To celebrate my 25,000-Hit milestone, I chose to use a request I received from a Facebook friend, who wanted to see me do a mash-up pic, involving all of Butch Hartman's cartoons - Fairly Odd Parents, Danny Phantom and T.U.F.F. Puppy.  And this was the theme I chose to go with. Hopefully, this pic will be a nice trip down memory lane for everyone who's seen these specific looks on these characters (and perhaps a bit of trivia for those that haven't).^_^ Needless to say, this pic represented a number of firsts for me.  Not only was it my first time drawing Danielle in her ghost form, but this was also the first time I've drawn anyone from the FOP or T.U.F.F. Puppy shows.  Still, I think they all turned out fabulously and I hope you all feel the same way.  In retrospect, I suppose I could have added a couple more characters, but this undertaking was massive enough without trying to add to it.

Galladrabbles: Know This Guy? Take 2
Another @galladrabbles for @sam-loves-seb 's prompt!
-----
"You know this guy?" Ian asked the ball of gray fur in his arms. She kept squirming and reaching towards Mickey.
"Of course! She loved Mickey when we visited the prison," the attendant said.
Ian turned a quizzical eye to Mickey as he connected dots he'd long since forgotten. "Wait. Is this Sam? All this time I thought you were meeting up with a friend-"
"Shut up, Firecrotch." Mickey took the cat from Ian. She immediately settled in his arms, purring and bonking her head into his jaw.
"You know, she's up for adoption," the attendant said with a smile.

Hi! 😊
How about 7, 14, 28, 37, and 46?
Hi Dyno!!!
7. What advice would I give my childhood self?
Don't believe all the shit talking your mom does about your dad, she's just salty she wasted almost 20 years with him and doesn't know how to process it except by being petty.
Be yourself, as cliche and stupid as it is, you're just going to be the same you in your thirties as you are in your teens except instead of writing cringy vampire and werewolf stories you're writing less cringy fanfiction for ships you adore.
It gets fucking better.
14. Favorite warm beverage? Hot chocolate!
28. If you could domesticate any animal what would you choose? A BEAR I LOVE BEARS.
37. Do you have any strange habits? I'm sure I do, of course I can't think of them right now.
46. Relate yourself to one movie character.
Hell I don't know, Mia Thermopolis from The Princess Diaries.

That's how I was raised, and it's not exactly surprising to me how common CSA was in my church. You can't say no. Authority is authority. Grown-ups are in charge.
I remember my parents getting the Yello Dyno videos to train my little sibling and I about stranger danger, and I couldn't reconcile any of it with the overwhelming tide of how our community was raising us, so I just thought to myself "well that's not realistic or actionable" and tuned it all out. I can't think about that as an adult now without my stomach sinking. And I was never sexually abused, but I know people who were. I almost walked off with a stranger I met at a park bathroom once! WE WERE ALL IN FUCKING DANGER, ALL THE TIME!
I don't think I've ever really forgiven my family for that, or plan to. It's more that my relationships with family members are immense mixed bags of good and bad, where I have - in my own personal circumstances - found the sweet spot to be focusing on the good without denying the bad. I'll never entirely understand the thought process of my parents, though - going back to the church for our sakes, back into the lion's den. I'll always wonder. Mom, Dad, how could you not know?
there was backlash from homeschooling "parents rights" advocates in my area before because of a daycare teaching kids about consent...all they learned is that you don't have to accept unwanted physical intimacy. one scenario that happened is a parent told her toddler boy to kiss a toddler girl in class. toddler boy comes back and says that toddler girl didn't want a kiss. it turns out the kids were taught that you don't touch someone if they say "no". parents thought this was ridiculous. I felt crazy hearing them talk about it, why in the world would you be upset by kids respecting each others boundaries, and why are you asking your toddlers to kiss each other in the first place as if they're toys and not human beings?

ACTIVITY – 23/10-5/11/23 – CLIMBING & TENNIS
So, during these two weeks activity had to be limited as I unfortunately injured myself. I had problem to move my head and even to sit for longer periods of time.
For the first week I had just one climbing session as I could do it with a rope meaning that whenever I would need a break or acknowledged that something hurts I could just slowly let go of the wall and there wouldn’t be any impact. For that session I prepared well, I made sure to have painkillers with me and cream. I warmed-up delicately and having in mind what I shouldn’t do. I researched routs that would be suitable knowing that I am not allowed to do any dyno moves. During the training session I was able to complete few routs and even did some one hand climbing which I consider a success. It was a great lesson about listening to my body.
For the second week at first I couldn’t train but when I got better due to lack of trainings with coaches (national holiday) as a family we decided to get some playing together. I had to warm up properly and made sure to have tape with me so I could actually play according to my abilities. Unfortunately, during our Wednesday session (we played 2-hour sessions) my dad twisted his ankle. This made me feel uncertain as usually I am the one who has such problems. On Friday, we had to play without my dad. I definitely could see improvements since our last game together. I also had one climbing session on Thursday.

I don’t know why my mind is backtracking so much. I started thinking of a backpacking trip I took with my cousin, his GF (now wife) and Dyno. I remember it rained on us almost the whole trip and how refreshing it felt to lay in the tent, cuddling up to a good dog and listen to the rain on the tent. I miss that dog. He was my first adventure dog, and was my crossover dog. He would be close to 12-13 now. I often wonder if he is still around and if he is doing well.

Legitimate drag racing hasn’t been a thing here for a couple of decades now. City shut down the track, and as expected, some of it moved to the streets. Lacking a replacement venue, I got to thinking about how to build a smaller version of the drag-racing experience that could still hold the appeal of the original for all involved.
Remote-controlled cars are an obvious choice. They’re cars, after all, and you can put them in a straight line. Yet there is no real thrill in using them for drag racing: without the visceral thrill of being inside, you might as well just be dynoing them. We moved on to pinewood derby racing after that, but then a bunch of the racers caught the woodworking bug. Our local area also lacks addictions and mental health counselling, so their problem spiralled until we lost them entirely to boat-building. Valve cover racing? It went for a little while, but even the hardest-core had to admit we looked kinda stupid meeting at the junkyard to see who could get the heaviest CA18DE cover, the one with the most studs.
I was doing street drags out behind the old Kurt Cobain’s Waffle Palace® when it hit me. What people loved about real drag racing was the brands. They wanted to see a rotten Cavalier roll up to the Christmas tree, laugh at it, and then watch in giggling horror as this underdog piece of shit laid waste to everything in sight for an entire evening. Without the reference programmed into our brains by branding and marketing for what to expect, it was difficult to upset those expectations. There was a place where brands combined with the need to destroy all comers: power tool racing.
This sport, previously popular only on construction sites, is now becoming more common across North America. You’ve heard a million suburban dads talk shit about DeWalts or Milwaukees, but now you can get to see them put their money (and pinks) where their mouth is. Only to get demolished by a Princess Auto PowerFist-brand angle grinder with motor wiring so thin it has to be a custom-built cheater, coughing purple smoke as it rips its way down the sidewalk. Will it run out of extension cord before it hits someone in the Tim Hortons parking lot? Just part of the fun, and those pigs surely haven’t written laws against it yet.

Female Muscle in Cartoons : Mighty Mom - Fairly Oddparents (2001- 2017)
Fairly Oddparents was one of Nickelodeon's longest running cartoon series. It featured the adventures of Timmy Turner and his fairy god parents who would grant his every wish. Occasionally, it would feature his parents. Mighty Mom was Timmy’s mother with superpowers. Apparently the magic of Cosmo and Wanda was so powerful that it could make her super strong.  “Mighty Mom and Dyno Dad” was the first episode of her appearance. The second was “Mighty Mom and Dyno Dad Meet The Chrimson Chin.” These were fun episodes with good jokes and lampoons of comics. The series was known for its bizarre adventures, fast paced jokes, and imaginative stoylines. Mighty Mom is not only strong she is drawn that way.  There are a few fmg scenes and at one point shows her bending a steel bar.
