Which colors do the plants in your worlds have? Green like on earth or something else?

Also I have a world in which the plants are purple red :)

the plant colours on my planets vary a lot from planet to planet

dumuno: black, green, purple, and the various colours of coraloid

lotred: red and turquoise

ath: yellow thermophytes and a variety of colours for chemotrophs

and the planet that pedal and ma-ch live on having greenish plants

You mentioned there are 2 other planets you're going to be covering awhile ago, what are the planets like, or what are the flora and fauna on them like? Also, you mentioned there will be sophonts on them. I doubt you have this all planned out exactly yet, but what biomes did they evolve from? And also, if you wouldn't mind answering which biomes the urn and )ta evolved in?

this question is very broad and asks a lot more than im honestly willing to give since half of it is still in “beta”, so im just gonna give very basic information about the planets and their life

Ath- a rogue planet formerly bustling with terrestrial life with a sea under a thick sheet of ice, flora are yellow chemotrophs and fauna are grouped into two groups, one of which has a skeleton derived of muscles which allows them to adapt to the various pressure levels within their environment and shelled mollusk like organisms

Lotred- a small humid planet orbiting an A-type star, its flora is hard and red, and its fauna is divided into two groups as well, one which has a mutualistic relationship with a subgroup of flora, and another which are highly convergent on arthropods and lack the relationship with flora

as for the sophonts on each of these planets origins

Urn [Dumuno]-the temperate steppe

◗ta [Ngiu◗]-the forests of maschora

Ap [Ath]-a reef like biome around a hydrothermal vent

Drekol [Lotred]-the mountains of their southern continent

im gonna assume you mean species, for dumuno yes they are all individual species, since dumuno gained sapient life during the lull of biodiversity from the aftermath of a mass extinction, and basically made the world incompatible for mass speciation, though in the modern dumunoan age the subspecies are slowly developing into species and so on and so forth, and [as of right now] unless explicitly specified, the other planets organisms i share are all genera which have more specialized species which fill more specific niches

earth vertebrates: having my breathing holes connected to my feeding holes does have disadvantages but it lets me make complex vocalizations and suction feed among other things :3

If the oviparent, which I understand is the organism which cares for the eggs and in some cases raises their young, has to lose whatever mating ritual the two organisms do wouldn't that make them less fit to take care of their young compared to the victor?

yeah this question has been in my inbox awhile, i had a lot of issues trying to figure out how to deal with mating selection for hermaphroditic organisms, in the end after like.. almost a literal year of trying to figure it out [i used to have all my spec evo stuff just in my computer for fun before i remembered i had an old tumblr account i could turn into a spec evo account], and i decided that half of their mating selection involves the two individuals involved deciding whether or not the other is fit enough to be worth mating in the first place, so the oviparent, though usually being the one who loses the mating ritual, is still fit due to other more visual means, hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions if youre confused

the map of ngiu• is very unspecified compared to your map of dumuno, why is that?

its because i havent figured out where each biome will go on each continent, when i finish the last continents biome i will update the picture entirely in a different post, but leading up to that, when i finish a continent i'll recolour a continent on each map to be more accurate to what the continents colours would be like, and reblog the map post with each update, so itll update about 2 times before the new post is made

how do you chose a name for your organisms? what language are they? because I remember a name that had a • (I think that want the symbol but it's the most similar in my keyboard) and it was my first time seeing it

honestly i barely had a system, i used to just go into google translate latin and greek type two or however many things i had plans for in the organism and then just put them together, and for a fair few until the shadow forest thats what most of them will be like, i did figure out how to do systematic names though so for the shadow forest itll be like that, and the common names is a little hard since i have a two word system with traits about them, like "flaming canid" dog like thing that can use fire, or for a more recent example "tree mouse" is a mouse like thing that spends all its time around trees, its gotten harder to do things like that, also i make conlangs basically entirely separate from their names [minus maybe a place or something], the one with the hemispheres ◖ and ◗ is a language for ngiu◗ called ewar, and then theres another one for dumuno called vivo, since i have made stories for every planet before and after i made ecosystems for them, conlangs being made up languages ofc, but yeah
