theo was in the park, just wanting to get out into the world after keeping herself in isolation for the past few days. The reason she did that, was that she found herself in a new life, a new person, a vampire, and she really didn’t know how to control or even deal with this craving, this need that she felt in her, for blood. she had just actually broke into the hospital nearby and stole a few bags of blood, because that was the only thing she could think of, she didn’t want to hurt innocent people. She didn’t have a problem hurting someone who deserved it, but her difficulty was how do you decide who deserves that?

she was sitting at a picnic table, just drinking from this bag of blood like a juice box as she enjoyed the nature and just being outside. However, that’s when she heard, smelled, felt someone’s presence not too close to her but close enough (maybe within a few hundred feet or so). The smell of fresh blood though, it caught her attention and almost overwhelmed her, almost. taking a few deep breaths in, before taking another sip of the hospital blood she had in hand. “this just tastes stale...” she quietly said to herself.

It was a bit chaotic with a crowd surrounding the woman.  Meredith was able to push through, dropping to her knees to get a good look.  Given the amount of blood, she was definitely in trouble.  Thinking on her feet, Meredith unwound her scarf and pressed it to the wound.  She could hear the sirens in the distance and hoped that her makeshift bandage would hold til then.  “Can everyone back up please?” She asked turning her head slightly. 

When the woman was finally an ambulance, Meredith stood, letting out a sigh.  Her eyes wandered through what was left out of the crowd, falling on a man.  There was blood on him as well.  “Hey...are you hurt?  I’m a doctor.”

He shrugged, “Maybe, who the bloody hell knows what would happen? Nothing good. That’s not the point though—” he rolled his eyes at what he had to explain before he continued, “He's convinced it’d basically be factory farming but humans, he has this whole batshit manifesto.” he explained, holding up his hands slightly “Hey, I’m not saying he’s winning any awards for his genius or anything. That’s just what he thinks. The point is the guy has a few screws loose.”

The Quarter was bustling as it usually was during this time. Summer was always the time for more festivals and parades, for music and parties. She enjoyed it because being out here in the thrall of the population it was easy to feel just as she wanted to feel - human. She stops near the table that's in front of one of the shops, her fingertips dancing over the cover of a few of the books laying atop the surface. She looks up, her eyes catching the sight of a man in the reflection there. Someone is standing there. Someone familiar and something feels caught in her chest as she swiftly turns around, brushing past the on goers until she's standing in front of the man she'd seen. A ghost more than anything it seems like.

"Alexander?" she calls out, her brows lightly furrowing as she moves towards him, her insides churning with nerves? worry? uncertainty? or perhaps she was simply afraid she'd already lost her bloody mind. "It can't really be you, can it?" she questioned but there he was. The New Orleans sun shining down on him, his eyes lighting with it and she has to take a breath. He's real, standing in front of her. Lifting her hand she lightly touches the side of his face for some kind of proof that he's there. It was skin there beneath her fingertips, life breathing beneath the surface and she nearly startles backwards at the feel of it. "It can't be."

Just because she was a fighter, didn’t mean she was an actual ‘fighter’. Eden had no practical skill for sword fighting or armed defense, but she would be damned if she would let this witch take her down without some fight! She just got Alexander back. She wasn’t going to lose him again to her or anyone else ever again.

The witch seemed amused at her efforts, slowly raising her hand in combatant with her poorly handled sword, with an evil, satisfied smirk. “Goodbye.”

Waves of magic bolts come out at her and Eden braced herself for it. For the pain, or instant death, or whatever the magic was intended to do, but all that came was a bright flash & clap before it disappeared with her scream. Eden uninjured, and her valiant prince on the floor.

“Alexander!” She dropped the sword and rushed to his side. He must have taken the attack and defeated the witch. Her promise that her magic would never hurt him, only curse his form, being her downfall. “No, no! Alexander please! Wake up! You can’t leave me! This is all my fault! You can’t die saving my life again!” @elenaloveablekotsala

Her dark hues drop for a moment before rising back up to Alexander’s face, a gentle shrug as she raises her fingers up to trace the curve of his jaw, “If you wanted it to be something more, I wouldn’t be opposed.” her voice is just barely audible but she knew he could hear her just fine, “Is that what you want?” The question is soft, her hand stills as it moves to rest against his chest.

Freya truly lost her words. She moved slowly into the room as if a trap laid in wait at her feet. Freya held his eyes and she sat down on the cushion chair as it rocked slightly. “Then... I’ll stay.” she pushed her lips together and then glanced at him. 

“Look, I’m not the easiest to get along with, but my family. I lost them for a thousand years, they are all I have,” She said. IT was the closest to an apology as he would get right now.

when a dead body is discovered on the packs property in stonehaven the towns local law enforcement starts an investigation, with the wolves as their primary suspect. only they know better. suspecting that a mutt is responsible they begin their own investigation and find themselves on the cusp of a war. all the while trying to keep the local human population safe.

the wolves: 

* phases are not affected by the moon. wolves can change at will.  * they are not indestructible and can be killed in wolf and human form. however they do heal quicker and their enhanced abilities make them more difficult to catch off guard.  * pack wolves carry the gene and pass it down through their children. pack wolves do not necessarily need to be related but some will be.  * mutts have been bitten  * mutts are more aggressive and are known to hunt humans for sport. the pack does not adhere to this lifestyle and have been at war with them for quite some time.  * the pack DOES have an alpha while the mutts are more of the loner type.  * pack wolves live on a large property which they call stonehaven. it’s large enough that they frequently will phase and run the grounds without fear of discovery. until now...

Long hard road to get to this point. But he feels like the city is under his rule again. He’s made some mistakes and a while lotta regrets. But he’s alright, he’s better than he’s ever been. Or at least that’s what he tells himself. Especially when old ‘friends’ are coming to visit. He doesn’t know much about Alexander but what he’s heard over the years. and he’s not so eager to meet him. But there’s the bar that he agreed upon and the man.

He could turn his back now and not do it. He’s annoyed by the audiences demanded. People thinking that just because they knew one of the originals or all of them that they had some hold on them. but this guy was talking long held grudge and he swore he would be all ears. “lets get a table in the back, the drinks’ll be on me so lets keep ‘em coming while we talk.”

It was no secret that trust did not come natural to Freya. Maybe it was because she felt that her mother had practically sold her, or because Dahlia had taken away most of her free will while she was alive. Either way, Freya had learned to close herself off from most emotions. Or at least, she did so visually. Those closest to her would be able to tell that she was scared, or excited, but usually she cam off as moody and cold.

So when Alexander showed up to supposedly protect Elijah, it wasn’t a surprise to most people that Freya assumed he had a secret agenda, likely one that involved killing Klaus or Rebekah. Despite her distrust of him, Elijah felt that the vampire was being truthful, so he was allowed in and out of the home. “Elijah isn’t here,” she explained. She didn’t know where her brother had run off to - perhaps somewhere with Hayley - but she wouldn’t have told him even if she did know. And really, she had no idea why Alexander was there, she only assumed it was to speak with Elijah.
