In light of this information, he really takes it upon himself to be more affectionate: holding hands, wrapping an arm around her, and running his hands through her hair ect. Unfortunately, it takes him a little while longer to realize that Evergreen really doesn't like PDA, but they soon reach a sweet spot where they are not that affectionate in public but are actually quite cuddly with each other when they're just spending time together just the two of them.

Bonus (On this Same Note): Elfman likes to play with Evergreen's hair. She appreciates the affection but often teases him for being a bad hairstylist. In response, he asked his sisters, Lisanna and Mirajane, to teach him how to braid hair and actually practiced very hard as a surprise for Evergreen. She found the gesture very thoughtful though she was a little bit salty that he could now manage more elaborate braids than she could. In the future, Elfman braids their daughters' hair as well which Evergreen finds incredibly sweet.

💕 -- As Parents

Elfman and Evergreen are both incredibly supportive of their children and love them fiercely. Neither of them are worriers, but they can both be a little protective in their own way. Though they tend to be involved parents (Evergreen especially), they do want their children to learn how to fight their own battles, so they try to fight that tendency to be a little overprotective (in Elfman's case, especially with his daughters) and to want to spoil the kids (in Evergreen's case). Still, if the need arose they wouldn't hesitate swoop in and do whatever it took to protect their family, and woe to the person who ever tried to mess with one their kids (not only would they have Elfman and Evergreen as Papa and Mama Bears to deal with but also their two badass aunts, Mira and Lisanna, on their dad's side of the family, and a hoard of chaotic Thunder Legion/Raijinshuu "uncles" on their mom's side. And something tells me that with parents like Elfman and Evergreen, those kids are probably forces to be reckoned with in their own rights too...)

💙-- Hurt/Comfort

Losing Lisanna was one of the darkest times in Elfman's life, and Evergreen was incredibly worried about him though she never really expressed her concerns beyond offering her condolences with the rest of the guild. She gave him space to grieve as she did not want to intrude or intervene in such a painful time in his life, and she did not think they were close enough for her to offer to be his shoulder or support even if she did worry about him much more than she let on. As fate would have it though, they ran into each other in the guild hall's pantry on what was a particularly difficult day for Elfman. He had been stocking shelves trying to keep his mind off things and regain a sense of normalcy, but his emotions were so raw from the grief and the guilt that when he accidentally dropped a jar of pickled vegetables, he actually started to cry.

Evergreen happened to walk in at this exact moment to get a jar of marmalade, and Elfman was incredibly embarrassed--frantically swiping at his eyes. She asked if he was okay, and he lied and tried to convince he was "fine" when he clearly wasn't. Evergreen didn't pry, but she did kneel down on the ground and quietly help him clean up the mess and sweep up the shards of glass. When they had finished cleaning she said, "It's okay if you're not fine" and reassured him that no one would blame him for being upset after everything he had just went through. Elfman's eyes grew misty again, and Evergreen hugged him. They sat together on the pantry floor until Elfman was ready to go back out into the guild hall.

Over the next several weeks they organized that pantry together. Not many words were exchanged between them, but Evergreen didn't want to leave him alone if he wanted company. It wasn't until years later--long after they had pursued a relationship with each other that Elfman was finally able to tell her just how much that had meant to him.

{ I know this is a little filler scene or at least I'm pretty sure that it is but I like how it was shown before that nobody, or at least none of those who have been shown trying before, was able to 'tame' Erza the 'dancing demon' and then it jumps to this screen later on-

not only showing Freed actually dancing with Erza leading her (I appreciate this pair up) but their posture also differs from the rest of the dancing pairs as Freed holds Erza by the waist and not by her hands, which I think is a nice little detail also }

erzajane headcanons…. i have Many….

-Erza suddenly just Remembers that she is ripped and can carry literally anything sometimes. And whenever she does she immediately picks mira up without warning. miras more of the Literal manhandler in the relationship (because that’s how you manage people when u have 2 younger siblings u literally had to raise) but erza is just like …. pick up wife……….. soican carry Her…….. 😊😊and mira is like WAAAH! she gets startled everytime.

-grey is their NUMBER ONE HATER. He gets forced to take pictures of them being gross together and every single time he is DISGUSTED! despite the show giving grey and erza unnecessary weird romantic tension that made no sense i think theyre super siblings & it’s really like watching your older sister be in love type of disgust. Cana was their number one hater when they tore up the guild in fights but now she’s like Awwwwww … Leave them be grey! theyre Cute!

-happy tried. So Hard to do the “she loooooves you” thing to them after they get together but theyre just like yes I do :3 and he gets really pissed off he can’t make either of them mad anymore after the YEARS of pining. and then he extra torments lucy

-any time erza and mira have a nice moment during their rival era natsu jumps in and is like AWWW! GROUP HUUUG! and ruins it

-lucy is sooooo jealous. imagine u have 2 GORGEOUS beautiful friends u lowkey want & they GET TOGETHER. she’s hyping them up but she wants to be both of them. she’s like that one picture “I'm Finna just join somebody else relationship..Bitch scoot over.. I love y'all..” She also spills all her relationship drama to mira (about natsu juvia cana whoEVER (she’s moronromantic)) and since erzas there too she’s like WHAT?! HUH? because her autistic ass had no idea about any of this. she’s like “Guys can i just join your relationship instead im so tired” and miras like Awww silly lucy 😊

-& as an extension of this mira starts spilling ALL. the tea. to erza. mira is the type to stir the pot unnecessarily because she’s bored (i.e her messing with lucy by saying grey and natsu like her) even when she’s absolutely positive something is just a false rumor. she’s been holding all that REAL shit in to herself and as soon as lisanna gets back she EXPLODES with gossip she’s collected to lisanna and erza whenever they get together. she’s a good secret keeper mostly but her sister and girlfriend Will Know. erza starts teasing people (subtly) much more as a result.

-elfever & erzajane in-law shenanigans. They stay over at each others places often all together (with lisanna too. freeloading on either of their couches) and cook dinner together…

-grief made mira give a fuck sooo much less. especially initially after someone would playfully make a jab and instead of dissing back she’d be like Oh you! but erza would get pissed off that she was passive and start fighting people for her. and then mira would just be like wow<3

-for most of their earlier days erza was almost always in a full suit of armor as a coping mechanism. despite really loving to dress up, she never really did it outside of her own room because she didn’t feel safe enough to, so that leads to mira seeing an ankle and being filled with lust like it’s the 1600s. over time she grows more comfortable and stuff but like. jus imagine u see ur crush out of a suit of armor for the first time and she is just absolutely RIPPED. cmon now. you’d die too

-if mira gets notes from secret admirers or letters from fans erza will proofread them. She is a living grammarly. she also just gets jealous

-through mira’s transformation magic she starts hiding her scars from battles when she starts modeling. erza doesn’t say anything about it but it pisses her off so bad because she thinks mira is gorgeous just the way she is. mira just tryin to make that bank now that she can’t work as a wizard 🔥 let her be

-they both dickride each other when they fight other people. especially in the grand magic games arc mira was picking everyone up and spinning them around and screaming BEAT THEIR ASS ERZA!!!!!! n meanwhile erza is just like Heh…. this was only 2% of her power… She could’ve PULVERIZED her…. like okaaay i see u!

If not, are there any rules or limits when it comes to chatting with you about the series? And what exactly does it mean when you say that you write from a "arospec/polyamorous/relationship anarchy perspective"? Whatever the case, I wish you nothing but the best for you and writing. I would say this blog is def focused on my writing and personal headcanons. it's not a request-based writing blog. that being said, I would love if someone wanted to leave an idea in my inbox or asked about specific characters (ex. "do you have any ultear headcanons?" or "what are your thought on x arc?")

just please don't expect me to always respond with a lot of writing or with any writing at all. if you ask me about racer from the oración seis guild, I... probably won't have anything for you

as far as chatting about the series, I guess just keep it respectful? there are parts of the series and certain relationships I dislike/ignore/like to play around with and change. and again, some aspects I either never thought about or they don't really give me a writing spark, so I might not be able to talk about them as much.

for your last question, this is something that maybe only I notice? in general, I don't really like to write traditional (allo) romances. I don't think about characters in terms of "x and y have a romantic relationship and everyone else in their lives is platonic." I think more in terms of "x has a unique, individual relationship with each character and multiple of those could be romantic/platonic/queer." I can write and think of romantic scenarios for characters, but even then, I always consider them aro/arospec* cuz it makes me happy :D

*the exception to this somehow is gajevy and elfever

Freed eating anything is basically canon (see Wendy's first job where he eats like 5 flying fish which are showcased as inedible multiple times before and possibly after that)

Why not have Laxus be the stress cleaner? As a fraxus shipper, I like the hc that Laxus lives with Freed and as a raijinshuu stan, I like the hc that they all live together. So that'd mean Laxus lives with the rest of them as well.

There's exactly one (1) officer of the Rune Knights who's ever managed to hold Freed longer than 2.3 seconds. They've since retired

*Bixlow is an incredibly picky eater, but Freed will eat just about anything.

*Evergreen stress shops, Freed stress cooks, and Bixlow stress eats. very efficient system. noone cleans. less efficient

*obviously freed takes rules EXTREMELY seriously, but only the ones he agrees with. he does not give a fuck about general laws, but he does care about ones imposed by a figure of authority he respects (not many)

*on that note, hes infamous with the rune knights because they literally cannot apprehend him. the second they blink, hes undone the jutsu shiki and is outta there. they’ve basically given up at this point

*freed has perfected the irish goodbye, and trained the thunder legion in it too. laxus however, is a hopeless case. he’ll just turn around and walk away mid conversation

*thunder legion? ideal blunt rotation. theyre yappin for hours. any weird ass question you think about? freed could probably answer it. evergreen’s your BESTIE who will back you up and die for you on any hill. bixlow becomes the single greatest comedian in a 50 mile radius

*freed and bixlow share an apartment together. evergreen technically has her room in fairy hills but that spare bedroom has enough of her stuff in to be considered hers

*bixlow uses he/it pronouns. he came into my house and told me

*evergreen is a trans woman and came out shortly after meeting freed and bix. one advantage to being such an outsider in the guild meant noone realised she’d transitioned. not many people know, only makarov, laxus & the thunder legion, and elfman. she wouldnt mind other people knowing but it never really came up and what does it matter really. shes still the prettiest

(when she came out to elfman she was extremely nervous about what he’d say (or that hed say something about it being manly) but he excitedly told her that it was “so womanly!”)

*they can all sing to some degree. evergreen still has the “teenaged girl showing off” voice and freed’s is like butter (seriously have you heard junichi suwabe sing? if i wasnt aro id be deeply in love with that man). bixlow, however, actively chooses to sound awful

I don't think I can explain how much I think Elfman adores kids. He just loves em with all his heart, and that is a lot of love. Sometimes he thinks about raising kids with Evergreen or he might walk past a store with some baby clothes and start tearing up a little.

Ever's only concern is that their kid might end up with her stone eyes. With the difficulties she had with it she wouldn't want her child to end up with that.

Do you think Miraxus will have children, if so what do you think they will be like?

Hi ! I have pretty expensive headcanons about them but they're not that different from the "general" headcanon and I'm a very poor drawer so I never found an interest in writing or drawing about them.

They're three very blond heads (Mira wanted five but Laxus only one in theory so, ironically, they came to a funny compromise without even trying).

The first one is Rei (pretty sure I took that name from a french fic that I read a LONG time ago) which in japanese can be written as 光, which means "light" (I think, I actually only found one source that says it's one of the possible readings, if it's not then just ignore the whole part about her name). Very unoriginally, she is a blond, looks a lot like her mother with very similar eyes but a very strong jaw, defined eyebrow from her father. I like to make her a lightning demon slayer, she's very strong and about the same age as jerza's kid (pretty sure we got a drawing of him not so long ago) and they get along very well (maybe a little too well according to their parents as they get older).

The second one is a boy which is also a blond and three years younger than his sister (Mira had to let Laxus a little time before getting him to want a second one). I won't tell his name because it's a very open take from fictions but I can't find a name for him that I like. He is very strongheaded and looks a lot like his father except for the eyes and kind of mean to others except for his little brother that he protects with his life, and his cousin (elfever's kid) that tags along. I don't have any defined headcanon about his magic though.

The last one (finally, this answer is way longer than I thought it would be), I won't say his name either for the exact same reason as the other one (if anyone has suggestions, I'm open). He is a boy, as stated before, and only one year younger than the second one (wasn't exactly planned but welcomed with lots of love). He is the most fragile and shy, often sick since his birth (Laxus blamed himself a lot for that) but very devoted to helping his mother, from which he took a lot of features, and siblings. He has the lightest hair of all without it being completely white and is also the only one with his father's green/dark eyes (and he's pretty proud of it). He is not very good at magic (and it's okay).

Can I request a song and a headcanon for Elfman x Evergreen, please?

AHHHH!! YES!! Elfman x Evergreen the beautiful yet criminally underrated ship of dreams!! (As you can see, I totally love them a normal amount...lol)

In all seriousness though, thank you so much for your ask and for playing my ship + headcanon game! Your song and headcanon are below the cut! 🥰

I love these two so much that I'm really not sure I can put it into words, and I debated a lot about which song to pick for them before finally deciding on "Can't Fight This Feeling" by REO Speedwagon because we all know they were really trying to fight those feelings for a long time (but the feelings eventually won out 😉). In all seriousness though, I do think this song is very fitting for them. For instance, "What started out as friendship has grown stronger, I only wish I had the strength to let it show" feels so much like Elfman to me considering how concerned he is about being this strong man but then realizing that opening his heart to Evergreen and expressing his love to her is going to take a lot of strength. Then there are the following lines "I tell myself that I can't hold out forever. I said there is no reason for my fear 'cause I feel so secure when we're together" which feel very much like Evergreen to me--knowing she can't keep denying her feelings and keep being afraid to express them even though she feels this deep connection to Elfman and he has proven how devoted he is to her--how much he wants to protect her and take of her. Of course it makes her feel secure but the question is: is she ready to admit that to herself, let alone to him?

By the time we get to that chorus, it's really both of them realizing that they "can't fight this feeling anymore"--their love is so strong that they don't even remember why they were fighting it so much in the first place and they want to give up that fight, surrender to each other and finally confess.

So without further ado, here is an Elfman x Evergreen love confession headcanon:

Despite a lot of resistance in accepting then wanting to express their romantic feelings for one another, it is Elfman who "caves" first and decides he is going to confess. He plans a special dinner for Evergreen, but everything goes wrong (i.e. the food burns, it starts storming, he accidentally stains wine on her dress ect. ect.) which leads to them bickering like an old married couple. In the midst of this argument in exasperation, Elfman declares "Fine! Forget it. I'm not going to confess to you" and Evergreen promptly retorts, "Well, fine. I'm not going to confess to you either!"

It takes them a couple of minutes to realize that by declaring they weren't going to confess their feelings, they actually ended up inadvertently expressing that they did in fact have feelings for each other. And they have been together ever since. 😁

Fun fact: I actually wrote a fic about them adopting children (well Jerza, Nalu, and Elfever) if anyone is interested in that :)

Nalu

Lucy is literally stressed out the whole time

Natsu is pretty chill but his protectiveness has tripled

Lucy is the strict parent and Natsu is the fun one, but he will back Lucy up when needed

Unfortunately because of his heightened senses, Natsu really struggles with the baby crying. It's way louder for him and even hurts when he's holding the baby (too close to the ears)

Natsu struggles to sleep too. One because of the baby waking him up, but also because he is super protective and wakes up multiple times a night just to check on the baby (Lucy also doesn't sleep through the night but Natsu more so)

Lucy cheats and summons her spirits to help look after the baby. It really helps the new parents get time to rest (and also her spirits love the little baby so its a win win)

While they take turns working, Lucy usually stays home more. She knows Natsu needs to get out all his energy and she has no problem being a stay at home mom (at least for a little bit)

Gruvia

Juvia is literally always crying. Everything the baby does causes Juvia to burst into tears

Gray is in love. He's literally always cooing over the baby

They fight over who has to be the strict parents because both of them wanna be the fun one. Usually Juvia ends up as the strict one

Gray worries so much about the baby that he spends most nights sleeping in the nursery. Juvia keeps a spare blanket and pillow in there now, just so he can be more comfortable

The entire house is covered in toys (and other baby things). It has completely taken over their lives

Neither of them wanna work because they want to spend as much time with their baby as possible (unfortunately they have to so they take turns and only take simple jobs)

Juvia knits cute little onesies for the baby. She makes little dolls too. The dolls match the onesies. Its adorable

Jerza

Erza is super prepared and can literally handle any baby issue (throw up, diaper, teething, etc). She's got everything

Jellal on the other hand is always panicking. The baby hiccups? He's freaking out about if he has to go to the ER

Erza bought so many clothes for the baby. She treats them like a little doll and is always playing dress up

They are both the strict parents. Not terribly but they raise their child to behave (tho both are known to give in to the puppy dog eyes)

Jellal cries a lot. He cried when he found out Erza was pregnant, cried when the baby was born, cried when they brought the baby home, etc (he never thought he'd have a life like this)

For the first couple months after the baby is born, Jellal tries to do as much as possible because he wants Erza to rest (she did do all the hard work for nine months so it's only fair that he steps up after birth)

Somehow their home is always clean and they both always look well rested (well Jellal has permanent eye bags but that's just his normal sleep depravation). No one knows how they are so put together with a newborn

Gajevy

Gajeel is that dad that is always talking about his baby. He's always showing pictures, will turn any conversation into a baby story, and in general cannot go five minutes without talking about his baby

Levy did so much research before the baby was born. She bought literally anything and everything the books recommended

Unfortunately that means when something happens that wasn't in the book, Levy panics

Gajeel also has issues with his heightened senses. Levy takes pity on him when it comes to diaper changes (Gajeel has thrown up from particularly foul ones)

Gajeel tried to do that thing where you make the baby listen to music in the moms stomach, but it was his singing. Levy would come up with every excuse in the book for this not to happen

He does sing to the baby now, but Levy finds it adorable and likes to listen (his voice is more suited for lullaby's)

Levy reads to the baby every night. Her book picks vary from actual kids books to textbooks but the baby doesn't know the difference anyway

Sexuality Headcanon: Lisanna I can see as either Biromantic Ace or Ace Lesbian. Or you can just say Bi and Lesbian and that would be cool too. Gender Headcanon: I can see Lisanna as Cis or Trans Woman and I am happy with either one. (I wish I had more to say on these like the other two, but i think I over hyped myself.) A ship I have with said character: I like LisannaxYukino. But I also like Nali, Luli, Lulev, LisannaxJuvia. Even LisannaxGray has crossed my radar once and didn't seem like a bad idea. A BROTP I have with said character: Natsu. But also Lucy. But, can I see her and Levy just being bros together? Two of the more quieter girls just having some tea (or juice) talking about the shenanigans going around the Guild and giggling over it. Let me have some of that. Please. Can I, please? I also like the idea of her being a brotp with Cana and Yukino. As well as girls from Mermaid Heel. (I headcanon they once asked her if she'd like to join them once, but she turned them down to stay with Mirajane and Elfman.) A NOTP I have with said character: Bickslow. For no reason asides from it was overhyped when I first saw it and just felt a little weird because at the time, people were also shipping Mirajane with either Freed/Laxus and shipping Elfever. And it just felt weird to me to have all the Strauss siblings getting with the entire Thunder Legion like they're making some weird collection of white haired, take over mages. A random headcanon: She snores. Not loud, like a freight train snoring. But not cute little squeaks either. Almost like she has sleep apnea. It just hits her at random and sounds like a little snort, or like she stopped breathing for a few seconds. Then she rolls over and it stops. (don't ask me why I hc this. I do not know. it popped into my head one day and never left.) General Opinion over said character: I like her. But I also felt she was massively underutilized and pretty much just ignored after Edolas arc. Like, why bring her back if you're not going to USE her? There could have been so many moments of her making new friends or joining adventures with other people and just being bad ass, but it NEVER HAPPENED! And also took away from the lesson of learning to grieve over losing a loved one. It's complicated. I like her alive and I love her character. I just wish Mashima had done more with her.

I love this! Fraxus and Canajane are such good role models of healthy loving relationships even when you've got baggage and trauma. The younger sibs respect them so much.

Bickslow and Lisanna are total pranksters on the other 6.

They're also the pair who has kids. Fraxus might adopt. Canajane would maybe adopt, but it would be later in life and after lots of thought, and just one kid they love with all their being.

Ever and Elfman are happy being the cool aunt and uncle. Elfman loves kids but doesn't care if they're his, so babysitting Lisanna and Bicks's kids a lot is a good compromise for them. Ever learns she's not terrible with children, but she still just loves her and Elfman's independence too much, and Elfman totally respects that. He's never pushed her.

In the same way she's never pushed him about the sex thing. Over the years, there have been a few times he wanted it, or wanted to try specific things, and she's always game. But he still calls himself ace, and Evergreen loves how good he is at helping other asexuals feel okay about themselves. She loves him as he is, and has never needed him to take care of her sexual needs (she's got a particular vibrator she loves): she's with him because she likes him for who he is.

Both Freed and Laxus and Cana and Mira continue to take dangerous missions into their later years. All of the couples and teammates do, honestly, although Bicks and Lisanna tone it down after having a fam. Despite his joking ways, Bicks is a really good dad and protective of his kids.

When Laxus becomes guildmaster, Mira is his right hand. Freed continues to be epic and to support his partner with his entire being, and when the other 2 are busy, he often hangs with Cana, who runs the bar when Mira can't.

When they know they can (no big missions or responsibilities atm), Freed and Cana sometimes get tipsy together and tell silly stories and are ridiculous. Mira is used to it, but Laxus thinks it's both parts silly and adorable.

When Freed and Laxus have relationship troubles (usually communication issues, since they both hide their emotions at times), Laxus goes to Cana for advice and help. She finds this boggling, since she doesn't consider herself an expert (although she really is); when she and Mira have issues, she relies on Laxus in turn, and the pair develop a really close friendship.

Freed is a scholar all his life, making some modest scientific discoveries about magic. If they have kids, one of them definitely follows in his academic stead, and Laxus couldn't be more proud.

Well that accidentally turned into a bunch of headcanons lol.

I used to really love the combination of Lax//ana, Mira//freed, Elfever and Bixanna and I still do but now I prefer Fraxus, Elfever, Bixanna and maybe Canajane it’s quite cute. I would be quite happy if the first two become end game ships for the series ^-^     – submitted by anonymous

uh so i kind of lost the original post and imma just list likes/dislikes, headcanons, and ships! sowwiee anon :33

Likes: His hair. Honestly, the hair of all the FT boys kills me with its beauty! I like his magic, and how gay he is for Laxus - but he is also confident, strong and respects women. Also, he’s so smart and cute! And I love how strong his loyalty is; though his moral compass eventually wins out, his loyalty to Laxus remains for so long :D

Dislikes: Mashima making him a background character. That’s literally the only thing I ever dislike about an FT character - Mashima ruining them. I’m a shitty writer, and I could write them better. Just goes to show *shrug*

Ships: FRAXUS ALL THE WAY! Also BixFreed, and Bix/Freed/Laxus (I would include Ever, but I can���t tear apart ElfEver) Crack ships - Rogue x Freed. I feel like their calm personalities would balance out each other really well! And since they’re both secretly drama queens, they take it out on each other :D

nOTPs: Freed/Mira, Freed/Lucy, Freed/Cana - pretty much any straight Freed ship lmfao I just... ship him with Laxus so much! Not to hate on the people who ship any of the above, I just don’t like those ships personally :33

Headcanons: Freed is enby/trans gay! I mostly headcanon them as a trans boy, but the enby Freed headcanon stole my heart too :3 He is demiromantic, which means that he wants to know someone before falling for them, and ace. Freed loves to cook, but Laxus doesn’t let him for fear of making him feel like a housewife. Laxus is a good boyfriend :D Freed plays piano and his best guild friend is Levy, with whom he loves to chat about books. He also wields knives when he’s not using magic. Despite popular opinion being that Ivan gave Laxus his scar by implanting the Lacrima, it’s actually Freed’s fault! The two were sparring and he accidentally cut Laxus with his knife. Laxus moaned about how uncool the scar would look, and Freed offered to shape it into a lightning bolt. Surprisingly, Laxus agreed.
