This is the first time I've used water on my watercolor pencils. In the past, the watercolors I've used have had chalky finishes and weren't easy to use, so maybe that's why I was discouraged to try again. But the colors I got from the pencils were so vibrant when they dried! I seriously recommend trying it out. I used Arteza.
