Do you have any one headcanon you just really, really like?

Blake Belladonna, despite not being able to dance canonically has spent a lot of time around illegal raves and clubs. Because the White Fang needed income and it would have been a good place for Adam to organise illegal business, network and to show off.

As a result of that, Blake (The avid reader/literary nerd with a definite understanding of wordplay and double entendres) has absolutely got bars

After seeing people losing their minds over one (1) kiss between fubuki and psykos, can you imagine what the comments are going to be like when we get to the part where they're talking in the mind room?

The amount of outrage, denial, ragequitting, to the entitled and downright bigoted accusations thrown directly Murata's way on twitter over that single panel is quite....o__o;; eye-opening to say the least. Really showing those fans' true colors there. Ahem. Anyway, Fubuki & Psykos' history, connection, and unique intimacy in the wc were always a thing (and those who refused to see it then are now violently coping hard) that I'm downright elated to see ONE's boldness in enhancing their emotional intimacy in the manga even more! (Cause yep their scenes together are only going to increase from here.) I hope he continues pushing those boundaries for the better, so keep it up ONE~

Happy birthday! Now, I've been meaning to ask, what's your favorite detail/aspect or trope in the spicecream ship?

Thank yoooou!! And actually, I think one of my fave aspects is the fact that ship starts as a game for them (for me), but despite the hatred and the differences, their similarities is what makes them slowly fall for each other...but none of them confess. And that neverending tension is something I love for some reason.

The constant fight for dominance because them both have their reasons to not like being stepped over, but at times letting the other take control even if not easily.

Those are the ones that first came to mind, at least!

Unironically is very into retro City Pop and derivatives of Disco. Along with a sprinkle of Eurobeat.

She used to club and party a lot and those were her favourite songs at karaoke, but now she no longer really does that but she loves those genre of musics so much

Whats your favorite worm arc?

Ooh....A tough one actually.

I might have to reread it to get a more solid answer, but first thing that came to mind was "Slaughterhouse Nine" but didn't their whole thing go on for a couple arcs?

Do you like how ONE and Murata have been handling the esper sisters arc? Personally I'm a big fan atm, I wasn't much of a Tats fan before the MA raid, but now I can't wait until we finally get to see her on panel again.

I like how Tatsumaki can confidently hold her own in the 'protagonist' role, and it's entertaining to watch her solve/confront problems in unorthodox yet brutal ways (with her own signature twist), so I'm enjoying seeing her get the spotlight. The arc is still early to see how it turns out, but this time manga Tatsumaki isn't so pathologically black & white antagonistic - there's layers to her anger that are understandable (she's not someone solely to be feared), so it's going to be tough for Fubuki to convince her otherwise when Tatsumaki's seen all the direct evidence she needs to put her foot down when it comes to (their) safety. :')

how much have you spent on commissions?

Depends on the Fanart commission.

The most expensive I spent was when I was young and dumb, around 500$ for a Pact commission I think, even though it was black and white line art and there were far more reasonable artists around.

Generally though, the fairest prices are 70-200$, depending on various things like details, number of characters, color and editing etc etc

Hey you're writing your own original story? That's awesome, what is it going to be all about?

A lot of modern superhero stories, things like Invincible and the Boys run with the "What if Superman was evil" question.

But at the same time, in most/a decent amount of modern Superhero stories the heroes are literally doing it as a full time job. They're either working for the government or in some cases a company....And that's honestly worse in some ways.

It's less "What do you do if Superman is evil" and more "What do you do if Superman doesn't care that your house is on fire, he clocked off ten minutes ago and isn't getting overtime"

"What happens when the police use a Superhero to get rid of protesters"

Basically "If 'Superhero' is just a career, where do you go for an actual hero"

I think the opm lacks actually good Tatsumaki fanarts, and by that I mean fanarts where she isn't an oversexualized loli

(my reaction to this take is basically Tatsumaki's when she saw that commercial)

....The feeling when you just want to see cool arts of her as the petite powerful woman she is, but ironically enough, just like that manga moment of her disapproval, her tag is inundated with stolen fetish art or ai generated spam of the lowest common denominator...I Understand what you mean. :'D I once blocked someone who spammed like 5pages of it that it broke the tag! Still, all it takes is to remain stone-faced and vigilant, cause there are some genuine respectful Tatsumaki fanartists out there.

For example, check out elcuervoborracho's work of her, breikka's got some nice stuff, and shino's Tatsumaki remains a favorite, as is this one by nantec too.

Gasha Lore 101 HERE!

On Gashadokuro's fighting style:

Each Gasha has her own way to fight. Some will be ranged type of fighters, other will prefer up-close combat. Some will be excellent assassins who execute targets without being even noticed, others will prefer a flashy fight. It's all up to the Weapon's comfort zone and abilities.

Assassin-type fighters have more advantages with Gashadokuro's "lurk" power. Gashadokuro can follow a target without being noticed in any way whatsoever so long she is above the target (or at least not on the same "ground level") and the target doesn't look up. The most excellent at this are Naginata Gasha (who has defined her own fighting style as "ambush predator"), Ninjato Gasha and Sniper Rifle Gasha.

Naginata in particular love to use the "lurk" power to reinforce dread in the target's mind. It's all about the message you send, she thinks. She's a bit poetic like this and she likes to take her time and not do anything too reckless right away. It's better.

Combined with Akira's illusions and mastery in messing with her targets' mind? It is a perfect duo.

As for other fighting situations, let's just say Gashadokuro is a swiss-army woman who has a technique for every little situation. Great improvisation if she is given enough time to react.

When it comes to superhero stories or stories that involve superpowers, what's the type of story you like? High stakes, big conflicts? street level stuff, something in between?

Street level, but with an option to go bigger as long as the worldbuilding and narrative allow for it.

Take the Static Shock comics....Bang Babies are a local and street level issue for Virgil and co, but with the narrative centering systematic oppression the way it does it's able to reach out and show a wider story by showing the scale of that system.
