not even in a 'they're very similar' way. they just straight up got stuck in the same hell hole at the same time. They were very rarely trained/experimented on separately, but they don't remember each other at all.

Which is very unfortunate, but I guess it won't matter to them too much since they don't remember ever having a twin.

Gouge's given name was 'Carver'. Ink's was 'Aerosol'. but now they're Gouge and Ink. They couldn't remember their old names but they needed to be called something.

            Ah.  There  it  is.

            He  has  to  hand  it  to  the  Chancellor;  Ardyn  knows  how  to  make  waves.  The  lovely  Oracle's  dying  desperation  is  almost  enough  to  send  Konstantin  into  a  frenzy  of  hunger,  but  he  remains  composed.  He's  unnervingly  still,  hands  in  pockets,  as  the  city  devolves  into  chaos  and  destruction  around  him.  There's  still  time.  Lunafreya's  emotions  are  delectable,  and  maybe  if  he  were  closer  he'd  have  a  little  sample  —  an  appetiser  before  the  grand  feast;  but  it's  not  the  prize  he's  after.  He  has  bigger  fish  in  mind.

            As  he  backs  away  from  the  scene,  the  unconscious  prince  keeps  the  entirety  of  Konstantin's  focus.

            He  has  to  wake  from  the  sweet  dream,  eventually.

At the end of the game, Ruyi gives Yi a backup of his settings “should he ever want to make a new ai assistant.” The Ruyi for the AU wouldn’t have any of the memories or nearly as many of the functions the OG Ruyi had, as they’d basically be Jerry-rigging the ship they came down to act as a much less advanced version of the hardware for the Abacus.

Mayyyyybe I’ll write something out for it? Usually I just draw and yap about it but I do intend on making. Like. An actual doc to keep track of things.
