Do Something That Scares You
When Eleanor Roosevelt said, “Do something that scares you every day,” she wasn’t talking about watching the latest slasher film on Netflix. She was talking about stepping outside your comfort zone. The cozy routines most of us live our daily lives in keep stress and risk to a minimum.

If you cannot tell I happen to really admire the former first lady, Eleanor Roosevelt. To me she embodied all that we as women can do and so much more. Do you have a person you admire and would like to emulate in writing and/or deed?

THE UNITED STATES has never had another leader like Franklin D. Roosevelt. Serving for 12 years, far longer than any other president, he had such a profound impact on the nation and the world that he is widely recognized as one of the transformational figures of the 20th Century and one of America's best presidents. Tap the link in our bio to get the facts on America’s longest-serving president. #FranklinDRoosevelt #FDR #morale #FranklinRoosevelt #PearlHarbor #EleanoreRoosevelt #postWWII #FourFreedoms #dc #fdrmemorial #WWII https://www.instagram.com/p/B7B0pDglN-e/?igshid=17yewp2w6z7hz

When my boys were little (they're teenagers now), they were NOT good sleepers. Not even a little. My youngest didn't sleep through the night by himself until he was 7. That was HARD! But now I look back on all of the extra snuggles we got together & am grateful for that extra time. You can do it, mama. Even if you think you can't do it. Even if you're sleep deprived. Even if you hadn't had a shower in a week. You can totally do it. You've got this! I'm cheering you on. ♥ . . . . #dohardthings #believeit #speakit #writeit #doit #repeat #beautifulgirl #homesweathome #girlmom #momoftwo #youareloved #mommaonamission #gettingmyhearthealthy #goals #youcantoo #littlegirlspearls #momsrock #momisawesome #awesomemom #youmustdowhatyouthinkyoucannot #youmustbelieve #youmusttry #dontgiveup #roosevelt #eleanoreroosevelt #bluecornflower #cornflowers #cornflowerblue #doallthethings #youcandoit — view on Instagram https://ift.tt/2l8XVCI

Eleanore dear, I'd marry you know if you'd have me. "You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, 'I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.' You must do the thing you think you cannot do." #courage #strength #firstlandy #humanrights #eleanoreroosevelt #confidence #faith #fear #hope #belief #values, com

10 TO 1 CHALLENGE
10 Facts about Yourself
1. My full name is Britney Kalyn Dargavell -- and I hate nicknames, for myself. I don't really like being called 'Brit' though I'll answer to it.
2. I am 20 years and a day younger then my brother. I was born April 27th, 1991 and he was born April 26th 1971. This is really the most interesting fact about myself. :)
3. I'm Scottish.
4. I've never been in love with anyone. Yes I've been in a couple relationships but I didn't really love any of them.
5. I believe there's more to this world than what we can see. Rather that's God or not, I don't know.
6. I tend to obsess about certain things. Rather it's people or how things are done, there are just somethings I have, HAVE to get right the first time or I get annoyed.
7. I can be extremely sharp when I speak sometimes. I don't consider myself a mean or rude person, but sometimes I say things that come off really sharp or rude, when that's not really how I meant them.
8. I have major trust issues when it comes to people, even the ones I'm close to. I have a constant fear that people are going to stab me in the back, because it's happened SO many times before -- really to the point that most people don't believe me when I talk about it.
9. I own 30+ books and I've read almost all of them at least once, some I've read more than once. I'm currently working on reading the Teardrop series by Lauren Kate.
10. I am addicted to ink pens. I am constantly buying new ones....it's really bad.
