My cat has a problem with object permanence. I'm his favorite person and he gets super upset when I'm not in the house. Sometimes though, I am in fact in the house and he just forgot. This morning he was laying at the end of my bed, and he was so cute so I gave him a scritch. He then promptly woke up, meowed twice, and came up to me to sit on my lap. He was literally across from me and he forgot I was there. God I love him
