WWDITS INSP Set & Lot
Tumblr media
This upload is inspired by one of my favorite vampire tv shows, What We Do in the Shadows. (It was supposed to be my Simblreen gift this year, but I'm hella late cuz IRL suuuuuucks...blood. 😅)
The DL folder includes 4 zip files:
My WWDITS INSP CC Set, including 37 wives items.
The WWDITS INSP Vampire Residence Lot to go in your Sims 3 > Library folder (in-game it'll be in the empty lots bin in Edit Mode)
A MERGED CC file of allllll the other CC I used on the lot (brace yourselves 💀) to go in your Sims 3 > Mods > Packages folder
Granthe's OMSP from MTS, cuz I wasn't sure if I could merge it or not and decided to play it safe.
WARNING: The lot uses a ton of CC. I have all of the EPs, and a lot of the Store CC too, so if you don't have EA's crap & items are missing, that might be why. But if you're not seeing any of the the 3rd party UGC, then I done goofed, sorry--it's been YEARS since I've shared my lots.
🦇 Enjoy! 🦇

hi! i really love blue moon falls, and it's been really helpful for me with getting a team together to take on stadium 1 and 2, as well as trying to complete everything i can in gen 2. i was curious if you had any advice for taking on all the cups in the stadium games? i have experience with vgc and i've been largely going based on smogon's guides for rby and gsc for team ideas, but actually preparing all the pokemon in game is daunting, to say the least, not to mention how many i need to raise and train due to the different cups level restrictions and whatnot. if nothing else, it's really nice seeing someone else as into gen 2 as i am who didn't grow up with it!
hey, i’m really glad BMF has been helpful for you! unfortunately it’s true that i haven’t gotten around to a lot of battle related articles (i want to in the future… i am working on an endless amount of projects all the time)
as for team ideas and building teams, i wouldn’t sweat it too-too much, especially for round 1, in which completing will give you a lot of hands-on experience to make team changes for the harder round 2 if you need. if you already have VGC experience and are navigating smogon, you definitely have enough background knowledge to build teams that are good enough to beat the stadium games. whatever ideas you have right now are probably already good enough, and it’s up to you how much you want to minmax those ideas/tilt the scales in your favor. if you don’t mind spoilers, it’s worth noting that stadium trainers aren’t random like the battle frontiers of gens 3/4 and teams are predetermined, so looking up some of the round 2 teams might also give you some ideas for your own teambuilding!
as for actually building those pokemon… yeah, it’s a lot! like anything johto, it’s good to take it at a bit of a slower pace, treat it like a bigger project that you can pick at over time instead of a rush to the finish, will make it more enjoyable.
for stat exp grinding, despite the E4 having bigger gains, i definitely personally prefer grinding on wilds which is why i made that stat exp tool (that i still need to update haha), it just feels faster even if it actually isn’t and it doubles as shiny hunting because of how many pokemon you see (it is also worth noting that in many cases you can get away without maxing stat exp!)
as for breeding, the easiest way to get started with that is spend an evening or two catching dittos in pokemon yellow if you have that game, in cerulean cave where they’re a high level and DVs are instantly recognizable. the chances of getting a ditto with a defense DV of 10 and a special DV of 7 or 15, which is the perfect breeding ditto for gen 2 standards, is a simple (1/16) * (1/8), or 1/128. not terrible, especially if you make party space to catch multiple at a time and clone glitch master balls or something. from there on out you can just pair that ditto with anything to start rolling for the best DVs possible, and you even get the boosted egg spawning odds from the different OT. you really don’t need all 15s across the board, just generally high is usually fine.
hopefully something in here was helpful and i hope you have fun! i feel like gen 2 enjoyers that weren’t there at the time are such a rare breed. nice to meet another!

Map Problems: Part 1
So, I was looking at the canon map that was released for some of our theories and just... Just no. It hurts me to even look at as it is widely inaccurate and outdated. Some places don’t even exist anymore or they haven’t even been added, so enjoy the rant I am about to go on.
Tumblr media
The problem with this map is, however, it makes no logical sense...
First of all; we are told in the game that Beast Yeast is North-East of Dragon’s Valley (DV), no biggie, right? Well, actually, it’s also supposed to be connected. It is NE of DV and resides in/near the Licorice Sea as stated in the game, however, here it is just floating away near Crispia and the Jellyfish Ocean. The Licorice Sea does not exist and therefore, it cannot be in the right position regardless.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A secondary problem that occurred was that the Giant Icing Ridge is too close to a tropical climate to be considered to be what it is, meaning that, while the Cacao Kingdom would be cold, it would not get to the temperatures to become an icy wasteland where cookies cannot reside without help. It would be a cooler climate, yes, but it wouldn’t be considered an artic or even all year round snowy place.
Realistically, the City of Wizards (CoW) is placed in a weird spot, it is coastal and by the sea, however, it would be much closer to Cacao’s Kingdom (CK) than Hollyberry’s (HBK) as it also holds the Tower of Frozen Waves, which shouldn’t exist anymore by the way. The CoW also has a much cooler climate compared to the tropical, Venice-like weather the HBK has. Not to mention, the CoW is told to be in the mountains, which is not here.
Tumblr media
Another possible problem is that the Vanilla Kingdom (VK), is that it is close to the Lake of Truth. Now, this wouldn’t be a problem, but unfortunately it is as the VK is a barren wasteland. After the attack there has been no vegetation growth, there are only dead trees and they are in a severe drought to the point only raisin birds and old raisin residents could survive, the rest of the Vanillians high-tailed it out of there. (Also has anyone even heard of the Blood Jam mountains...?) If they live close to a lake, sure it would take over a hundred years to rehydrate, there would be vegetation growth. However, later in the game, during the Council episodes, it’s shown that the plants have nearly grown back. But that is a problem for another time because I’m not going into the map of tree growth right now. (Picture is to show the drought.)
Tumblr media
Even the Sugar Free Road makes no sense as it is shown that Vanilla goes through multiple mountain ranges to reach what is basically “enlightenment”, however, the map never goes through mountains. It is shown they go around through valleys. So this man is either a liar or a fake (/j). It is a possibility but could be the Judgement Ravine, however, this is shown to be nowhere near the mountain ranges. If we wanted it to make more sense climate-wise and just in general, move it more towards the Secret Fig Forest, as well as the Dessert Paradise.
Tumblr media
While Golden Cheese hasn’t been released yet, the original positioning is not up to date and is a major issue with the map. We can assume Golden Cheese’s Kingdom is the one nestled between the Cream Cake Mountains, as originally her kingdom was to be in a Valley. Now that wouldn’t be a major issue because it’s in a valley, it is supposedly in a tropical climate, it’s sorted.
Well...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
IT’S IN A DESERT?!
WE DON’T HAVE ROOM ON THE MAP FOR A DESERT!
The map is too small to hold everything and if you want us to believe anything you say, there is either no desert or you’ve moved GC’s Kingdom into a place it cannot possibly be.
Deserts are formed in mountain ranges in which rain clouds cannot reach, however, this is the secondary problem, they have slapped it smack bang next to... You guessed it... THE OCEAN.
But anyway, this is going to have to wait for another day, Spiced is wanting to tell me about a lizard they found at the entrance.
Till we meet again, reader. - Maple Pecan Cookie

Every time I see you comment on a post it looks like you take a surface level understanding of something and just keep purposefully being unwilling to explore deeper because youve already assumed youre correct.
Centrist? More like contrarian when a centrist is actually in the room. You dont even know what you stand for
Firstly, it's difficult to make a nuanced and rounded answer in just 500 characters.
Secondly, there are many stages of knowing:
You didn't know you didn't know
you know you don't know
you know you know
you know you don't know some things about what you know
you are sure you know all you need to know
you realize you hardly know anything
I'm at no.6
There are subjects that I have learned about that are so nuanced that the more I study them, the less certain I become. Take domestic violence for example:
We start off not knowing it is a thing.
We then learn it is a thing
Then we learn it's a thing that women experience
We further learn that we aren't aware of just how far the rabbit hole goes
We know that women are affected badly and that's all that matters.
We find out that men experience domestic violence at higher rate than women, and 70% of all one-way violence is carried out by women towards men.
We learn that lesbian relationships have HIGHER rates of domestic violence than either hetero or gay.
We find out that DV never happens in a vacuum, and that it takes TWO partners to engage, so the victim is also the perpetrator.
It's not easy as you progress through the levels of learning. And it is VERY hard to put that all in a few 500 character comments.
Then you have to contend with other Tumblrites' inherent biases and levels of learning (they may be on stages 1-4 and not want to progress any further).
Then you have to run the gauntlet of being called a victim-blamer (because the victim is also the perpetrator, but NO ONE wants to admit that).
This goes for all sorts of subjects.
The further you get into them, the less sense they make. Welcome to thinking 101.

Project 28, Josiah! Who got ahead of Raz because I don't think I'll be making the rest of the DV crew in joining order.
While it's not visible in these photos, this is my first time sewing a functional button to one of these (it's under his cloak's front panel), as well as making a hat. Both this and his cloak are removable; Josiah had to be fully stuffed and assembled before they could be made.
(Note: for his head, I used the same anti-pilling yarn as I did with Johnnie, which seems to have a shorter gauge than most of my other yarn.)

What you find is that half of all reported domestic violence is bilateral. Matched for level of severity.
Half.
35% is female dominant, female more aggressive violence. The female used a more aggressive form of violence than the male did.
15% of all reported domestic violence is the male using the more severe form of domestic violence. That includes, however, 10%, two-thirds of the 15%. He pushed and shoved her and she didn't do anything. So, he used the more aggressive form, but it was still not a severe form of violence.
So that means only 5% of all reported domestic violence is the kind of stereotypical domestic violence where the woman might be injured by male actions.
5%.
Tumblr media
Whilst we may disagree on the details, we can all find common ground in the belief that all survivors of abuse deserve support, and all perpetrators need justice.
And that should include vulnerable men and boys.
It doesn’t matter if they make up 30% of survivors, 20%, or even 1%, they are entitled to help too, just like anyone else, and should not be left behind.
But the fact is male survivors of abuse are not a rounding error; they make up a signifiant portion of those abused, and they are never advocated for, or even protected.
They are left out in the cold, quite literally living in tents in friends gardens, or sleeping in their car, or on the streets.
They are a reflection of our failure, and of the betrayal of those obligated to support them.
Organisations duty-bound to help survivors, funded by tax payers, who have instead decided to forgo men in need, in order to prop up their own political agenda, and egos.
The concept of ‘gendered violence’ within DV is a not a calling card of progressivism, or compassion, it is a farce.
“The great lie”, says Erin Pizzey, founder of the world’s first abuse refuge for women.
“An ecological fallacy”, says Prof Don Dutton, one of the world’s greatest experts in DV.
“They’re fanatics”, describes the late Professor Murray Straus, the founding father of the field of Family Violence itself.
It needn’t matter.
No matter how many world leading experts speak out, no matter how many hundreds, or thousands of studies they hold up – the stark truths they present, are rejected as just too unpopular.
And so when it comes to domestic violence, we are looking at the problem through an ideological keyhole, unable and unwilling to open our minds to the full ugly truth – that women can do anything a man can, and that includes abuse.

Abstract
Objectives: We sought to examine the prevalence of reciprocal (i.e., perpetrated by both partners) and nonreciprocal intimate partner violence and to determine whether reciprocity is related to violence frequency and injury.
Methods: We analyzed data on young US adults aged 18 to 28 years from the 2001 National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent Health, which contained information about partner violence and injury reported by 11,370 respondents on 18761 heterosexual relationships.
Results: Almost 24% of all relationships had some violence, and half (49.7%) of those were reciprocally violent. In nonreciprocally violent relationships, women were the perpetrators in more than 70% of the cases. Reciprocity was associated with more frequent violence among women (adjusted odds ratio [AOR]=2.3; 95% confidence interval [CI]=1.9, 2.8), but not men (AOR=1.26; 95% CI=0.9, 1.7). Regarding injury, men were more likely to inflict injury than were women (AOR=1.3; 95% CI=1.1, 1.5), and reciprocal intimate partner violence was associated with greater injury than was nonreciprocal intimate partner violence regardless of the gender of the perpetrator (AOR=4.4; 95% CI=3.6, 5.5).
Also, here's 1700 more.

(pt1) This'll be unpopular, but book!Lestat (esp. in book 1) was no better than show!Lestat. They aren't carbon copies, and yes the DV was more brutal than anything he did to Louis in the book. But even post-IWTV, Lestat admits to blackout rages where he's capable of anything. His seeming lack of remorse felt like a bigger change to me - I do think book!Lestat would be truly sorry for harming Louis & would apologise more sincerely, but tbh even that opinion is informed more by the later books.
Tumblr media
I agree!
And I keep repeating that they are following the book very closely in theme, and narrative. And in book IWTV, especially the first half, Lestat was... the "villain". The one Claudia tries to kill. And she/they had her/their reasons for it.
As we are entering the second half of the book now this will likely change, as it did in the book (slowly).
A little note re the DV, because it's been going round my head:
The DV in episode 5 felt jarring, but they already set it up in episode 1. They did show Lestat's anger issues, plainly, and quite clearly, imho. For me it was clear that they would go there. And that it would be painful.
This said - I think there are always the grand storyline of the show to consider as well. AND the changes they made to it.
The "fight" in episode 5 is roughly split into three parts for me. (I've discussed the implications of why and impact and used imagery elsewhere, this is just in regards to the split of it, and imho, obviously)
The parlor fight. A heightened version of the quote I shared in the other ask yesterday, adapted to the sheer fact that Lestat is so much older here. I see that part up until Claudia hears Louis telling her they're "done". Rather straight book adaption, imho.
Then there's the first half of the second part, the... dragging. Lestat is weird here. I think a lot of people saw that as OOC because... it kinda is. Not just the action itself, but his words, too. Even while writing the fic „Love the…“ though I was thinking about the Dubai storyline, and the adaptions to the overall theme - we are on a much, much more condensed timeline. We know that "you know what and who" can influence vampires, and thrives on blood and violence... and that the process of becoming aware... was a difficult one. Since Lestat has been by Those Who Must Be Kept and Rolin has already referred to Prince Lestat... EDIT: @lestatthelittlelion reminded me that Lestat drags Armand and then holds him by the neck in TVL, which again is not exactly the same… but pretty close. Might be worth to consider in combination with the next point, too, since…:
And then the "flight". Said before by various people, and me, too, that Louis did not experience a fall like this at that point in the books, but both Armand and Lestat did - if you consider that Armand is there in Dubai, and has obviously influenced Louis in some kind of way that "before" applies. Lestat's words obviously fit very well but the drop... hmmm. It just seems too... fitting, if that makes sense.
Now, I said it before, I can obviously be wrong with all of this, and I am not sure if they'll revisit this at all, nor am I sure if they should. In a very real way I just want them to go forward, and let the story unfold, slowly, and with people needing to follow its twists and turns.
I would prefer that to a retelling.

Dark Future Arsenal - Assault Rifles
Returning to Dark Future Arsenal. Today we'll focus on the Assault Rifles. Cyberpunk RED does not have a specific category for Precision Rifles/Battle Rifles, so I've not touched weapons like the SOR-22 or the Achilles yet.
I use headcanon, based on my knowledge of real-world firearms, what canon information is available, my visual inspection of the firearms, and their performance in game, to make educated guesses about how they perform, their place in the weapon sandbox, and the lore behind them. Let me know if you have any suggestions or ideas!
Burst Fire
Tumblr media
Burst fire is a feature many of Cyberpunk 2077's weapons feature. I wanted to incorporate this feature, so I've written some rules for this. Using the autofire skill against a custom DV table, based on the autofire table, this reflects that a rifle in Burst mode will be harder to control than single shot, but easier than autofire. While the number next to the autofire skill represents the maximum you can multiply by for your DMG roll, I am using this to specify how many rounds that weapon fires in Burst mode.
Some weapons use Burst Fire as their primary fire mode, such as the JKE-X2 Kenshin.
Nowaki
Tumblr media
The Nowaki is a weapon that canonically was used in the Cyberpunk 2020 era, though the WAA bullpup was apparently Arasaka's standard rifle (it doesn't appear in the game, so we must assume that either they weren't present at AHQ on 20 August 2023, or Arasaka found the Nowaki preferable and issued that to their troops more often than the WAA.
Excellent quality by default, and with a smaller-than-normal magazine and without suppressive fire, the Nowaki is a peculiar gun in that it's othewrwise a normal AR with a rather high price tag (inflation sucks, yo).
Masamune
Tumblr media
The Masamune is basically the HK416 to the Nowaki's M16A1. The Masamune is canonically capable of autofire (per Cyberpunk Edgerunners), burst fire and single shot fire, and is an excellent quality weapon. In the 2050s? It would be exceedingly rare to see outside of gov or corp hands, hence the price tag. However, its flexibility justifies the price tag. I could see edgerunners boasting that they own one of these.
Umbra
Tumblr media
The Umbra is canonically a piece of junk made from soft metals that will melt under the standard operating conditions. It's basically a Saturday Night Special in AR format. But it has a big magazine, suppressive fire, and Autofire, all for 200 eddies! Good for gangoons, or for noob edgerunner characters. Like all poor quality weapons, it'll jam on a critical fail, but I'm thinking that if an Umbra jams, the weapon becomes useless, and needs to be discarded.
Ajax
Tumblr media
The Ajax is basically an American-made AKM, based on what I can find out about it. The Ajax features a heavy round that travels at a lower velocity, and it kicks like a pig in autofire, much like an AKM. It looks like an AKM as well. I've used a lot of headcanon to make this weapon stand out. In exchange for having a higher DV for autofire, it has 6d6 damage, but also only deals 1/2 damage to armour SP. It'll tear up unarmoured flesh though, no worries about that.
Copperhead and Sidewinder
Tumblr media
The Copperhead is functionally the AK rifle of the 2070s. Though in my current document I compare it to the AKM, I dare say it's closer to the AK-74. It appears to fire an intermediate round, is select fire, generally reliable and has enough of a bang to be worth it. Much like the AKM's 7.62x39mm round compared to the AK-74's 5.45x39mm round, the Copperhead would probably have better armour penetration than the Ajax, but lower damage.
Tumblr media
The Sidewinder is a smart rifle adaptation of the Copperhead. It only shoots Smart rounds (500 eb a pop, per the core rules) and cannot fit any attachments, not even a bayonet. The Sidewinder is unique because it has an internal targeting scope. Provided the player has any cybereyes, and a smart link, the Sidewinder will handle the rest, making it a good option for players who aren't big on cyberware (such as low EMP players, Nomads, or players who would be canonically wary of cyberware).
Kyubi
Tumblr media
The Kyubi's capabilities in the game appear to be similar to the FAL, but more specifically the British L1A1 SLR. It is canonically a weapon that is highly accurate, designed for expert marksmen and competition shooters. I personally believe that this weapon would be fairly powerful, so I might've gone overboard with all the special features. Basically, it can only use the 20 round magazine (because it might be overpowered otherwise), it has a unique holosight that improves close-range accuracy, and it has unique match-grade ammo (produced internally by Tsunami Defense Systems). It's expensive to purchase and use, but if your character's a sniper who doesn't want the debuffs I'll be giving to people who use the HMGs or Sniper Rifles, and you operate at fairly close ranges, perhaps the Kyubi's better than an SOR-22 or an Achilles.

Chapter Count: 1/?
Description:
“Is this how you try picking up women? Give them a fender bender so you have an opportunity to talk to them?”
That gets another nervous chuckle out of him as they round the passenger side of his all-too-familiar grungy van. “Well, fuck. And here I thought I was being subtle. See, I only take that tactic out for a spin with women who are way out of my league.”
Chrissy rolls her eyes, eying his back while he struggles at unlocking the door for her.
God, he’s so full of shit. It wouldn’t be that far of a reach to think he’s only chatting her up out of some sort of pity, right? Because no one ever lays the sweet talk on this thick (and this early!) with a total stra—
“You’re my first test run, sweetheart, if you can fucking believe it,” he goes on to say, so painfully anxious that it makes her heart burst. “Is it, uh— is it working?”
Oh.
Oh, he is insufferable.

What is the general vibe of Oracle Kleo's blog? Your questions get answered quick, and easily, however there is no holding back any information here, things will always be down to earth and to the point. You may come across harsh truths, but they've only ever been things you've known about yourself. This isn't a cushy, sugarcoating blog! You ask, you get an answer. Despite this, the grounding energy that comes from this blog is immense. A sense of confidence, completeness, in the topics covered. A warm hug from a friend, and a blanket over the shoulder, after a moment of grief. I see quite a bit of inspiration being generated from the posts of this blog. When faced with a truth you have known all along, it inspires those to change, or create! A sudden realization, a sudden burst of color. I have no doubt that both Kleo and her followers receive these vibes. There is a never-ending cycle between Miss Kleo, and those who follow her blog. She is inspired, shares her inspiration, and in turn, those who she inspires gives it directly back to her to start the cycle anew.

I was so sure you will give it a shot! 😂
And yes, I like your interpretation to the last bit of it. And yeah! You are absolutely right there is no sugar coating and witholding even the harsh truths here. I'm always for total honesty. 😁
I like your describtion and the way you truly included each one of the cards in your interpretation.
Honestly, the last cycle part got me so blushing and squirming. I feel so flattered. 🤭
I would like to say, that this is how a high level interpretation looks like and it can serve as an inspiration for anybody else who would like to give this little challenge a try.
Thank you so much @dirtyvirgotarot for participating in this reversed game!! 💜💜💜💜💜 And check the blog out!
And for the rest of you, go ahead and give it a go!

The last member of DV's core seven (and project 19), Jess! Completed a couple of days ago; I know she looks weird without her shades, but I wasn't confident I could make those work.
This took a fair bit of experimentation--Jess has a very different body type from her pals, so I had to figure out how to make her both wider and shorter. The answer was to double three of the usual increase rounds, then do a normal round to get her to the number she needed to be at before moving up her torso. Jess's limbs are also wider.
