I need help
I need to get back into fitness. I saw some old photos of me and I was SO SKINNY. and now I feel largeeee. I’ve gained all my weight back and then some. I’m going to keep my other blog active now and I’d really love an accountibility buddy. Follow me @eclosesweight and we can help each other, and honestly I need people to cheer me on. I find it so hard to find motivation anymore because I’m like “why try if I’m going to end up like this again”..

Goal Weight 1: 165 (6lbs away)
Goal Weight 2: 160 (11lbs away)
Goal Weight 3: 155 (16lbs away)
Goal Weight 4: 150 (21lbs away)
Goal Weight 5: 145 (26lbs away)
Goal Weight 6: 140 (31lbs away)
Goal Weight 7: 135 (36lbs away)
Goal Weight 8: 130 (41lbs away)
For now I think these goals are good, and hopefully having smaller goals in mind will help me keep going and be more disciplined, and maybe for every 10 lbs I will set something else to treat myself, but I don’t know yet.

Weightloss Journey Life hack!
I looooovvveeee using these in my iced coffee in the morning. 1g of sugar are you kidding?!? Most days I do about half a shake and a cup of coffee on ice and have an apple around 10am and I’m set for breakfast.
These are a super awesome creamer substitute in my opinion! They taste just like a Starbucks drink with way less sugar

MEATLESS MONDAY!
Here’s a recipe you can try! Sweet potato enchilada bake!
I made this in a pan but it’s also yummy in the oven in little skillets or in the crockpot.
Ingredients:
1 sweet potato - cubed
A little bell pepper (I was saving some for another recipe)
1 can black beans
Seven grain rice
Spinach
Sauce = fajita sauce and some salsa verde
Basically just cook it all in a pan and put a little cheese to serve. So yummy.

BREAKFAST!
I had a hard time falling asleep last night. Because I knew the pressure was on because I wanted to get up early. I tried using a guided meditation app but I couldn’t find a good one.
My goal was to wake up by 6:45am this morning. Throughout the month I’m going to gradually get earlier. And i woke up at 6:30! Proud. So I had time to make breakfast.
This is my go-to fill-me-up breakfast. It’s an egg sandwich with whole grain thin bun, egg beaters, spinach, ham, and 1 slice of cheese. Oh and a big glass of water
About 282 cal, 9g fat, 25g protein
I’m so excited that I got this microwave egg cooker. It makes like so much easier. Once it’s done I pop it in the pan for a few seconds to make it look like food again.

Mini Grocery Haul!
Just had to pick up a few fresh things from the store to get me through the week.
Coffee cups
Vanilla Greek yogurt
Snap peas
Broccoli
Low fat cream cheese
2 bell peppers
Tricolored Bow tie pasta
Oats and dark chocolate granola (I’m hoping this will curb some late night sweetness cravings with some yogurt)
3 coconut bai waters (these are really yummy for low cal/low sugar drinks especially if you don’t like carbonation like I do and what some flavor other than water. They have lots of flavors but I personally add the coconut ones to my smoothies)
Romaine
Bananas
Frozen mixed berries
Oh and I stole a handful of cuties from my moms fridge this morning (not pictured 😂)

Friday!
Yay! We made it! How were you on your goals? I feel like I did pretty well? I went to the gym when I planned and stuck to my preplanned menu.
Here’s my “reward” : a small cut of steak with sweet potato tots and baked Brüssel sprouts. SO. YUMMY.

Finding motivation is so hard. But just remember even if you get five minutes in it’s better than nothing! Try the five minute rule. Workout for five minutes and ask yourself, can I do five more? YES. Keep doing this until you hit 30-45 min total. It will fly by. Break up your workouts. Don’t do the same thing it will seem to drag on forever. And remember. YOU. GOT. THIS.

Weigh In Wednesday
Starting weight: 252.8 lbs (Jan 3)
Current weight: 250.8 lbs (Feb 6)
Total Loss: -2.0lbs
Goal weight: 240 by March 15
Okay so I was kind of sad to still not be under 250, but as I’m writing this I’m still under my starting weight! I got off track in January with wedding planning and interview for jobs that left me traveling for at least 4 days of the week, so it got me a little odd schedule. But I’m feeling really good about my workouts lately, and still aiming toward eating better. 
Side note. I put it off for a while because I thought it was going to be dumb and make me feel bad but I watched Mykie/ Glam and Gore’s video on her weight loss/ strength training and it was really inspirational. I’m a lot like her were I want to be strong. I want muscles and I want to feel confident. I have to keep that in my head to stay FOCUSED. She even admitted she had a month off of progress AND THAT’S OKAY.

Sober January
Anyone want to take this challenge with me? I’m not a huge drinker. I rarely find myself reaching for a beer when I get home. I think it’s because I dont like drinking anything flavored while I’m eating. That’s why I drink so much water. But every once and a while I’ll go out.
I’m trying to think back to my freshman year when I lost so much weight. Yes I was much stricter with my diet and exercise, but I also never had a sip of alcohol. Then as I started drinking more I didn’t lose the weight even with all of the effort I was putting in. I pretty much plateaued.
It could be a number of factors, but I want to cut alcohol out for at least a month. See if it helps, and if it does then cut it out as much as I can, allowing myself a glass or two on special occasions. And also looking for lower calorie options 😬 (I like vodka lacroixs)
Thoughts? Do you think it will change much? Should I focus my efforts elsewhere?

Starting weight: 252.8 lbs (Jan 3)
Current weight: 250.6 lbs (Jan 8)
Loss: -2.2lbs
Goal weight: 240
(I’ve started to make tiny incrament goal weights. It seems so much more achievable. How much do i really want to lose? 67lbs. But right now that’s a big number. Each time I hit my goal weight I’ll drop it another 10lbs until I make my goal! Hopefully before or around Oct 2019. And if I don’t make it all the way there then at least I still made huge progress and met all my other mini goals!)
