Love to be a writer who has dyslexia, dygraphia, dyscalclia, annd issues focusing paired with memory problems mostly short term. so I end up hating the entire process as it's a frustrating chaotic tedious slog if i choose to do any more than just spit something out and never look at it again hoping the words are as good to read as they sound in my head
At least with visual mediums I can see what the hell I'm actually doing. I can see the lines and how it's coming together without constantly losing where I am what I was gonna do.whether when writing or editing reading words is just awfullll it makes me so mad cause I wish I enjoyed reading and writing more

Even tho I have a lot of apprehension to AI, here is how I use it:
It doesnt get mad at me for asking 1000 question on a simple r script .
It helps with my dygraphia when I have to read a lot of science articles and a short bullet point summery in my bibliography software.
It can make a bullet point summary of an 3 hours conference transcript.
It can help answer precise questions that google cannot , like "explain X concepts like I am 5"(used it alot for my genetics class) or " example of destination for a family trip within X day, Y budgets, for Z persons, and why?"
So yeah, I'm mostly using it as a tool to counter the limitation given by my adhd and dysgraphia and allow me to have a better efficiency in my school work. Sometimes, I stare at the screen because I know what I want to write, but my brain doesn't want to translate the abstract concepts in my brain into a sentence. But having already something written, even if it’s wrong and being able to not start but continue kinda bypasses the block. IDK WHY?
im a proud "ive never used chat gpt" user btw

Whether typing on a keyboard, or writing on paper I have to concentrate so hard just to actually type all the letters in order! I know how to spell the words correctly, but for some reason my brain just doesn't want to! Stupid dysgraphia...

Quarantine Survey
tagged by @navajolovesdestiel, thanks dude! hope you’re well (:
Where are you isolated?
at my house living with my mom and sister.
What are you currently reading or watching?
i am a hardcore rewatcher i hate new things unless it is under specific circumstances.  right now i’m rewatching killing eve which is just as good as it was the first time i saw it and the office.  i’m also trying to reread the shack but i barely have any time because off all the work i’m swimming in.
If you can go outside, what do you like to do during this time?
i go outside and run/walk around the block when it’s nice out.  sometimes i like to just sit in my yard swing or lay in the grass too.
Any fascinating concepts you’re studying?
i’m currently working on my masters degree in special education and i’m doing a project on dygraphia which is a specific learning disability that effects the ability to write with ease.  it may effect handwriting, spacing, letter formation, etc.  i’m currently working on a writing lesson plan for a child with dysgraphia and explaining how it will help them stay on target for the curriculum.
What kind of acts of creativity/forms of art are you currently doing?
lol none to be honest.  i barely have enough time to be doing this lol.  i guess the closest thing would be singing while i do my work and sometimes posting my singing on here like an idiot lmao.
A song that resonates with your state of mind at the moment?
either acquainted with the night by blue rose code or the way i am by charlie puth
Favourite healthy/’good’ coping techniques?
hahaha who?  all joking aside i try and write down some facts about myself every once and a while when i feel my dissociation/who even am i moments start to flare up.  these tag games actually really help so i really appreciate when people tag me in them. also walking outside/being active for real.
Favourite impulsive/’bad’ coping techniques?
ignoring my extreme amounts of school work i have and just scrollin’ it up on here like i don’t have a care in the world.  also eating every single snack like object in my kitchen
i’ll go ahead and tag some new people so i can give my usuals a break from my face in their notes lmao
@paintdriesfaster @thewriterofawesomeness @veni-vidi-vici-96 @epple-benene @fanartaddict @that-northern-lad
also do this if you see it and you want to, who cares if i didn’t tag you dude.
also idk if this is weird but if you’re someone who wants to be tagged when i do these, please like message me and let me know and i will always tag you when i participate in them.
stay safe out there, and love you all <3

YES
You are first person I see to hc him to have awful fucking writing ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I hc him to have dygraphia (which “comes” with awful writing [at least for me])

Little sketches I think Spamton would have drawn… inspired by a post from @s1lly-gh02tz !

Rambling about this below
I don’t actually think he would draw himself too often! For a guy who acted super egotistical and proud he’s very insecure and awkward. Probably the only time he’d do it is with autographs or customer request. Or when designing ads, although that version of him is more a mascot. I also imagine his handwriting would be god awful, which is what I attempted to do, hah. I also had so much fun drawing in what I think could be his artstyle. Very heavy on guidelines, since he’s so used to drawing cars. I think he’s an artist <3

hi! I saw a comment you left on a post and I was just wondering what dysgraphia is?
Dysgraphia is a learning disability that effects your ability to handwrite things (and sometimes other delicate/fine motor skills)- There can be overlap with other disabilities (ADD and dyslexia are common)- but mainly it’s known as the whole ‘I can’t hand write well at all’ disability. So things could look sloppy and not well thought out- when really it’s just a huge struggle to write stuff legibly. I commented this after seeing Fred writing his name in that gif and it was atrocious handwriting. I think that Fred having dygraphia would make a lot of sense for his impatience for schoolwork, his inventing a wordchecking quill, him giving up on long handwritten things like OWLs where he’s not allowed an enchanted quill. I can see Fred falling through the cracks a bit on this, and it being written off (pardon the pun) as him being lazy- so he just goes along with it. We always see him being broad, more acerbically witty and outgoing of the twins while George is the one planning a bit more and writing more. I can see George covering for him at times, and Fred being clever enough to compensate for his disability without ever having received much help for it.

Sharpe, Christina. In the Wake: On Blackness and Being. Durham: Duke UP, 2016.
“The disaster is its imminence” (5).
“The disaster and the writing of disaster are never present, are always present” (5).
“I’ve been trying to articulate a method of encountering a past that is not past. A method along the lines of a sitting with, a gathering, and a tracking of phenomena that disproportionately and devastatingly affect Black peoples any and everywhere we are. I’ve been thinking of this gathering, this collecting and reading toward a new analytic, as the wake and wake work, and I am interested in plotting, mapping, and collecting the archives of everyday of Black immanent and imminent death...” (13).
“her [Brand’s] refusal to think return” (19).
“ongoingness of the condition of capture” (20).
“orthography of the wake,” “dysgraphia of disaster” (20-21).
“these disasters arrive by way of the rapid, deliberate, repetitive, and wide circulation on television and social media of Black social, material, and psychic death. This orthography makes domination in/visible and not/visceral” (21).
“representations of blackness become the symbol, par excellence, for the less-than-human being condemned to death” (21).
“appears only to be made to disappear” (27).
“The forgotten space is blackness, and as [Aereile] Jackson is conjured to fill it she appears as a specter. It is as if with her appearance capital is suddenly historicized in and through her body. She is opportune” (29).
“Euro-Western gender’s dismantling, its inability to hold in/on Black flesh” (30).
“dysgraphic positioning of Black people via abjection” (33).
“the ship is distinct from the slave” (37).
“The amount of time it takes for a substance to enter the ocean and then leave the ocean is called residence time” (41).
“...in and out of the United States this ethnographic gaze will put into practice across time and administrative process, and the injury will then be seen to slip from conditions of slavery, colonialism, segregation, lynching, touristic display, ethnographic display, incarceration, vigilantism, gentrification, “immigrant camps and detention centers,” and state murder, to social and other “scientific claims” about blackness, about being Black, itself” (44).
“...how visual and literary culture evoke and invoke the Middle Passage with such deliberate and reflexive dysgraphic unseeing...” (46)
“A meager story is not a failure” (51).
“...the archive, too, is invention” (51).
“anagrammatical blackness” (75).
“There is an extensive representational repertoire (photographic and discursive) of the conflation of blackness and death and multiple ‘commonsense’ representations of Black maternity--and therefore the impossibility of Black childhood--as condemning one to a life of violence” (79).
“any movements while Black may be interpreted as furtive” (86).
“dygraphia: the inability of language to cohere around the bodies and the suffering of those who Black people who live and die in the wake and whose everyday acts insist Black life into the wake” (96).
“In the wake, the river, the weather, and the drowning are death, disaster, and possibility” (105).
“I am imagining that the work of Black annotation and Black redaction is to enact the movement to that inevitable--a counter to abandonment, another effort to try to look, to try to really see” (117).
“an archive that turns Black bodies into fungible flesh and deposits them there, betrayed” (131).
