Yes. In a way... Brendon is kinda like Vicky from FOP maybe. Though...she mellowed down when she met the Eds. i dislike: one-dimensional and predictable cast of characters, too many named characters that made it a hassle to read, ruining some of the mysteries that felt intentional to the series, strange worldbuilding decisions, simplistic polsci theory concepts, creating connections i didn't need/want, uninteresting plot/different concepts would've been better, villain's perspective would've been cool but i kinda don't care about him at that stage in his life
