When the irony is almost too ironic
So now that I’ve posted the rest of the character highlights (had to split them into two because of Tumblr’s image limit), I might as well comment on them too. Need to get this off my chest for a moment.
The highlights of Masaki, Eisuke and Koushirou in particular gave me whiplash. They threw me back to my reviews of S2 in ways that feel oddly cathartic. Like how they just… keep confirming literally everything I pointed out as negative in S2. It’s weird because those things were all so obvious, but the way they’re written in the fanbook almost exactly how I talked about them is… well, it’s really something. Some of it even dates back to things I said regarding S1 six years ago. I don’t know how to describe this but it sort of feels like being vindicated in a morbid way, if that makes any sense.
I just wonder… when whoever was in charge of writing this text typed it down, did they actually believe that it had anything to do with the source material at all? Because it… kinda reads like they did? “The only thing he thought about was improving his skills in order to change his grandfather’s opinion of him” really sounds like that’s what they got from Masaki’s backstory and, uh. How. How do you miss the point by so far? It literally went in the opposite direction. We already knew that but still.
Also gotta love that it says his mindset changed when he watched the boys doing archery in earnest, instead of Minato being the one who changed it when he begged Masaki not to leave him. KyoAni really went out of its way to make sure that there’s absolutely nothing exclusive in their relationship this time around. Everything that was originally a them-only thing in the novel has been turned into a Masaki and the boys' thing in S2.
Speaking of the team, the implication that Masaki started out not rejoicing in his disciples’ development but learned to do it eventually is just brutal. I get what KyoAni is trying to convey to the viewers and that they’re making up for a lot of what they didn’t show in S1, but the timing is terrible and it’s a contradiction of basic Zen principles. Principles that Masaki had already been shown to follow prior to this.
Alas, that’s just one contradiction of many. Masaki is probably the character with the biggest amount of incoherences in how he is portrayed in the anime. My guess is the animators were so focused on collecting material about archery that collecting material about Shinto priesthood probably wasn’t a priority. More like they were so focused on the boys that Masaki was relegated to the sidelines. And I say this a lot but have to say it again: that’s what happens when you try to write Masaki separately from Minato. It goes off the rails.
Other than this, there’s also confirmations of some of my suspicions. Masaki almost telling the boys what they got wrong, then deciding to do it the Zen way and letting them find out for themselves only after getting a cue from Tomio is one thing that I hadn’t been so sure if I was just overthinking or not, but turns out not. This is the anime’s way of telling the viewers that Masaki, too, is growing as a teacher, but they could’ve done something equivalent that wouldn’t make him seem contradictorily inexperienced.
I say contradictorily because, again, he has been teaching these kids in the Zen way (indirect, mystic, full of puzzles, fuck around and find out for yourself, master throws a question and disciple has to give his own answer) from the very beginning. Even in S1 he was already doing that. But in S2, just like the boys suddenly forget how to work as a team, Masaki seems to suddenly forget how he had been teaching them until then. So he suddenly becomes a greenhorn as well, because it’s totally realistic for a high schooler like Eisuke to be the perfect teacher for a bunch of other high schoolers, but a 5th dan has to start again from zero. They could’ve just animated Masaki’s fight with Minato and let that be his greenhorn moment, but their relationship isn’t supposed to exist in S2, so this just isn’t an option, apparently.
Speaking of Eisuke, now I finally understand why his relationship with Shuu and Minato felt so off in the anime to me. In the novel, his beef was with them, not with Saionji. Saionji chose them as disciples because he felt something fateful about meeting them. It’s never explained in the novel, but a while after I finished reading volume 3, I got hit with a thought. I felt this was the author’s way of hinting that the three of them are an allegory to Amida Sanzon, with Saionji being Amida Nyorai, Shuu being Seishi Bosatsu and Minato being Kannon Bosatsu. Same logic applies to the Minato-Masaki-Shuu trinity, since Masaki has also taught Shuu at some point, with Masaki being Amida in this case. I imagine that Ayano wrote about it so vaguely in volume 1 because she didn’t know whether or not she could delve this deep into Buddhist territory back then.
But in any case, the way that the novel establishes the conflict with Eisuke is: Minato and Shuu are special. Not in general, but to Saionji, specifically. Teaching them is his calling and being taught by him is their calling. But all Eisuke gets from this is the first part. That Minato and Shuu are special, and he is not. That somehow they were regarded more highly than him, who is older and more experienced, when actually, they were not. Saionji simply felt that it was his mission to teach them, and he was right about that. Eisuke could’ve tried to find his own calling with another master—one who perhaps could teach him in uchiokoshi style. Instead, he chose to be immature and became obsessed with proving himself superior to Minato and Shuu. He could not stand the idea that little kids with no previous experience, one that got apprenticeship through connections and one by dumb luck, were worthier to be taught than him and even his uncle.
Eisuke also seems to have felt like there was something fateful about Saionji choosing them over him. The way he talked about it felt a lot like chosen people ideology, which even Shuu sometimes seemed to believe whenever he went on about being “loved by the god of archery”. He’s pretty much looking down on Saionji by thinking Saionji was mistaken to choose Minato and Shuu over him, and it’s extremely arrogant to try and prove Saionji wrong by defeating Minato and Shuu. It’s also childish logic, because defeating them would prove nothing, actually. And that’s the point of the novel. Same point as Zen Buddhism and archery: those who hold grudges can never reach spiritual adulthood. Eisuke is, as his name itself implies, forever a child on the inside.
But all of that makes Eisuke look kinda lame in the eyes of the audience, doesn’t it? And Yamamura Takuya is having none of that with his new bias. Nuh-uh, the ones who have to look bad are Saionji, and by extension, Minato and Shuu. Because pulling the rug from under the main characters’ feet is the smartest possible move.
In the anime, as confirmed by the fanbook, Eisuke’s problem is Saionji. Not because she chose Minato and Shuu over him, but because she rejected his uncle. In the novel, Saionji rejecting Shigeru was also something that pissed him off, but his main problem was with Minato and Shuu. In the anime, that’s the opposite, which is why Eisuke is way less hostile and childish towards them in it. The difference that this makes is: the anime makes Eisuke look good in detriment of Minato and Shuu. With him being angry at Saionji for her being unfair to Shigeru, his attitude and motives seem justified. It’s not about him, it’s about someone he loves and admires. That one hurts more and doesn’t make him seem arrogant at all for defying her decision. It even almost seems like Saionji is in the wrong for hurting his family’s honor in certain respects, and that he rightfully wants closure from it but isn’t going the best way about it, which is his one and only mistake. And with Saionji being the target of his anger, he doesn’t need to be as antagonistic with Minato and Shuu in particular.
Now this might make people think, “Isn’t that better than in the novel, then?” That is subjective, but objectively speaking, this is a narrative incongruency. Novel!Eisuke is an example of how narrow-mindedness and lack of humility can lead one astray. By taking away his arrogance and just making him angry while justifying this anger, they’re basically taking away the reason for him to fail. It also makes him more endearing than the actual protagonists and makes the audience want to cheer for him instead of them (which a lot of people did). And none of that is an accident, because the director himself says it in this fanbook that he likes Eisuke personally. Or the traits that he can identify with, at least.
On the topic of Eisuke being the director’s bias, it’s amazing how the other members of Tsujimine basically exist in the anime not as their own person but as extensions of Eisuke. They’re there to make him look better and to do things for him. Koushirou’s highlight made me realize that we only ever get any information about the other members in relation to Eisuke, save for when Enyuu had a crush on Rika, but this was meant to give the girls more screen time rather than give him a personality. I always wondered why Reiji, who is so flashy in the novel, was so meek in the anime, but now I guess it’s because no one can catch more attention than Eisuke. Literally all data there is in the fanbook about Koushirou and the others is linked to Eisuke. His highlight is only about what he does to help Eisuke, even though the anime never explains why Koushirou goes that far for him in the first place. It’s not interested in exploring Koushirou himself. The director’s only interest is Eisuke.
S2 is such a frustrating topic to write about. So many things were done well and so many were done horribly. I feel terrible whenever I analyze anything Tsurune-related nowadays.

KBTBB High School Headcanons!
Eisuke - I’d say Eisuke probably had straight A’s without trying. He was every girl's crush at school. All of the teachers loved him, giving their best reviews on report cards. Though, didn't have many friends, despite talking to a school day’s worth of people. The people he did call friends were just those he believed would benefit him in the future. You know the anime, “Haven’t you heard? I’m Sakamoto” basically, he’s a kid who’s perfect. Always ten steps ahead, girls love him, guys respect him, teachers admire his grades, that type of thing. That’s Eisuke. He avoids conflict and is always a step ahead. Pop quiz? He knew about it a week before.
Soryu - When you first see him you think he’s a bully, which is attractive in a way. Turns out he’s just a quiet kid, though there’s definitely an abnormal strength about him. The person everyone fights to get on their team during gym class. Decent grades, probably would get a B in math if it weren’t for the teacher being scared of him. I can imagine him holding a lot of pain in, especially with his home life. Unapproachable, to say the least. Only has one or two friends at most but keeps everyone at arm's length. He’s, surprisingly, not the fighting type however I can see him getting into one fight if he saw a girl being bullied.
Shuichi - Him and Eisuke are constantly battling for top marks. Everytime one gets an A- the other mocks them for the entire week. Unlike Eisuke, Shuichi actually studies. Some could argue he doesn’t need too, but still does. His desk is always clean, and his notes are perfect. The teachers always entrust responsibilities to him. They even joke about having him as the principal when he’s older. Probably the type of kid that puts a lot of pressure on himself. That, and he just grew up having high expectations set on him. Doesn’t date. At all. He denies every girl that tries. Has been labeled as an “impossible catch”. Believes studies comes first and would break his concentration.
Ota - Ota is the popular kid. Everyone’s friends with him. He’s always hanging out with someone. One day it’s the drama club, the next it’s the art club. Did I mention the art teacher loves him? He doesn’t do the best academically, but his art teacher is so impressed, she offers to write a college recommendation letter. Again, everyone loves him. He’s the type of person a fight would break out over in the cafeteria, because everyone wants him at their table. Between him and Eisuke, the girls can’t decide who they want to date first.
Baba - Baba is the playboy all the girls warn each other about. At last, between his dashing smile and adoring personality, almost every girl has fallen for him once. People probably think he rides a motorcycle. He doesn’t, still, he gives off friends to lovers vibes. Despite his efforts, he always gets dumped due to his flirtatious nature. If anyone were to get pregnant during high school, the chances of him being the dad are 9/10. Quite responsible though. Takes accountability and helps his girlfriend through it. Supports her decision and promises to marry her, if that’s what she wants.
Mamoru - Mamoru is the kid who barely anyone knows. He sits next to you yet, if someone asked, you’d deny that he was in your class. He’s either not in class or sleeping/barely paying attention. They call him “Big Bromoru” because he acts like everyone’s big brother. “Shouldn’t you be doin your homework instead of talkin in the halls, eh?” Literally to random people in the hallway. Though, for some reason, it makes him admirable. No one dares say anything rude back, knowing they’d have the whole school as a target. He’s respected by all the kids there, even if he isn’t very noticeable.

‘why didn’t i say it a million times’ impressions
writing this after finishing the whole series, so i refer to things out of order. spoilers under the cut.
these are not all of my thoughts, just the most overarching ones. if you’re watching and want to dump your play by play reactions on someone who will get it, definitely hit me up! i have plenty of both criticism and appreciation for the show :)
~~~
i started watching for sato takeru (sttkr) and sttkr only. i am so glad netflix doesn’t allow screenshots anymore or else my phone’s memory would be in huge trouble lol he portrayed naoki so CUTELY!
matsuyama kenichi (matsunichi) is another huge fave of mine, and i was wondering why he accepted a non-lead role for this drama. between the two of them (sttkr and matsunichi), he is definitely the better choice for the role considering the possession power. i love sttkr and think he’s talented, but i don’t think he’s better than matsunichi for pulling that off.
that being said, the show runners completely /wasted/ him. he wasn’t possessed nearly often enough to show off his acting acumen, and the detective stuff was very rote and not quite action heavy either. i appreciate what he brought, but i feel bad for him.
that being said (x2), i loved every scene where he and sttkr were partnered. matsunichi moves his face so much, and sttkr seems to forget he has a face to move. the visual dichotomy is so deeply pleasing to me. i need them to act together again, and in something better! (also, i cannot BELIEVE naoki did not hug uozumi in the last episode! where is the gratitude he spoke so much about? lol)
this is my first time watching inoue mao act, and i was not impressed. she is suuuper cute, but i don’t think she had a lot of screen presence. is it the character, or is it her?
speaking of her character, no one can convince me yui is the main character. she may be the female lead and inoue mao may be at the top of the call sheet, but this is a story /about/ naoki. we meet his family, we understand his regrets, we watch the lengths he’s willing to go to and not go to where it concerns the one he loves. yui’s idealism is still storytelling, but the realism in naoki doesn’t just reveal more about his personality, it drives 50% of the emotional plot. (it is worth saying that the other 50% comes from uozumi’s reactions to naoki’s decisions. doesn’t leave a whole lot for yui!!!)
i’ve seen some reviews so far that say the script wasn’t good enough for the superstar leads, and i hard agree. no one said it yet, but i hope no one blames the ensemble cast for it. i loooved all of the secondary characters. song hayoung is my ultimate favourite, the elder uozumi is my second. 🤍🤍🤍 (i love when there’s korean language in my jdramas lol)
i get that the murder mystery plot is necessary with a premise like ‘main character is a ghost but doesn’t know how he died’, but wow i was not invested at all. i could tell eisuke was involved from that very first shot of the grape jellies. i also think his motivation for murder seemed weak? most people break friendships over a misunderstanding like that, they don’t /kill/ the other party omg. the romantic aspect of the show and everyone’s interpersonal relationships were far more compelling. i WOULD watch 50 minutes of unwitting polyamorous negotiations between the dead naoki, the smitten uozumi, and the oblivious yui.
i can’t enjoy episode 10 for what it is. i understand it’s an epilogue/SP of sorts, but the fact that they saved The Reason The Show Is Named What It Is for the final conversation instead of the climax conversation in episode 9 really devalues the watching experience. i disliked 9 while watching, and i disliked it even more once i understood the function of episode 10. honestly, most of 10 could have been a montage, and i’d have derived the same level of satisfaction
the last 40 seconds though, excellent. when you know he's gone and you're making peace with it at the same time yui is.............................. and then the whistle hits? i gasped. i wished there were no dialogue after that, but it was a good enough feeling that i rated it a 9/10 on mydramalist instead of the 8 i was gonna give it originally lol. ENDINGS MATTER!
speaking of which, i’ve noticed that jdramas lately are trending towards less bitter, more sweet endings. more definitive endings too. a lot of what drew me to jdramas was emotional heaviness, bittersweet quality, and open endings which kdramas and cdramas just weren’t providing me. i suspect that this is an appeal to global audiences, but i hope this is just temporary. i love payoff as much as the next person, but i also love thinking about the story long after it’s over. i’m getting less of that now, and i miss it
if you read to the end, thank you for your time! i hope you have a lovely day :)
#jdramas#100万回言えばよかった#hyakumankai ieba yokatta#i should have said it a million times#why didn't i tell you a million times#<-- why does this show have so many names lol#jaso*
I've never really had a problem with those types of otome game main characters that like, their entire personality consists of crying, being clumsy, and not knowing what's going on ever (like y'know, a lot of early Voltage MCs and other older mobile otoge) and even though the complaints many people have about them are very very very very valid, I think one of the reasons why I don't mind them at all is 'cause I always just imagine them like this the whole time while playing these games:
Like Katy Perry said: like a plastic bag. drifting through the wind
It adds a whole new dimension for me. The comedy of it all loops back around where I unironically start caring about our wobbly heroine more than anything else that's going on. She's just a blob, pray for her
#that might be eisuke. that might be eisuke.#i guess another reason is cause i have a habit of extrapolating entire characters from like nothing#i could tell you the differences between the personalities of early voltage game mcs. but would you want me to#also i watched a lot of harem anime when i was 10 for some reason#and lemme tell you. you dont know how bad it can get. you dont know how bad these blobby dudes can be#actually i do like a lot of main characters from those old harem animes too honestly#like yeah a lot of them were a bit useless. but they were also like. just a guy.#usually surrounded by hoards of magical women. what else are you supposed to do when u are a college student and ur gf is literally a god#i started rewatching ah my goddess recently. it was one of my favourite shows in elementary school and like honestly#its pretty decent. definitely one of the most chaste of these shows (although it has its noments lol) i can remember#its very cute too and all the characters are fun#love the fucking. earth spirit in keiichis sisters apartment. i literally forget about him until he shows up again#its so funny#impromptu ah my goddess review: its good shshfbsjzjfnfjcujfdkjfbf#at least the episodes ive seen so far its just kinda a nice but slightly dated romantic comedy~#what was i talking about. otome game mcs. i need to play some more otoges#oh i was thinking about this this morning but is collar x malice pronounced with the x or is it a hunter x hunter situation#i think the x has gotta be pronounced right? it feels right#yknow i haven't played it. i bought it licherally 3 years ago. on vita lol#my closest gamestop always had vita otoge and otoge in general super cheap which was great#(nobody else was buying em lol) hell last time i checked they still had a bunch marked way down#and they probably still do since like. nobody can browse their sketch vita shelf in the corner of the store rn#ouuuughhh when i can go to a gamestop again in like the year 2024 im gonna buy the shit out of whatever marked down otoge they got#the vita ones are marked down but so are all the other consoles like even the switch games. oh i want to play piofore and cafe enchante#ouuuuughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
The Guy I Like is Filthy Rich: Kissed By The Baddest Bidder- Eisuke Ichinomiya Review
The Guy I Like is Filthy Rich: Kissed By The Baddest Bidder- Eisuke Ichinomiya Review
Out of all of the available guys in this game, Eisuke Ichinomiya is by far my absolute favorite! He is literally the ultimate otome man, with his handsome face and deep pockets, he’s the total package… But, that’s not all there is to him, when you look beyond his good looks and money, Eisuke is one of the sweetest most compassionate men I have ever had the pleasure of romancing in an otome…
Indulgent Getaway: Eisuke
Review.
I read this a while ago and the screenshot has been sitting on my phone for a while so I might as well.
I really enjoyed this story. It was super cute and sweet. Eisuke is really sweet in this story and he and MC are pretty cute in it. Eisuke isn’t as overbearing or bossy as usual and he has a more relaxed, mature vibe to him. Eisuke should go on holidays more often lol.
I feel like the story is similar to another story that I’ve read before but I can’t remember which one.
I really like this story however, and I enjoyed reading it.
Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: Eisuke Ichinomiya Route Review [SPOILERS]
“I'll let you stay with me. You're the only woman who's ever stuck with me this long.”
Hello! If you like Eisuke, I recommend you stop reading now. Rant incoming. :)
Quick recap: Kissed by the Baddest Bidder is basically the edgy adult otome version of Ouran High School Host Club. In this universe, MC, a hotel maid, finds herself sold at a black market auction to a group of shady dudes who happen to run said black market auction, after she accidentally breaks an expensive vase. And in this particular route, Eisuke, the main dude in charge and asshole extraordinaire, decides that he’ll be the one to “own” MC: “I bought you, got it? So I can do whatever I want with you.” Charming.
After forcefully undressing and taking a look at MC’s chest like the classy and respectful man he is (he has some stupid excuse for it later in the route), Eisuke decides that MC will serve as his fake girlfriend. The goal: to ward off a mafia boss’ daughter politely, while simultaneously trying to forge an alliance with her father. Turns out all the women love Eisuke for some bizarre reason, even though he’s a total bastard with no redeeming qualities whatsoever (actually, it’s even scarier when the dude pretends to be nice in this route, not gonna lie...).
(that is the smile of a monster)
Eisuke insults the hell out of MC while giving her the obligatory makeover to become his fake girlfriend (“The worse something looks, the more fun it is to dress it up”). He also gives her a pager, and expects her to run when called within five minutes - one of his favorite hobbies is calling MC over when a text would’ve sufficed. Oh, and he kisses MC twice without her permission, under completely unromantic pretexts, to boot. Real winner, this guy. :/
One interesting thing we learn in Eisuke’s route is that the boys have a policy not to sell any woman who’s unwilling to be sold at the fancy black market auctions (in the route, a woman sells herself to escape her yakuza boyfriend and get “bought” by another love interest - I wonder what could possibly go wrong with that plan...). In any case, the whole thing really begs the question: why the fuck did Eisuke let MC get put up for auction in the first place?! Is it just because he’s a total douche canoe with too much time on his hands?? As the route goes on, we learn that Eisuke has some stupid tragic backstory about losing his parents and getting taken in by a rich zaibatsu family, and MC develops sympathy for the guy. Oh boo hoo...MC’s an idiot.
And here’s the absolute worst part of this route. Eisuke breaks his non-relationship with MC off abruptly towards the end of the route to protect her from an external threat (not that he tells her the reason, or anything, because communication is for plebes). And MC has this TOTAL FREAKING SWEETHEART of a coworker/manager?? who’s been steadily wooing MC for the entire route, who’s all willing to sweep in and is amazing, but nooo. MC’s developed Stockholm Syndrome in looove with Eisuke. Ughhh.
So when the external threat resolves itself, Eisuke returns to charm MC with his sweet nothings: “I can't promise anything. I'm going to keep doing what I want to do. And if MC ends up being hurt because of it... Well, she's the one who wants to be with me.” ...Fuck this guy. And not in the sexy way, either. He doesn’t even confess to MC in the end like a proper otome boyfriend (“Let's get to the point. Tell me how you feel”)! Asdkfjqofjqfidfs >(
Look. I’m not necessarily always against “problematic” otome boys. They can be fun. Case in point, Soryu, who freaking kills people for a living. Or IkeSen Kenshin, who’s so crazy he makes Jumin Han look sane, but is also kinda my favorite guy at the moment... <3. But besides being really really ridiculously good looking, there’s basically nothing positive about Eisuke. Maybe once in a blue moon he’s only mostly an asshole as opposed to totally 100% an asshole...? In short, imho Eisuke is one of the most infuriating characters I’ve ever encountered and I def. do not ship him and MC.
But if you’re still interested in his route and you haven’t read it yet, it’s free on Love365 until 7/9 11:59PM JST. Enjoy...? 😬
Choice quotes: “All you have to do is be quiet and attend to me.” “Will you be freed after the deal with Bucci succeeds, or will you disappear from the face of the earth? I can't wait to find out.” “If you go out with him, he'll keep pushing you around. Are you okay with that?" "Yes. I want to be with him.”
Personality: 0/10. I hate this guy. HATE.
Appearance: 9/10. Can’t fault Eisuke on his looks...
MC: 2/10. MC NO. ...Why didn’t you run away when you had the chance :(
Plot/Payoff: 6/10. A flaw: the side characters felt like cartoons - the mafia boss daughter in particular was super annoying. That said, the route was snappy and interesting in its own way, and I can understand why so many people love Eisuke. Things certainly aren’t boring around him.
Personal enjoyment: 5/10. You’d think I’d give this a 1 due to how horrible I think Eisuke is, wouldn’t you? Truth is, I at least enjoyed the process of hate reading this story. Haha.
Yes, please do a post after every Tsurune ep, reading them from your pov is amazing!! :D
Ask and ye shall receive. Here comes my opinion of episode 7. Really sorry for taking so long with this!
I usually begin with the positive points when doing these reviews, but I have to break this default here because I've never thought we'd come to this with KyoAni out of all studios. I almost fell off my chair with the horrible CGI in this episode. Yes, 3D and 2D walk hand-in-hand, especially for anime like Tsurune, but the viewers are not supposed to spot the 3D. I did mention before that the animation quality suddenly decreases at certain moments in this season, and this episode has been the worst example of that so far. This legit terrifies me and what makes it worse is that there are several causes for it. And again, this isn't just KyoAni. All Japanese animation studios have been seeing even if just a slight downgrade in overall quality for a few years now. We've just lost another one to this horrifying trend. I know it doesn't seem so bad and sounds like I'm exaggerating here, but this is unthinkable to the standards of such big-name studios. Unfortunately, the tendency is for it to continue, at least for now.
Another thing that bothered me is that this episode seems to be focused on long shots and showing the character's faces as least frequently as possible in order to mask the drop in quality. This is actually a commendable decision, since they're not just giving us static shots that feel a few seconds too lengthy, and instead are using these moments to explore the locations (gotta love that drawing of Kaito on the black board, for example). But it's hard to ignore the discrepancy in art style between said long shots and the contrasting close-ups.
Okay, enough about the animation and on to the story.
It's easy to tell from the first few minutes that KyoAni is still pushing Seiya as the MVP. Just as Seiya was the one who got Minato to realize where and how he had messed up in the tournament with the brilliant idea to record everything, and just as he was an indirect assistance to Kaito and Nanao making up not just by arranging for them to meet up at the dojo but also giving Kaito a prep talk, we have him being ahead of everyone once again in this episode. It's obvious from the beginning that, whatever the boys are trying to grasp here, he already has it all down and is just waiting for them to catch up to him. Yamamura Takuya might as well just make Seiya the protagonist at this point.
The whole deal here was about teamwork once again, but this time around, it was specifically about synchronization. Which, I must say, is one more thing that we should've had in S1 and are getting only now, therefore creating a disconnect between the level that this team should be and the level that it currently is. Just as I discussed in episode 6 that Minato shouldn't have to relearn everything from scratch because that's narratively inconsistent, the same applies to the way that the boys' team is relearning how to... well, be a team. They'd already been doing all of this for a while now, so it's kind of confusing to see them act like it's the first-ever time that they're trying it (not to mention it makes the viewers wonder how the hell they won the prefecturals when they can't even line up properly). Literally all of these movements and tips that they’re just figuring out are things they had been doing perfectly fine until this point and they wouldn’t even be able to participate in tournaments without knowing these basics in the first place. Yet suddenly they don’t. Make it make sense.
Another thing I'd like to make sense of is... why is Eisuke poor in the anime? I get that KyoAni is trying to sell him as someone Relatable TM, but that's going a bit overboard. He already has biological disadvantages (photosensibility), mental disadvantages (claustrophobia), club-related disadvantages (no dojo, no coach) and even spiritual disadvantages (wrong mindset being a bitch in general). There's already enough to sympathize without actually rooting for him. The scenes of Eisuke working hard at a café and having no money to hang out with his colleagues coming right in-between Ryouhei visiting Shuu's extravagant estate are kind of... not a very good look. Eisuke's situation in the anime sort of validate his envy. Makes it seem reasonable, and the only motive as to why it's not truly reasonable is because envy is Bad and you shouldn't harbor it even when the world is so ridiculously unfair. Miss me with that bullshit. I want this little shit to be the spoiled brat he is in canon. Life gave him lemons and he decided to take them and throw on other people. No amount of handicaps can redeem him from the pettiness of having lost to his juniors one (1) time.
All right, now following in this reverse order, we have the good points coming up!
I quite like that this episode showed a side of Masaki we hadn't gotten to see in S1, which is the pure-hearted, childlike elation he displays at his disciples fumbling for solutions and working together to solve problems. S1 was hellbent on the weird revenge stuff and kinda forgot that this guy genuinely loves to see his pupils making progress. The whole point of Masaki as a character is that he doesn’t see himself as the best fit for the job, but he actually is. Because he actually cares about these kids. Because he isn’t using them for revenge in canon. Because that doesn’t suit his personality at all in any possible way. And apparently, KyoAni at last understands that now, thank you very much.
One more thing that got butchered in S1 and this episode finally gave to us was Masaki's second nickname, "pervy old man". I gotta say I was particularly pleased by the fact that Minato's face and voice when he said it were exactly like how I'd imagined it when reading the books, but I'm still not digging the way that this was framed to make Masaki look like an actual pervert for the things he says without thinking. I get that the animators are trying to go for some lighthearted comic relief here, but underneath the joke, it's evident that they're also using these tidbits to poke fun at anything that seems remotely not-heterosexual in the series.
Sounds like another exaggeration, I know, but looking back at S1 and then at this episode, it's easy to find a pattern where Masaki either spouts a double entendre or is caught performing an action that doesn't seem appropriate, and when confronted by anyone about it, he responds in either a desperate or exasperated manner in order to clear up the misunderstanding immediately. These double entendres or actions always frame Masaki as preying on the boys, which is, of course, something that would never happen, so it's all played as a joke. The message this sends out is that the other person is totally overreacting, because Masaki would never make advances on his pupils, except this card is only ever used on the boys, specifically. So what we get between the lines is that making presumptions about Masaki's reckless word choice is ridiculous not just because he clearly isn't into kids, but also because that would be gay.
It's a simple recipe. We viewers are shown ambiguity on purpose and yet we're treated like we're reading too much into it if we so much as assume that it's ambiguous in the first place. Because if we assume it's ambiguous, we're also presuming the presence of homoerotic subtext, which is then shot down as something far-fetched, if not near-impossible. You know those scenes in movies where someone’s trying to connect the dots and comes up with overarching explanations as to how A relates to B, only to be dismissed by other characters telling them that they’re watching too much TV or something? That’s the vibe I get from this cheap-ass narrative device. It’s almost as if KyoAni is speaking directly to us, like, “I know this seems gay as fucking hell, but how dare you assume it's gay! You're implying that this perfectly decent man is a predator!”
Don't get me wrong, of course Masaki isn't actually suggesting or doing anything other than what he's supposed to. But what rubs me wrong about this approach is the fact that it gets gayness and p*dophilia lumped together. That's how KyoAni subtly rids this series of any unjustified gayness (i.e. gayness where you can't pay the "they're really good friends" card). And this is probably the clearest example of the difference between how the anime handles the gay subtext and how the novel does it. The anime makes it come from Masaki, in ways that are wholly unnatural, mostly through word usage that anyone with the bare minimum of common sense would never go for. It then makes the kids react negatively so that Masaki can brush off the delusions of these silly teenagers, because just how far ahead of themselves do they have to get to assume that their coach would want anything of the sort with them!
True enough, he would never want anything of that nature. The novel totally agrees with this. Except it doesn't laugh the gay away as a joke, oh no. The novel takes the gay very seriously. Which is why it gives the subtext from Minato's perspective.
Always from Minato's perspective.
Whenever we have anything coming from Masaki that looks or sounds like something else, it's from Minato's POV, 100% of the time. Not even other characters. Only Minato. And when it sounds like something else, it's usually Masaki being funny, but when it looks like something else, that's mostly Minato being confronted with something he wants that is directly related to Masaki, but that he can't have. Take the scene that this anime equivalent was based off as an example. Everybody (Seiya also tipped in) getting to have an exclusive lecture from Masaki, except for Minato. And there's great emphasis on the fact that everybody got to touch Masaki while Minato didn't. Plus the fact that even Shuu got to have his own share of it, despite him being from a whole different school. And Minato keeps sulking at how unfair all of that is, for days. He wanted to be there. Heck, he wanted to be the only one who gets this privilege. He has to hold it back and it gnaws at him. The pinning is real and it's never framed as negative, because it isn't.
When all is said and done, he manages to keep his ground. And in the end, he gets some sort of compensation for it, which always comes in the form of a private lesson and quality time. That's where he gets to have twice if not thrice as much of what he initially wanted. This is Ayano Kotoko working in accordance to Zen principles: you fight your inner demonds and desires, and for that, you get compensated with enlightenment. In Minato's case, he gets compensated both with that and... with Masaki. As far as plot devices go, that's just mandatory in the novel. It has both a character development and storytelling purpose and acts as a nod to Japanese archery and Buddhist ideologies, so removing that part is very much a disservice to the author’s intentions, but hey! KyoAni can’t pretend that it isn’t gay if it’s from Minato’s perspective. This would be just a kid having a puppy crush, which isn’t a crime and has no reason to be frowned upon if it’s unrequited. Ayano knows this and she makes conscious writing decisions based on that fact. So does KyoAni when reversing the positions.
Basically, KyoAni uses gay subtext in order to dismiss it in a total dick move. It's kind of their way of signaling, "Don't worry, snowflake audience who can't take anything that isn't cishet seriously, you can enjoy this show", and I find this kinda gross, to be honest. Meanwhile, the novel makes the subtext into the text itself, because Ayano Kotoko is powerful like that.
Anyway. I digress. Back to the good things.
The dedication to detail keeps delivering. I love the little things. The way Ryouhei goes back from school on a bus that is headed to a hospital. The knock on his door after he raises his voice that he knows is from his sister. The lush vegetation on the other side of the window looking like it's sprouting from Ryouhei when seen from behind. Shuu's reflex on the dojo's floor being tinted green. The way that a maple leaf falls on the pond and the ripples push away the other four leaves when Ryouhei starts talking about how far behind he is in comparison to everyone else in his team.
But I also love the big, in-your-face things. Ryouhei's shirt having no print except for the word "nice" in a small font next to his heart. Toujou serving cola in porcelain cups. Sae having the exact same reaction as Shuu when he drank it for the first time. The way that the light bulb lits up when Ryouhei talks about how Shuu's family is really supportive of him. The close-up on their wish slips.
My favorite has to be that fucking arrow casting a shadow over Ryouhei and Shuu. Second favorite those paper stripes. All of them represent not just the Kazemai boys' team, but also the girls' team, Masaki, Tomio, Shuu, Sae, Eisuke, Koushirou and even Minato's mom. I dare guess that one of them also represents Ryouhei's sister.
Honorable mention to the most obvious visual symbolism of this episode: the paintings. They sure were used a lot this time around. The painting in Shuu's study and the way his head fits perfectly under the crown in the center. When Eisuke is coarsed into hanging out with Koushirou after work, there's a painting of a grey dog being patted on the head beside him. When Shuu finally asks how Ryouhei and Sae knew each other, we see a painting of opening doors behind him. And goddamn. Goddamn. The way that the rest of the painting is revealed in the next scene. And the way the little boy looks like it's running from Shuu to Ryouhei. Fucking hell, what a good addition. If only KyoAni would put as much effort into the plot as it puts into this.
Also, other than paintings, there was that hilarious coca cola poster behind Eisuke when he's meeting up with Koushirou. For those who couldn't read it, it says, "Beginnings taste good. Peak youth", and that's a referrence to what the characters are going through right now. We're onto a new phase and that's youth at it's max.
Speaking of coca cola, anyone else feeling like KyoAni's going a little overboard with the marketing? First it was the kyudo tools, which I don't really mind, but then the accessories and now this. It's one thing to promote culture and small businesses that keep it alive, but coca cola.......... was kind of annoying. Even more so when there are already so many shows that are basically just one big ad nowadays.
KBTBB Jealousy Lingerie ~Ichinomiya Eisuke~
Jealousy Lingerie ~A Thoughtless Love Affair Night For Him~ Ichinomiya Eisuke
Without being able to spend some couple time with Eisuke due to his busy schedule, the lonely you yearned to see Eisuke... or so you had thought, as you wake up on an unfamiliar bed!
“It was just for a week, and you couldn’t even stay at home... you still call yourself my woman?”
You received a present from a jealous Eisuke.♡ Moreover, the highly popular ‘His POV for Playing With Something Dangerous’ has been restored! To read or not to read... it’s all up to you.♡
Review:
This was one interesting piece of work. I can't comment much about the change in Eisuke that we see in this side story because I have only played up till Chapter 1 including His POV. What I can definitely say is that Eisuke is definitely in too deep towards the MC.
Imagine the woman whom you are to be wedded to pushes you away from your advances while clearly exuding the aura of 'I am hiding things from ya' when you finally get to see her after many days of zero communication. And now throw Eisuke into the picture. Yep, that's it.
Although Eisuke was suspicious and dying to know the truth, he didn't corner the MC and force her to spill it out. He didn't do anything that we all know he could, but he didn't. Instead, he chose to be some FBI agent and get to the truth himself after laying the trap. Right after the truth was revealed, he was so cute about how to ensure the MC doesn't make the same mistake ever again.
I would still highly recommend the Love Hotel story for Eisuke. I think that is the most memorable side story for me. And I had no regrets purchasing it. <3 But feel free to give this one a try too, for anxious Eisuke lol.
PS: For this time, I just so happened to have the feel of typing out while reading the story. I’m putting them in the same post as my short review. But... I won’t finish all the chapters. Then again, I believe Voltage will release the English version very soon lol...
Read on for spoiler review and translation of some parts.
WARNING: SUPER LONG POST + IMAGE HEAVY (kinda)
SPOILER:
To everyone who got excited from the title, I understand you. But I've learned to not trust what Voltage puts up in the description because it's not 100% true to the plot. Or, so I thought that some steamy scenes are going to happen after knowing the MC spent the night in another man's room just because she got too wasted while he wasn't around.
Although there weren't many scenes of them doing their usual adult exercises... we can clearly see how Eisuke gets anxious and annoyed in his own way. He was definitely livid and shocked when he got to know that the MC's weird behavior had something to do with Soryu. I especially like how the two followers of Soryu got caught by Eisuke to spill the beans. That was so cute, to be honest. They just spilled everything they know to Eisuke, up and go, like a hurricane that does damage and leave as it pleases. Of course, they apologized to Soryu profusely and left right after lol.
Now, I understand what did Voltage meant by “To read or not to read, it's up to you.” Because in His POV, Voltage made Soryu have an interest in the MC, which Soryu tried to get closer to the MC (literally, like you know, kabedon her and tried to kiss her) in order to make that weird feeling in his chest understood. He couldn't understand how Eisuke could fall in love with someone as plain as the MC. Eisuke caught Soryu and the MC in that position. Soryu backed off naturally.
Then we got to know that he actually thought it was quite out of him to think of using the women earrings that were prepared for his work as an excuse to get away from the mess (kabedon and attempt kiss) that he got himself into. The MC took the wrong earrings on the dressing table and fled after seeing Soryu in the bathroom that morning. He used this reason to excuse himself for getting close to the MC in that manner.
In the first place, this whole mess started because the MC got wasted, but also Soryu's policy.... lmao.
Soryu: ‘There’s no way to step into Eisuke’s room in his absence... is there nowhere else to return her to?’
And he was confused as to why the MC intrigues him.
Soryu: ‘Why is it that, this woman piques my interest this much?’
In the end... too bad for Soryu. Because this is Eisuke’s story so.... not today, bro~ ;P
Episode 1
It’s been 4 days since Eisuke went abroad for business matters. He would only be back in 3 days. Apparently, he went to a place with no reception, so there weren’t any calls made or texts exchanged. The MC was feeling lonely without Eisuke’s presence.
Baba who heard the MC sigh teased her. Also, because the back view of the MC looked really lonely to Baba. “So that’s why you have a face that says ‘I’m lacking Eisuke’ huh.” The MC being honest asked “...was it that obvious from my expression?” And Baba being himself, replied “It’s because you’re so easy to read. Don’t worry, Baba-san loves this aspect of you.”
Baba: “The leader went to a secluded region for a preliminary inspection of the new plan right?”
MC: “I’m not sure if it’s some secluded place, but the phone calls and mails cannot be received and sent.”
Baba: “So that’s why you had the ‘I lack Eisuke’ expression on you.”
Baba invited the MC to have a meal with the rest of the guys, the reason being that when one is alone, he/she feels lonely the most when having a meal alone. So it’s best to eat with people when feeling lonely. And the best way to cheer yourself up is to eat good food. In the end, they had a mini party at the hotel hall on that night.
During the mini party, the usual guys gathered without her knowing, or it could just be Baba who called out to everyone.
Ota: “It feels fresh to have a party without Eisuke-san”
Ota mentioned that it feels quite fresh to attend a party without Eisuke. Luke, however, disagreed by saying that it’s lonely without Eisuke. Soryu questioned it. Luke double confirms and threw the question to the MC. The MC could only agree. No doubt. Eventually, they decided to enjoy as much as they can and toasted.
Hishikura: “Can you guys stop it, making such a gloomy face especially during mealtime?”
Hishikura: “To me this is a comfortable space.”
Baba: “Well, well, those who feel lonely and those who feel relieved in the absence of the leader, it’s all the same.”
The MC took a liking to the alcohol that she kind of drank too much despite Soryu warning her not to. Ota added, “Isn’t it fine if she over drinks once in a while? When Eisuke was around, he would order you here and there, right? So when you’re alone, why don’t you just let yourself go?” Baba agreed and said it’s also important to let yourself loose. The MC took their advice.
Soryu being the smart one, told the MC to go at her own pace and that it’s not something that outsiders can comment about. Baba then countered by saying that Soryu who’s like that should also let himself loose once in a while. Ota agreed and joked that having his hair swept to the back too much will result in being bald. Lmao Soryu was like “Just leave me alone.” Watching their interaction was entertaining for the MC and that she had lost count of the number of glasses she had that night.
Baba: “Come to think of it Sou-chan too, isn’t it better for you to act without restraint once in a while~?”
Ota: “I agree. You’ll get bald for having an all-back hairstyle too much.”
Soryu: “...leave me alone”
Fast forward. The next morning, the MC woke up to find herself on a bed. She had a bad case of a hangover, all because the apricot alcohol was so tasty that she drank too much. As she presses on her temples on an attempt to soothe a headache, she sat up and realized something was amiss in the room that she just woke up in.
MC: This... isn’t Eisuke’s penthouse!
Well, we all know whose room this belongs to. ;)
The MC started to look around the room anxiously while trying to figure out which room was it. That’s when she finally looked down to get a shock out of her life. She was clad in only her underwear. Her clothes were left on the floor by the bed. The MC hurriedly got down from the bed to put on her clothes. She heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom. She was afraid to find out who was in the bathroom, but there was no way she’s not going to find out. Hesitantly, she opened the bathroom door to find... SORYU!!!!
Panicked, the MC’s mind short circuited and fled from the room at once at the sight of Soryu.
“It can’t be... Soryu and I? But, I had my underwear on...” There wasn’t anything off about her body, but the MC understood that just by looking at the situation there’s no ruling out that the mistake didn’t happen. The only way to understand the whole situation was to ask Soryu directly but... “Did anything happen? I just can’t ask that! I was told that it’s good to let myself loose but, this can’t be happening...” She realized that she’s totally in deep trouble and clutched her head. That’s when her phone rang. Oh no. A call from Eisuke telling her that he would be back right away.
The MC asked, “Won’t you be back the day after tomorrow...” Eisuke replied, “There are some changes to the schedule. I’ll reach in about 30 minutes. Wait for me at the penthouse.” HAHAHAHAHAHAHA omg this was so interesting I can’t.
The MC thought, ‘Up till yesterday, I would have been so elated to know this.’ Now, she’s just in too deep that she had no idea how to answer for that mistake. Eventually, what actually happened last night was still left unresolved... while Eisuke had already returned.
“W-welcome back. Did your work finish earlier?”
Eisuke: “Just some changes to the schedule. I’ll be setting off again the day after.”
Eisuke asked the MC if she felt bored without him around as he guided her towards him by the waist when she brought his favorite coffee over to him. ‘I don’t remember taking any shower, but it would be bad if there’s any soap scent that’s different from the usual coming from me.’ Being this close to Eisuke, she flinched back slightly as she recalled what happened last night.
Eisuke noticed but chose to observe her first. Like this:
“Eh... rather than being bored I was really lonely. We couldn’t get in contact at all this time round so...” And Eisuke in all seriousness said...
Eisuke: “It was a right thing to return.”
Eisuke: “Since it’s you, there’s no way you could’ve been able to withstand that long.”
Eisuke: “I’ll satisfy you now.”
And then they kissed. Eisuke pushed her onto the sofa and just when his long slender fingers reached her clothes... the MC felt that even though she wasn’t sure if anything happened last night, it didn’t feel right to let Eisuke have her in this manner... So, the MC pushed Eisuke away with all her might.
“W-wait a minute!”
“What is it?”
“I have work today! I need to go now... I’m sorry!”
She couldn’t meet his gaze. She felt that if she looked into his eyes, she wouldn’t be able to move based on her experience and knowledge. The MC got herself up from underneath Eisuke without looking into his eyes.
“Please have a good rest Eisuke-san! We can continue this tonight...”
Just when she was about to leave without looking at him...
“Did you forget?”
“Eh?”
The MC felt a strong grip on her wrist and before she knew it, she was being pulled back by a strong force. This time around, Eisuke pinned her down as though he wasn’t giving her any chance to escape.
“Your answer can only be ‘Hai’ or ‘Yes’.”
The MC was frozen in fear from the silent fury that was held in his cold looking eyes.
Just look at this I-don’t-give-a-shit face lololol.
Episode 2
(Rejoice! It’s Eisuke’s POV from hereon.)
Right after progressing with the work at the outback of South America for the sake of the new business. Due to the sudden changes in the other party’s schedule, there were only 2 days of free time being made.
“I could go to the nearby hotel to stay for the moment but...”
The business trip this time is a place where the infrastructure equipment isn’t that well-developed, so the communication can’t be done with the MC. There shouldn’t be a problem if I go back to the hotel, but just in case I’ve decided to return.
MC: “W-welcome back. Did your work finish earlier?”
“Just some changes to the schedule. I’ll be setting off again the day after.”
MC: “I see. Good work.”
When I look at her, her gaze waivers.
Eisuke: She’s acting differently from the usual. Did something happen?
As I hug her close to me when she brings over the coffee, her hand rested on my shoulder and leaned backward. This is something that she normally will never do which confirms my thought of before that something must be up.
MC: “Eh... rather than being bored I was really lonely. We couldn’t get in contact at all this time round so...”
She replies while her gaze never meets mine, gently pushing me away and got away from underneath me. This can’t be called as an act of rejection, but it is something that definitely can’t be pardoned.
Eisuke: ‘For her to run away from me...’
I reached out and grabbed her by the wrist. This was done with a strong force without much awareness.
“Your answer can only be ‘Hai’ or ‘Yes’.”
Her eyes widened, with shame and bewilderment swimming in her eyes.
Eisuke: ‘Does she truly not want to be held by me?’
My grip tightened as though to suppress the rising irritation.
“Answer me.”
MC: “Like I said, I have work...”
Eisuke: “Do you want me to educate you again from scratch?”
In order to prevent her shifty gaze from getting away, I held her chin. Fixing my gaze on her with proximity, I could see her lips trembling as her breaths were short and quick.
Eisuke: ‘During those times when I kept her by my side... she used to make this kind of expression.’
He dropped a line saying that enough of running away, and he doesn’t care about it anymore, just enjoy the ahem for now. So they did it. And from that, Eisuke confirmed that the MC didn’t sleep with anyone that night. Next, he went to find out the truth and...... eventually presented the MC a set of lingerie a few days after the incident when he finally came back from the work in overseas.
The MC found the lingerie to be too skimpy for her to feel decent. When she told him her thoughts, he was like “What? Are you unhappy with the gift that I've brought back for you?” Unbeknownst to her, this was actually Eisuke's ploy to prevent the incident from happening again. Reason being, if the MC wears such a skimpy lingerie, she would be more cautious of how she lands herself in the situation where someone other than him sees her in that lingerie. SO CUTE RIGHT! That smirk he had on his face when he thought of that. <3
Crush (songfic)
Eisuke Ichinomiya
Crush - Tessa Violet
»»»»
I can't focus on what needs to get done
I'm on notice hoping that you don't run, ah
Eisuke couldn’t stop thinking about the ridiculous but adorable grin on her face. The man in front of him, a business partner, presenting a partnership deal which went right over Eisuke’s head. His mind fixated on one person in particular.
You think I'm tepid but I'm misdiagnosed
'Cause I'm a stalker I seen all of your posts, ah-ah
What a strange woman
She wasn’t afraid of him as he kept his cold demeanour. Her constantly changing expressions, he found them rather intriguing.
And I'm just tryna play it cool now
But that's not what I wanna do now
And I'm not tryna be with you now, you now
Jealous. He felt jealous when she laughed at one of Baba’s weird jokes or when she got close to other auction managers but of course, Eisuke couldn’t quite put his finger on this foreign emotion.
But I could be your crush, like
Throw you for a rush, like
Hoping you'd text me so I could tell you
I been thinking 'bout your touch like
he’s never felt like this before
Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch
I could be your crush, crush, crush, crush, crush
He scoffed at his own antics, thinking about the time he gave her that gorgeous platinum ring that fit perfectly on her slender fingers, like it was made just for her.
I got a fascination with your presentation
Making me feel like you're on my island
You're my permanent vacation
Eisuke found himself thinking more and more about a certain maid.
Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch
I could be your crush, crush, crush, crush, crush
And when he did, he smiled despite himself, oblivious to the fact that he was falling.
I fill my calendar with stuff I can do
Maybe if I'm busy it could keep me from you
She was like a breath of fresh air in his boring and vile life.
And I'm pretending you ain't been on my mind
But I took an interest in the things that you like, ah-ahh
Eisuke would page her to see her angelic face under the excuse of coffee, the auction managers aware of his acts.
And I'm just tryna play it cool now
But that's not what I wanna do now
And I'm not tryna be with you now, you now
Why did he want to absolutely devour her when he saw her in the dresses he specifically chose for her?
But I could be your crush, like
Throw you for a rush, like
Hoping you'd text me so I could tell you
I been thinking 'bout your touch like
Why did Eisuke Ichinomiya’s heart palpitate at the sight of her?
Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch
I could be your crush, crush, crush, crush, crush
Eisuke Ichinomiya, a successful businessman, at the top of the world, exceptionally good looking and talented. He could have any woman, most of them throwing themselves at him, then why did he only want the female he bought at his black market auction for 20 Million Dollars?
I got a fascination with your presentation
Making me feel like you're on my island
You're my permanent vacation
“That’d be all. Do you agree with these terms Mr. Ichinomiya?” The man, Ishiguro Kirishima, asked as he collected the papers and the contract. Eisuke snaped out of his thoughts at his voice, slightly embarrassed that he was distracted by the thoughts of her throughout the meeting.
Touch, touch, touch, touch, touch
I could be your crush, crush, crush, crush, crush
“I’ll review it first.” Eisuke said grabbing a pen with the Ichinomiya group logo on it.
What are you doing to me, woman
