Like why is this man so good at fucking just taking the limits with his body??

Before, that trait was praised when he was at his happiest, and when you saw him nearly passed out from overnighters, you know it was him just laser focusing on a massive project that will lag the server. You would just go “Oh Tubbo! Silly Tubbo not paying attention to health! Lmao.”

But now, that trait that was praised and mocked is turning out to be his noose. A trait that once could’ve turned nations is now killing him ever so slowly like a wither rose. While it’s never something obvious, like taking a knife to his heart, it’s the little things like not putting the effort into catching himself on time.

Not putting to much effort into taking out his paraglider, not showering for days on end, wearing shitty armor under the guise of using the best for his daughter, taking any chance to work on a machine or factory so long as he’s put to use. And sometimes it’s even more obvious, like how when he forgets he can feel emotion and stabs himself multiple times on a stalagmite to feel anything.

Sunny, he’s only purpose now, is really the only thing keeping him from crossing that final line. Because, their his and he’d be damned if he doesn’t give that girl the most amazing things he has to offer. Shame, that from how Sunny sees it, Tubbo doesn’t include himself on that list.

With that, like the flower in his hands, he is wilting. The sun isn’t the only thing a flower needs, but now, who’s going to come and save him?

I was saving this ask to make a little comic of how that last chapter felt but- lets say it didn't turn out how i wanted. Instead, i just dug out some of my old Maid-chan drawings and stared at them blankly for the next days.

I'm still particularly fixed on this one little page:

Mister Green was my absolute favorite and the only light i saw at the end of her tunnel. He was so kind and sweet, and pretty much the only one that treated her like a person (besides Yellow of course). When i first read this fic so many years ago i didn't trully realized the dark tone of this story but i still chose the only "healthy" option. I wanted MC to be happy and free, and oh how i wanted him to give her that. I held those drawings of him for years imagining a chapter where they would encounter again and that would drive her to a better ending (either skeletons overcoming their issues and treating her with respect or him taking her away).

But then this final chapter appeared and it was... a thing.

(Kinda spoilers for the babes that haven't read it)

First of all, I FINALLY GOT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED AFTER BEACH CHAPTERS OMG I NEEDED THAT

Second of all, it didn't look good at all and it was getting worse as I read. But then good because it was a week alone for her to rest and Sans was eating with her?? But also that whole scene reminded me how bad her situation really was so it actually wasn't good at all.

And then the scene that broke me.

I was aware that I wanted her to flee before, but I never thought she could.

It was oddly satisfying, if not a bit anxiety inducing because of the thought that they would caught her eventually. As always.

But then Asgore, and Orange. And nothing...

I got mad that he found her. Which was a weird feeling since I remember liking him a lot. It felt to me like he ruined her good enough ending. But despite that, it makes sense it was him so I don't complain.

What crushed me though, wasn't that she couldn't say goodbye or that Sans got tired of trying to get her back. It was the fact the Gs didn't even try looking for her. They didn't even got mentioned. What happened there, I wonder. Didn't they like her? Care for her? Mister Green wrote her letters, of course he liked her. But then why...?

Suddenly he looked like a fairytale.

The ending was great, finally lending her the ability to choose. It made absolutely everything worth it and the way it was written made me feel like I do have a say in the matter. And for the first time, i didn't choose the skeletons.

I realized she could find her happy ending alone.

The other doesn’t answer, he doesn’t have to, it’s obvious; there’s the smell of a crisp breeze and morning dew radiating off of Liam; Sherlock twists around fully now. One hand presses firmly to Liam’s right cheek, lets the cold seep away into his palm. Meanwhile the touch to the other side of Liam’s face is delicate, feather-light, skimming just below the bandages while his gaze follows along to confirm the white fabric is still neatly tucked in place from helping to change them hours before.

This close, he can feel the warmth of Liam’s breath against his lips with every exhale; he searches that single red eye that stares back at him, unfaltering, yet molten with a tenderness he has yet a name for.

Sherlock leans in closer. Ah, his nose is still so cold—

“Not burnt.”

“What—“

“Not burnt,” Liam repeats, words brushing into Sherlock’s lips, “The eggs. Any way is fine, just not burnt.” A pointed nudge to his elbow to bring his attention at the stove.

“Gah!” Sherlock whips back around and flips the eggs out of the pan onto a plate before they brown any further.

The laugh and the smile pressed to the back of his neck is worth it, he’ll eat burnt eggs happily every morning in exchange for that.

A darkskin girl couldn’t even dress up as a princess for her 5th birthday without non black men(Arabs, Indians, Hispanics, etc) being bums in the comments and calling her racial slurs because she wanted to dress up as a princess.
