Most of my followers here are familiar with me for my art, but I have a new trick to show you all: LIVESTREAMING A GAME in support of the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation during this year's Duradash! I'm going to be playing Psychonauts quickly, and badly. Because it's a game with a lot of brains! And brains need fluid! It's thematically appropriate! Dependent on turnout I may be able to also offer some GOAL-BASED INCENTIVES such as: playing levels that would ordinarily be skipped in the routing I'm using! Drawing a picture based on a vote on stream! Something else! The world is your oyster.

Hello, everyone!

Registration for Duradash 2022 is now open! This is an event that aims to spread awareness of and raise funds for CSF leak patients; you can help by signing up, recording your minutes of activity (the goal is 150 minutes per person, but you can do more or less as you need), and raising funds if you can! They're looking for 15,000 collective minutes and $15,000 for this year's event, and I think we can really make a difference by joining or even simply spreading the word. If you do decide to join, you can participate individually or with a team!

It would really mean a lot to my friends and I if you could participate, or even at least reblog this post and let people know of this great event. It runs from June 1st - June 12th, so sign up ASAP! I really really hope we can help the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation as much as possible!

its also the last day of the duradash, period! all of our streams are done but if you donated without entering or haven't donated yet, you can also donate on our main duradash page and enter the raffle by filling out this form here. any donations of $10 or more makes you eligible to enter, so if you donated before but didn't enter, you still can enter right now!

we currently have a lower number of entries in the material pool than we do prizes, so depending on how many people enter today, you may be guaranteed to win something from the material pool. and seriously, who doesn't want to win something like this? (i wanted to put these sideways to take up less room but tumblr post editor wont LET me! cringe)

Hi all! This is sort of different than the usual kind of stuff I post on here but this is something that’s pretty important to me-so here’s my pitch: Do you enjoy the awesome/precious/friendly/cool/stylish little bear above? Don’t want to gamble winning this particular specimen in a raffle and instead wish to secure yourself some guaranteed goods? Interested in participating in a charity/awareness event just by making something for fun? You can do all of those things at the same time with a FREE crochet pattern! This pattern was created as a team effort as participation for Duradash this year-an event held by the Spinal CSF Leak Foundation. The main object of this event is to raise funds as well as have participants perform 150 minutes of activity suitable for their current health level-and crocheting can fit that glove pretty well. Because of this, this pattern is being released for free in order to encourage participation in the event! Less than three hours of your time spent over a little more than a week doing an activity of your own choice is all it takes-we’re just providing this as fun option for fiber artists/inspiration for others to come up with their own activity :] More information and signup page for the event can be found at https://duradash.causevox.com/!
