Haven’t made this as known on other platforms bc I’m nervous to, but I recently had a lot of deaths happen at once and thusly have a bunch of responsibilities thrusted at me, so the episodic format of Roseverse (ex being the pilot) will be put on pauses. To make up for this, I am gonna start uploading the chapters when Barna and I finish them on the official AO3. Though the accompanying audio book may not be present. What I am also possibly planning is uploading a lot of Chapter Two animatics with the voice lines given from the cast, so you can still hear their canon voices. Dialogue will be taken from the actual ao3 fic. I’m sorry for the delay. I’m hoping by the end of this month I can rework and possibly find a way to move around this. If they do well, I may stick to animatic conversations instead of long form movie like productions as it’s hard to keep up with due to my irl life always being so emotional draining.

So, to end off with some good news, you guys get early access to the next chapter. I’ll update accordingly when Barna finishes her revisions.

but I had a thought

If Y/N broke and Crim erased their memories and left them alone

What would Dust's reaction be? I mean sure he was willing to kill us but he had some sort of love for Y/N. And now it's like it doesn't matter. Nothing mattered in the end.

(Also I cannot let go of the adopted Frisk thing so I'm just imagining a slightly molded Frisk, like Y/N had some progress on getting them to respond to stuff, just gripping Y/N's leg, staring blankly yet somehow sadly despite no emotion in their movement or face, refusing to let go even if Y/N doesn't remember them or is too broken to respond. It's sad. But is Frisk sad? They still have Dust and Crimson but that doesn't mean much when it was Y/N who really took care of them. And now they've broken, can't remember a thing. It's not fair.)

dust would feel a faint sense of longing but also relief.

if y/n is out of this ordeal it means he won't need to kill them nor will crimson toy with them. they're SAFE.

while he'd miss them he's learned to move on from loss fairly quickly. he's used to it.

frisk would feel something is missing.

they don't really know what or who or how. something is missing. it's missing missing missing.

they don't understand what this means. or what is gone. only that they feel the lack of something that was once there but isn't there anymore.

while frisk can't feel sadness or joy they would feel attachment to y/n. they'd instinctively follow them without input or knowing why.

y/n would just have frisk clinging to them. no words no expressions. just a stubbornness they don't have the heart to push away.

I like to think even if y/n forgets everything they'll still try to take care of frisk... or find someone suitable to take care of them.

as for dust and crimson? they'll still "check" on y/n from time to time, making sure they're ok... but both refuse to admit it :3
