royal au hsr inspired by lord of heroes. monarch!gn!reader.

i blame @baeshijima for getting me back into loh, albeit briefty… i stopped playing again due to starting summer session soon ughhh. but i did have fun tho which inspired me to make this au for hsr.

similar to my royal au with genshin inspired by fe3h, it’ll be formatted as hcs split into multiple installments. reader’s a monarch of a small nation, whose their goal is forming an alliance with other nations to stop dark forces — in this case the stellaron — from overtaking the world.

the astral express = avillon knights

herta space station = friendly stage/already allies

jarilo-vi + xianzhou (luofu) = occupy stages

the stellaron hunters = gallus empire (east)

judging from kafka’s splash art, it seems like there are 8 stellaron hunters aside from silver wolf and blade. and guess what, there are also 8 of the fangs of the empire. so it’s perfect with elio as the emperor who has the ability to see the future.

the trailblazers, caelus and stelle, are like mu and lamba who allow reader to access the archives (dan heng who), a database that contains info about the hsr universe and the people they met. tbs can also help them travel between timelines to prevent the stellaron from destroying the world each time.

#twewy #neo twewy #the world ends with you #neo the world ends with you #fret twewy #fret furesawa #my art #i really like fret! i think his struggles with his identity (regarding how he tends to act upbeat) are pretty interesting #especially with how they relate to his psyche #honestly as much as i find remind interesting narratively/thematically i did not enjoy it as part of the gameplay #there was this one remind section i was stuck on for twenty minutes?#i got better as i progressed but man. it was definitely the hardest to use #i've been thinking a lot about fret lately in relation to sora since i've been playing through kh #they both act cheerful and heroic to befriend/reassure people and consequently lose sight of who they are #it's actually so important to me that they meet and speak to each other at some point...#i struggled quite a bit with coming up with concepts for this drawing (similar to shoka)#when i have difficulty coming up with ideas for these drawings #i can overthink and start going down rabbit holes trying to find some semblance of an idea #that happened a little bit with this one haha #at one point i tried to think simpler. about how fret is fun-loving #then i remembered those target happy birthday glasses #and things started to come together!#you can't see it because it's so small but each candle is detailed to look like someone close to fret #rindo. kanon. shoka. nagi. beat. neku. from left to right (albeit beat and neku are covered by his hand)#drawing the glasses was a lot of fun! i think he looks good with them

#their acting—as in all good romcoms—really fills in the spaces #I am also so struck and moved by the way their scenes walk such a fine line of restraint #and commitment only to the present moment of making it romantic #while somehow not making their situations/difficulties feel out of mind for the two leads #they feel genuinely weighed down/troubled/hurt by their situation #but also there’s a lightness that keeps them in the present with each other #I am really struck by it and I really love it #and also this is why I am obsessing over the ending because I need to see if they can find a way to make this all ring true #in its final beat. October 11th, 2024 - Friday

In a half-moved state of being lol half my belongings are in one place and the other half in another place. I’m trying to live a new life while also trying to continue my old life at full force. It’s exhausting yet exciting, foreign yet familiar, terrifying yet comforting. I am a living juxtaposition. All I can do is spread my old comforter onto a new bed and make new plans in an old planner (and read sometimes to escape 📚 )
