Why Binding Wire Is Essential for Reinforcing TMT Bar Manufacturers and Steel Structures
Tumblr media
Strong structural integrity forms the backbone of modern construction, where every component plays a crucial role in ensuring building safety and longevity. A reliable steel pipe company understands that binding wire, often overlooked yet indispensable, serves as the critical connection point that holds reinforcement structures together, particularly in projects involving TMT bar manufacturers and steel fabrication.
Understanding Binding Wire's Role in Construction
Binding wire acts as the fundamental binding element in reinforced concrete structures, holding TMT bars and other reinforcement materials in place. This seemingly simple component prevents displacement during concrete pouring and ensures that steel reinforcements maintain their intended configuration throughout the construction process.
Quality steel pipe companies realize that proper reinforcement begins with selecting the right binding wire specifications. The wire must possess specific characteristics:
Maximum tensile strength for secure holding
Enough ductility for easy tying and handling
Resistant to corrosion and environmental conditions
Uniform diameter and surface quality
Important Construction Uses
TMT Bar companies state that binding wire is considerably used in the following applications:
Binding of Reinforcement Steel
Major Application
The main application is in concrete structures for reinforcing bar holding. Binding wire helps ensure that steel reinforcements are well arranged during the concreting process. It, therefore, complements the structure of buildings, bridges, and any infrastructure.
Mesh Fabrication
In mesh production, binding wire links crossing bars to form rebar grids. Those grids help reinforce concrete slabs, walls, and foundations by providing excellent support to loads placed in the structure.
Column and Beam Splicing
Steel pipe company professionals often highlight the importance of binding wire in vertical and horizontal reinforcements. Precise spacing between the bars and correct load distribution is ensured by it in structural elements.
Impact on Construction Quality
High-quality binding wire plays an important role in construction results:
Structural Integrity
Well-fastened reinforcements through quality binding wires ensure that all the steel pieces work in collaboration to strengthen and make the entire structure stronger and more durable.
Construction Efficiency
When TMT Bar Manufacturers give the construction team reliable binding wire, they will be able to work more effectively, thus decreasing the time needed for installation and still maintaining good quality.
Economy
Though binding wire takes up a relatively small percentage of construction costs, its quality impacts the long-term performance and maintenance requirements of the structure.
Choosing Appropriate Binding Wire
Construction workers should consider some factors when acquiring binding wire from a steel pipe company:
Quality of Material
Industry standards regarding strength, flexibility, and durability must be met by the wire. Quality material ensures effective bonding and long-term functionality.
Wire Gauge
Various applications require corresponding wire gauges. Size selection allows for maximized binding strength without affecting workability.
Surface Treatment
Galvanized and annealed provide different benefits for different construction environments and requirements.
Industry Standards and Compliance
Leading TMT Bar Manufacturers ensure their binding wire meets the set industry standards:
Tensile strength requirements
Dimensional tolerance specifications
Surface quality standards
Coating specifications for specialized applications
Future Considerations
As construction techniques evolve, binding wire continues to adapt to new requirements:
Enhanced coating technologies for better corrosion resistance
Improved manufacturing processes for consistent quality
Development of specialized varieties for specific applications
Integration with advanced construction methodologies
Making the Right Choice
Binding wire selection must be considered in accordance with project requirements as well as the quality standards of the construction process. Construction experts should find a reliable supplier of steel pipes who can understand the needs and accordingly produce the correct results.
For successful construction outcomes, professionals must recognize binding wire's essential role and make informed decisions about material selection and application. This attention to detail, combined with quality materials from trusted suppliers, creates the foundation for durable, safe, and reliable structures that stand the test of time.

kind of funny thing when i'm writing trans scaramouche (which is always. just doesn't always actually come up) is that i can't get him to call himself a "man" bc he has too much of a chip on his shoulder abt not being human which he feels like is necessarily implied by the word "man" and well he certainly isn't going to call himself a "boy" bc he has ANOTHER chip on his shoulder about being created to look eternally 16
so if his gender ever comes into question he's just like "I'm Male." and i'm like dude you sound like an incel.
luckily no one in teyvat knows what that is

tangle is so fun because she is a juxtaposition of something collected and contained with something loose and free and in motion
she’s a rough brawler but she has a stance and a style. she’s impulsive and thrillseeking, but she wraps her arms in sports tape to protect them, a precaution. she longs for adventure and action but she will always need to come to rest at home with friends. she’s bouncy and restless, but she’s an intent listener and considerate. she’s got months of off-and-on experience fighting badniks, but is still so new to real Adventure.
and while there’s plenty of traits sonic and tangle share, you can’t reduce her to ‘girl sonic’ without neglecting something of her own characterization. she fundamentally wants something different out of life than sonic does, because she doesn’t need to be anchorless; she isn’t a backpacker, sleeping somewhere new every night. she’s more like a goose, or a frigate bird; flying free for ages and ages, knowing she wants to go somewhere, until time comes to call her back to her origin.
#random rambling at midnight oclock#i love love love contrasting characters who are very similar but have important subtle distinctions#like sonic is very self-determined. he knows what he wants#tangle is not yet. shes chasing adventure because she knows thats how she’ll *find* what she wants#she chases whisper because she knows whisper is better with a friend around. but also because whisper is a gateway to adventure#she’ll even bind herself with structure and expectations if it means coming back to whisper#^ sonic didnt want to join the restoration even for amy. tangle stayed because jewel needed her even if she hated it#or even just because itd help jewel. jewel didnt necessarily need tangle - especially if tangle had the free time to cause Incidents#shes like. selfless for partially selfish reasons. she wants adventure so bad & helping ppl is an adventure#she obviously still cares about people and wants to help too. but still#shes also this mix of. very competent and frightening in ability & strength. but also never really put on a level with most of the main cas#extremely durable tail that can punch metal out + lengthen to any size or reach (at high speed too!!) + hulk loki toss people#plus above average ability/acrobatics + some durability cause she fell a ways in the portal tower arc finding sonic/amy/tails#but also. still not applied as much as she could be + often disadvantaged against characters like surge/mimic/guns#but like. she also was fighting off zombots for some period of time while getting 0% more infected; creatively using chairs & stools#i feel like being true to *that* tangle necessitates her having some sort of plan against surge if/when they clash again.#she DOES strategize even if it’s on the fly. and she does have a pretty good sense of where her own body is/isn’t Marinette clumsy#anyways. au where i rewrite tangle’s recent appearances in line with her characterization for the first ~30 issues#forever anytime i see tangle being characterized as a sonic fangirl im like ‘she wouldnt do that.’#she would ADMIRE sonic absolutely!! she would not Fangirl. they are different. issue 4 she was so chill abt meeting sonic#ive been awake too long….. goodnight

Book binding 101: Materials
I’ve decided to do a series of posts on how to book-bind since I talk about it a lot, and I think it’s a really fun process. This post will include various inexpensive alternatives to “professional” supplies, many of which you will have at home. Not everyone can afford a cricut and that’s ok! I will also be listing more expensive materials for people who want to invest a bit more into the craft, but they absolutely are not a must.
This first post will focus on a list of supplies you can use to make books, but will not yet get into the instructional part of it. That will come later!
Anyway…
Bookbinding Materials: Essentials
These are items you need to bind, but many you can find around your house!
Sewing thread: Any thread will work for bookbinding, though waxed threads can help reduce tangles. You can also double up thread as another way to prevent tangling if you so choose. Waxed thread is definitely more expensive, so it can be good to use what you have starting out. Here’s a link to the waxed thread I used for those that are interested. You can buy it in a lot of different colors! (White is good if want an “invisible” thread).
Sewing needle: A lot of people say to use a curved needle for binding, but I’ve never found it to be much different from using a regular needle. If you have one, I would recommend a larger needle, however, since it’s better for piercing through signatures (aka the stacks of pages you bind together). In other words: there’s no special needle you need to bind books.
Ruler: I’d recommend any metal ruler since it’s better to use as a straight edge for cutting. There’s a good chance you already have one. It’s just used for measuring and being a straight edge. Nothing fancy.
Paper: Any paper will work. What you wanna use depends on your project really: if you’re binding together a work of text you’ll want to use some kind of printer paper (of course). If you’re making a sketchbook, you can fold up some sketching paper. I like to get sketchbooks with perforated edges so I can tear them out easily if I want to use a blank page for bookbinding. You can also buy large sheets of paper made for any medium. For example, if you want a sheet of water color paper, just search “large watercolor paper sheet”.
Awl (or all alternative): An awl is a tool used to poke sewing holes. It’s nice because it’s sharp and ergonomic, but you can totally also use a pushpin or even a sewing needle.
Bone folder (or a bone folder alternative): A bone folder creates sharp creases when you fold your pages, making them lay flatter. It also helps define the hinge gap on finished books, making it open easier. You can use a ruler if you don’t have one.
PVA glue: PVA glue is what to look out for when it comes to binding glue. There are some designed specifically for bookbinding, which spread out a bit faster than ones that aren’t. You can also use tacky glue which IS a PVA glue.
Book board: Also sometimes called chip board, Davey board, or mat board. This is what you’ll use for hard cover books. It is important to use book board specially, as cardboard will warp. You can buy book board directly, or you can cut the covers off of old textbooks or binders, unwrap the paper/plastic around the board, and use that!
Box cutter or utility knife: for cutting the board
Decorative paper and book cloth: For wrapping around cover boards and for endpapers. Book cloth can also be used to cover boards. You can also draw your own designs on Bristol paper if you want (or any paper with a similar thickness/durability). When it comes to decorative paper I like to either get scrapbook paper or rolls of fancy handmade paper (you can get those on Etsy, through paper source, or through bookbinding websites).
Bookbinding materials: Optional (and not crazy expensive)
These are supplies that you don’t need for binding but that can make the process easier and/or help with the decorative elements of your books. I’d recommend these things for when you’ve been binding for a while and feel these things could be helpful!
Paper trimmer: can cut a few sheets of paper evenly—I find it really helpful for endpapers
Stencils: Super helpful if you want to add text on the covers
Stamps: Good for adding text and also great for adding illustrations if you’re not able to draw them on your own. You can buy ink pads for them or use markers by coloring over the stamp lightly and using the stamp immediately so it doesn’t dry (I’ve tested this with alcohol markers and it works very well)
Paint markers: great for drawing directly on the cover. Since they’re opaque they can imitate the look of vinyl. You can also get them super painterly if you want. The internet usually talks about poscas but there are tons of different brands. Do some research, figure out what you like & can afford.
Hot foil pen & heat transfer foil: Perfect if you want to add foil to your covers but don’t want to spend a ton of money on a cricut. A lot of binders uses the foil quill brand, but there are ones that cost less and work the same (I have both a cheaper one & an actual foil quill because I wanted some nib variation. As long as the pen has good reviews that aren’t from bots you should be good). Also remember: don’t use foil designed for going through laminators (I.e. decofoil) . It doesn’t work the same way.
Bookbinding Materials—Expensive
These are materials I’d recommend for people who have been bookbinding for a while & feel that it’s something they really want to invest in. To be fully transparent, I’m a college student and don’t own these and have little personal experience with them. However, I know a lot of binders who love them!
Cricut machine—Cricuts are cutting machines that can make precise cuts into paper, wood, bookboard, or vinyl. A lot of binders will cut designs out of vinyl and apply them to the covers using a heat press.
Book press—What it sounds like. The pressure helps the pages lay flat and stay even. That being said you can stack heavy books on top of your projects, it just may not have the same even pressure. I also know some people will DIY these, so if you’re skilled with power tools you can give it a go!
Paper guillotine—like a paper trimmer but bigger and can cut more sheets of paper at once. I believe really good ones can also be used to cut bookboard!
Those are all the materials I can think of! Hope this can work as a good starting point for those interested in the craft. I’ll definitely be posting more info about bookbinding for people who are interested :)

Where JJK Men Are Sensitive
Satoru, Suguru, Nanami, Toji, Sukuna, Yuta, Yuji, Megumi
Warnings: all characters are 18+, this is a smut headcanon post with various levels of lewd-content lol, proceed with caution... or not, I don't judge. I mean I'm the one who wrote it so...
A/N: tried a different style than how I did this with the Hashira lol. Thank you all for blowing up my "How JJK Men Eat Pussy 2.0" post! I was and still am absolutely floored with how quickly y'all blew it up!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Satoru Gojo
Satoru doesn’t tell you where he is sensitive because he wants you to figure it out through “exploration”. Given the fact that he is the Satoru Gojo, you jump on the offer to spend hours learning every inch of his body. You make a whole day out of it really, and it goes without saying that your endeavor was very, very successful. Sensitive and ticklish run a very thin line for Satoru and it is a line that is very easily blurred. Your first discovery was that he has a very sensitive neck. Something as small as your hands cupping the back of it was enough to have Satoru shivering in your embrace, whining a little into the kiss. You learned very quickly that one of his greatest weaknesses is your lips on his pulse, leaving faint bruises where you sucked. As your exploration continued, you found that Satoru was very reactive when you touched his chest. More specifically, you hadn’t expected him to moan the way he did when your tongue ran across his nipple by mistake. The noise that escaped him, paired with the visible twitch of his dick was enough for you to take the other between your thumb and pointer finger and pinch. The third discovery was that Satoru has particularly sensitive balls. Yep, that’s right, his fucking balls. You had given him head before, but you had never dared to touch him there since you weren’t sure how he would react. Since this was a “free-for-all” as Satoru put it, you gingerly cupped him and watched the way his jaw clenched. Your eyes were glued to his face as you massaged them, alternating your pressure to see how far you could take it before pleasure pushed the line and turned into pain. Turns out, they are sensitive but durable and well… he doesn’t mind if you’re a bit rough with him from time to time (all the time).
Suguru Geto
Suguru refuses to let you figure out where he is sensitive until you catch him off guard one night and bind his wrists. Of course he can easily get out of them but he’s interested in indulging you because you look too damn cute when you think you’ve won. You’re pretty upfront with him about what you intend to do, which only makes him a little antsy as your fingers nimbly undo the rest of his clothing while you remain in nothing but his t-shirt. Suguru isn’t quite used to the roles being reversed but he’ll give it a try for you. The first sensitive point on his body that you discover is his ears, and it’s not because of his gauges. You actually avoid his earlobes all together, instead catching him by surprise as you sink your teeth into the shell of his ear. This earns a reaction neither of you expected, a low groan that vibrates his chest as you alternate the pressure of your nibbling before pulling away. Suguru’s cheeks are red now as you continue to explore various points on him, his dick painfully hard and sitting proudly against his abdomen as you work. The next spot is actually his sides, your fingernails scraping them has his body shivering in response. It seems some of Suguru’s sensitivity resides in the most random places, because you didn’t quite envision yourself laughing as you grazed your teeth down his side before biting softly and watching his back arch. By the time you reach his waist, Suguru is red in the face and panting, precum oozing steadily out of his tip and resting on his abdomen. He’s looking at you with blown out pupils, quietly begging you to touch him where it really “matters”, to which you shake your head. Suguru’s thighs are his other weakness, which you kind of figured since he always gets very fidgety when you sit on his lap or grind on it.
Kento Nanami
Nanami is a tough man to break down, but over the years you have located a few of his weak points. One of Nanami’s major weaknesses is his jaw/neck, more specifically when you’re kissing and sucking and biting there. There is something about the sensual drag of your teeth on his skin that has his composure dissolving. You know this of course, so you use it to get your way when Nanami is being a little too stubborn for his own good. This neck sensitivity goes a little further though, something as simple as adjusting his tie or fixing his collar will have Nanami shivering from your touch. You found another weak spot by mistake, turns out Nanami is rather ticklish when it comes to his Stomach. You had been riding him, initially placing your hands behind you on his legs to hold yourself as your hips rose and fell. But your back was getting sore and the angle was starting to get tiring, so you slowed and pushed yourself forward rather than leaning back. The moment your hands made contact with Nanami’s abs, he was gritting his teeth and throwing his head back. You initially thought you had hurt him by pressing down on him, but that worried thought disappeared the moment he gasped out for you to “not move” when you started to pull your hands away. You started paying a little more attention to his stomach shortly after that, just because you enjoyed the way he squirmed and fell apart. Unknown to you still is the fact that Nanami’s nipples are very sensitive. He keeps it hidden because he is utterly mortified by how turned on he gets from it. Even if your hand ghosts over them, even if he’s still fully dressed, the feeling has his face turning a deep shade of red. He knows if you figure this out, you’ll go out of your way to touch him there regardless of where you both are, and he just knows he won’t be able to stop the heat from flooding his face.
Toji Fushiguro
Toji is pretty damn adamant that he has no “weak spots”. That’s up until your hand rests on the back of his slutty ass, tiny waist and he’s crumbling at the feeling. Something about your fingers on his skin has Toji losing his train of thought, he’ll stop mid-sentence if he feels your hands on his waist. Maybe it’s because of how intimate that one touch is, especially when you’re the one grabbing his waist and he’s not the one grabbing yours. Shiu likes to give Toji a funny look if you do this while in his presence, it’s typically one Toji ignores. To continue this “men with sensitive nipples” agenda I got going on, Toji will be putty in your hands the moment your lips wrap around one of his nipples. He’s utterly shameless when you start sucking and biting his chest, moaning and groaning while his hips buck into the air. You are mindful of how you straddle him solely because you don’t want to give him any sort of relief when you toy with him, hence his restless hips meeting empty air rather than your own. Toji’s rather embarrassed by how sensitive the head of his dick is, especially when you’re giving him head. Even the smallest of touches, the quickest tug, even the gentlest lick, will have his jaw going slack. You’re just as cruel as he is sometimes, deciding to focus all of your attention on the tip of his cock just to watch him struggle to clench his slack-jaw to try and hide his noises. You’ll have him coming in no time at all, making sure to be relentless in your teasing after the fact because he can be just as relentless with you when roles are reversed. A bonus spot is his balls, because why the fuck wouldn’t they be. He’s desperate to keep that one a secret but you are too damn observant to get anything by.
Sukuna Ryomen
Sukuna, sensitive? Nah, no fucking way. He is the only man on this list that can confidently say he doesn’t have a single point on his body that will have him crumbling if you touch it. The thing with Sukuna is that he will not let you have enough freedom to roam his body. You are his, but he is not yours. That’s not to say he’ll turn you down if you start sucking and kissing his jaw and neck, the gentle scrape of your teeth certainly do something to ease the tension in his shoulders. But that definitely doesn’t mean those spots are sensitive, nope, not even a little. Sukuna’s hips definitely don’t falter when you grind against his pubic bone while he has you stuffed to the brim with his cock. Oh and he absolutely can’t stand it when your nails rake his shoulders, specifically between his shoulder blades. The king of curses himself has NO weak points, I mean really he doesn’t. There is nothing you can do to get the curse to submit to you, and that’s just the facts. Sukuna definitely doesn’t groan when you do any of these things, he definitely doesn’t utter your name in a deep, warning rumble as you try and fuck with him. And he most definitely does not enjoy when you litter his skin with your own bite marks… just warning ya~
Yuta Okkotsu
Where isn’t this man sensitive? Yuta is pretty embarrassed about how easily he can fall apart under your touch, especially when you are holding his hips while you kiss him. Something about the way your fingers dig into his skin, as if trying to keep him close while he has his teeth sinking into your bottom lip. Like he’ll disappear if you let him go, fuck it just get’s him going. Depending on where you are, Yuta will likely have you pinned to the wall the moment he feels your hands desperately clawing at his hips. You found out pretty quickly that Yuta’s hip sensitivity spreads down to his thighs. The moment your back hits the wall, Yuta is shamelessly shoving his leg between your thighs, spreading them for him as his knee hits the wall and his thigh is slotted snuggle against your heat. Yuta’s noises are relentless as your hips grind down on his thigh, the muscles tensing under your movements and only adding to the shared pleasure of it. You realize pretty fast that Yuta enjoys marking you, but that he also enjoys being marked. That goes hand in hand with his numerous sensitive spots. One time you actually bit his shoulder and he swore he could have come, completely untouched, right then and there. You’ll have his eyes nearly crossing if you rake your nails along his back, the stimulation your sex offers him paired with the ticklish/scratchy stimulation of your nails on his skin is enough to have him sobbing. Yuta will absolutely lose his mind if you bite his neck too, he gets off to being covered in your love bites. That being said, Yuta’s dick is just as sensitive, if not more sensitive than the rest of his body. When you first started having sex, you would tease him by saying you need to fuck more often so he can build his tolerance. Not that you mind having multiple short rounds, especially since he makes sure you cum Every. Single. Time.
Yuji Itadori
Bless this man, he’s so touch starved that it’s impossible for him to not get the chills whenever you touch him. Yuji’s beyond sensitive, especially when it comes to your touch. Some of his most sensitive spots are actually pretty random and sometimes very specific. For example, just below his ear, that spot on your head where your jaw ends and your ear lobe nearly meet. You kissed him there once, a kiss placed among many, but that was the one spot that had him breathing out, begging you to do it again. So you did, kissing intently and sucking a bruise there until Yuji’s fingers were nearly bruising your waist. You learned his body pretty fast, finding that his chest was pretty sensitive as well, earning you pretty noises every time you so much as ran a finger down his sternum. He doesn’t particularly enjoy his nipples being toyed with roughly, that’s one area that’s more painful-sensitive rather than pleasurable-sensitive. But he doesn’t mind if you kiss them or lick them gently. He’s all for massages, especially when you have him on his stomach, your hands kneading the muscular flesh of his back until he’s shamelessly groaning as you work out the tense knots. But nothing could have prepared him for the pleasure your hands brought him when you began massaging the small of his back. It was enough to turn his groans into moans, goosebumps erupting over his flesh as he shivered uncontrollably. You listened to him, following the instructions he cried out for you to not stop, noticing the way he was grinding his hips into the mattress below you. The sight had been so lewd that you couldn’t make yourself stop even if you tried, dying to see how it all played out, dying to see if he’d make himself cum. Yuji adores it when you run your hands all over him, the feathery light, ticklish touches are enough to make his lips buck, cock twitching violently as he waits for you to do more to him.
Megumi Fushiguro
Oh Megumi…Megumi Megumi Megumi. He takes after his fathers, not willing to admit he has any weak spots but also willing to let you try and find them. Contradictory but either way, you’re eager to know how to make the typically stoic man crumble. It came as a shock when you figured out one of his sensitive points within thirty seconds of climbing into his lap. Megumi’s thighs are very sensitive, even from something as simple as your weight settling on them. It also helps that the heat from your covered sex can be felt through the material of his clothes, your closeness only making it more apparent. You’ll use this information against him later on, especially on nights where you just want to get him worked up. Turns out Megumi’s neck is pretty ticklish, the mix of your soft lips and hair as well as your teeth gently grazing him is intoxicating. Megumi finds himself struggling to stifle his noises as you mark his neck up with as many love bites and bruises as you can before his self restraint runs thin and he gives up on this whole “locate the weak spots” endeavor. Did I mention he takes after his fathers, cause he does. Megumi is mortified by this fact, but his balls are pretty damn sensitive. After an hour of making out and letting you feel him up, you finally reward him for his patience and give him head. He’d rather your sex but he’s too damn worked up to care at the moment, and your mouth is fucking perfect anyways. So, given that he’s let you have more leeway in the last hour than he has during any other of your sexual encounters, you take the liberty of cupping his sac as you wrap your lips around his tip. You nearly choked when he almost immediately spilled into your mouth, the hour of teasing had worked him up more than either of you anticipated and he had no strength left to mentally prepare for you doing something as bold as that.

This is all true and accurate. In commercial book printing the machines that can sew books are manufactured by a company called SMYTH and books made that way are typically referred to as “smyth sewn”. If you poke around on YouTube you can find videos of these machines in action.
I’ve been told smyth sewn books are typically textbooks, encyclopaedias, notebooks and children’s books, and while I can’t speak for the first three I do work with children’s books and can verify that - all our picture books are smyth sewn and casebound (either self-ended or with endpapers) and in the case of paperback editions they’re still smyth sewn but the spine is glued to the cover. Book cloth though, that I only see on high end nonfiction (coffee table) books…for a bookcloth-like texture to imitate a high end finish, hardbacks can be bound in wibalin or arlin, a textured cloth imitation paper. (arlin is slightly cheaper than wibalin.) occasionally we’ll do a “fancy” quarter bound picture book but the spine is never bookcloth, it’ll be wibalin, and then the front and back cover papers will be a smooth paper, which imo kinda defeats the point of a quarter binding since it’s all just paper.
publishing companies will be like ~ooh this is a hardcover oooh it's so durable that will be $35~ and then you see the actual book and it's like. "perfect"-bound with endbands glued on crooked and a completely plain paper cover under the dust jacket. my dudes this shit is a mass market paperback with delusions of grandeur

Back in October last year, I started reading This is an Adjuration by @not-freyja.
By the time I had made it to chapter 5, I had already started typesetting this story as I read because I knew this would be one of those stories that I needed to have on my shelf.
When I finally caught up to the story at chapter 31, I begged the author to let me bind this when it was finished.
Nearly a year later, and what is probably the most important bind of my life is finally finished. Check out these glamour shots, and if you want to hear more about the actual binding process and about how this fic actually changed my life, see below.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So funny story, before I get into the technical side of this bind, but this fic actually changed my life. Not as in I was greatly emotionally moved by the story, though don't get me wrong I absolutely was, but genuinely this fic introduced me to some of the best people I have ever had to privilege of knowing (Hello Class, you know who you are 🩷), and also, it introduced me to Freyja, the incredibly talented author, who, as I type this, is curled up in bed next to me fast asleep after flying half way around the world to go on a two week long date with me.
Moral of the story folks is comment on the fics you like. You might accidentally meet the love of your life on, and I can't believe I'm saying this, AO3.
Anyways, about the bind!
This bind was a challenge from day 1. I had to do the typeset for this 300k word fic 4 times, and had to split it across 2 volumes. This was the longest fic I have ever attempted to bind, and it was so thick I couldn't get it in the paper trimmer.
To make this book as durable as possible, I attempted a few techniques. I secured it with 3 tapes, I made an Oxford hollow, I rounded the spine, I made a slipcase and I used 2.3mm boards where normally I use 1.8mm.
The slipcase is covered with embossed faux leather, buckram and plain ribbon, and lined with gold satin fabric. I've never made a slipcase before so this was an experience.
The books are covered with an emerald green silk finish bookcloth which really gave the books the luxury they deserved. I foiled custom end papers as well as every chapter title page using heat reactive transfer foil on toner ink (never again I am never doing that again omg it took days). Huge thank you to @la-sera for letting me use her artwork which helped inspire this fic!
The grey flashback chapters I had to use HTV for the border decoration and I'm very happy with how that turned out because it was so easy and straight forward, unfortunately it just wasn't viable for the whole book.
It feels weird to finally have these books done. They have my blood, sweat, tears and my heart poured into them, and I've been working on them for so long that it's odd to actually have them finished. I'm so proud of this bind, and feel like I've grown so much as a fanbinder by making these.
Anyways, if anyone has any questions about the process, please don't hesitate to ask!
(and if you are an Linked Universe fan and haven't read Adjuration yet, this is your sign!)

Role Of TMT Saria and Dowel Bars in Modern Pavement Construction

It takes more than merely pouring concrete to create long-lasting, sturdy pavements. The strategic use of premium materials, especially those provided by reliable TMT Saria manufacturers, and the accurate installation of dowel bars form the foundation of outstanding pavement construction. The lifetime and structural integrity of the pavement are greatly dependent on this cooperative interaction.
Understanding the Foundation: TMT Saria in Pavement Projects
TMT Saria, produced by specialized TMT Saria manufacturers, forms the critical reinforcement structure within concrete pavements. These steel bars provide essential tensile strength, preventing crack formation and ensuring uniform load distribution across the pavement surface. The quality of TMT Saria directly influences pavement durability, making manufacturer selection a pivotal decision in construction planning.
The binding wire used to secure TMT Saria must meet specific strength requirements. High-grade binding wire ensures reinforcement components remain firmly in place during concrete pouring, preventing displacement that could compromise structural integrity. Quality binding wire also resists corrosion, maintaining its grip strength throughout the pavement's lifetime.
Dowel Bars: The Load Transfer Champions
Dowel bars serve as vital load transfer devices between concrete pavement slabs. These smooth steel bars facilitate proper load distribution, preventing differential movement between adjacent slabs and ensuring smooth transitions at joints. When combined with properly installed TMT Saria, dowel bars create a robust system that significantly extends pavement life and reduces maintenance requirements.
Quality Considerations in Material Selection
Selecting materials from a reliable TMT Saria manufacturer impacts several crucial aspects of pavement performance:
Structural Integrity
Premium TMT Saria exhibits consistent mechanical properties
Higher yield strength ensures better crack resistance
Uniform chemical composition guarantees predictable performance
Durability Factors
Superior coating on dowel bars prevents corrosion
High-quality binding wire maintains reinforcement positioning
Well-manufactured TMT Saria resists environmental degradation
Cost-Effectiveness
Premium materials reduce long-term maintenance expenses
Quality dowel bars minimize joint deterioration
Professional-grade binding wire ensures reliable reinforcement fixing
Real-World Applications and Benefits
Modern infrastructure projects demonstrate the advantages of using premium materials. Highway pavements constructed with high-grade TMT Saria and precisely installed dowel bars show significantly reduced maintenance requirements and extended service life. Airport runways, which face extreme load conditions, particularly benefit from this optimal material combination.
The Science Behind the Synergy
The interaction between TMT Saria and dowel bars creates a comprehensive reinforcement system. While TMT Saria provides overall structural strength, dowel bars manage load transfer at critical joint locations. This partnership prevents common pavement issues such as:
Corner cracking
Slab displacement
Joint deterioration
Surface spalling
Installation Best Practices
Proper installation maximizes the benefits of quality materials. Precise spacing of dowel bars, coupled with correctly positioned TMT Saria, ensures optimal load distribution. Professional-grade binding wire secures reinforcement components, maintaining their designed positions during concrete placement.
Long-Term Performance Benefits
Pavements constructed using materials from reputable TMT Saria manufacturers, coupled with quality dowel bars, demonstrate superior performance metrics:
Extended service life
Reduced maintenance frequency
Better ride quality
Enhanced structural stability
Improved load-bearing capacity
Making the Right Choice
Selecting construction materials requires careful consideration of manufacturer credentials, product specifications, and quality certifications. Leading TMT Saria manufacturers invest in rigorous quality control processes, ensuring consistent product performance. When combined with properly specified dowel bars and binding wire, these materials create pavements that stand the test of time.
Taking Action for Quality Construction
For construction professionals planning pavement projects, partnering with established TMT Saria manufacturers represents a crucial first step toward project success. Evaluate potential suppliers based on their track record, quality control measures, and product specifications. Remember that initial material quality determines long-term pavement performance, making careful supplier selection essential for project success.

Ink!Sans Cultural Inspiration
(revised version)
Tumblr media

Disclaimer!
This post aims to explore and analyze both the prominent and subtle East Asian cultural influences—primarily Japanese—that have shaped the character of Ink!Sans. By examining these influences, we can better understand how traditional East Asian aesthetics and artistic practices are woven into Ink’s design and powers. If any information in this essay is inaccurate or unintentionally offensive, please don’t hesitate to reach out! This essay serves as a revised and updated version of the analysis conducted last year, incorporating new insights and refined perspectives to enhance our understanding of Ink!Sans’s character and his cultural influences.

''It was a night where it felt like i was a miserable artist and i was very frustrated at my work and it felt like i wasn’t worth alot (we all have these), then I came across a picture of a japanese ink brush, and it was all I needed to start doodling a concept.
That’s how Ink is born.''
.
.
According to Ink’s creator, Comyet, the idea for Ink!Sans was sparked by an image of a brush specifically crafted for sumi and Chinese ink art. In China, the tradition of using specialized ink brushes, known as Chinese writing brushes, has been a foundational element in the art of calligraphy and traditional painting for centuries. These brushes are highly valued for their precision and versatility, allowing artists to produce a range of strokes, from fine lines to bold, expressive swashes. The brush itself is composed of a bamboo handle and a carefully tapered head made from animal hair, designed to hold and release ink in controlled flows.
This tool became central not only in Chinese culture but also influenced Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese art, where calligraphy holds a similar cultural significance and is closely tied to writing systems derived from Chinese characters. These brushes symbolize the control, fluidity, and intentionality required in both written language and visual art across East Asia. This deep-rooted cultural importance of the ink brush inspired Ink!Sans's character design and powers, allowing him to wield 'ink-based' abilities, symbolizing both creativity and adaptability. His main weapon—a brush—reflects this heritage and further emphasizes the connection between art and battle, as he channels the brush’s traditional associations with fluidity and strength into his fighting style, merging the arts of calligraphy and combat.
Tumblr media
(visual example of an ink calligraphy brush)
At glance, the ink material is an enduring medium that still surrounds society till this day and it's used in multiple cultures across the world.
Writing with ink calligraphy brushes is also common in Europe and the Middle East, where artisans developed ink using a unique combination of iron salts and oak galls. This type of ink, known as iron gall ink, initially appeared in rich, dark tones, making it highly desirable for manuscripts and official documents due to its bold, readable quality. However, over time, the iron in the ink oxidized, resulting in a distinct color shift to warm, rust-like brown tones. This characteristic fading can still be observed today in ancient manuscripts, such as early European literary works, where the reddish-brown hues give a sense of history to these documents. The durability and aesthetic appeal of iron gall ink contributed significantly to its prevalence in both regions, influencing the artistry of calligraphy and manuscript illumination for centuries.
Like previously mentioned, Ink!Sans was inspired by traditional ink materials developed in East Asia, where artisans mastered the creation of carbon-based black ink, often using soot or charcoal mixed with binding agents like animal glue. This type of ink, known for its rich, deep color and lasting durability, was a staple in East Asian calligraphy and artwork. Unlike iron gall ink, this carbon-based ink maintained its dark, almost jet-black color for centuries, even in varying environmental conditions. The resilience of this ink allowed ancient texts, paintings, and scrolls to retain their striking contrast and clarity, making it a celebrated medium in East Asian art and culture. Ink!Sans draws inspiration from this enduring quality, symbolizing strength, creativity, and the timelessness of artistic expression
Tumblr media
(visual example of an ancient art piece that used carbon-based black ink)
To note, unlike iron gall ink, carbon based inks are still very common to this day.
Although the primary Chinese calligraphic scripts were well established by the fourth century, calligraphy as an art form has continually evolved over the centuries, adapting to new cultural and aesthetic influences. Skilled calligraphers, who spent years mastering brush techniques and perfecting their own unique hand, were celebrated for their distinctive styles, and their works became templates for both art and personal expression. Over time, subsequent generations of artists studied these revered styles, incorporating and reinterpreting them to reflect their individual voices and the changing social landscapes. This ongoing transformation has kept Chinese calligraphy dynamic and relevant, and it remains a respected art form today, blending tradition with contemporary aesthetics.
In Japan, calligraphy also held deep cultural significance, symbolizing both personal refinement and intellectual achievement. Calligraphy was regarded as a mark of scholarly sophistication and artistic taste, with a variety of tools developed to enhance the writing experience. One notable example is the suzuribako ("ink stone box"), a portable lacquered wood box designed to store an inkstone, water dropper, brushes, and solid ink sticks. These boxes were crafted with precision and adorned with intricate lacquer designs, reflecting their owner’s status and appreciation for art. Suzuribako were lightweight and convenient, enabling calligraphers to take their tools outdoors or to scenic locations to write letters, diary entries, or poetry. This practice not only facilitated creativity but also connected the act of writing with nature, creating an immersive experience where one could find inspiration in the surrounding beauty while crafting words in elegant brushstrokes. The combination of these refined tools and settings underscored calligraphy’s role as a deeply personal and aesthetic pursuit in Japanese culture.
From this perspective, it is essential to highlight that Ink's character draws inspiration from traditional ink calligraphy, a detail reflected in his distinctive speech font, 'Note This'.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Example of Ink's canon speaking font and ancient calligraphy)
Also clarified in an ask on her side blog, Comyet explained that traditional samurai clothing served as a key inspiration for Ink's outfit redesign in 2020. Ink's creator thoughtfully incorporated these characteristics to enhance Ink’s visual appeal and connection to his main source of inspiraton. This influence is particularly noticeable in the first and second analyses of Ink's character, where we see clear visual cues from iconic Japanese garments like the hakama.
Tumblr media
(Ink!sans reference sheet for the 2020 design, credit goes to @/comyet)
Ink's pants were inspired by hakama, a traditional Japanese garment known for its distinctive design as skirt-like trousers, typically worn over a kimono. Hakama are historically associated with a range of activities, from ceremonial occasions to martial arts, and are often considered a symbol of status and refinement. Specifically, Ink's pants appear to be inspired by the umanori style of hakama, which is characterized by a split or division in the middle, allowing for greater freedom of movement. This style was traditionally worn by samurai and other individuals involved in horseback riding, as the design allowed for ease of movement and flexibility when mounting or riding a horse.
Tumblr media
The umanori hakama were not only practical for riding but also served as a functional yet elegant garment, embodying the balance of form and function typical in Japanese clothing. By incorporating this style into Ink's character design, Comyet likely intended to evoke themes of mobility, agility, and strength, while subtly referencing Japanese martial traditions and the samurai ethos. This choice enhances Ink's overall aesthetic, highlighting his dynamic, action-oriented nature, suggesting that his character is both rooted in tradition and capable of fluid, graceful movement.
The hakama was not merely a functional garment but also a powerful symbol of social status, loyalty, and the samurai's role in Edo society. While the hakama was predominantly worn by samurai, it also found its place in the wardrobe of scholars, priests, and members of the aristocracy, who wore it as part of their ceremonial dress.
Furthermore, Comyet has explained that Ink's outfit and appearance were partially inspired by the clothing worn by samurai, as depicted in ukiyo-e prints from the Edo Period of Japan. Ukiyo-e, which translates to 'pictures of the floating world,' was a popular genre of woodblock prints and paintings that flourished from the 17th to the 19th centuries, showcasing scenes of everyday life, landscapes, kabuki actors, and beautiful women. However, samurai were also common subjects of these prints, often portrayed in full regalia, highlighting their status and discipline.
Tumblr media
(this line of text was found within old versions of Ink's FAQ post, mainly from 2020-2021)
In these ukiyo-e representations, samurai are frequently depicted wearing a distinctive combination of garments, including elaborate kamishimo (formal attire worn by samurai), hakama (wide trousers), and haori (a kimono-style jacket worn over the kimono), along with ornate accessories such as sashes and swords. These samurai were often shown in dynamic poses, suggesting a sense of power, grace, and readiness for battle, which reflected their societal role as both warriors and landowners.
Ukiyo-e representations of samurai often carried deeper meanings beyond their visual impact. Samurai in these prints were more than just warriors; they were cultural icons, symbols of virtue, duty, and sacrifice. Some prints portrayed samurai in the context of popular stories or historical events, such as famous battles or legendary acts of heroism. For example, the prints often depicted samurai as loyal retainers or leaders fighting for justice, reflecting the ideal of bushidō, the samurai code of ethics, which emphasized virtues like loyalty, courage, and respect.
Tumblr media
(Ukiyo-e art made by Katsukama Shun'ei, Edo Period)
During the Edo period, the hakama was an important garment worn by the nobility as part of their formal attire, complementing other traditional outfits of the time, such as the noshi and kariginu, a sleeveless jacket with distinctive, sharply defined shoulders. These garments were designed to symbolize the status and refined taste of their wearers. The hakama, with its wide, flowing silhouette, was highly functional and practical, allowing for ease of movement while maintaining an air of elegance.
On another note, Ink's design is not the only aspect influenced by Japanese culture; the musical themes associated with him also draw significant inspiration from traditional Japanese music, as described by Comyet. The incorporation of these musical elements into Ink's character enhances the depth and cultural resonance of his persona, creating a multi-layered experience that ties his abilities, appearance, and thematic representation to a broader cultural context.
A predominant theme associated with Ink that highlights his deep inspiration from traditional Asian styles is one called 'BrushWork.' This musical theme, featured in the popular series Underverse, plays a crucial role in reflecting Ink’s connection to East Asian culture, particularly through its use of the shamisen, a traditional Japanese stringed instrument, and a flute. The choice of the shamisen in this composition is significant, as it evokes the soundscape of Japan, with its distinct, plucked tones often associated with traditional music, storytelling, and performance arts.
The shamisen is a core instrument in genres such as kabuki (a traditional form of Japanese drama) and bunraku (puppet theater), where it is used to underscore the emotional intensity and narrative depth of the performances. In BrushWork, the shamisen helps set the tone for Ink’s character, enhancing the theme of 'brushwork' through its fluid, emotive sound.
Honorable mention: The instrumental video for ''Soulless Heart'', features an artwork that is inspired by traditional sumi-e (ink wash painting), a Japanese art form renowned for its elegant brushwork and minimalistic yet profound depictions of nature. This particular artwork, which accompanies the music, was created by the talented artist @/sakuramochi64, whose style reflects the delicate balance and graceful simplicity typical of sumi-e paintings.

“Your Highness. With all due respect, I’d love to offer you a few words of advice.” “First of all. Don’t let a prisoner of war out of your sight. You mustn’t leave them alone, even in a locked room. If you can’t be there yourself, post guards inside the room with them. At least two.” “Second. Always search your captive for weapons more than once. If you have an underling frisk a prisoner, you should do the final check yourself. Honestly, you shouldn’t leave them clothed—strip them completely. That way they won’t be able to hide any weapons or tools to aid their escape. This is especially important if the prisoner is a woman. If she’s indecent, she’ll feel she can’t run away, and she’ll be afraid to try.” “Third. You neglected to bind my hands and feet. When you do bind a prisoner, make sure they’re in handcuffs and that the base of their thumbs is tied off with a durable rope. As for their ankles—I imagine this goes without saying, but it’s best to fasten them to a pillar or a bed, something solid.” “But even with all of that, it’s still half-hearted. Do you know how best to ensure someone can’t run away?” “You break their arms and legs.”

The Big Guide to Humans: Skin
First: Yes, it is true that humans have whole-body stripes that not all species can see. Yes, it is also true that they themselves cannot usually see them. They are an artifact of pre-natal development and are present from birth. They usually have no significance, though some skin abnormalities may follow their usually-invisible path (or may make them visible).
See body art for questions about deliberate skin markings.
--- Human skin is a soft yet durable covering made of stretchy proteins. It provides protection from water loss, pathogens and UV radiation, insulates their body against external temperatures, synthesizes a chemical they use to make their skeleton, and is home to humans' abilities to feel touch and to cool themselves.
The skin is made up of layers, further divided into more layers, and the different functions are distributed within them. The details of these layers are not necessary to know for working alongside humans; suffice it to say that the topmost layer may noticeably flake off in very dry environs and this is mostly harmless but irritating to the human, oozing a clear but yellow-tinted liquid (see immune system) represents a minor but disproportionately painful injury of having scraped off the uppermost layers, and bleeding (oozing or gushing a red opaque liquid, see circulatory system) means the injury is deeper still.
Skin that has been damaged can usually repair itself over time, although it may take assistance (externally binding the wound shut, for example). Deeper wounds are likely to scar, that is, to be repaired with a tougher skin of different appearance. This is not the same thing as a callus, seen on the base of human feet and sometimes on the fingers, in which the skin grows thicker and tougher to resist pressure injuries.
It is normal for tiny hairs to be present in the skin over most of the human's body, regardless of sex or gender. Both sexes may have prominent hair on their faces or torso after puberty (see lifespan and development), but it is much more common with men.
If the human is warm (likely if ambient temperature is above melting point of gallium) or has been exerting themselves, they may "sweat." Salt water will leak in small amounts from all over their skin, concentrated on the forehead/under their hair, in the soft socket under where their arms meet the body, and around the external genitalia, to make use of evaporative cooling. They may begin to smell strongly; they usually find this smell unpleasant. If the human is cold, or in some scary situations, the tiny hairs may stand up instead of laying flat. This is an evolutionary artifact from ancestors with thicker fur and no longer helps to keep them warm or frightens predators.
Humans' sense of touch is very sensitive, especially on their hands, but outside of their hands it is sometimes not precise. You could lay one of their hairs on a surface and ask them to find it by feel, and they would be able to do so with their hands even if the surface was not smooth. If you dropped a single hair on the bare arm of a human, they would feel it, but they would not be able to pinpoint its exact location without seeing it.
!! Due to tiny dangerous creatures on their home planet, humans will usually immediately attempt to remove the source of an unexpected small light touch, often by swiping at it with a hand or by jerking their body. If you are fragile or tiny, and this would damage or dislodge you, get their attention before physical contact. !!
While humans can only see a narrow portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, they can sense somewhat beyond that band with their skin. Infrared can be sensed as heat, especially at short distances. Ultraviolet can be sensed over time, as specialized molecules in the skin cause cells to sacrifice themselves to prevent it from penetrating farther into the skin. However, by the time the human has noticed the feeling of this cell-sacrifice, the skin is likely to be damaged enough that it will darken and/or become red and sensitive soon (within the timespan of a human sleep cycle). Humans with naturally darker skin can generally withstand ultraviolet radiation for longer periods of time before becoming damaged. When the darkening or reddening has passed, small brown marks called "freckles" will often remain, usually for the rest of the human's life. If the skin has reached the red stage, as the color returns to normal the damaged skin may come off in thin sheets as though the human is molting. Do not offer assistance with removal unless they ask.
Human skin is covered in bacteria, viruses, and fungi that are mostly harmless to them. This is covered in more detail under microbiome with some pertinent points under mating.

The Creation of a Physical Copy of Coming Home (But Not to You) - The complete summary
Since, I promised I would update this as soon as I started working on it and boy, has it been several hours of me trying to learn how to use Microsoft word, hundreds of songs in my Jayvik playlist and perhaps, a small minor emotional breakdown. I have gotten Coming Home (But Not to You) formatted for bookbinding.
I hope @lesbianherald knows that they have not only written about 678 pages of a glorious and beautiful story but when in book format, that comes out to be 340 pages which is bigger than Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare (which.. you out wrote him twice). I swear, I promised to update you and that’s literally all I have besides a minor practice signature before I venture out to find a book suitable to hold the piece and paper that looks a tad more vintage.
The first draft pages in word looked like this, this was also MY final concept before I went out of my way to make a little page design in procreate. (Featured later)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Artist featured also gave me permission to use this for this personal project. Please, check them out with this link here: X (their art is gorgeous)
[Written January 3rd, 2025]
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
Okay, we’ve settled on some covers. Might be wondering why I didn’t want to make one from scratch? I didn’t want to weather it, personally. It’s a lot more work and the threading and binding itself is going to take most of my time. I’m working on A4 (Actually, it ended up being smaller than A4 at about 11 by 8.25 but when folded it’s 5.5 by 8.25) paper format, having to adjust my measurements as we go because they were drastically different in the word document. I edited some of the features of the pages and actually sketched out a design for my Cricut to use for the cover and chapter page emblems for just a little personal flare!
I actually went to the thrift store and broke apart books that werent in use to provide me a proper book board because the ones I had were too thick! Reuse and recycle, baby! (All for the power of Jayvik)
A little thing about this project is that I actually bought weathered paper for this! Yeah, that.. it didn’t end up coming LMAO. I did buy some book corners for some metal flare. The hexcore design I drew out, myself, in procreate and also cut out in Cricut (thank you, TikTok tutorials).
Tumblr media
A little fact as well; I haven’t bookbinded in 3 years! My books when I started were actually GOD awful— which is also part of why I chose a base book frame because that was my biggest weakness when it came to this. The binding itself was actually the easiest part to me when I started! I kid you not, I did very much come out of retirement because of Jayvik. I wanted a physical book I could mark and leave notes on, so why not make it myself? I’m extremely thankful, I got permission to do this and plan on doing this with another one of my favorite Jayvik fanfictions once it is completed, so perhaps… maybe. I don’t know, after I had gotten all the signatures out I had realized that the book covers used WERE TOO SMALL! This is the book before pressing for over 48 hours and in a middle of a snowstorm!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Written on January 6th, 2025]
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
And the book is binded! I had used wax thread which is already thicker and way more durable and actually made for bookbinding. It has already had about two layers of glue on the binding but I tend to do about four just for extra strength and protection. It should be going in the book in about a day or two, which will lead to the final update of this!
Tumblr media
It took me about three well-spread out days, six hours of actual sewing and teaching myself how to use a curved needle without violently stabbing my skin but I was able to get the box-stitch in.. I tried to even out the layers as I had binded too fast in one part and two signatures ended up being uneven, whoops. I fixed that with a tap of a literal hammer (No pun intended) but this was truly an experience. The parts with the open black page on front is when the stitching was glued and the book pages were placed on. This also meant I had the actual book for it to sit in ready. Which was crazy to think about.
Would you believe me if I told you I measured this all by eye and had to cut the pages four different ways to make this book actually become a book. The next paragraphs will be glamor shots. Thank you for sticking with me— encouraging me on this because of my LACK of experience in this entire field and prayers for my poor fingers.
[Written on January 13th, 2025]
─── ⋆⋅☼⋅⋆ ───
And we’re here, it’s finished and settled. Here are the glamor shots. I do plan on doing more bookbinding in the future as I DID enjoy the process but folding and making signatures will forever be my enemy. Here’s the glamor shots and underneath the cut is all my reactions and build up to finishing this monster of a book.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couple things, I never want to do this again. If I ever do a fanfiction THIS big again. I’m spilting it into two books, perhaps even three depending on how big it is. The symbol on the front is the Piltover symbol, I tried to find Jayce’s Talis house symbol and THERES NOTHING, I literally tried drawing and everything. My Cricut didn’t want to cut it and trust me, I tried for over three hours with the symbol.
What only matters is that I think it’s cute. I think the simplicity and mix of tears added to the final design a lot more than I thought it would.
If I ever do this again. (Knowing me, I will.) I plan on revisiting this, probably make another version when I have more bookbinding knowledge under my belt LMAO, but enjoy this lengthy post. I’m now going to go to bed.
Also huge shout out to my Zelda art book for being my primary book press for this entire thing. I really need a book press.

The dimly lit lab was cold, sterile. The faint hum of machinery and the flicker of overhead lights created a haunting atmosphere. Orochimaru stood over a cluttered table, his pale, snake-like features twisted in fascination as he scribbled notes onto a scroll, the sound of the inkbrush on paper the only noise accompanying his steady breathing.
In the centre of the room, (Y/N) sat on a stone slab, arms and legs restrained by chakra-infused bindings. You were conscious, though groggy, the remnants of a sedative still coursing through your veins. It wasn’t the first time you’d found yourself in this position, but this time something felt different. The weight of Orochimaru’s gaze on you was heavier, more intense. His golden, slit-pupil eyes glimmered with a mix of curiosity and malice.
“You’re awake, I see,” Orochimaru said in his smooth, venomous voice, barely looking up from his notes. “Good. I wouldn’t want you to miss this.”
You swallowed, throat dry, unsure of what he meant. You’d been here for what felt like days, subjected to countless experiments, chakra prodded and poked, manipulated in ways you couldn’t begin to understand. But the creeping fear in your chest told you that this new experiment was different.
Orochimaru turned toward you, holding a small vial of shimmering liquid in his hand. The liquid glowed faintly in the dim light, an eerie, unnatural hue. He approached slowly, savouring each step, his pale fingers caressing the glass as if it held the answer to every question he’d ever asked.
“You must be wondering why you’re here this time,” he mused, circling you like a predator sizing up its prey. “You’ve always had great potential. A strong body, durable chakra… but I’m more interested in how malleable you are. How… adaptable.”
His fingers traced a line along your jaw, and you recoiled, but the bindings kept you in place. His touch was cold, uncomfortably so, as if he’d just emerged from a snake’s den. You couldn’t help but shudder.
He laughed, low and chilling. “Today, we’re going to explore a different aspect of human transformation. Your hormones… your very essence of masculinity… I’ll be tweaking those today.”
Your eyes widened in shock, confusion twisting in your gut. You struggled against the restraints, but Orochimaru continued, undeterred.
“You see,” he began, moving to his tools and picking up a long, thin syringe filled with the liquid from the vial, “I’ve always been fascinated by the boundaries of gender and biology. The line between male and female is so fragile… so easily blurred.”
He approached you again, this time kneeling at your side. His voice lowered to a whisper, as if he were sharing a secret meant only for you. “I wonder what happens when we push it. What changes will your body undergo when I flood it with hormones not meant for you?”
Before you could protest, he pressed the syringe to your neck, and you felt a cold prick as the liquid entered your bloodstream. It burned slightly, a slow, creeping warmth spreading through your veins.
“You’ll begin to notice the effects soon enough,” Orochimaru said, standing back and watching with a predatory gleam in his eyes. “Your body will change. Muscles will soften, features will shift. You’ll become… something new, something neither wholly male nor female.”
Your heart pounded in your chest, panic rising as the warmth continued to spread. You felt a strange tingling in your limbs, your skin becoming more sensitive to the cold air of the lab. Your muscles, once toned and firm, began to feel softer, weaker, as if something fundamental was changing within you.
Orochimaru watched you closely, his eyes drinking in every small alteration, every twitch of discomfort. “It’s remarkable, isn’t it? The human body can be so easily reshaped, moulded like clay. And soon, you will be the perfect specimen… a living testament to my brilliance.”
Your breaths came quicker, the world around you spinning as the changes started to become more pronounced. Your face felt different, softer, your eyes less sharp. It could be from exhaustion or a permanent change. You hoped for the first. With one last look at the snake your eyelids got too heavy and you let the dark consume you for a moment.
The changes came slowly at first—a subtle shift in the way your skin felt, a softening of your muscles that left you feeling strangely unfamiliar in your own body. Your chest, once flat and firm, had started to feel swollen, almost tender, over the course of several days since Orochimaru had injected you with the mysterious serum.
At first, you brushed it off as part of the general discomfort, just another unsettling side effect of whatever sick experiment Orochimaru had decided to conduct this time. But now, the tightness in your chest was unmistakable, a heaviness that you couldn’t ignore any longer.
You sat on the cold stone slab of Orochimaru’s lab, bound as usual, though your energy to resist had been sapped long ago. The faint echo of Orochimaru's voice, his silky, cold laugh, reverberated in your ears as you shifted uncomfortably. Your skin felt hot under your shirt, the fabric pressing against your chest more than usual.
Then, something wet seeped through your clothing.
Your eyes went wide with shock as you glanced down, your chest heaving as confusion and panic gripped you. Beneath your shirt, two damp spots were spreading across the fabric, right over where your chest had begun to swell. Slowly, almost hesitantly, you brought your bound hands up, pulling the cloth away from your skin, and you froze.
There, right where you knew it shouldn’t be possible, a thin trail of liquid was leaking from your nipples.
Your heart raced, disbelief flooding your mind. This can’t be happening. You tugged the shirt down further, your breath catching in your throat as you saw it up close—small droplets of milk pooling at your skin. It wasn’t just soreness or swelling. You were lactating.
"What… what the hell is this?" you muttered under your breath, as if speaking aloud might make it less real.
Orochimaru's cold, mocking voice sliced through the silence. "Ah, you've noticed." He emerged from the shadows, a look of perverse satisfaction on his face as he approached. "The process is coming along even faster than I anticipated."
You stared at him, a mix of horror and confusion. "You—what have you done to me?"
Orochimaru chuckled, tilting his head as if you were asking a ridiculous question. "It’s simple, really. Your hormones have been carefully recalibrated, your body reshaped from the inside out. You're not just changing in appearance, but in function. Isn’t it fascinating how adaptable the human body is?" His eyes gleamed with sinister curiosity. "I must say, I wasn't expecting lactation so soon, but it’s an excellent sign."
Your stomach twisted in revulsion, and you instinctively tried to pull away from him, but the bindings held you in place. "Why? What could you possibly gain from this?" you demanded, your voice cracking as panic crept in.
Orochimaru’s smile widened, his tongue flicking out briefly as he regarded you like a prized specimen. "Why, for the sake of knowledge, of course. You are a living experiment, the first of many. Imagine the possibilities, the applications of manipulating human biology at such a fundamental level. To create, to control... To blur the lines between what is natural and what can be forced."
You shuddered as another drop of milk fell from your chest, staining your shirt. It was unnatural, violating in ways you couldn’t fully articulate.
Orochimaru leaned in close, his voice barely a whisper. "You’re becoming something new, something extraordinary. Doesn’t that excite you, even just a little?"
You clenched your teeth, suppressing the urge to lash out even though your body was betraying you, weakened by the changes. "You're insane," you spat, your voice thick with disgust.
Orochimaru straightened up, unphased by your defiance, and turned back toward his table of tools and vials. "Perhaps," he mused, "but in time, you may come to appreciate the magnitude of this experiment. After all, you are the first of your kind."
You stared at him, your chest still damp with the unnatural evidence of your transformation, and felt a cold wave of dread wash over you. Orochimaru walked to you with his silent steps, a scroll in one hand and a pen in the other. “Just let me document some details, be an obedient good specimen in that time.” he said with a slightly threatening voice and sat one the stone slab beside your hips. A kunai appeared in his hand and he cut your shirt with a precise flick of his wrist. The cold metal grazed your unbearably warm skin and you let a groan out that came out like a light moan.
“Oh, how interesting” the snake chuckled and wrote down some of the changes. All that time your eyes were fixed on the dark ceiling, watching some water droplets falling down. That rhythm nearly makes you forget these yellow predatory eyes that you were so familiar with. Just as you began to dissociate, his hand cupped your right chest and gave it a light squeeze. Your nipple was positioned between his middle and ring finger. The small rosy bud was a stark contrast to the pale and cold skin of the scientist.
The pearly white substance leaked out on the hand and Orochimaru smiled satisfied. He brought his hand up and licked a droplet off his hand while maintaining eye contact with the embarrassed specimen. The sweet taste made the scientist moan in satisfaction.
Orochimaru hopped off the table and you let out a breath, you didn't even know you held. Just as he was about to leave, he looked back at you over his shoulder with a sinister glint in his sharp eyes, “I`m long from being finished with you” he said and closed the door behind you, leaving you alone with your thoughts. Contemplating what he may have in store for you when he gets back from whatever twisted mission he has.
Days or hours later he came back, finding you looking down as more droplets went down on the table. You looked at him with hooded eyes, the dension in your chest keeping you awake all day. A whine escaped your throat, surprising you by the higher voice and the need to get released from the pressure.
Orochimaru saw how you pushed your chest up for display. “What a whine thing you are-” his voice was vibrating through the quiet lair.”Want some help?” he hissed out with a satisfied glint in his eyes as he saw how red you got. Your blush nearly reaches your chest.
Orochimaru took that as an invitation and positioned himself between your legs this time. He looked down at you with his hungry eyes and his long tongue lolled out. A big warm blob of saliva fell onto the bound man and his breath hitched. Orochimaru hooked one of his fingers on the waistband of the other slacks and pushed them completely off. With a mocking laugh he looked at the now exposed (Y/N). “It got smaller” The snake remarked and held the warm and now small length in his freezing hand, making the other shudder and biting a moan down.
“Do you think you are still able to cum?-” Orochimaru mused with a calculating look. “And if yes, would it be even potent?”. (Y/N)´s jaw tensed at the realisation. A small tear escaped his dull eyes and Oroshimaru leaned up at him and licked it off with his weird tongue making the other cringe at the wet sensation, which he quickly forgot when Orochimaru started to pump his length.
The snake leaned a bit more down and engulfed a soft nipple with his mouth. His sharp canines gracing the now soft tissue. (Y/N) tried to stop breathing too much, so he doesn't get pierced by them which backfired at him when Orochimaru held his base with a surprising strength he didn't usually use on (Y/N). This let a twisted kind of pleasure bloom in the pit of the stomach of the captivated male.
Orochimaru tried to stay focused on his experiment, however all focus left his body, the moment his taste buds came in contact with the sweet milk. He closed his eyes and made his hand work faster on (Y/N). The latter was getting overwhelmed with that amount of pleasure. Even in his predicaments right now. Getting rid of the tension around his chest felt already as if he could cum by just that.
After Orochimaru drank one side dry he pulled back a bit, letting his tongue circle the nipple with a steady pace. (Y/N) had his eyes closed with an open mouth, however no sound came out. The only warning that he was close would be the way he was pulling his restais. Orochimaru decided to let him free to see all of his reactions and the first thing happening was that his pale upper arm was getting grabbed with a surprising strength, making red angry marks appear on his unblemished upper arm.
Just as he was about to bound (Y/N) back, he convoluted and Orochimaru felt his hand getting wet. With a grin he looked at the now spent male or more like person and went off to his table to document everything. Letting the now nearly passed out person rest, he sat there scribbling his thousand theories and ideas.
