The walk had started out so normal, same path as always. But this time, strangely, something had changed. Once a single archway had been passed through, the air grew bitter cold and moist with fog, and there would come a strange vertigo feeling. But other than that, there had been next to no indication of anything changing. Suddenly where he had been was now somewhere else.

Lucky for the lost doctor, there were usual patrols around these archways since their discovery in more recent years. And at that particular moment, they were being watched by the one who decided those patrols. Perched high above in the trees, pale fur blending into the fog, was a huge, multi-eyed creature.

For the moment though, it just watched the newcomer curiously.

Jackie found himself idly drinking at a bar on the other side of the Pride ring as he had been pleasantly surprised by Charlie calling it in at only half a day. This left him with lots of free time and anywhere this side of Hell to go! He had spent a good couple of hours wandering here and there before deciding to take a break in the bar he currently was seated at.

He held a wine glass in his left hand, gently swirling the red liquid with a small pink straw. He had merely been sipping at it, watching as demons went about their business. if he got lucky, he might see a familiar face or two in the crowd if he looked hard enough. Suddenly, there's movement off to his left side, causing him to jump. "Ahhh w-what the hell dude?" Jackie frowns as he steadies himself enough to get a clearer look at the stranger's face. Ah, they're drunk. "You uh, you need something?" Jackie takes a step away from him, anxiety rising at the sudden bombardment.
