Erika's "we'll take back everything the humans took from us" speech is funny as hell because she is a human rich kid with an aengel greatgrandparent she never heard about before who lived her entired life in the human world and only arrived in Eldarya by accident. So because she lived for a year or so (the time inside the crystal doesn't count) in faerie land she thinks she can talk for an entire race that became extinct after a genocide caused not by humans but for other faeries?

I always related to Ale de Miranda! with Ezarel. His songs are super accurate to the Gardie x Ez relationship and in his last concert, the singer was singing his most jaleous and dramatic song with a swan in the background (Taenmil lol) so now this is in my mind.

There's no Obsidian chief officially, but in practice it's Jamon who does all the work an Obsidian chief should do.

If Erika had been part dragon instead of part aengel I feel like Lance's reaction would’ve been less hostile in TO but ultimately the outcome would’ve been the same, he would’ve still tried to destroy the crystal to bring the dragon race back. But yeah maybe he would’ve tried to spare her and then... who knows 🤭

I like the Christmas event. The outfits are pretty, all of them.

The two new companions are ugly and so cute at the same time - I must have them! ❤

But ... why only a group picture again?

Eldarya has of 6 events, 4x group pics and 2x single pics. (Last year there was even only 1x single pictures)

I mean, it doesn't have to be christmassy, but wintry would have been enough for single pictures:

(the ideas may not be great, but I would have liked something like that.)

Leiftan - with a book (and tea) snuggled up in a blanket

Nevra - Winter walk with Shaïtan

Mathieu - building a snowman/snowball fight

Lance - needs to cool the Christmas cookies so Gardi can decorate them

And what do we get? The boys, each holding a present in their hands. 🙄 Yes, Leiftan is beautiful in the picture, and that gift with the little aengel feather. ❤ (this detail is the only thing that consoles me. x'D )

I like the event, it's just the group illustration thing that bothers me. 🙈 There are too many group pictures at events in Eldarya. 🙈

But one thing that has been cheering me up all day is the "Gift Bringer" outfit. "Gift" is the word for poison in German. X'D

Leiftan fears for what Erika will become, and she is starting to become paranoid... I wonder how much difference will be between the daemon gardie ending vs aengel gardie. (It's not like they love to do that much labour when it comes to Eldarya yet...)

L: You could think that aengels are sending their power to you. But I still believe it's not the case.

L: I don't know exactly why we have this impression that our power is something external to us. I get it that may be pleasant the feeling of being... supported, in some way.

E: Yeah... when I use my powers it's like aengels are by my side. As if they guided me, somehow (we're wasting maana again with the "two different ways of saying the same thing", dammit)

E: Maybe because my powers have frequently manifested on their own. As if they came to help me when I need, without my need to ask.

L: However, it weren't the aengels that helped me to retrieve my powers.

L: It was only Koori, when she helped me remember the aengel I once was. (oh, is that so? But remember IT WAS MY IDEA, OKAY? Leiftan isn't helping me have any sympathies for this character)

E: The vampires, the rookhs were piece of cake compared to what awaits us. The Templars will attack us again, and they won't fall back. We can't bring ourselves to avoid using such power and I refuse to let everything that happened before, happen again. And if I need to neutralize all of them, I will, whatever the means. If its the only way to protect the faerys, I will use this dark energy until they're safe.

E: (Leiftan blocked his emotions. I don't like it.)

L: I need to get up, I need to talk to HH.

I would have enjoyed a plot where Gardienne's father wasn't the one with the faery bloodline

He still remembers her, but he's just a normal human, who was kind of cold towards everyone, because he was too much of a businessman, and had a fight with his wife's parents because they kept talking about those fairy tales that have been passed down their family for many generations, up to his kid.

I don't know, for some reason, I think it would've been more shocking to have him approaching them out of desperation once he realizes that, whatever happened to his daughter, can't be explained any way without getting magic involved. Imagine him getting his ego this low to try to find anything that can allow him to get his girl back, he even apologizes to them after years and years of fight, and then his wife dumps him. Ouch. I would've loved that storyline, I would be a lot more understanding with him, knowing that he made big sacrifices to get where he is.

Right now, I can't say I don't like it, but it doesn't feel personal at all. He just searched for a reason to not call himself crazy, and found this weird cult thing just because apparently the potion doesn't work in faeries (???? that doesn't fit the 1st season, but whatever, I guess now this is the new canon), and joined. So far, it doesn't feel like his goal was to find his daughter, it was just an event that allowed him to find this place.

Again, I'm not saying the story we have now is bad, it can just be a decision to introduce things this way, I just hope they don't just want to have the dad as a plain villain. I hope they give him reasons to just not walk into Eldarya himself and get his kid back as soon as he could. It would suck if they just solve the parents/family problem by just making them villains that they'll kill in the end so Gardienne doesn't have to make decisions between staying on Earth or Eldarya x-x

"Story of Creartion":

✨ Some sketches of the designs that I will handle in this series.

Context: Creation Stories talks about the papyri of ''The Prophecy of Thuban''. One of the dragon rulers of time who was the main person in charge of recounting the different prophecies. This prophecy basically talks about all the time of Eldarya ''The Origins'' (With the twists of my AU). He dictates with different symbols, shapes and even animals, many of the events that later happen before, during and after the white sacrifice. This prophecy, after the fall of the ''tower of Babel'' and with the library of Alexandria, was distorted and became the basis of many of the religions known before and today (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Mayan, etc. . ) in its different versions. The draconian prophecies (in my AU) by law did not use anthropomorphic figures or references to people since they feared that someone could feel alluded to and create a false prophet or heroic figure, so they used the stars, inert objects or even intangible things. BUT this particular prophecy speaks nothing more and nothing less than the main characters of Eldarya (and some secondary ones) and there the whole series that I am doing HAHAHAHAHA. The reason why many of the religious stories are closely similar to this story is because, those stories ARE BORN from this prophecy. That's why it's called "Story of Creartion". Anyway, more lore than anyone is going to read so here I leave these guys:

New Era ends with Gardy leaving the guard, moving to a uninhabited island . She starts to grow cabbage.

She is finally content with her life. No one to demand things from her. No expectations. Just her, her solitude, and her cabbages.

If anyone from the Guard goes near her, she will most likely stab them.
