Aaaand I’m finally in Act 3 (fucking finally) with my Oathbreaker Paladin Durge run. I can only wish I’m talented enough of a writer to write a fic for these two I swear-

I truly HC Shadowheart smiles a lot in Act 3

No one else gets to to talk shit about Shadowheart’s Sharran worship aside from him though

"I despise you," she whispered faintly against his lips, her words like a fragile echo. The sharp hiss of the wound on her hand rang through his ears.

It was another one her lies, he thought with a heavy heart.

And he knew that as she soon departs through that door to receive Shar's embrace, he will lose her. He felt the impending loss like a dagger to his soul.

She would slip away from him, and he will lose her to a Goddess.

Since awakening from the nautiloid, his memories remained fragmented, but certain truths lingered. He carried the weight of knowing that one day, his sins would catch up with him, his betrayal of his Oath and his past stained with blood shall all be met with Tyr’s justice.

When she whispered his name as he pulled her closer to him, deepening their kiss, it was then he felt it in the depths of his soul—an immutable truth.

She is his punishment.

For context, this is set in Act 2, Balehrys pulled Shadowheart aside, struggling with his inner conflict of allowing her to go through with the trials, and his want to let her follow her own desires to be a Dark Justiciar.

So I made this comic in an art workshop we had this morning, I had no idea what to draw so I just pulled this out of some of my attempts of writing.
