gale has a blue μάτι (evil eye) embroidered by his mother on the left sleeve of his robe. when he was a baby, he was gifted a gold bracelet with a simple μάτι in white enamel by his godfather. it’s traditional for the godparents to buy a μάτι baby bracelet for their godchild and it must always be worn on your left wrist. it’s not to be taken off, and if it breaks it means it protected you from ill intent and must be replaced. the μάτι wards off all evil and must be a gift bought by someone else. the reasoning for this is the μάτι is imbued with the good energy and love of the giver (this goes for all jewelry too) and therefore cannot be acquired by you, as is also tradition for any μάτι one purchases or acquires. his baby bracelet no longer fits him, and he’s never acquired an ‘adult’ μάτι, as he hasn’t yet found the perfect one that’s caught his eye.
all the trouble and crisis and mystra took him away from the possibility of such a mundanity, the simple promise of an imperative touch of memory, self. he wants his mother to buy him his adult μάτι, the one he will always wear on his left wrist. she embroidered the one in his robe. when he can, when it’s right, he wants to find her one fitting of one so spectacular as herself to craft for her. by his own hands or the meticulous hands of another, any mastery will do, but the beauty must be immaculate. perhaps an enchantment.
he still has his baby bracelet, which he cherishes as it has never broken. gale often makes sure to keep it tucked away on his person (always in the left pocket of a rucksack, always in the left inseam of his robe). he keeps it close, as its enchantment is all its own. he thinks of it as a talisman, a shield, as a boon to his courage; the strength of his family and all that came before them remembered in a trinket.

an art page from awhile ago with some lesbians
i always wondered why i could only draw at certain times but now i think it’s due to my did. at times i will only be able to draw from muscle memory alone, my art looks stiff and off proportion. but then when i’m caspar my art tends to be more fluid and creative. i’ve always expressed myself through art. i stopped drawing in fear my mom would find my gay drawings. but i’m free now, i can draw as many boobs as i desire.

there's owls in our neighborhood
I heard one at night last week
and then last night me and my partner heard several, hooting away, like they were calling to one another
one was very close, we could tell it was basically across the street (our house backs up to a major road), and then we saw it fly from one light pole to another
I looked up what kinds of owls live in this city and what they sound like, and it looks to be a great horned owl O-O;

The war for Wano is over.
Kaido has fallen. Orochi is dead. The Beasts Pirates have been crushed.
And yet, despite the celebrations, the laughter, and the cries of victory in the Flower Capital, you stand apart alone, as you’re used to.
The battlefield still writhes with shadows. Black, eerie figures kneel at your feet, remnants of those you’ve slain, now bound to your will.
Your power grants you dominion over the dead. Every opponent you cut down becomes yours, their shadows shackled to you in eternal servitude.
Some call you a monster. Others call you a deity of war. Either way, they fear you.
And that’s why the three most dangerous men alive are now fighting over you.
“Oi! There you are!”
Luffy’s voice rings across the ruined battlefield, his footsteps loud as he runs up to you. His grin is as bright as ever, completely unaffected by the haunting army of shadows still lurking behind you.
“That was so cool!” he says, eyes practically sparkling “You should totally join my crew!”
You blink “What?”
“You’re strong! And awesome! And you’d love the Sunny!” Luffy laughs “I bet you and Zoro would get along!”
You tilt your head. He’s serious.
Before you can answer...
“Tch. Move it, Straw Hat.”
Boots stomp onto the cracked ground. Kid.
His crimson eyes burn with something like admiration but it’s buried beneath his usual arrogance.
“You’re not actually considering that dumbass, are you?” He folds his arms, metal arm gleaming under the moonlight “You belong with a real crew… mine.”
You smirk “You mean a ship full of lunatics?”
Kid’s grin widens “Exactly, you’re obviously one of us.”
Before you can respond—
“You two never shut up.”
The voice is calm, sharp. Surgical.
Law steps forward, hands in his coat pockets, golden eyes locked onto you. Unlike the others, he doesn’t demand or taunt.
He simply says “You’re not looking for chaos. You’re not looking for a crew of idiots fighting over scraps. You’re looking for something bigger.” His gaze sharpens “Join me, and I’ll give you exactly that.”
The air tightens. The unspoken challenge crackles like thunder.
Luffy’s grin never fades “I’m not losing to either of you.”
Kid scoffs “Like hell you aren’t.”
Law just smirks “We’ll see.”
You exhale. They’re serious.
Three captains. Three paths.
You sigh, crossing your arms as you watch Luffy, Kid, and Law glare at each other, their presence crackling like lightning in the air.
“You guys do realize,” you deadpan, “that I never said I was joining any of you? You all know I’m a lonely pirate and somehow I already have my crew…”
Luffy ignores you “They’re all shadows… Join my crew, Y/N!” he says, grinning ear to ear “We’re all super strong! And we have a cook who makes the best food ever!”
Kid scoffs “You think food is what’s gonna convince them, Straw Hat?” He turns to you, crimson eyes gleaming “You’re wasted with these idiots. With me, you’d have the strongest crew on the seas. No one could touch us. And admit it, your powers fit us.”
Law sighs, rubbing his temple like he’s already exhausted by both of them “You two are insufferable.” He looks at you, his golden eyes sharp and calculating “You don’t need chaos. You don’t need a circus act. You need something real. Join me, and I’ll give you exactly that.”
You blink at them. They’re serious.
You already knew that Luffy was stubborn as hell, Kid was relentless, and Law was dangerous in the quietest ways, but you didn’t think they’d actually fight over you.
Your silence seems to fuel the fire.
“What can you even offer them, Trafalgar?” Kid sneers, cracking his knuckles “A crew full of weaklings?”
“I have a submarine” Law says coolly.
Luffy pauses “…That’s actually kind of cool. But the Sunny is way cooler! And we have the best musician ever! Do you guys even have music on your ships?”
You exhale through your nose “You guys do realize you’re treating me like a damn prize, right?”
Luffy blinks “Huh?”
Law sighs “That’s not what this is.”
Kid smirks “I mean, it kinda is.”
The ground shakes as your shadows shift, the weight of your power pressing down on the air “You’re acting like I’m just gonna follow one of you like a lost puppy.”
Kid grins “Wouldn’t say no to that.”
Before you can reply, a new voice cuts in.
“Oi! What the hell is going on here? We thought you were killing each other.”
You glance over to see Zoro, Killer, and Bepo approaching, the rest of their respective crews trailing behind them. Nami, Sanji, and Usopp are already watching from a distance, curiosity burning in their eyes. Heat and Wire stand near Killer, arms crossed. Shachi and Penguin exchange glances, whispering to each other.
It’s clear that the entire alliance has noticed the brewing tension.
“What is this, some kind of territory dispute?” Zoro grumbles, adjusting his swords.
“Oh, it’s worse,” Sanji says, lighting a cigarette “They’re fighting over y/n.”
Zoro pauses “Wait, seriously?”
“Seems like” Nami confirms.
Bepo looks at Law, confused “Captain, what’s happening?”
“Nothing” Law says flatly.
Killer sighs “Eustass-ya, this is ridiculous.”
Kid waves him off “Shut up, Killer. I’m working.”
“Working?” You narrow your eyes.
Kid shrugs, smirking “I like collecting powerful things.”
Luffy snorts “Well, I like collecting friends!”
Law rubs his temples again, clearly regretting everything.
Sanji exhales a plume of smoke “Well, well. What an interesting little mess.” as he eyes you with a smirk.
Your shadows ripple violently.
“Absolutely not.”
The temperature seems to drop as your aura expands. Even the wind seems to hold its breath.
The crews tense. They’ve seen you fight. They’ve seen the horrors your power can unleash.
Kid whistles, impressed “Damn. I like that.”
Luffy grins, unfazed “Your powers are so cool!”
Law watches you closely. Too closely. His golden eyes see more than you want him to.
You exhale “I don’t take orders from anyone. Not you. Not the World Government. Not anyone.”
Kid smirks “Then what do you want?”
You hesitate.
Because the truth is that you don’t know.
Luffy steps closer, eyes bright with something honest “You wanna see the world with us?”
Kid leans in, voice dropping into something dangerous “Or do you wanna rule it?”
Law, ever the strategist, doesn’t ask. He just looks at you and says “You’re searching for something. I can help you find it.”
The weight of their offers settles over you like a storm.
And for the first time in a long time you feel something real.
Luffy’s grin softens “You’d be awesome on the Sunny!”
Kid scoffs “Or you could actually be on a ship worthy of your strength.”
Law sighs, tilting his head slightly “You’re both exhausting.” But his eyes flick back to you, and for a second you see something intense.
They’re not letting this go.
“Yeesh, are they flirting or fighting?” Nami mutters.
Usopp stares “I… honestly can’t tell.”
Killer just sighs “Both.”
Heat nudges Wire “Should we start taking bets?”
Sanji exhales, watching you closely “Lucky bastards.”
You ignore them all, looking at the three captains in front of you. You’re not stupid, you know this isn’t just about power anymore.
It’s about you.
Kid steps closer, voice dropping just for you “You’re different.” His crimson eyes glint with something hungry “You’re not scared of me. You’re not scared of anything, are you?”
You smirk “Should I be?”
His grin stretches wider “I’d like to see you try.”
Luffy, still smiling, grabs your wrist. His fingers are warm, rough from battle and adventure, but there’s nothing forceful in the way he holds you. It’s just excited, unfiltered emotion.
“You’d have so much fun with us, y/n!” He leans in, voice almost giddy “I wanna show you the whole world!”
Your heart skips. Just a little.
Then a hand grabs Luffy’s wrist, yanking it off of you.
Law.
His touch is cool, precise, almost possessive. He doesn’t say anything, just stares at Luffy, then at you. There’s something undeniably sharp in his gaze now.
Something dangerous.
“Don’t touch them so casually” he says. His voice is low.
Luffy just tilts his head “Huh? Why not?”
Law doesn’t answer.
Kid watches, then laughs “Holy shit. You’re jealous.”
Law ignores him, eyes still locked on you “This isn’t a game.” His voice is quieter now “Not for me.”
And for once, you don’t know what to say.
The air feels heavier now, not from battle, but from something far more dangerous.
This isn’t just about alliances anymore.
This is a chase.
The weight of their gazes presses in. Too much.
You exhale slowly, rolling your shoulders back. The shadows one by one sink into the ground, vanishing like ink in water, back to where they belong.
The battlefield is quiet.
Kid watches with sharp interest “Tch. Even your Devil Fruit is showy.”
Luffy tilts his head, blinking “Huh? Where’d they go?”
Law doesn’t speak, just watches you with that calculating gaze, as if he’s trying to figure out what you’re thinking.
But you don’t give them the chance.
You turn on your heel and walk away.
Not a word.
Not an explanation.
Just silence.
The festival in the Flower Capital is alive with laughter, music, and sake. People are celebrating, embracing their long-awaited freedom.
The people of Wano don’t know you like they know the others. You’re not a Straw Hat, not a Heart Pirate, not part of Kid’s crew. You’re just a shadow passing through their victory.
It should be freeing.
It isn’t.
You settle against a wooden post near a quieter part of the town, eyes drifting up to the lanterns lighting up the sky. The night is warm, the air thick with the scent of grilled food and spilled alcohol. Somewhere in the distance, you can hear Brook playing music, the faint sound of Luffy laughing, the chaotic voices of pirates and samurai alike.
And yet, you’re alone.
Just how you like it.
…Right?
“You’re hard to find.”
The voice is low, familiar.
You don’t have to turn around to know who it is. Trafalgar Law.
He steps beside you, hands tucked in his coat pockets, golden eyes flicking toward yours. His expression is unreadable, but there’s something different in the way he’s looking at you. Something unspoken.
You don’t acknowledge him right away. Just sip from the drink you swiped earlier.
“You followed me?”
Law doesn’t deny it “You left without saying anything.”
“You guys were annoying me.”
He exhales through his nose, amused “I figured.”
Silence stretches between you, comfortable but heavy. The festival noise hums in the background, but this moment feels separate from all of it.
After a beat, Law speaks again.
“You’re not staying, are you?”
“Would that disappoint you?”
Law’s gaze sharpens, but not with irritation, but something deeper.
“I don’t like wasting my time,” he murmurs “And I don’t chase things I can’t keep.”
Your heartbeat stumbles.
A challenge. A warning. A confession. Maybe all three.
For the first time in a long time, you don’t know what to say, and Law notices.
Your grip tightens around your cup, but you force yourself to keep your expression neutral “That so?”
Law doesn’t answer right away. He just watches you, too closely, as if he’s already mapping out every possible move you could make. Then he tilts his head slightly.
“You don’t run from battles.” His voice is smooth, steady “But you walked away from us.”
You scoff “Don’t tell me you took that personally.”
He exhales through his nose “I don’t take things personally. I just like to understand what I’m dealing with.” His golden eyes flick to yours, sharp, unreadable “And you? You’re an enigma.”
A small smirk tugs at your lips “Flattery, Trafalgar?”
“Observation.”
The weight of his gaze lingers. Heavy. And something about it, about him, unsettles you in a way you don’t want to acknowledge. Because he’s right.
You don’t walk away from fights. You don’t back down from challenges. But something about them, about this whole mess, made you leave.
Before you can respond, a loud, familiar voice cuts through the air.
“There you are!”
Footsteps. Heavy boots against wood.
Kid.
He stomps over, crimson eyes flicking between you and Law, his lip curling “The hell is this?”
You raise a brow “A conversation?”
Kid huffs, rolling his shoulders like he’s shaking off some irritation “Didn’t think you were the type to have quiet conversations.”
Law clicks his tongue “And I didn’t think you were the type to go looking for someone who left without a word.”
Kid’s eyes darken “Tch. You think I give a damn if they left? I just don’t like loose ends.”
But the way his gaze lingers on you says otherwise.
You sigh, rubbing your temple. This is exactly what you wanted to avoid “Why are you two even here?”
Kid folds his arms “Maybe I don’t like being ignored.”
Law hums “Needy.”
“Shut the hell up, Trafalgar.”
You sigh “You’re both ridiculous.”
Kid leans against the post next to you, his smirk sharp “Maybe. But you didn’t answer the question.”
You glance at him “What question?”
He tilts his head, watching you like a predator watching its prey “Are you staying?”
The air between you tightens.
You could lie and tell them exactly what they want to hear, but you don’t answer at all. And this silence is what gets them.
Kid’s smirk twitches, like he doesn’t like not knowing. Law’s fingers flex at his sides, like he wants to dissect every inch of your thoughts.
And just when you think you might finally get some peace a familiar laugh echoes.
Luffy.
He lands in front of you, grinning like he hasn’t just dropped into the middle of something tense.
“Oi, y/n!” His grin stretches wide, his eyes shining “I’ve been looking for you!”
Of course he has. Of course they all have.
Luffy's wide eyes flick between you, Law, and Kid and he doesn’t miss a thing.
“Eh? You guys are here too?”
Kid rolls his eyes “No shit.”
Law sighs, rubbing his temple “Straw Hat-ya, this really isn’t—”
But Luffy’s already stepping into your space. Closer than the others. Closer than anyone should be.
His warm fingers brush against your wrist, tugging lightly but not pulling, not forcing.
“You left before the party started,” he says, pouting “I wanted to drink with you.”
His voice isn’t demanding. It’s something worse... soft.
Unfiltered. Real.
Your pulse skips just for a second. And from the way Law tenses and Kid narrows his eyes, you know they notice.
You don’t pull away, but you don’t answer either.
Luffy tilts his head “Are you mad?”
You blink “Why would I be mad?”
He shrugs “Dunno. Maybe ‘cause we wouldn’t stop arguing in front of you.”
Kid scoffs “You mean because you wouldn’t shut up?”
Luffy grins “Well, yeah.”
Law exhales, voice flat “Straw Hat-ya, you’re not helping.”
But Luffy doesn’t care. He never does. He just looks at you, his fingers still wrapped around your wrist.
“You didn’t answer Kid’s question” he says.
You freeze. Of course he noticed.
Kid shifts beside you, arms crossed, eyes burning “Yeah, y/n. You staying or not?”
Law watches you, calculating, unreadable.
The festival noise fades. It’s just them. Just this. And you still don’t answer. Not because you don’t know, but because they all want different things.
Kid wants power. A challenge. Someone who doesn’t bend to him but still stands beside him. And you can give him that.
Law wants strategy. Precision. Someone he can trust, someone who understands things without needing to say them. And, angain, you can give him that.
Luffy just...
Luffy just wants you as you.
Not for your strength. Not for your Devil Fruit.
Just because you’re you.
And that’s the scariest thing of them all to you.
So instead of answering, you finally pull your hand back.
“I’m going to get a drink” you say simply.
Then you walk away, again. And this time none of them stop you.
Your boots move over the worn wooden planks of the street, but your mind lingers on the moment you pulled away. On the way they looked at you. You grip the sake bottle you swiped from a distracted vendor, your fingers pressing just a little too tightly around it. You shouldn’t care and yet... Footsteps. You don’t turn. You don’t have to. “I thought I told you I was getting a drink” you murmur. A low chuckle. Rough, amused. “Didn’t say I wasn’t getting one too.” Kid. Of course. You glance over your shoulder. He’s close.
Crimson eyes gleaming, coat still torn from battle, his usual sneer replaced with something slower, something that lingers. He’s looking at you like you’re his favorite fight.
You sigh, raising the bottle to your lips “What, afraid I’ll disappear?”
Kid’s smirk sharpens “I don’t get afraid.”
You swallow, letting the warmth of the sake burn down your throat “Could’ve fooled me.”
His grin widens “Tch. You wish.”
You should tell him to leave but you don’t. Because despite the way Kid is all sharp edges, all arrogance, all chaos, he’s also the one who followed. The one who didn’t let you slip into the night alone.
“Where the hell do you think you’re running off to, anyway?” he asks.
You tilt your head, watching him “Who says I’m running?”
Kid scoffs “Please. You didn’t just walk away. You walked the hell out.”
You hum, taking another slow sip “And yet, here you are.”
His smirk doesn’t fade “Damn right.”
“You’re different from them” he mutters.
You raise a brow “Them?”
His eyes flick back to where Law and Luffy were.
“They don’t get you like I do.” His voice drops just slightly, lower, rougher “You don’t play nice. You don’t follow. And you sure as hell don’t belong on a crew that treats life like a damn adventure story.”
You exhale, tapping the bottle against your thigh “That why you’re here?”
Kid takes another step closer, his voice a challenge and a promise all at once.
“I’m here ‘cause you don’t belong to anyone, y/n...”
His grin turns sharp.
“...but you could stand beside me. And you know that.”
A challenge. A temptation. And a mistake.
Because before you can answer, another voice cuts in.
“You don’t decide that for them.”
Kid turns, scowling, just as Law steps into the light.
You exhale through your nose “Figures you’d show up next. You all won't give up until I make a choice, will you?”
Law doesn’t deny it “Because you keep walking away” His voice is level “But you didn’t leave.”
Kid scoffs “Oh, for fuck’s sake!”
But Law ignores him. He steps closer, close enough that the air between you shifts. His voice is quieter now, meant only for you.
“If you were really leaving, you would’ve been gone by now.”
You grip the bottle tighter “And what if I just wanted a damn drink in peace?”
“Then you wouldn’t have let him follow.”
Your pulse stumbles. Kid’s jaw clenches, but before he can snap back, a familiar warmth crashes into you.
Luffy.
Arms wrapping around you like it’s the most natural thing in the world, his laugh bright, unbothered by the tension thick enough to cut with a blade.
“There you are!” He pulls back just enough to grin up at you “I knew you weren’t really leaving yet!”
You blink “What makes you so sure?”
Luffy tilts his head, confused by the question itself “Because you didn’t say goodbye.”
The simplicity of it hits harder than it should, because he’s right. You didn’t.
Law’s eyes darken, but he doesn’t look away from you “You’re still deciding.”
Kid’s jaw ticks “Tch. Just say it already.”
Luffy just waits, still smiling. Because he already knows.
And suddenly, you realize that so do you.
You inhale. Exhale. And then you turn.
Not to Kid.
Not to Law.
But to Luffy.
His eyes widen slightly, his fingers twitching against your sleeve “Eh?”
Your lips curl into a smirk “Took you long enough to find me, though”
Then he jumps with joy, hugs you tightly and kiss you on the cheek, which shocks you.
Luffy’s arms still wrapping tight around you like he never wants to let go.
Kid curses loudly, wheeling around to storm off, shoving a stunned passerby out of his way “You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.”
Law sighs heavily, running a hand down his face “Honestly.” But there’s no real bitterness in his voice, just understanding. Because they both saw it before you did.
You were never meant to follow. Never meant to stand beside them.
You were meant to run wild and free, with the only captain who never wanted to tame you in the first place.
Luffy pulls back, beaming, his hands still tight around you “So that means you’re coming with me, right?”
“As if you’d let me go.”
He grins.
“Never.”

Summoning the Boy King
Darkseid was rampaging through Metropolis, Superman was injured, and the Justice League was desperate. As the League hid between fallen skyscrapers, John Constantine prepared a last-ditch effort to save the Earth.
The Hellblazer drew an intricate sigil on the ground; its circular design stretching over six feet in diameter. Most of the symbols within were space-related, while the others were themed to royalty. Batman, one of the few heroes in-the-know, grunted.
"Are you sure this king ghost can help?"
Constantine sighed and pinched his nose.
"He's the High King of the Infinite Realms, Bats, an' he's bloody powerful. He'll stop Darkseid, alright, but what he does afterward is anyone's guess. Believe me, I wouldn't be doin' this if we had a choice."
Batman sighed and glanced at the smoke-filled horizon.
"Alright, get on with it, then. We're running out of time."
Constantine nodded and placed a single offering in the center of the sigil: a squishmallow of Disney's iconic blue alien, Stitch.
"I beg your finest pardon," Batman sputtered, "What on Earth is that?"
Constantine sighed again as he took his position at the edge of the sigil.
"Mate, the book was very specific. Unlike his predecessor, the new king requires a single offering of space or alien theme that is suitable for children. It's bloody strange, but beggars can't be choosers."
Batman just shook his head and looked on. Constantine raised his hands and started the summoning chant. An eerie, green glow spread across the sigil, and light fog gathered above it. Little white orbs floated up from the ground and spiraled together, forming the slowly spinning visage of a spiral galaxy.
"Incredible..." Zatanna gasped, "This summoning is on a level all its own. This king of yours is on the level of Gods."
Finally, something began to form over the small galaxy. Batman's expression quickly softened, much to the surprise of his teammates. It was mere seconds before they understood, as a black blob full of white stars formed into the shape of a boy. The blob had spiky 'bangs' if you could call them that and eerie, glowing green eyes.
The squishmallow floated into the boy's arms and he squeezed it excitedly. At the same time, he took on a far more human form, with pale skin and snowy white hair. His eyes had whites now but still glowed green. He was dressed in black and white, royal attire with green accents, a black crown floating in a green aurora, and a black ring with a green stone. A black cape flowed down his back, its underside looking as if it were cut from a clear night sky.
"Awesome offering, dude! What can I do for ya?"
The voice was a reedy tenor in the throes of puberty, and its owner was more than a little geeky. The boy's smile was infectious, or it would have been were it not for the specific circumstance.
"How old are you?" Batman asked, his tone soft, "We weren't expecting a child."
The boy waved him off like it was nothing.
"No one ever does. And, um... technically I'm fifteen. I know, I don't look it."
Constantine cut in, clearly out of patience.
"Look, this monster Darkseid is destroying our world. We need you to stop him."
The boy turned in the air and took in the destruction around him. Somehow, he seemed to understand the situation immediately.
"Okay, but I gotta get permission first. This'll take a lot of power." He paused, taking a breath, and then yelled in a strange language. "Mom!"
Constantine paled and the other heroes shrank back as a green portal tore into existence. A young woman, barely an adult herself, floated out. She had waist-length blue hair and the same glowing, green eyes. She wore a royal outfit in white and maroon, complete with a glittering, silver tiara studded with rubies.
"What's the matter, Danny? Are you okay?"
Danny nodded.
"Mhmm! These guys need me to take out this Darkseid guy, though. Can I use my full power?"
Constantine snuck a drink from his flask. He did not sign up to deal with the fucking Queen Mother of the Infinite Realms, nor had he known she existed. God, he needed a smoke...
The Queen Mother smiled softly and pressed a kiss to her son's forehead. She spoke whilst taking his new plush.
"Yes, Danny, you may. Let me hold onto this for you so it doesn't get dirty."
Danny nodded and turned away.
"Okay, thanks mom!"
The Queen Mother vanished through and with the portal she had created. Moments later, Danny shot off into the city, with the remaining able-bodied heroes hot on his trail. The young king reached Darkseid rather quickly, engaging him while the Leaguers looked on from cover. Darkseid was foolishly amused.
"A child dares oppose me? Flee, whelp."
Batman tensed as Darkseid unleashed his Omega Effect. Two red beams shot from his eyes, and yet the young king floated firm. Two eerie, green beams shot from his own eyes and, to the shock of everyone, overpowered his foe's. Darkseid shattered into many tiny pieces which then vanished into thin air.
"Man, he really wasn't smart!" Danny grinned, "Who fires a death beam at the king of the dead?"
He received no response, as the heroes were too stunned to speak. Smiling, he saluted the group before tearing open another portal.
"Oh well; villain gone, carry on. Later guys!"
Batman glared at Constantine, but the Brit had already absconded. Heaving a sigh, he resigned himself to this new reality. Darkseid was gone, but there was an incredible new power to worry about.
(Note: My only source of information is DP canon, DP fanon, and the Justice League cartoons from the early '00s. I apologize for any inaccuracies with Batman's or Constantine's behavior.)

warnings... fluff :3, kissing
Tumblr media
♡ ˖ ࣪ ◟ the soft padding of your feet against the floor fills the empty, dark living room, watching chris, who lies there, deep in a slumber. you approach him quietly, tired, and still halfway awake.
to be honest, you were fucking terrified. it was completely dark in your parents' house, which was empty besides the two of you, and everything seemed to cast an unreasonably eerie shadow. but you had to use the bathroom… just not alone.
you stand right next to the couch, contemplating if you should wake him up—you had quite an argument earlier, hence why he’s asleep on the couch and not cuddled up in bed next to you.
“chris?” you mumbled quietly, gently poking his bicep. he doesn’t react, and you try again. “chris? wake up, please..” you whispered, and when he finally started shifting, you felt somewhat relieved.
“baby, please. wake up,” by now chris is being waked up by your continuous poking and whispering, opening his eyes to see you looming over him.
he stirs again, rubbing his eyes before he sits up, glancing up at you. “what’s up?” he grumbles after a second, watching how you reach out to almost secretly take his hand in yours.
and you try not to keep it too obvious, not really wanting to make it look like he won the previous argument you had, but you just couldn’t help but feel creeped out—and his presence and touch helped.
“can you go to the bathroom with me? please?” you whispered, wrapping your fingers around his when he doesn’t pull his hand back, still staring shyly down at him.
chris chuckles, giving you a quick shrug before he shifts a little again. he then stands up, giving your hand a small squeeze—by now, he was used to this. you were always scared of the dark, even if that meant using the bathroom on your own. “yeah, of course. let’s go.”
you offer him a soft smile, keeping the grip on his hand soft and light as you slowly and quietly make your way to your parents' bathroom.
chris closed the door behind you, and you insisted on keeping his hand in yours while you shimmied down your sleep shorts, even while you peed. “thank you,” you mumbled, still not too pleased with how he had disagreed with you—he just wasn’t allowed to win this thing between you.
he chuckled at your protest to thoroughly look at him, but decided to brush it off—you were gonna give in anyway. “it’s no problem,” he pressed a light kiss to the top of your head as you’re washing your hands.
but just as you’re about to sneak back out of the bathroom, he grabs you by your hips and turns you around. “nuh, uh... come here,” he chuckles softly, tilting your head up by your chin.
you stare up at him, staying silent until he suddenly pressed his lips to yours, meeting them in a slow, gentle kiss. “i’m sorry,” he whispered when you both pulled back, his hand cupping the side of your jaw.
by now, your cheeks are tinted pink, and you feel your heart flutter just a little bit—you couldn’t stay mad at him for long. “let me sleep in your bed with you, please, doll.”

lefkowitz’ widow
pairing: trevor lefkowitz x reader
plot: an unexpected visitor shows up at the Woodstone b&b and brings up memories from trevor’s past. in an effort to comfort her, things go so wrong that they end up right, in a way. aka trevor misses his pookie bear
warnings: death and like, 2 swears.
word count: 3.2k
pronouns: she/her
rating: pg
a/n: i’m rusty at writing, be nice 🙏 probably not 100% accurate, but blame it on plot convenience pls
also for the plot’s sake he hasn’t had any actual relations with hetty, he just acts like a freak but never actually follows through (aka im too lazy to write that out 🩷)
You didn’t consider yourself a very superstitious person, but you could feel the eerie energy radiating from Woodstone as soon as you stepped on the grounds, but you had begun to feel a bit dissuaded from– everything really, and you had been missing your husband for the past… well, two decades, and really wanted to reconnect with him.
Trevor, however, didn’t take the exact same relaxed feelings about the reunion. He watched your car pull in and watched you get out of your car, as humans did, you had aged, but by god in his eyes you aged like absolute wine. Clearly, he looked mortified, though.
Trevor stood frozen in the front hall as he watched you step out of your car. His usual confident smirk was nowhere to be found, replaced instead with a wide-eyed look of panic. He ran a hand through his eternally perfect hair, pacing in tight circles.
“Oh my God. Oh my God. It’s her,” he muttered, mostly to himself.
“Her who?” Alberta asked, leaning on the doorway with a raised eyebrow.
“Her her! My wife! My widow! The woman I married, the woman I—ugh!” He groaned, dramatically flopping onto the couch. “She’s here! What is she doing here? She’s supposed to be… I don’t know, happily remarried or writing a memoir about how awesome I was. Not staying here, with us!”
The other ghosts stared at him in a mix of curiosity and amusement.
“Wait, you’re married?” Isaac asked, his brows furrowing. “I thought you were more of the, ah, bachelor for life type.”
“I was married for six years!” Trevor shot back, sitting up indignantly. “She’s my one true love. You don’t get over someone like that, okay?” He ran both hands through his hair this time, looking almost comically distraught. “And now she’s here, and she looks… amazing, but she’s aged, and I haven’t, and this is going to mess her up, right? Like, emotionally? This is bad, right?”
“Didn’t take you for the sentimental type,” Alberta teased, her tone softening slightly. “But this explains a lot about why you’re extra dramatic today.”
Sam, who had been observing quietly, crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. “Trevor, she’s your wife? Why didn’t you ever mention her before?”
“Because it hurts, Sam!” Trevor threw up his hands. “She was the one. I miss her every single day, but what was I supposed to do? Drop it casually into conversation? ‘Oh, by the way, the love of my life is out there somewhere, and I’m stuck here in the No Pants Brigade for eternity.’ Real smooth.”
“Aw, Trev,” Pete said, his usual warmth shining through. “That’s actually… really sweet. Tragic, but sweet.”
“I know it’s tragic, Pete! That’s the whole point!” Trevor snapped, though his voice cracked slightly. “And now she’s here, and I can’t even tell her I’m here because… ghost rules! And you know me, I’m not good at being subtle. I’m gonna screw this up. I just know it.”
“You’ve already started screwing it up,” Hetty cut in, her tone sharp. “I can practically feel your anxiety polluting the air.”
“Thank you for the support, Hetty,” Trevor deadpanned before turning back to Samantha. “Sam, please, you’ve gotta help me. Tell her I’m here. Drop some hints. I don’t know, maybe do that whole ‘medium’ thing you’re always saying you’re not.”
Samantha gave him a sympathetic look. Trevor, I don’t think telling her outright is the best idea. She’s here for a reason. Maybe she’s looking for closure. You should think about what she needs right now, not just what you want.”
Trevor groaned again, dragging his hands down his face. “You’re right. You’re totally right. I just…” He looked out the window again, watching as you hesitated near your car, seemingly mustering up the courage to come inside. “I miss her, Sam. Like, really miss her.”
The room fell silent for a moment. Even Hetty seemed to soften, though she wouldn’t admit it.
Samantha finally broke the silence, her voice gentle. “Then maybe this is your chance to give her what she’s been missing too. Just… try not to scare her, okay?”
Trevor nodded, though his lips curled into a sheepish grin. “I’ll do my best. No promises, though.”
“That’s what we’re worried about,” Alberta muttered, shaking her head as she followed the others to watch the unfolding chaos.
“Hello! Uh– you work here, right?” You spoke from the hallway, bags in hands. “Yup! Here for vacation?” Sam asked, getting behind the desk. There was a pause between the two of you before a hum of hesitancy came from you, not wanting to dump all of your dead-husband-trauma within a minute of meeting her, you just nodded. “Basically.”
You had got set up in your room, trying to relax despite the energy coming from the property, sitting up on the bed and texting, unaware of the specter of your deceased husband laying next to you. Trevor lay sprawled next to you on the bed, his usual cocky grin tempered with nervous excitement. “God, you’re even cuter than I remembered,” he murmured to himself, though you, of course, couldn’t hear him. “Okay, Trev, this is your moment. Don’t blow it. Start small. Subtle. Like… ghost Casanova.”
Meanwhile, you sat cross-legged on the bed, your phone in hand, scrolling through messages and photos. A faint frown tugged at your lips, and Trevor’s expression softened.
“Hey, don’t look sad. I’m right here!” he said, leaning closer. “Okay, time for step one: the classic ‘move a thing to get their attention’ move. Easy peasy.”
He eyed the pen sitting on the nightstand and focused all his energy on it. The pen wobbled slightly, then fell off the edge with a faint clatter.
You glanced up from your phone, startled. Your eyes darted to the nightstand, lingering for a moment, before you sighed and bent to pick up the pen.
“Must’ve knocked it off,” you mumbled to yourself, setting it back in place.
Trevor smacked his forehead. “Okay, maybe too subtle. Fine. Let’s turn it up a notch.”
He stood, pacing at the foot of the bed like a coach psyching himself up for the big game. “All right, Trev, think… what’s romantic but not terrifying? Candles? Too cliché. Write her a message? No penmanship when you’re a ghost.” He snapped his fingers. “Music! Music’s perfect. Nostalgic, romantic… plus, I know what song we danced to at our wedding. Boom. Easy win.”
He floated toward the room’s Bluetooth speaker, fiddling with the controls. It took a few tries, but soon the opening chords of “Your Song” by Elton John filled the room.
You froze mid-text, looking around with wide eyes.
“What the…” you whispered, putting your phone down. The music grew louder, and your brows furrowed.
Trevor grinned triumphantly, throwing his arms in the air. “Yes! She knows it’s me! Come on, babe, connect the dots. Ghost plus love song equals your amazing husband!”
But instead of looking touched or nostalgic, you grabbed the speaker, inspected it, and muttered, “That’s… weird. Haven’t heard that one in a while.” You turned the speaker off and set it down on the nightstand, shaking your head.
Trevor deflated, throwing himself backward onto the bed in frustration. “Come on! That was our song! How does that not scream ‘It’s Trevor!’?”
The faint smile you gave the speaker didn’t escape his notice, though. “Okay,” you murmured to yourself, “I dunno if I’m just imagining things. Or maybe it’s just… this place.” You paused, looking toward the window with a wistful expression, flashes of moments of your relationship running through your mind at the nostalgic song. “If only he was here…”
Trevor sat bolt upright at your words, his frustration melting into something softer. “I am here,” he said, his voice almost a whisper. “And I’m not going anywhere.”
For a moment, the room was silent except for the faint hum of the air conditioning. Trevor stayed where he was, staring at you with a mixture of love and longing, his resolve strengthening.
“All right, babe,” he murmured. “You might not believe it yet, but I’m gonna show you. You’ll know it’s me. I promise.”
He watched as you leaned back on the bed, phone forgotten, and closed your eyes. He stayed beside you, close enough that he imagined you could feel the warmth of his love, even if he couldn’t physically reach you.
“Tomorrow,” he said softly, “I’ll do better. You’ll see.”
The morning sun filtered through the trees, casting soft, dappled light across the Woodstone grounds. You walked slowly, arms crossed against the crisp air. It wasn’t the most energetic stroll—you’d never been one for intense hikes, nor exactly cut out for them—but it was peaceful. Quiet. Something you hadn’t felt in a long time.
The weight of memories pressed against you as you stopped by an old oak tree, brushing your fingers against its bark. “He would’ve loved this,” you murmured. The thought brought a bittersweet smile to your lips, though the ache in your chest never quite disappeared.
Inside the house, Trevor was a whirlwind of nervous energy, pacing in the living room. “Okay, okay. Yesterday didn’t go so great,” he admitted, running his hands through his hair. “But today’s a new day. I just need… a plan. A really good plan. So, ideas. Let’s hear ’em!”
Alberta rolled her eyes from her perch on the armrest of the couch. “Trevor, you can’t just throw random ghost tricks at her and expect her to piece it together. What’s your actual endgame here?”
“The endgame is for her to know it’s me, Albie!” Trevor gestured wildly, “I want her to feel like I’m still here for her. Like… in a good, romantic way. Not in a haunted way.”
“Well, you’re failing at both,” Hetty said flatly.
Isaac cleared his throat. “Perhaps you should try something more personal. Something that speaks to your connection with her.”
Trevor groaned. “I tried that! I played our wedding song, and she didn’t even get it! What else am I supposed to do?”
“Then maybe you should think about what she loved about you specifically,” Alberta said, leaning forward. “What was your thing? Your move? The thing that made her fall for you in the first place?”
Trevor paused, a rare moment of introspection crossing his face. “She used to say I had this way of… making her laugh, even when she didn’t want to. Like, no matter how bad her day was, I could always cheer her up. That’s what she loved about me.” He smiled faintly, the memory softening his usual bravado. “Man, she used to laugh so hard she’d snort, and she’d get all embarrassed, but I thought it was the cutest thing ever.”
“Well, there you go,” Alberta said. “You’ve got your answer.”
“Yeah, but how am I supposed to make her laugh if she can’t hear me?” Trevor threw up his hands. “I can’t exactly tell her my A+ jokes from ghost-land.”
Sam, who had been quietly listening, finally spoke up. “Maybe you don’t need to say anything. Maybe you just need to remind her of something funny you did together. Like, recreate one of your inside jokes or a memory that’ll make her laugh.”
Trevor snapped his fingers. “Sam, you’re a genius! I knew I kept you around for a reason.”
“It’s my property,” she deadpanned.
“Details.” Trevor waved her off, already pacing again as he brainstormed. “Okay, funny memory. Funny memory. Oh! Remember that time we went to that fancy restaurant, and I accidentally set the napkin on fire, and we had to sneak out before the maître d’ kicked us out? She loved that story!”
“Sure,” Hetty muttered, “because nothing says love like mild arson.”
Ignoring her, Trevor clapped his hands together. “That’s it. I’ll find a way to remind her of that. Maybe I’ll knock over a candle or something—just enough to jog her memory. Not, like, burn-the-place-down levels. I can do this!”
“Let’s hope you don’t accidentally commit ghost arson,” Isaac muttered as Trevor bolted toward the door, ready to execute his next brilliant plan.
Outside, you had wandered toward the gazebo, sitting down on the wooden bench with a sigh. The quiet was nice, though there was something about this place that made you feel… watched. Not in a bad way, but as if there was some invisible presence hovering nearby, waiting for the right moment.
From the shadows of the house, Trevor watched you with a determined glint in his eye. “All right, babe. Let’s make you laugh.”
You sat in the gazebo, absentmindedly watching a pair of squirrels chase each other around the base of a tree. The morning air was crisp, and for a moment, you let yourself relax.
From the shadows of the house, Trevor leaned against the doorway, cracking his knuckles. “Okay, Trev. Channel the glory days. Be suave. Be funny. Don’t… burn anything down for real this time.”
He floated closer, eyeing the picnic table in the gazebo. A small decorative lantern sat on the edge of it, its candle flickering gently in the breeze. Trevor grinned. “Perfect. Just a little nudge…”
He focused his energy on the lantern, tipping it ever so slightly until it teetered on the edge. With a faint clatter, it toppled over, landing on the table.
Startled, you turned to the sound, your brows furrowing. “Huh. That’s weird.”
Trevor winced. “Okay, not enough. Gotta amp it up.”
He scanned the area and spotted a small coffee table tablecloth, reminiscent of a napkin, resting next to the lantern. “This’ll do. Time to bring back the classics.” With a concentrated effort, he managed to slide the cloth toward the lantern’s flame, careful not to let it fully ignite.
The edge of the fabric began to smolder, a thin wisp of smoke curling into the air.
You gasped, leaping to your feet. “What the—?”
Trevor grinned, floating back as he waited for recognition to dawn. “Come on, babe. You have to remember this. Napkin fire? Fancy restaurant? Hilarious escape? It’s me!”
You quickly grabbed the mini tablecloth, smothering the tiny ember with your hands. With the danger gone, you sat back down, shaking your head with a bemused smile. “This place is seriously fucking with me.”
But then you paused, your fingers brushing over the singed edge of the cloth. Your smile softened, turning wistful.
“I’m really losing it now,” you muttered, though there was a glimmer of warmth in your eyes. “That’s exactly the kind of thing he’d do…”
Trevor froze, his grin fading as his expression softened. “She remembers,” he whispered.
You leaned back against the bench, holding the fabric in your hands like it was a precious relic. A quiet laugh escaped you, tinged with both joy and sadness. “Trevor, if this is you… God, I miss you.”
Trevor floated closer, his heart aching at the sound of your voice saying his name. He knelt beside you, though he knew you couldn’t see him. “I miss you too, babe. More than anything.”
For a moment, the world felt still. Though you couldn’t see him, and he couldn’t physically touch you, Trevor sat beside you, basking in the quiet connection of the moment.
“I’ll make sure you know it’s me,” he whispered. “No matter what it takes.”
The evening had grown dark, the soft hum of crickets filling the air as you stepped out of the car and onto the gravel driveway of Woodstone. The long, flowing dress you’d chosen for dinner swayed gently as you walked toward the front entrance, your heels clicking softly on the steps.
Trevor had been lounging on the staircase banister, idly waiting for you to return. When the door creaked open, he glanced up, his usual grin fading into wide-eyed awe.
“Whoa,” he whispered, standing straighter as he took in the sight of you. “You look… incredible. Like, seriously incredible. Red carpet-level stunning. Damn.”
You closed the door behind you, taking a moment to adjust your coat and shake off the evening chill. The glow from the chandelier overhead illuminated your features, and Trevor floated closer, unable to stop staring.
“Babe, you always looked amazing, but this? This is next-level. If I had a heartbeat, it’d be racing right now.”
Completely oblivious to his presence, you made your way into the sitting room, setting your clutch down on the nearest table. You looked around, pausing as you took in the cozy ambiance of the room. Something about it felt oddly welcoming tonight, though you couldn’t quite put your finger on why.
Trevor, meanwhile, hovered behind you, practically buzzing with excitement. “Okay, Trev, play it cool. She’s in a good mood. Maybe I can nudge something over—like a little love note or a flower. Yeah, that’s romantic. Not weird at all.”
He turned toward a nearby shelf, spotting a vase filled with dried flowers. “Perfect,” he said, focusing his energy on it. “Just a gentle tap…”
But Trevor’s enthusiasm got the better of him. Instead of the vase, he accidentally tipped the entire bookshelf.
“Wait, no! Nononono!” he yelled, trying to stop the shelf mid-fall.
With a thunderous crash, the bookshelf toppled over, sending books and decorative items scattering across the room.
You spun around, eyes wide, your heart pounding in your chest. “What the—”
The shock of the sound, combined with the sudden adrenaline surge, overwhelmed you. A sharp pain gripped your chest, and you staggered backward, clutching at your heart.
Trevor’s excitement immediately turned to panic. “Oh no. No, no, no. Babe, what’s happening? Are you okay? Please tell me you’re okay!”
You gasped, trying to steady yourself against the edge of the couch, but your legs gave out. The last thing you saw was the chandelier’s light dimming as you collapsed to the floor.
“No!” Trevor shouted, kneeling beside you. His hands hovered over you, futile in their ghostly form. “Please, don’t… not like this. Don’t leave me again!”
Moments later, the room seemed to shift. A strange warmth filled the air, and Trevor froze, staring at your body. Suddenly, your spirit appeared, standing next to him.
You blinked, disoriented, looking down at your hands and then at your body on the floor. “What… what just happened?”
Trevor’s jaw dropped. “Babe?”
You turned toward the familiar voice, your eyes widening as you saw him standing there, looking exactly as he had the day you’d lost him, just— minus some pants. “Trevor?”
He nodded, his voice trembling. “Yeah, it’s me. I… I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean for this to happen. I swear, I was just trying to—”
But before he could finish, you stepped forward and wrapped your arms around him, tears streaming down your face. “It’s you. It’s really you.”
For the first time in years, Trevor felt solid, real. He held you tightly, his own tears falling freely. “I missed you so much.”
“I missed you too,” you whispered, pulling back just enough to look into his eyes. “I thought I’d never see you again.”
Trevor smiled, a mix of relief and guilt in his expression. “Well, about that… Turns out I’m still pretty good at screwing things up.” He didn’t let go of you for a second, pressing a kiss to the top of your head. “And for the record? You don’t look a day over 35, hon’.”
“You’re a dork. But at least you’re my dork.” You softly chuckled. “Hey, can you blame me? You’re gonna look like an absolute bombshell for the rest of eternity.”

heart eyes─
ᯓ izuku midoriya
note; this was inspired by a cai bot :3 I lowkey rushed at the end. I am very sleepy 😔
Tumblr media Tumblr media
everything was fine.. before Izuku got hit with a villain's peculiar quirk in a fight you and a few of your classmates participated in.
when you saw him cry out in pain you quickly punched the guy you were fighting and passed him to the cute doe-eyed girl.
"ah-! Wait Y/-"
"give him a final blow Uraraka!" You yelled out as you ran toward Midoriya. Uraraka watched as you dashed over to the hurt teen with the stunted man in her arms. Her curious eyes widened, but she was brought back to reality when the villain gained back consciousness.
"oh, right!"
you swiftly did a run and slide over to his injured self and immediately began to check on him. The villain that used their quirk on him was far gone, they ran from the scene with a cheeky laugh. You looked over at the disappearing villain and cursed,
"crap she got away.." as you grumbled you heard Izuku mumble something in pain, he groaned picking his head up. Your hand remained on his back when you quickly turned around.
"Oh Midoriya, are you alr—"
"I.. don't feel so good.." He looked up at you with his eyes sealed closed and his brows knitted together in pain.
"what did she do to you— oh?" Your eyes dilated in shock when he fluttered his eyes opened. His pupils were now.. heart shaped?
It took him a moment to adjust to his environment, his eyes shifted a few times before they landed on you. That's when his eyes began to dilate.
"oh wow you're so prettyy.. hahahaa." His speech was a little slurred as if he was drunk, he seemed like a completely different person when he spoke to you. You felt your cheeks warm up.
"What the???"
"and that's the last of them! I shall inform the police we have captured these hooligans." Iida adjusted the sticky tape thanks to sero, wrapped around the remaining villains. All four of them looked embarrassed and irritated they got their ass beaten by a bunch of teenagers.
uraraka came in to join on the surface after successfully restricting that one villain you passed on to her, she held onto sero's tape that was wrapped tightly around the villain and held it like a balloon. "and there's another, release!" The villain came crashing down on the hard ground with a thud while uravity landed quite delicately on the hard surface.
the three students smiled in contentment at one another, they served their amount of justice for today it seemed, and were ready to head back to their dorms.
"the cops will be here shortly!" Iida exclaimed as he set his phone away from his ear.
"greaatt, can't wait to head back now! I'm starvin'." Sero rubbed his tummy with a relieved smile.
"awesome! Now— oh wait deku and Y/n! I saw her rush over to him I'm not sure what happened but it seemed urgent." The doe-eyed girl looked around for you and quickly spotted two bodies, you and izuku.
"they're over there!" She pointed and started forward. Sero followed along quickly after but Iida stayed to watch the villains, he watched in the distance with a worrisome face.
"Y/n! Is everything fine? We captured all the villains and—" both of the two heroes stopped in their tracks once you turned around in a very eerie manner at their voices. Your head turned slowly to reveal Izuku with his arms around your neck and him desperately trying to kiss you. Your face was a mess of a red shade as well as dark and disturbed.
the two heroes who came to save you watched in shock, Uraraka even blushed herself she was even more surprised.
"help... me..." You croaked out dramatically. Something traumatizing for sure happened when those three were out fighting and you were left alone with izuku.
"WHAT HAPPENED??" In unison, sero and uraraka yelled out, stunned at the sight.
. . .
after taking izuku to the nurse she sent him back, he wasn't really injured but affected by a quirk .. so she couldn't do much to help the boy only thing she mentioned was "the quirk will eventually wear off within maybe a day so it would be better if he rested to cause nomore.. drama."
"I'll make sure he gets to his dorm since he apparently doesn't want to let go of me." You try your hardest to push the green-haired boy away but his grip around your arm is too strong. You groan.
uraraka and sero chuckle together, "hopefully the quirk will go away when he wakes up."
"yeah, let's pray." You nonchalantly reply with a grin, you turn around after giving those two a wave. They wave back and watch you disappear with Izuku still so close to you.
"I wonder what that villain's quirk was and has deku acting like that.." uraraka mumbles with her hand to her chest, her eyebrows knit, she was worried.
sero pats her back for comfort, "he'll be fine! He's gone through much worse anyway." uraraka's worried eyes soon change as she gazes up at him, her hand falls momentarily. "I guess you're right."
. . .
"and we're finally here..." You finally let out a sigh of relief now being in izuku's room. Your head lifts itself up and your met with so much all might merch. Your eyes dilate.
"oh boy."
I forgot he is such a fanboy... you say to yourself.
izuku suddenly drags you over to his bed by the arm, you hadn't had time to even take in his room and he was already starting his bullshit caused by that damn quirk... that love quirk you now know of.
"ahg-! Izuku?!" He places you onto his bed with no time to spare, it's like he was waiting.. to do this. He pushes your body down on his sheets with his strong hands as he slowly climbs on top of you.
you don't have time to hide your blush, you don't have time to even process this situation anyway !!! Your cheeks were so hot you were practically boiling.
he had put you in a pot and was going to eat you ALIVE.
"y/n.. I.. I'm sorry I can't really help it, it's like something inside of me.. just really wants you." His heart-shaped pupils stare right into your shocked ones. His voice was so low and whiney as he apologized it made you gulp hard.
temptation was getting to you.
you've always liked him and for some time really, but you never told him,, only because you guys were focusing on becoming heroes and because you guys were good friends. You didn't wanna ruin anything.. but apparently now, that didn't seem to matter.
izuku was quite literally in between your legs now, his hot breath you could feel on your lips drove you crazy. He was so close.
"izu.." You breathe out, your eyes narrow down to his lips then to his love sick eyes.
his hand makes it to your warm cheek and caresses it lightly with his thumb. His other hand sneaks it's way onto your waist, after that you immediately folded he's got you now.
anything he says now you'll obey.
shit.. your eyes dart away, flushed as ever.
"aw come on, look at me sweetheart." His sweet voice rings in your ear. Your head turns almost immediately and he smiles.
"you're so cute when you get nervous you know?" His hand on your waist starts to slide up and down as he whispers to you. You choke out
this was to much, you wanted to escape, run away, something! But then again you wanted him to kiss you so badly, you were practically dying for it to happen already.
"I.. uhm" He simply smiles once again, watching you struggle to say something. His heart-shaped eyes looked to soften in size as he gazes upon you. Oh how so cute you look, it was finally time.
izuku wasn't really izuku right now obviously because of the quirk, but a little bit of him still remained in control. He felt a bit nervous currently but thanks to the quirk you couldn't detect it. He also wanted to kiss you, badly.
but was that really him or the quirk?
"I.. I wanna kiss you, is that okay?" He mutters, suddenly his gaze leaving yours. His hand leaves your waist and he leans away. He's playing with his fingers suddenly?
you slowly sit upwards from the wall and study him, he is fidgeting, is he nervous now?
"you want to kiss me?" your eyes light up, sparkle even. He looks up and nods, the way he does it is so cute . He looks so shy now with his green eyes softening at you.
you think for a second, will he even remember this kiss?
your eyes find his and leave them there, your lips curl suddenly, and you nod.
It would be better if he didn't remember... it would save the embarrassment.
"you can kiss me." Izu lips part, he's taken back at your reply. He's about to speak but something inside him seems to switch on. His fingers twitch and you notice his pupils, heart-shaped, dilate again.
oh no, it's back.
"oh you're so cute I can't wait to taste you sweetheart.." izu moves forward again, he makes you lean back against the wall. You blush a bright red, your nerves are back gosh he is so DIFFERENT now..
not so soft and shy but flirty and obsessed.
"taste??!" You blurt out as he lifts your chin toward him. He smirks, his eyes narrowing to your sweet lips.
"that's what I said, no?"
. . .
"should we tell deku dinner is being served? Or let him sleep?" Uraraka asks iida who walked beside her.
"well y/n hasn't made her way to the common room so she is most likely with Midoriya right as we speak. We should inform her and have her bring dinner to him." Iida states. They both motion toward Izuku's room, growing closer.
"that seems good, I hope he's okay though and she isn't having to much trouble with—"
"AAAAAHHHH MIDORIYAAA, STOP !!!"
a loud shriek echoes through the halls that made the two wandering students stop dead in their tracks.
"what in the world was that??" Iida looks around, alarmed. Uraraka points to the door.. izukus's door.
"It came from there!" The girl blasts off quickly to the rescue. Iida is caught off guard by her speed as he follows behind her
"wait up!"
the two race to the selected door and come crashing in, ready to tackle any danger that might have gotten inside.
"stop you crimin- oh!?" The brunette's face takes on a shade of pink at the sight infront of her. Her brows, once stitched together were now raised to her forehead.
her eyes flicker a few times before she makes a loud flushed noise and covers her face.
it was you and izuku, he was now ontop of you. His legs were protecting your sides as he attempted to kiss you once again. Your arms are on his shoulders..TRYING to stop him but uraraka probably already had the wrong idea.
you turn your head at the flushed girl, you blush yourself.
"uraraka?!" You shout, now incredibly embarrassed. She didn't say anything but kept her hands on her face.
"and IIDA!! what are you two DOING??" suddenly four eyes makes his appearance.
your eyes widen which makes your arms fall, izu finally kisses you but.. it wasn't your lips he met.
"IIDA??? OH MY GO— EEK?!" Your body tenses up, izuku kissed your neck. Oh my god he kissed your neck and wasn't stopping.
your body temperature rose like a thermometer, you were officially a red tomato.
"IZUKU???"

The air is thick with tension as you stand among the crowd, heart pounding in sync with the eerie lullaby playing over the speakers. The massive mechanical doll at the far end of the field turns its head with a slow, deliberate click, its eyes scanning for the slightest movement. You barely have time to process the rules of the game when a towering presence shifts beside you, a tall man who appeared to be an ex-rapper considering his unique purple hair. He looks down at you with a wide smirk on his face “be careful señorita, you’ll end up dead if move a single muscle” he laughs at you. You draw back as you hear him refer to you as señorita.
However, he had supported you throughout the deadly game despite taking his pills. You still disliked him though, seeming as he was crazed and would constantly harass innocent people. Although to Thanos, this was a way of showing off his strength and dominance. “Say señorita, we would make an awesome couple ya know” He says with cockiness in his voice that was undeniably aggravating. “I dont think so” You try to laugh off in order to still be polite even though you meant every single word. “Why not?” He responds with confusion as if you’ve just rejected the most handsome prize you could get in there despite the money. “I.. just don’t really.. see you that way” You tried to say it lighthearted, because you knew what Thanos was capable of. And you really didn’t want to be on his bad side.
He chuckles. “Ah i understand now. You’re just playing hard to get with me” He says with confidence. “But don’t you worry señorita, i’ll break your wall down with ease” He delusionaly walks away, plotting his future advances so that he would make you his girl. You’re tense after that, knowing he wouldn’t put a stop to his nonstop flirting. You try your hardest to push past your thoughts as you eventually succumb to a somewhat peaceful slumber in those tacky old beds the organisers of the game supplied you all with.
It had been a day now, your team and thanos just survived the six-legged race game, which left you paranoid as he was just messing around the full time, not caring that your lives were put at stake. This angered you alot more now, you were about done with his foolish acts and excused yourself to the team to leave for the bathrooms to calm yourself down. Thanos saw this as a gold opportunity to try and win over your ‘hard to get’ act, as he was so convinced you were crazy about him. He also excused himself and sneakily followed you towards the female bathrooms. You stand beside the sink, washing your face with the ice-cold water until you hear an opening of the door. At first you had just assumed it would be another female wanting to use the restroom, but thats when you hear it. His deep and playful voice calling out your name.
“Thanos, what the hell are you doing he-“ He cuts off your whisper shouting as he muffles your voice with one of his strong hands. “Chill out señorita, we finally have time for ourselves yeah?” He asked as if it was some casual thing between us. you look up at him nervously, afraid of what he would do. He locks eyes with you for a moment then looks down towards your heart-shaped lips. He leans over in one swift motion, pressing his rough lips against your soft ones. You wanted him to stop, you wanted to tell him that he was wrong about you. That you didn’t feel anything towards him. Although you would be lying to yourself if you said that his lips smashed against yours didn’t feel good.
As he continued to press down on you, he began tracing his hands around your body, you felt yourself slowly giving in to the passionate kiss. Although it started getting rougher by the second and you felt like you were getting weaker through his touch. He pulls away for a minute, “Come on, you cant deny you like this, that you like me, my señorita” He grins before quickly reconnecting your lips. Now it was you who pulled away, “What makes you so sure of that?” He just stares at you for a good couple seconds, “You say you dont like me but your body seems to speak for itself baby” And he was right. Even though you didn’t like him, your body was so rapid to give in to him. You felt yourself get so confused with your own emotions within this moment. “Doesn’t mean i like you though” you spoke through gritted teeth. “Sure you don’t” He smugly said before leaving you unaccompanied in the bathroom.
You were now just stood there, drowning in many thoughts and wondering how you were gonna get thanos to leave you alone now that you humiliated yourself, by actually somehow enjoying the encounter you both shared.
