Your sitting there contemplating on whether or not you should really answer Charlie or not. You finally turn back on your phone and see a whole bunch of worried and missed calls from Walker, Dior, Leah, and Charlie... Oh god what have you done... Just as you were about to call them back you hear a knock on the door... Who could that be?

Now...

You get up and open the door seeing a worried Dior standing at the door.

"Oh thank god your ok!" she yells ut hugging you. You stumble back from the force of her hug a little bit and hug her back.

"I'm sorry. I just, I don't know how to tell Charlie." You say breaking down into tears again.

"Shhh... It's ok girl. He's on his way here. You have to just push through for now. You've got an interview coming up in a few hours so get some sleep and we'll figure it out later ok?" She says trying to reassure you in the best way possible. "I'll stay with you tonight, I love you!" She says lastly before guiding you to your bed.

"Ugh I love you too. What would I do without you?" You say smiling weakly. Your eyes flutter shut and you let sleep overtake you.

The next morning has arrived and you wake up. You don't see Dior next to you anymore so you assumed she went back home to tell her dad that she's ok.

You get up and brush your teeth and do your whole face routine before going back to your nightstand to pick up your phone.

You still see all the texts from Walker and Leah, and Charlie... You decide to call Charlie first. You press his name and listen to the phone ring.

When you feel like he's not going to answer you decide to hang up the phone but your thumb is stopped by the sound of his voice on the phone.

"Y/N!? Are you ok??? P-Please tell me your ok." The phone breaks up a bit but you hear his worried tone.

"Morning Charlie. I'm ok, I turned off my phone. I'm sorry for making you all worried especially you." You say feeling the tears come up in your eyes again.

You sniffle and try to get the words out but Charlie is quick to say something first.

"Pretty girl? Why are you crying?" He asks his heart feeling hurt as he hears your sniffles on the other line.

"I-I just, I don't know how to deal with all these feelings I have. The feelings I have f-for you..." You mutter out.

"You have feelings for me too? Cuz I also have feelings for you. I was scared to tell you because idk, you were giving me mixed feelings i guess. One minute were flirting and he next I feel like I'm in the friend zone again. You know what I mean?" He says as he paces around his hotel room.

"Yea, I know what you mean. The only reason I did that was because I always overthink things. I never knew if some days you were just flirting with me or just being nice. I never knew which one was happening so some days I would flirt and other days I'd shut myself out. I'm sorry Charlie."

"It's ok pretty girl. I love you yn. With all m heart. Your my future and probably the love of my life." He says chuckling into the phone.

That causes you to giggle and you feel all flustered. "I guess I'll see you at the Interview?"

"Yea, I'll see you there."

"Bye Charlie."

"Bye baby."

Your mood suddenly lifts at his voice. At the way he called you baby, pretty girl and the way he comforted you. God what did you do to deserve a man like Charlie.

You decide to text the groups chat and let everyone know your ok. Finally you check the time and start to get ready. You ordered some breakfast and indulged while you watched some TikTok.

My favorite types of fics to beta? Mmm, I'd say I like to beta fics with a nice balance of suspense, comedy, action and emotion (familial, friendship, romance, etc). To be honest, that's my favorite kind of fic in general

Most common formatting and/or grammar flaws I see in fic? Oh, I've got Thoughts On This™️, hehe. The most common formatting error I've seen is The Off-putting Solid Wall Of Text, which can be fixed on Ao3 by following the steps detailed in this post.

The most common grammatical errors I see are random switches from, hmmm, the narrative perspective (don't @ me my brain can't do terminology XD)? By which I mean: "[character] descended from the top of the building by sliding down it with their hand dug into a groove in the wall to slow their descent, because you wouldn't want to drop straight down to the ground" a writer will switch from describing events to having a conversation with the reader or vice versa. Please remember to keep your narration consistent, dear writers. Even if you don't have a beta, perhaps have a friend read over your chapter before posting, or read your chapter backwards (like, read the last paragraph first, and work back from there), this method has come in clutch for me as a beta, actually. It helps me spot when my own edits don't make sense or I've missed an error.

This has gotten a mite long, so I'll save other grammar flaws for another asker, hehe.

Physical description: I’m 4’11 with medium length, wavy/curly, dark brown hair. I have brown eyes and a round face, with a small nose, and freckles! I’m very pale and the sun is my nemesis. I would say I’m on the curvier side and I have visible tattoos all over my arms and on my thighs.

I’m a highly emotional person! Crying is my response to all my major emotions: happiness, anger, sadness, etc. I also struggle with depression, an undiagnosed attention disorder, and generalized anxiety disorder.

Interests: I’m a big reader, I love poetry and sci-fi and classic literature too! I’m also a ceramicist, illustrator, and motion graphics designer. i spent the last hours reading tessellate from the start so i just wanted to drop a little love because eeeeeee i like it so much!!! first off all ur characters are a hit!! dynamic personalities, and they all mesh with one another really well in interesting ways. it all feels like a little peek into the lives of random people and sometimes that all you really need babey! i'm excited to see where you go with things especially with atlas, dan (my beloved), also the way that there are multiple storylines/ a large cast of characters yet i never feel overwhelmed <3333 and ofc visually, the post are lovely. the one juxtaposing frances and atlas coping...u know you ate with that. that last closeup with ares and dan with the lighter and frances's recital?? so pretty!! stapled in the brain.

on a less serious note, frances and icarus SAVE ME i like their dynamic so much their interactions seem very organic and fun. a friends to lovers (would they fall under that category..ik he's her boss but they're friendssss) for the ages. i feel like with a name like icarus things are destined to get messy between them and im afraid of it but also im not....but also i need only good things to happen to frances always, tu sabes. and its so funny that i finally read this after you mapped out their first kiss scene, bc i would not have survived the irl four years of building their relationship up godbless <3 also BEEE!!! sorry i just remembered i love bee and i hope she stands up to her boss at work one of these days (and gets whatever she wants for the rest of her life despite how inadvisable it may be at the moment :) )

this seriously made my evening i think i reread this about ten times!! i honestly had to retype this message several times because just being able to receive commentary like this is everything. a lot of these characters have been with me for such a long time so to be able to share the little dudes livin their lives AND have people enjoy it??? AWESOME! a lot of the scenes you mentioned are also seared in my mind forever LMAO especially the scene between frances and atlas. i think the week i was gathering everything to shoot it, i completely scrapped the original and the parallels post was a complete spur of the moment thing but i'm glad it happened GAH i'm so excited to share more in the future <3 also with icarus and frances, they're actually my most difficult pair to write for simply because initially (in my ts3 days) icarus was supposed to be such a small part but they had such a good dynamic i had to expand that! so he's a fairly new character for me!

7) What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Lacrimosa's perfume triggers nostalgia of her aunt. Something simple yet not too intoxicating, it's comforting in a nightmarish fashion...Celeste doesn't know how to feel about that.

13) What color do they think they look best in? Do that actually look best in that color?

Her signature color would definitely be rose pink. I've yet to play around with her design, but considering her darker color palette, a lighter contrast is nice. However, the color she looks best in right now is white, black and red <3

19) What is their favorite number?

#12! That's the month and day her and her husband got married. They got married on 12/12/25! :)

20) If they were asked to explain the difference between romantic and platonic or familial love, how would they do so?

*sweats nervously in bestie I don't know this myself but I'm still gonna try to answer* HONESTLY, the best way for her to describe it is how familial is where you don't marry your damn cousion it relates to family and genetics. Romantic is considerably the feelings of being more than just friends and sharing a deeper bond. Platonic is friendship, but it can include physical touch like hugs, hand holding, etc.!

30) Who do they most regret meeting?

Oooooh, yikes. Either Mordecai because of how he shot James, and she see James as a father figure, or Lacrimosa because of how...persuasive she can be. *cough* manipulative *cough*

B) What inspired you to create them?

I was honestly really spontaneous, but at the same time I wanted to practice more in the LD style! Plus, I had already referenced her in earlier chapters, so I just had to come up with her...plus, I still need to release her official design. She's honestly very cute, and every time I describe her eyes, I type out "pumpkin eyes" because of how they're orange :)

E) Are they someone you would get along with? Would they get along with you?

I would like to think she and I would get along! Our love of music and other fine arts would be a good thing. I also kinda see her as an older sister figure so YES we'd get along! Honestly in this Tumblr/cartoon universe, I consider all of the Rose Brigade to be familial to me: Lacrimosa is the mother/grandmother, Mandisa is the aunt/mother, James is the uncle/father, Silas and Raquelle are definitely the siblings, and Celeste is an older sister. I hope I'm not weird for this! <333

Mao is kind of a closeted otaku, or former? They were a hikikomori/shut-in for almost a decade and while they were in solitude, they were very much into anime and manga, idols, video games and MMOs. So, nowadays, they'll still watch anime and play video games but not to that same extreme. They have one craft hobby that they're not very good at and its needle felting, they love doing it despite nothing ever turning out good and constantly stabbing their fingers.

SO THE MATSUS WOAH MOMMA (Ill be 100% honest, I haven't gotten far enough into development/writing my fic to that Mao has fleshed out relationships with the other boys (its a slow/mid-burn and they hardly know the boys outside of Ichi at the point I'm at rn) so im gonna write how their relationships are now and how i hope i might be able to mold them in the future)

Osomatsu They atm don't have much of a dynamic, he's one of the brothers they know the least, but they've picked up that he's a bit cheeky and... not abrasive, maybe a little pushy? But not in a bad way, a neutral way. In the future, I do really want them to be closer, specifically I want to explore how the two would be drunk together. Mao doesn't drink often because, like Ichi, they're a lightweight but they'll get carried away and also tend to black out, so they don't. BUT they also get a lot more loosey goosey and are a bit more silly and confident, and deep down they're kinda vulgar so I think they'd be able to drunkenly joke together? NOT SURE YET.

Karamatsu OK So this is the dynamic I haven't touched on AT ALL, so I am really at a loss... I think they would find him funny in an ironic kind of way. I think they would want to genuinely be nice to him and encourage him, but would see how Ichi seems to think he's 'cringe' and would probably be like "aw, c'mon Ichimatsu, let him cook' or something to that effect. They're also jealous of the fact he can like, sparkle and shit.

Choromatsu OKAY OKAY AS MUCH as I dislike Choromatsu, I'm kind of excited to talk abt this. So currently they have not a CLUE abt Choro, no dynamic at all, HOWEVER!! These two have the most overlap in terms of interests (see above) so I'm genuinely excited to write how these two will interact abt otaku stuff BECAUSE they are going to rip him a fucking new one, say his fictional waifu is trash (yes i know he's mainly an idol otaku but you cant deny the fucker has some anime/light novel waifu he likes or something), and say his taste in content is sub par, but there is going to be one thing, ONE SINGLE THING that they agree on and its something they both hate and hate watch for the same reasons....

Jyushimatsu EEEEEEE SUNSHINE BOY!!!!! He's one of the ones they're had more contact with atm and they think he's absolutely delightful. They truly don't comprehend how the two are identical but are such polar opposites. Well they do, but they also kinda don't (they're an only child) and they think that their friendship/brother ship is so cute. Jyushi is also the only one Ichimatsu brings up in conversation /pos, any of the others he'll complain about. Mao thinks he is so silly goofy and admires his baseball autism passion. I want them to be closer and sillier friends, like one of Mao's favorite things to do is laugh, and yes Ichi makes them laugh in his own way, but Jyushi's way of doing it is different, not better, different.

Todomatsu He's a bitch. A total... little .... bitch. So, atm, Mao thinks he's a little knife cat bitch who uses his cuteness to manipulate, but ultimately these two are gonna get along great... eventually.... I just don't know how.... Something something fashion, something something hair (I kinda wanna steal/incorporate @ oh-gh0st's headcanon that Totty is into doing hair stuff) so I think he would help them bleach and dye their roots when they come in? Maybe?? I dunno I also just see them gossiping together... about something... i dunno

Reread the 3rd chapter of your ll au and I still stand by my last ask but now I am REALLY thinking about Grian's commitment to protecting Scar like it is in his blood to protect him, the parts where he was just calculating and checking "what's the best plan to prtect Scar? what to do if the others attack? is Scar hurt?" is running through my head just going wild and going hehe haha because all the man knows is to protect Scar at this point. This Grian is perpetually stuck in that desert, including the cactus ring seeing as he got a little flashback to 3rdl!Scar's dead body

other than that I have also been wondering about the Southlands like what are they going to do when they hear about this
