Eight Oglok, of the venerable Oglok clan, is a goblin, a middle child from a lot of siblings (after the fourth or fifth kid, their mom just shrugged and picked a number) who left their little farm community in search of Magic. They're not super sure what that entails, they just know that all the stories they love to hear involve it and they are enchanted and determined to find some. They've reached the big city, and found the Genie Mistress, head of the Silver Linings mercenary guild. She grants requests in return for working for her in various ways, and has gotten Eight apprenticed as an artificer under a surly dwarf named Bodrake. They are suited for the work and really settling in, even if they don't understand the connection to them asking for a magic spell. They are a mean shot with their slingshot (having lots of siblings will help with that) and will cheerfully talk to you forever about different types of hinges and their uses. They have almost no concept of personal space and are eager to please and stand out for their skills. They always have stuff in their pockets and probably cast magic stone on them. They may not have a tragic backstory, but they're doing their best!

the campaign is called Silverlinings, a 13 PC campaign for my and my buddies, we barely ran many sessions yet due to having to split everyone up! however the ones we did finish are quite fun :3 It's set in Wildmount (I'm building on top of matt mercer's book), and the basic set up is that everyone works for a mercenary company called the Silverlinings. Can't say too much for now! (cuz there ain't much yet lol) but I do love my PCs a lot. hehe

I just want to give a shout-out to everyone who's been participating in this so far, everyone has been so cool and having fun with their matchups regardless of the outcomes and just been super good sports all around. This is how you have a character poll! <3

Yeah, absolutely! There's been no character bashing or anything like that, and everyone who hasn't gone on has been gracious about it. It's been great seeing everyone's funky little guys, and I've really been enjoying all the propaganda as well!
