🌘 DISCUSSION RULES 🌖
🌙 RULE 1 :
Discriminating behavior towards anyone in the blog will NOT be tolerated. Regardless of their Opinion, Headcanon or Ship. If we see any insult, slur or indication of malicious intentions, only then, will there be consequences. All TSBS confessions are welcome, we don't do EAPS only!
🌙 RULE 2 :
People, misunderstandings happen all the time, there is no need to get so defensive. If you feel like something is not of your taste, just block the person or tag. IF the problem is rooted rather in actions and not taste, make sure to contact the blog so we can interfere.
🌙 RULE 3 :
No matter what, do not share sensitive media of yourself or anyone to us. We are strangers on the internet, regardless of everything, there's always danger and we can't prevent it. Even if you actively avoid/dislike said individual, it gives you no right to call them out and name drop them in public websites because of a disagreement.
🌙 RULE 4 :
This blog is not connected to the TSBS confessionverse. It is inspired by it, but since we don't have contact with the rest, we can't claim the blog canon to theirs! If they ever wish to contact and welcome us in their confession family however, we would be more than happy to join!
🌙 RULE 5 :
We are open to roleplays of all sorts, but we can't promise we would be actively doing that. There's not much to add here, simply when seeing a roleplay happen on this blog don't intrude randomly without asking for permission.
(Side Note: This blog is run by two people, Vin'nyl as Moonstone and Ruby as Sunshine. We are MINORS so please avoid confessing suggestive content to us.)

MAF EAP Holiday Blues and SAD: Discussion
The winter months provide some of the biggest challenges to wellness during the year. The stress of the holidays, the pressure of the new year, and the risk of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) take a toll and can become problematic if we do not care for ourselves. These stressors can impact appropriate healthy practices, related to […] from NASA https://ift.tt/vxm89YN

Man oh man, after yesterday’s episode of EAPS i am so annoyed. I never think it can get worse but it always does.
I saw everyone in the comments talking about how ‘no one is in the right here, Sun and Moon were too pushy, and Puppet should’ve been more calm.’ but lets be realistic for a second- Sun and Moon had NO way of knowing anything about what happened with puppet and magic and everything. They weren’t even curious about stuff with fighting really (other than the one comment about like, a fireball or something?) sunshine just wanted to see sparkles.
s p a r k l e s.
they were asking eclipse about werewolves and vampires like- dude. Moon has repeatedly said he has zero interest in dimensional stuff?? Just tell him magic is part of that stuff and he’ll leave it be!
Also- when Puppet came to apologise for, in her words, ‘Blowing up a bit’ (A BIT?? YOU YELLED AT THEM SO MUCH???) i’m pretty sure i didn’t hear a single apology once. Not to mention, Foxy just immediately defended her actions with no regard for how he or puppet were acting towards Sunshine and Moonlight.
I was hoping so badly that when puppet came to the daycare that moon just like, banned her from talking to sun because he was upset. that would’ve been such a sweet moment to me :’]
I understand it’s a difficult topic but just say you have a bad past with it and are uncomfortable discussing it and they’ll most likely leave it at that. (Moon at least, Sun is a bit more oblivious but i’m sure Moon could explain easily)
So much for what she told eclipse about how ‘your trauma doesn’t give you an excuse to treat people badly’.
#these shows should all be renamed ‘ hypocrites making bad choices for 20 minutes a day’#i love them all i’m just annoyed by their actions rn lol#eclipse and puppet show#eaps#eaps puppet#eaps sun#eaps moon#tsams#sun and moon show#the sun and moon show

hello! i was just wondering where your reading TCF / LCF? i can't find a good place to read it that has a good version of it
Currently, you have 3 ways to read TCF. I am talking about the book of course, since the manhwa is a separate adaptation of the story.
First option, for Korean readers, is on Munpia. It is the original source where the author uploads chapters 3 days a week: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Of course, you have to pay for it, which I personally do despite not knowing Korean, to support the author in the most direct way possible. It is as of today running for 1156 chapters. I know there are raws out there for the newest chapters, but I haven't read them myself. I just keep up with the community and learn about the storyline live as the chapters come out and people discuss them on discord.
Second option is on Eat Apple Pies site, which is in English and for free. Of course, due to being "unofficial", you can imagine it is not the most polished translation. However, it is readable and currently has 924 chapters, not counting those they have available on their Patreon.
Your third option is the most recent release of official English translation. There is currently 1 volume out (available in US stores such as Barnes and Noble and Amazon), which covers 42 chapters converted into 9, both available in e-book and paperback versions, only paid for of course. While I am still in the process of reading and reviewing it myself, I have very good opinion on it; that is is better translated and polished, and I also have it on good authority that it is better for dyslexic readers. ...I have to mention though that the way the names are translated are an entirely separate matter (like the fact that they translated the title as "Lout of Count's Family", without even leaving any "the's"), which is a topic I won't fully dive into just yet. Still, the official translation is solid and highly recommended. We are going to be getting a new English volume release every 3 months, so Volume 2 is scheduled to come out on December 1st.
I hope this helps! Please support the author, but I would be a hypocrite if I said not to read the free EAP version. Especially since the new, official version is essentially translated by the exact same person: Henry Shin, also known as MiracleRifle. So the same person did both English versions (with second person's help with the new one, but MiracleRifle is still listed as the primary translator and it shows), they just got to improve with time and make the official one better. Henry was not responsible for the name changes though. That's a whole other can of worms I'll get to in the future.

Me: *believes to know the answer, but determined to get it double-checked just in case*
-EAP's version
-MUNPIA's version
Me: ok, let's check it with Google Translate first...
Me: ...well ok, but I don't really trust Google Translate anyway, that site's trash. Let's try DeepL Translate, it rarely ever led me astra-
Me: ...woooookay then, I guess I was wrong!
Looks like EAP got it wrong and it should actually be LSH teaching KRS the lesson, not the other way around. Sorry for the confusion, folks! Blame EAP error, we all make mistakes sometimes! It probably makes more sense this way anyway
I often ponder who originally uttered the phrase "you have to pay for your meals." Was it Rok Soo or Soo Hyuk? When Choi Han inherited Jung Soo's memories, he claimed that Kim Rok Soo and Cale Henituse were one and the same due to this statement. However, when Cale encountered Soo Hyuk, he retorted, "Have you forgotten who taught you that, punk?" I find myself quite perplexed by the situation.
#tcf#trash of the count's family#lcf#lout of count's family#translation#translation errors#in case you have any doubts i also checked Papago#so 3/3 translation sites vote EAP got it wrong#discard whatever i said in the past#apparently it was the other way around and i was wrong last time i discussed this topic#i admit to mistakes when proven wrong with grace!!

And question just wanna know your opinion on this? What do you think of the ship EAPs Vincent and Eclipse V.4?
[I honestly was nervous coming in here asking but since I follow you on Twitter I decided the build the confidence the ask here]
hello!
This is honestly my first time hearing about a ship between these two, buuuut-
There's not exactly much I can say, since I don't really have an opinion about it, but I don't see anything wrong with it. Just be respectful and safe.
But truthfully, I'm not personally comfortable discussing non-canon TSBS ships (excluding Kids Cove as that is partially canon in other dimensions)-
So just making a quick and friendly note to everyone that I would prefer not to be asked for any opinions about TSBS ships in the future ^^ (op if you see this you're fine, you've done nothing wrong! it's just a general statement /g)

Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created - a chance to see your fanworks on display in a museum
Mark Heresy, American, b. 1965. Will to Power (detail), 1992, Ink on paper, 28 x 22 in, 2000.11.5, Gift of Peter Norton, Collection of the Haggerty Museum of Art, Marquette University
Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created, an exhibition of fine art pieces and the fanworks inspired by them, will run from August 23rd through December 22nd, 2024, at Marquette University’s Haggerty Museum of Art, as well as online. This exhibition considers “creation” as the line between casual enjoyment and fandom. Fans are not passive; fans create. Fans from any and all fandoms are challenged to create fanworks inspired by both their fandom and one of 14 fine art pieces from the Haggerty’s permanent collection. Visitors to the museum and to the online version of the exhibition will be able to see submitted fanworks displayed digitally alongside the fine art pieces hung in the gallery, and will be asked to consider whether the fan creations are affirmational or transformational—that is, do they affirm the fan object as it is, or transform it into something new? Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created also happens to be the keystone of my dissertation project.
My research focuses on the kinds of things that fans create, the ways in which fans and academics consider those creations, and the various ways fans are compensated for the work they complete. “The kinds of things that fans create” includes not only tangible creations—like fanfiction, fan art, cosplay, and collections—but also immaterial creations—like rules, rivalries, relationships, political movements, identities, histories, emotional responses, theories, community, meanings, alternative readings, and play. I am hoping fans will submit a plethora of different forms of tangible fanworks; I have already received art, fiction, original music, nail art, cross-stitch, cosplay, and more. Intangible fanworks are more difficult to gather and display; however, once Affirmation/Transformation opens in the fall, I will be conducting ethnographic research with fans regarding their experience with both tangible and intangible fan creations. Through my research, I hope to further break down what I see as an unnatural barrier between affirmational and transformational fandom, and expand on the ways in which all fanworks both affirm and transform their fan objects. Additionally, I will be investigating the various ways fans are compensated for their fannish labor.
In business, the idea of non-monetary compensation is commonly discussed. Things like benefits, time off, employee assistance programs, discounts, and other employer-provided perks are discussed as a part of an employee’s “total compensation package.” Yet, in most fan studies texts, fan labor is referred to as totally unpaid. At best, fanworks are discussed within the context of a gift economy: fans make fanworks as gifts, and are gifted more fanworks in return. I don’t disagree with this assessment of fan compensation—I personally consider each fanwork submitted to Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created to be a gift towards the completion of my dissertation—but it does not seem to go far enough. The “compensation” fans receive extends far beyond the (albeit massive) “gift” of the vast archives of fanfiction and fan art housed on sites like AO3 and Tumblr. Compensation can be social, emotional, communal, psychological, developmental, and beyond. If access to an EAP is considered part of the compensation package offered by a corporation, then should not access to a network of individuals within a fandom—all in possession of their own knowledge and expertise—be considered as similar compensation? Fans provide mutual aid for those in their community in ways often above and beyond what a business might do for an employee facing a period of struggle. Perhaps I am just a “cultural dupe,” but I feel I’ve gotten just as much or more from my fandom as compared to what I’ve put in, and I struggle to be fully convinced that my labor is being exploited for the mass media’s hegemony.
Through my scholarship, I hope to contribute to ongoing fan studies research through the further analysis of these alternate forms of compensation, as well as through the cataloging and archiving of fanworks as valid, artistic texts worthy of academic consideration. Not only will the fanworks submitted Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created be displayed as a part of the exhibition, but they will also be archived with my dissertation in Marquette University’s institutional repository, preserving them for at least as long as the University exists and making them available for further academic study. Fan submissions for Affirmation/Transformation: Fandom Created are being accepted now, and will continue to be accepted through the close of the exhibition (December 22, 2024). In order to be on display in the gallery on opening night (August 23, 2024), fanworks must be submitted by August 1st. All types of fanworks are welcome, as long as they are submitted digitally. Sound will be available to be played in the gallery (fanworks will be displayed on tablets with headphones attached). Stained Glass Windows - Chapter Seventy Nine
Life was complicated, but they wouldn't have it any other way.
-x-
Hi friends <3
Sorry for the delay in getting this chapter out! Special shout out to the anon here on Tumblr who told me they were glad I'd 'given up on this story' and that they hoped I'd 'start writing real stories now.'
If there's one thing I am, it's petty to my core. So thanks for the kick up the butt to update this for all the people who enjoy this fic, and all those who love this version of them as much as I do <3
As always, let me know what you think!
-x-
Words: 2.1k
A full list of warnings for the fic can be found on the Series Master List.
Read over on Ao3, or below the cut
Aaron knew something was wrong the moment he walked into Strauss’s office, before they even left for the case. He had a feeling he knew what it was, familiar dread climbing up the back of his neck, the weight of responsibility getting heavier on his shoulders with each passing interaction with her, but he hoped he was wrong. He pairs her with Derek because he knew that out of everyone on his team, he’d be the one to raise any concerns with him and report anything he deemed a concern.
As Derek tells him that he’d smelt alcohol on her breath, that she’d been drinking on the job, Aaron tightens his jaw and nods, his hands on his hips, “She was getting help, I’m going to have to call the EAP.”
Derek frowns at him, his eyebrows furrowing, “You knew? You knew and you didn’t report anything?”
“She was getting help,” Aaron repeats, staring the other man down, “I didn’t see the need to ruin her life, her career, over something she told me would no longer be an issue. But now I will report this to the relevant people.” He tries to step past him but Derek stops him, his eyebrows furrowed as he scoffs.
“And how can I trust that you’ll do that this time? That you won’t just sweep this under the rug?”
Aaron clenches his jaw, looking around them to ensure they are still alone, and he lowers his voice, “I will report it. When we get back to DC,” he goes to step past him but stops, turning back to look at him, “Addiction is complicated, Derek. Not everything is black and white.”
Derek shakes his head, “Hotch-”
“This isn’t a discussion, Morgan. We’ll deal with it when we get back - you can help me talk to her if you want, if you can’t trust that I’ll do it alone, but right now we need to put the case first.”
Derek clenches his jaw, but he nods, a short and sharp thing that Aaron returns before they go in separate directions. He shakes his head and gives himself a moment to pull himself back together so he can be the leader his team needs. His phone rings and he checks his watch as he pulls it out of his pocket, a smile already spreading across his face when he sees Emily’s name on his screen accompanied by a picture of her, Jack and Lily.
Right on time.
“Hi,” he says as he answers, looking around to make sure he’s alone as he walks further down the hall, desperate for a few moments with his family, a much needed reminder of all the good there was in the world.
“Hi,” Emily replies, “Someone wanted to say goodnight before she goes to bed,” she says before there’s a muffled sound on the other end, and he can picture her holding the phone to Lily’s ear, her arm around their little girl as she encourages her to speak.
“Dada!”
“Hi Lily-Pad,” he says, his eyes drifting closed as he rests his head back against the wall, the sound of his daughter’s sweet voice calming him down, the tension from his conversation with Derek already fading, “Is it bedtime?”
“No tired,” she replies, and he hears Emily laugh in the background, their daughter’s love of fighting sleep well known.
He looks around to make sure he’s still alone, “Why don’t I sing the night-night song?” He says and she squeals.
“Sing, Dada.”
“Okay,” he says, “Close your eyes and lean against Mommy, okay?” He instructs and waits a few seconds, “Have you done that?”
“Yes.”
He clears his throat and does one more check of the hallway, sure he’d ruin his credibility if he was caught singing down the phone, but his daughter’s needs came ahead of anything else - even his reputation as a hardass.
“Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful, isn't she precious, less than one minute old…”
He gets about halfway through the song before Emily interrupts him with a whisper, “She’s asleep.”
“Good,” he replies, “How are you? And Pickle?”
She hums down the phone, “We’re okay,” she says, “Pickle is giving me some insane heartburn.”
“The pregnancy friendly antacids are-”
“In the medicine cabinet,” she cuts him off, her smile clear even over the phone, “Thanks, honey. Are you okay?”
He hadn’t told Emily about Strauss. He hated keeping anything from her, and he’d almost told her a couple of times, but he stopped himself every time. He didn’t want to add to her stress, to pile on top of her anxiety with her pregnancy and everything that was going on with her mother. She’d be angry at him if she found out, when she found out, but he was doing what he thought was right.
He was protecting his family.
“I’m okay,” he replies, not sure he believes himself, “Tough case.”
She hums, and he’s sure she doesn’t believe him, but she lets it pass, “I’m sorry, honey,” she says, “You’ll solve it, you always do.”
“Yeah,” he replies, “I should get going, I’ll call you later when I’m back in my room?”
“Okay, sure,” she replies, “I love you so much.”
“I love you too,” he says, “Give Lily a kiss from me.”
“Always.”
He blows out a slow breath as he hangs up and pockets his phone, giving himself one more moment to gather himself before he finds the rest of the team.
They had a case to solve.
___
It takes another couple of days to solve the case.
He sends Emily a text to say he needs to go to the office first, giving her a half lie about paperwork to cover that he and Derek were going to speak to Strauss.
By the time he gets home, it’s late. Lily would already be in bed, but he’d sneak into her room, take a moment to watch her sleep, to lean in and kiss her head, the smell of her shampoo something that never failed to soothe him.
Emily is waiting for him in the kitchen, her smile wide as she greets him with a kiss and a glass of scotch she’d poured him when she heard his car pull onto the driveway.
“Hi sweetheart,” he says, leaning in to kiss her, kissing her again the moment he pulls back, sure he’d never get enough of her, “I missed you.”
She hums, “Missed you too,” she says, smiling when he steps back to look at her, pressing his hand to her belly.
“Hi Pickle,” he says, rubbing a circle on her bump before he looks up at Emily, “Shall we go sit down?”
She nods and they walk towards the living room, her arm linked through his as they tell each other about the last few days. She can tell he’s holding something back. He’s tense in a way he rarely was in their home and he wraps his arm around her shoulder, holding her tighter than usual.
“How are you feeling?” He asks, “Is the heartburn still bad?”
She nods, “According to Pen that means the baby is going to have a lot of hair,” she says, smiling as she turns sideways, running her hands up and down her bump, “I actually look pregnant now though. Not just like I’ve had a big meal.”
He chuckles, the sound caught in his chest as he leans in to kiss her cheek, “You look beautiful.”
Her smile fades as she watches him, concern licking under her skin as she catches his hand and squeezes it, “Is everything okay, honey?”
He sighs and closes his eyes, tempted to lie to her for the first time since they first got together. He doesn’t want to tell her this, doesn’t want her to draw comparisons between Strauss and her mother. He wants to protect her from it, not expose her to this when she is already anxious enough, but he knows she won’t thank him for it.
“Strauss has been…she’s an alcoholic. I found out a few weeks ago, I told her I wouldn’t report her if she got help,” he sits down, leaning forward so his elbows press into his thighs, a welcome distraction from the way he can feel his wife staring at him, her gaze burning into his side from where she’s standing, “Derek smelt alcohol on her breath whilst we were working.”
She presses her lips together, forcing herself to not say something she knew she’d later regret when the initial wave of anger had passed. She takes a moment to centre herself, to remind herself that whatever he’d kept from her he’d done with good intentions. She crosses her arms over her chest and clears her throat, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Why do you think, Em?” He says, with more bite than he intends, his anger dissipating into a sigh when she raises her eyebrows at him, a silent warning he knew he wouldn’t get again. He runs his fingers through his hair, “Sorry. That was…sorry,” he closes his eyes and blows out a slow breath, “I was trying to protect you.”
She scoffs, “Aaron-”
“And I know you’re going to say you don’t need protecting,” he says, looking up at her, “But you’re my wife. And you’re pregnant, and you’re already anxious because of the miscarriage. And your mom is sick, because of the same thing that Strauss is going through…” he watches as the tension in her shoulders starts to dissipate and her arms fall to her sides, “So I was trying to protect you. Because no matter how much you think you don’t need it, I think you do.”
She wants to be mad at him. Wants to yell about him making decisions for her and keeping this from her for weeks, but she can’t bring herself to. She knows he meant well, that he was just trying to protect her from something that had already caused her so much heartache.
He was just trying to love her. Something he’d done every minute of every day for years now.
She sits next to him and reaches for his hand, linking their fingers together as she raises their joint hands to kiss his knuckles, “We don’t keep things from each other, honey. Even the hard things,” she smiles sadly as she leans forward so she’s in his line of sight, “But I know your intentions were good.”
He nods and squeezes her hand, “I’m sorry, Em. I thought I was doing the right thing.”
She knows he’s not only talking about keeping this from her, but also his decision to give Strauss some leeway, to give her time to try and get help before he reported her to anyone. It was something he likely would have always done, he was a better man than most people gave him credit for, but she knew her mother’s struggle with alcohol and the impact it had on their family would have also factored into his decision.
“What’s going to happen with her?”
He leans against the back of the couch and she follows him, always chasing him no matter what, and she ends up pressed against his side, “Derek has taken her to a rehab centre. She’ll have been able to check in privately.”
Emily rests her cheek against his shoulder and hugs his arm to her chest, and she says the one thing she knows he needs to hear, “You’re a good man, Aaron.”
He scoffs, “Then why do I feel like anything but?”
She pulls back, the anger from earlier making a return like it did anyone, even him, talked badly about him, “You gave a chance, two chances. And if she does the work she’ll likely still have a career after all of this,” she says firmly, reaching up to cup his cheek, to force him to make eye contact with her, “That’s because of you.”
He leans forward and presses his forehead against hers, “I am sorry I didn’t tell you.”
She nods, “I know, baby,” she replies, stamping her lips against his, “And I understand why you did it. I love you for trying to protect me,” she smiles softly, “Even if it isn’t necessary,” her smile gets wider, “Especially then actually. It’s cute.”
He grumbles, “How many times do I have to tell you I’m not cute?”
She smiles and rests her head against his shoulder, “Always at least one more time.”

i work in a bookstore so obviously we talk a lot about books.......so we've been discussing how many books we have and tbr piles and i have like. 500 books (and i got rid of hundreds when i moved out of my house) and the question i always get is do i read them all. and the answer is i have read some of every book i have with the exception of a few. and i have so many anthology type books i don't intend to read cover to cover (fairy tales, mythology, eap, lovecraft, etc etc) and then a ton of poetry books i don't feel are meant to be consumed like other books.
and i just think it's funny how so many people are very completionist. like i cannot do that with books. i think i learned in high school (and relearned in college) that i cannot finish books i actually despise (catcher in the rye & the road are the worst books i've ever been forced to read)

Self Care for Sleep
I started using the EAP my school has and the counsellor is helping me take care of myself first since I have some caretaking to do for a family member. The first thing we are focusing on is sleep. I have a lot of trouble getting to sleep some nights.
She suggested 3 things:
🧘♀️ Within the hour before I go to bed, do the Legs Up the Wall yoga pose. We discussed using Yoga with Adriene's Foundation video to show me proper form because we bonded over our love of her. 5 minutes is enough to activate the parasympathetic nervous system or "Rest & Digest" mode. * 🥱
🚿 I take showers in the night so she recommended this tip. At the end of a night time shower switch the water to cool - not cold, this will wake you up - or lukewarm depending on your tolerance. This also activates "Rest & Digest" mode. 😴
📘 Either journal or discuss with a close one three things that went well today. If discussing with someone else each person should have time to tell the other three things they liked about their day. This is a great way to bond! My counsellor said she does this ritually every night at 9 p.m. with her best friend via text. 🫂
*
* This is Legs Up the Wall pose.*

Destigmatizing Mental Health: The Urgent Need for Government and Corporate Action
Mental health is an essential aspect of an individual's overall well-being, affecting their thoughts, emotions, and behavior [10]. Despite its importance, mental health remains stigmatized in many societies, causing individuals with mental health issues to face discrimination and isolation. This article will discuss the critical need to destigmatize mental health, emphasize the importance of government and corporate support, and propose 10 programs to address the mental health crisis in the United States.
The Importance of Destigmatizing Mental Health:
Destigmatizing mental health is crucial for creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable discussing their mental health concerns and seeking support [1]. Dr. Dennis from Landmark Health emphasizes that while stigma still exists, awareness and understanding are increasing due to collaborative efforts by healthcare providers and specialists [1]. By destigmatizing mental health, we can improve access to care and create a more inclusive and empathetic society.
The Role of the Government and Corporations in Addressing Mental Health:
The United States is experiencing a mental health crisis, with a majority of people believing that the country needs to take action [15]. The government and corporations have a shared responsibility to create and support programs that address the mental health needs of their citizens and employees. Almost 60% of employers are starting to have conversations about mental health and proactively addressing burnout, fatigue, and workplace stress [12]. However, more needs to be done to fully integrate mental health support into the fabric of society.
10 Ideas for Programs to Assist with Mental Health:
Mental Health First Aid: Train employees in mental health first aid to recognize the signs of mental health issues and provide initial support to colleagues [6].
Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs): Offer free and confidential counseling services for employees and their family members, covering a wide range of mental health concerns.
Mental Health Days: Encourage employees to take mental health days to rest, recharge, and prioritize their well-being [11].
On-site Mental Health Services: Provide on-site mental health services such as therapy or support groups to make it more convenient for employees to access care.
Mental Health Education: Incorporate mental health education and awareness programs into employee training to foster understanding and empathy.
Flexible Work Schedules: Allow employees to have flexible work schedules to better balance work and personal life, reducing stress and burnout.
Peer Support Networks: Establish peer support networks where employees can connect, share experiences, and offer support to one another.
Stigma Reduction Campaigns: Implement campaigns to raise awareness about mental health and reduce stigma in the workplace.
Wellness Programs: Develop comprehensive wellness programs that include physical exercise, mindfulness, and stress reduction techniques to promote overall well-being.
Employee Feedback: Involve employees in workplace decisions related to mental health policies and practices, as this can reduce stress and increase job satisfaction [21].
Destigmatizing mental health and providing adequate support for individuals experiencing mental health issues is a pressing concern for both the government and corporations. By implementing programs that promote mental health awareness, provide support, and address the unique needs of employees, we can create a more compassionate and inclusive society. Removing the negative stigma around mental health is essential to ensure that those struggling with mental illness are not treated differently and can access the care they need.

Just out of curiosity, do you have the patreon for tcf or do you read the raws? Because from some posts I see you’re quite far into the novel
To answer your question, no, I don't have a patreon. I know there are some raws available out there, but I haven't seen them. I buy the novel in Korean on Munpia, although I don't understand Korean, to support the official release. There is a way to translate the new chapters through MTL, but honestly, those translations are really bad and hard to understand, so I keep up with EAP discord where people discuss spoilers for each new chapter as it comes out. Aside from what, I have to wait for EAP to translate TCF into English like the rest of us sad, poor mortals ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How Behavioral Health Services in Provo Contribute to Improved Workplace Mental Health
Workplace mental health is a critical yet often overlooked aspect of overall well-being. As the modern workplace becomes more demanding, with high expectations, long hours, and constant connectivity, the mental health of employees is more important than ever. A mentally healthy workforce is more productive, engaged, and motivated, which translates to better outcomes for both employees and organizations.
In Provo, behavioral health services play a crucial role in improving workplace mental health. Through individualized therapy, stress management programs, and corporate wellness initiatives, Brookside Counseling and other providers in the area are helping employees manage mental health challenges and thrive in their careers. This article explores how behavioral health services in Provo can support mental wellness in the workplace, offering both employees and employers the tools they need to create a healthier, more productive environment.
1. Understanding the Importance of Workplace Mental Health
Mental health issues in the workplace can take many forms, from stress and burnout to anxiety and depression. These conditions can lead to a range of negative outcomes, including absenteeism, reduced productivity, and strained relationships between colleagues. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, one in five adults in the U.S. experiences mental illness each year, and workplace stress is a key contributor to this.
Provo, with its growing economy and diverse workforce, has recognized the importance of integrating behavioral health services into the workplace. As organizations strive to support employees’ overall well-being, offering mental health resources is becoming a critical component of their strategies.
2. The Role of Behavioral Health Services in the Workplace
Behavioral health services provide employees with tools and resources to manage their mental and emotional health. These Behavioral Health Services Provo can be delivered in several ways, from individual therapy sessions to workplace-wide initiatives aimed at reducing stress and promoting mental well-being.
Here are some ways that behavioral health services in Provo contribute to improved workplace mental health:
1. Individual Therapy for Employees
One of the most direct ways that behavioral health services improve workplace mental health is through individual therapy. Employees struggling with anxiety, depression, or work-related stress can benefit from therapy sessions that help them identify the root causes of their issues and develop strategies for coping with daily challenges.
Therapists at Brookside Counseling offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and stress management techniques that can help individuals regain control over their mental health. Employees can learn how to manage negative thought patterns, build resilience, and improve their emotional regulation, all of which are essential for performing well at work.
Therapy also offers a confidential space for employees to discuss personal struggles that may impact their work life. The process can help employees address unresolved issues, leading to improved focus, motivation, and overall performance.
2. Workplace Stress Management Programs
Work-related stress is one of the leading contributors to poor mental health. High demands, tight deadlines, long hours, and a lack of work-life balance can lead to burnout, anxiety, and depression. Behavioral health services in Provo offer stress management programs that teach employees practical techniques for reducing stress and improving resilience.
Programs can include workshops on mindfulness, relaxation techniques, and time management. These skills help employees manage the pressures of their jobs without compromising their mental health. Additionally, Brookside Counseling offers employee assistance programs (EAPs) that provide on-site or virtual counseling for staff, enabling employees to access support when they need it most.
3. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
Many businesses in Provo are recognizing the value of offering Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) to their employees. EAPs are confidential services that provide counseling, resources, and referrals for employees facing personal or work-related issues that impact their mental well-being. These programs often include short-term counseling sessions, where employees can discuss their concerns in a safe and supportive environment.
EAPs also provide employees with access to 24/7 support, making it easier for them to get help when they need it most. Whether an employee is dealing with personal problems, family issues, or stress at work, an EAP can provide valuable resources to help them cope and find solutions. By supporting employees through these programs, businesses can reduce absenteeism, lower turnover rates, and increase employee satisfaction.
4. Creating a Supportive Workplace Culture
Behavioral health services also contribute to mental wellness by helping organizations create a supportive workplace culture. Encouraging open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma, and normalizing the need for mental health care are crucial steps in fostering a work environment where employees feel safe seeking help.
Therapists and counselors can offer guidance to employers and leadership teams on how to create a culture that values mental health. This can include training for managers on how to recognize signs of mental distress in employees and how to offer support. By fostering a culture of understanding and openness, companies in Provo can create environments where employees are more likely to prioritize their mental health, seek help when needed, and perform at their best.
5. Group Therapy and Support for Team Building
Sometimes, employees face stress as a result of interpersonal challenges or team dynamics. Group therapy and support sessions are an excellent way to address these issues while also promoting mental well-being across the team. Through group therapy, employees can develop better communication skills, learn how to manage conflicts, and improve teamwork.
In a workplace setting, therapists can conduct workshops or group counseling sessions that focus on team building, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution. These sessions promote a more positive work environment, reduce tension, and help employees build healthier relationships with colleagues. As a result, employees feel more supported and empowered to collaborate, leading to a more productive and harmonious workplace.
3. The Benefits of Behavioral Health Services for Employers
While the direct impact of behavioral health services on employees is significant, the benefits also extend to employers and the organizations they manage. Investing in mental health services for employees leads to a healthier, happier, and more productive workforce, which ultimately improves the bottom line.
Here are some of the key benefits of behavioral health services for employers:
1. Reduced Absenteeism and Presenteeism
Employees who experience mental health challenges are more likely to miss work or be less productive when present. Absenteeism (missing work) and presenteeism (being present but not fully engaged) can both negatively affect a company’s productivity and morale. Offering behavioral health services helps reduce these issues by addressing mental health problems early and providing employees with the tools they need to manage stress and emotional well-being.
When employees feel supported and have access to counseling and therapy, they are less likely to need time off for mental health reasons. As a result, organizations experience improved attendance rates and better overall productivity.
2. Lower Turnover Rates
Mental health support is a key factor in employee retention. Employees who feel that their mental health and well-being are valued are more likely to stay with their employer for the long term. Behavioral Health Services Provo, including counseling and EAPs, signal to employees that their mental health is a priority, which helps build loyalty and job satisfaction.
By offering these services, companies reduce the likelihood of burnout and job dissatisfaction, which can lead to higher turnover rates. The result is a more stable, experienced workforce that contributes to the success of the organization.
3. Enhanced Employee Engagement
Employees who feel mentally and emotionally supported are more engaged in their work. Engagement is linked to job satisfaction, motivation, and overall productivity. When organizations prioritize behavioral health, employees are more likely to feel valued, leading to higher levels of engagement and motivation.
Engaged employees are more committed to their roles and are more likely to go above and beyond to contribute to the success of the organization. This benefits not only the employee but also the employer, creating a mutually beneficial relationship.
4. Promoting a Holistic Approach to Employee Well-Being
Behavioral health services contribute to a holistic approach to employee well-being. Mental health is just one aspect of a person’s overall health, and when companies provide resources to support mental wellness, they demonstrate a commitment to the total well-being of their employees. This holistic approach improves job satisfaction, reduces stress, and enhances productivity across all areas of the business.
Conclusion
Behavioral health services in Provo play a pivotal role in supporting workplace mental health. By offering individual therapy, stress management programs, employee assistance programs, and a culture of support, these services contribute to improved mental well-being for employees and greater success for employers.
For organizations looking to improve employee productivity, reduce absenteeism, and foster a positive work environment, investing in behavioral health services is a crucial step. At Brookside Counseling, we offer a range of services designed to support both employees and employers in creating healthier, more productive workplaces. By prioritizing mental health, companies can cultivate a workforce that is engaged, resilient, and ready to face the challenges of today’s dynamic work environment.
