We saw Wicked last night. It was actually good, which is SO exciting and definitely was not a given, so i'm definitely excited for act 2 next year. Defying Gravity was actually my least favorite part, but for some reason is the first thing I was itching to draw. Feeling the urge to do the Galinda/Elphaba dance from DTL though so maybe that'll happen tomorrow :)

A friend may think they know you, brushed your hair softer than your own mother ever cared to, told you their dirtiest secrets and desires behind bar bathroom doors while club music thumped in the backdrop, danced naked under the moon in the loneliness of a summers night; making everything shine with a fake goodness you came to believe with your whole bloody torn up skin and shaky hands.

They think that their pandering is akin to true kindness and adoration, but true love cares, true love sits with you, without poison waiting in the back of their mouths, waiting to be spit out the moment you’re not there to hear it. Not there to defend anything you’ve ever done. After thinking long and hard I don’t think this person has ever truly loved anyone real, they date a character in their head to cope with the fact that they are incapable of making real human connection, i pity them but i will not swallow their knife. I can’t name one person that they haven’t talked ill of.

Real love does not include pulling the carpet out from under someone when they are already laying in the gutter. I know they believe in their blackened rotted guts, reeking of sewage and bile, that their good and kind, and I blame myself, I wanted love so bad I let this person get away with treating people in such heinous ways, the shame shall last forever. I still find myself wishing the best for those who have treated me as nothing more than scuffs on their shoes, dirt trapped under their finger nails.

I have a hard sureness that they can love, but it’s not a love I’ll ever receive, and not a love I’d ever want. A love that belongs to someone out their who is good at being a doormat, a good girl, someone who’s not sick the way I am, someone who doesn’t mind being belittled until there’s nothing of themselves but crumbs.

I set nothing ablaze, i just spoke the truth, and to many people this is a burden too big to carry so they turn it into something they can stomach and make it into bullshit poetry, just chomping at the bit to make their ugly hearts seem pretty to strangers on the internet.

I took off the dumb heart shaped glasses and saw that there was nothing but an emptiness so big and cavernous that there is no possible way our hearts every really touched, we never shared blood and spit, we shared lies and stage plays, and in the right light, well, that looks like love too.

I drive home in the dark, and I know it’s over before the sun rises, before the first text is sent, I take betrayal like a knife in the belly and I’m no good at hiding my pain. My pain knows nothing but rage. I drive away for the last time wondering if anything is real at all and then a song comes on that I haven’t heard before and I get three messages asking me if I’m okay, and I know, I believe that there is good in this cruel world.

oh this is interesting interesting hmmm…

i think that ty would be very bold with his actions, like he would be super upfront about exactly what he wants to do, how he wants to touch kit and be touched by kit and our boy kit-io would be an absolute. blushing. mess. like beet-root red. but ty would only enjoy teasing him more to see him blush. like i think ty is a hidden freak (i just know he’s at the scholomance fantasising about kit every night).

but i also think that kit, bc he’s so comfortable with ty and because he’s one loud-mouthed mf, he would make it known that he’s thought about ty in that way, that he wants to go further, he wants ty to know that he wants to go further and his priority is keeping ty safe and comfortable but ultimately, he would just be stuttering and in his head like what the fuck what the hell ty wants to touch me what the fuck is happening i- i- what the helllll unrelated but i also think kit has a praise kink… no one asked but just pointing it out bc c’mon… am i right or am i right?

basically, this is hard (and kitty will also be). but i’m leaning more towards ty being freakier just bc it’s always the ones you don’t expect… if u catch my drift
