Flag for those with Iota as their secondary gender / dynamic!

"Iota" biologically within its universe refers to those with a variant hormone and pheromone profile, especially in comparison to their genitalia. It is the intersex of dynamics, and can exist in tandem or separately from intersex.

As iota exists as a label mostly describing biological aspects, it doesn't have associated gender stereotypes. Instead, they are often treated as if they are a different dynamic.

Pheromone Non-Conforming

A term for an individual who is not conformant to the pheromones associated with their secondary gender (dynamic). A term popularized by the use of pheromone blockers and replacers in its universe, but may also apply to transdynamic individuals who choose not to alter their pheromones.

It is a sublabel under dynamic non-conforming.

Rho Flag

Flag for those with Rho as their secondary gender / dynamic!

"Rho" biologically does not have any representation within its universe, being fully tied to identity.

As a gender, Rhos are extremely varied, as it's an umbrella term for any non-trinary identity. Rhos may manifest with combined gender traits, such as being both alpha and omega traited, neutrally traited, entirely new ones, as if they have no dynamic at all, and more.

Dynamic Non-Conforming

A term for an individual who is not conformant to the expectations of their secondary gender (dynamic). This may be social non-conformity, identity non-conformity, relationship non-conformity, body non-conformity, and more.

Those who are dynamic non-conformant in relation to pheromones may be considered pheromone non-conformant, a term with its own expanse due to the commonality of pheromone blockers and replacers.

Transdynamic

Transdynamic is the term for those who are biologically one dynamic (secondary gender) but identify with and wish to be seen as a different dynamic. Those who are transdynamic may identify as dynaqueer, but do not have to.

The trinary biological dynamics are alpha, beta, and omega. Iota is also a biological dynamic, but can only be transitioned out of, not into, due to being the dynamic equivalent to intersex.

Someone who transitions into a non-trinary dynamic would fall under the umbrella term of rho.

Transrho

Transrho is the term for a transdynamic individual who identifies as a rho, or as rho-spec.

Dynaqueer Flag

Dynaqueer is an umbrella term for those who are genderqueer in their secondary gender (dynamic). It is a much more expansive term than transdynamic or rho, as it includes both, but also those who are dynamic non-conforming, iotas, performers, cuspers, and more.

Is there a term for being Iota and/plus Beta? Not in a Transdynamic ItB way, but in a “I’m proudly Intersex/Iota, but I’m also a Legally-Assigned Beta (due to being Iota the way I am) and I’m proud of being a Beta too”.

I’ve just been using Rho so far b/c it feels sort of like being secondary-gender Bigender to me but I’m not sure if I’m just misreading what being Rho/Transrho covers?

Is there also a combined term for total non-conformance across the board re: dynamic/pheromones/etc.? I know Dynaqueer was coined and I love it, but I was just wondering if there was anything more specific! Tysm for your time and for making all of these great flags/terms!

I could coin something, though it would probably be off the letters for now. Beota maybe? Of course you can also just just both Beta and Iota ^^

Rho is the umbrella term for any non-trinary identity, so using it depends on if you see your dynamic as non-trinary or not. Much like real-world intersex, iota is not inherently non-trinary, and someone who is bidynamic isn't necessarily non-trinary either (rather, they may see themselves as multitrinary).

Total non-conformance within dynamics would just be Dynamic Non-Conforming, Pheromone Non-Conforming is a sublabel under it due to the prevalence of pheromone blockers and enhancers.
