Early morning dwindles

My sleep gets swindled

Tired, lying awake.

Unsure of my mistakes

Can't sleep now

Eyes take a bow.

Time for rest

Mind should think less

Value your family. I got inspired to write this poem one evening as I was riding the F-train to the city, I saw this family of four and how they talk and chat and eat on the train, but what caught my attention is the love and happiness among them. Seem to me like there were friends. All am trying to say is that you have to value every one of your siblings and families. Is it nap time yet?

My baby is loud Wishing I could still sleep in Thank god for coffee

I hold too many regrets

I'll die sooner before I even forget.

Long nights

Filled with dark lights

What I'm holding in

Like I've made a grave sin

I'd rather not part

With pieces of my heart.

Stripped from my chest

Then diced into a bloody mess

Take my heart whole

It's already beaten with a toll

I want someone to fulfill this role.

Letter to my Crush

When I see your smile

it gives me a feeling of joy,

a feeling that lasts for a while. 

Joy so strong I smile too,

I don't know why I get that way,

I know it'd be great to get to know you.

In person it's so hard to say.

Your eyes and your smile are beautiful,

as is everything else about you. 

You leave me feeling somewhat bashful. 

I can go on about these great things about you

but I should just cut it  short and say,

"I've got a little crush on you."

Disaster

I've always been a disaster, but now I need you more than anything to calm this storm. I'm tired of raging and ripping through everything, I just want solace. I need you to be the rainbow after I tear this place down. I want you to take my hand and wait out this storm with me. You bring peace to this disastrous storm

I like to think I’m invincible To every shade of gray. And for withholding color, I know I’ll surely pay. And as long as I can, I’ll smudge the bordering ink That enjoys keeping me trapped And causes my soul to sink.
