Do you think Sneep is artistic? What form of media do you think he favors?

I'd argue that creating spells and experimenting with potion is totally an art form. He possesses the yearning to create. Similarly to painting for example, it requires discipline, patience, skills and imagination.

And Severus is someone who appreciates his solitude so in the event of him surviving the war and starting a new hobby (which would mean he's not just mopping somewhere) I'm gonna go ahead and again say : taxidermy. Be it bugs, weird magical creatures he'd put in jars and everything.

Because (to me) this is an art form AND there's something academical to it. Also it's quite precise, requires patience, it's a bit eerie... We know he's got so many jars of creepy stuff in his office, so as he experiments with specific potion ingredients, I could see him be like 'uhm, i'd like to keep a specimen of that one'.

Something about him being a collector of creepiness suits him I think.

I'm having a harder time seeing him paint or draw, but if he did, it would be fucking creepy and gory shit. And I'd love that going for him.

Or... write poetry.

there is something im trying to do but i dont know what the technique is called and im having trouble finding it online

in inkscape, an adobe illustrator dupe, im trying to take shape A and use it to delete a portion of shape B. so say i have overlapping circles, i want the overlapping bit of whatever circle is on the bottom to be deleted. Does anyone know what this is called so i can search for it or how to do it?

doing a first-pass of figuring out all the different shapes in Lucanis' tarot card to figure out making it into an embroidery and fucking hell... theres so many weird lines... how did i miss the og artist got away with not actually showing any hand details esp on the forward one 😂 good for them but that does NOT translate to stained glass or embroidery style so now fuck me i guess 😭

Id: an orange satin bomber jacket with yellow waistband and cuffs that is embroidered with many different kinds of flowers and plants, including lavender, strawberry plants, thistle, peonies, and daisies. Many stitches are used, such as stem stitches, satin stitches, and French knots.

I think this is the coolest surface embroidery I’ve ever done. usually I stitch to counted embroidery but I sewed the jacket and thought that it would be really cool to have flowers growing out of the waistband all the way around.

Im planning to embroider a hijab. The navy hijab I ordered is a little darker than I had hoped for but I think I can make it work. Now I have to like. Actually plan the embroidery though 😭

i like the idea that in post bg3 canon between the two of them, it’s astarion who goes shopping a lot and he buys a lot of pretty nonsensical things just because he likes it. i do think he’s the sentimental type though, and say he might buy himself a pretty pair of boots but then he’d still reach for his old worn out ones just because he likes to wear those despite getting himself that new pair. anyway I like the idea of him buying himself new and pretty things, and he has a good eye for fabric and sewing technicality so that’s what he looks out for and he just relies on her to judge if it looks good on him or not.

on the flip side I don’t think shri’iia is the type to splurge. I think she just likes having money loool and she likes having things for the sake of having them she’s kind of a loot goblin in that aspect, and she’s usually so stingy but when it comes to the people she likes she’s the type to spoil them. but shri’iia surprisingly isn’t the type to buy herself new things all the time! she’s quite practical ; she likes her finery ofc but if she already has something for herself then she’s not in a rush to replace it or get something new. but anyway i also like the idea that she gets astarion’s old jacket/doublet/etc. when he’s finally replacing his old one and he just tailors it to fit her/repurposes it to fit her style too. and I think she likes that better than buying something new 🤭 since she gets to wear something that has his scent hehe 🤭🤗 and it’s more special when it was something he cherished before but he’s giving it to her.
