Do Viva Pinatas have meat flesh?

I noticed when sacrificing an Elephanilla to my Roarios (for romance) (would not hunt it on their own for some reason) that the inside just under the paper mache is a fleshy pink.

What are these things. Why do they have teeth and flesh.

if they have teeth does that mean they have other bones. The paper mache shell is sorta like an exoskeleton though. Teeth could be made of some kind of candy I guess. Tooth shaped jawbreakers?

Ooh, tough call buuut I’m gonna say the Syrupent line were pretty fun to breed up to (especially with the last one “Fourheads”, gotta love having a Hydra-like beast in my garden protecting everyone lol)

I also really liked the Kittyfloss’s, Pigxies, Flutterscotches (my main fave color variant being the purple ones), Chewnicorns, Pretztails and Elephanillas ^^.

Top Ten Pinata Names in Viva Pinata

Just a simple, quick one this week as I’ve been pressed for time. Normal service will resume next week, when I’ll probably have a ferociously long and intense post on my favourite Wombles, or something.

Orinoco, man. Orinoco.

Anyway, my kids (and my wife) have been playing quite a bit of Viva Pinata recently. It’s a lovely game, funny and deep and rich and infuriating. It’s one of those games – a bit like Crackdown, funnily enough, although I think they’ve tried to increase the star-power of that one recently – that’s always going to be a cult classic because even though it’s great in so many ways, not enough people really played it or banged on about it. Maybe because it was a bit of a weird oddity in the early years of the Xbox 360. But I digress.

If you’re not familiar, you have to tend a garden in order to attract wildlife; the wildlife in question being sentient pinatas whose sole earthly desire is to be bashed apart by hyperactive children eager to consume their sweet, candied innards.

Maybe that’s why it never quite became The Sims.

One of the great things about it, and a testament to the delightfully British and slightly off-kilter sense of humour that they seem to possess over at Rare, is the names of the pinatas. They’re all based on real animals but, given the sweet-based nature of pinatas, they have confectionary-related names that combine the animal with the edible. I’ll leave you to work out which is which in the list below. At least one of them is probably impossible without Googling, to be fair.

This list, then, isn’t really about which creatures or characters I most admire; rather, it’s just which puntastic name I find the funniest. A-ho-ho-ho.
