The rise of side hustle among young people, was triggered by high economic demands to live up to the standard they have set for themselves, it is an economic race without no line to finish. The labour market is tough, it is multiple chase for jobs for which has formed the trend among young employees who are hungry for success in life. In Africa, students who train themselves always resort to that, to keep up with high economic demands at the university, which outcome leads to absence at school, spending most of the time outside the university to stay through the process, it is a healthy chase which often time is compromised.

The shift in chase for financial stability has shaped the minds of crop of employees the world have today, there is so much believe that one job is not enough for fulfilling career life, as opposed what the practice used to be. The rise of side hustle gives room for talent exploits, on the course to keep the mind busy economically, it is all creativity to continue developing the scope. After the pandemic, the chase for side hustle increased regarding the uncertainty surrounding economic activities and how it has affected the standard of living, the original aim of side hustle to supplement the main job, but now it seems that side hustle bring more income that the main job, giving employees reason to develop on the former.

It is borne out of economic survival to meet up with high economic demands, it is a whole lot of effort keep family up and running, and other projects which the family are benefactors of, tech industry is providing flexibility for young workers, especially those who are inquisitive to explore every opportunity at their tasks, it is broad line between career and passion, and side hustle due to the versatility allows young workers to invest in their passion as they build on their all-round economic flow to quench economic uncertainties, which at most if it reached the extent of sacking they can see something to lean on.

The fulcrum of side hustle is inspired by quest for financial stability, young workers coming into workplace are hungry for success, they are excited to do many jobs as long as their strengths can carry them, while the primary aim is to keep up financial obligations, it also creates avenue for experience and knowledge and your scope of learning, which can be seen through evolving to adapt to the environment. With bleak of hope for young Africans, in pursuit for job after university graduation, they are determined to develop their side hustle, which they can lean on during dark times in search of job.
