El programa Juguemos Limpio, fundado en 2007, fue creado con el objetivo de apoyar a mujeres de diversas comunidades, brindándoles insumos para el hogar a cambio del acopio de materiales reciclables y así promover la economía circular sostenible. Actualmente se han beneficiado a más de tres mil guatemaltecos, a través del acopio de envases PET y que INGRUP ha reciclado en su planta ECOPET. Este programa involucra a más de 600 voluntarias que trabajan en el acopio de plástico reciclable en los departamentos de Escuintla, Santa Rosa y, a partir de ahora, en el Departamento de El Progreso. “En INGRUP, reafirmamos nuestro compromiso con el cuidado del planeta, ampliando el Programa Juguemos Limpio al Departamento de El Progreso, en alianza con Biosferagt, Institución que comparte nuestro objetivo de cuidar el medio ambiente. En tan solo unos meses de haber iniciado el Programa, ya contamos con 100 nuevas voluntarias que han logrado recolectar más de 200 mil envases PET mensuales, fortaleciendo la educación y cultura del reciclaje” comentó Rodolfo Bollat, Vocero de INGRUP. El Programa Juguemos Limpio impacta a siete comunidades de los municipios de Guastatoya, Sanarate y San Antonio La Paz, en el Departamento de El Progreso. El programa brinda grandes beneficios, porque aparte de mantener limpia las comunidades de las voluntarias, estas reciben beneficios de víveres y esto es un gran aporte para sus familias. En el Día Internacional del Reciclaje, INGRUP reafirma su compromiso con el planeta y la promoción de una economía circular sostenible. Japanese streetwear brand “MYOB” rebranded more ecofriendly

“MYOB” is a brand originally launched in New York in 2009 as an accessory shop. Initially, MYOB, which stands for "Mind Your Own Business", started to propose unique street fashion wears. 

From the 2020AW Collection, it was rebranded and reborn as a new line "cycle" by Japanese designer Comi. This name includes COMI's thought that "People I have met and all things I experienced have all connected, so we are cycling (rotating)".

Comi changed the brand name to “Cycle By MYOB” to start making more environmentally friendly products. This time, she announced the 2021 Spring / Summer collection with the concept of "Earth Energy".

In this second season of the collection, they have a relaxed mood and more earth tones items. About 50% of the items made from sustainable materials such as recycled polyester and organic cotton.

While repeatedly trying out samples from Japanese textile manufacturers, they used recycled polyester "Ecopet" for the earth-colored jacket to achieve a big silhouette with elasticity. In addition, polyester fabric using organic cotton and recycled fiber is used.

Comi says that her interest in the environmental issue has increased as she has been exposed to various information such as plastic waste and sewage problems. She explained the brand's belief is to express environmental problems casually and uniquely.

For this reason, Comi was particular about using fabrics that reduce the environmental burden as much as possible while maintaining the street style that he wants to express.
