[More–or–Less] Confirmed: Lauren and Kendra Both Gave Birth in 2022

On October 30, 2022, Joy (Duggar) + Austin Forsyth posted a video on their YouTube, which documented them telling their families that they were expecting Baby #3. About 5½ Minutes in, Joy Facetimes Jim Bob and tells him the news. She asks what 'number' grandchild this one is, and Jim Bob says: "Number 30."

Up until Joy's video, Duggar Data had 27 GrandDuggars on the list— 25 Already Born, and 2 In Utero (Duggar–Wissmann #1, Forsyth #3). For months, it has also been widely speculated—but annoyingly, not confirmed—that Lauren and Kendra had had their 2nd and 4th Child, respectively, earlier this year.

Now that we know Forsyth #3 is GrandDuggar #30—and thus, that our list is missing not one, not two, but 3 Grands—it is clear that we were on to something with our speculation... From now on, Duggar Data considers Duggar–Swanson 2 (Baby C) and Duggar–Caldwell #4 to be "confirmed" births.

When did they give birth, exactly? Good question! We don't know, and the data is very limited, but here's my best attempt to estimate with what we've got...

Baby C Was Probably Born In March.

Let's start with Josiah + Lauren. Here are the three major facts we have to work with...

Josiah + Lauren didn't attend Jer + Hannah's Wedding on March 26, 2022. They weren't in any of the photos or video, plus Josiah was conspicuously absent from the wedding party. (The Duggar Boys closest to Jed's age, from Joe to James, were groomsmen, but Si was inexplicably skipped.)

While at church on April 3, 2022, Josiah + Lauren were seen with an infant car seat at their feet. We'll call this the Car Seat Photo.

During church on September 26, 2022, Lauren was seen with an unknown baby on her lap. The baby wasn't wearing a bow. We'll call it the Baby On Lap Photo.

Additionally, many of y'all suspected that Lauren was expecting at Truett's Sex Reveal (October 4, 2021).

With the lack of a bow, the Baby On Lap Photo suggests Baby C is a boy. (This isn't confirmed.) Regardless, we know from the Car Seat Photo that he had arrived by April 3, 2022. Duggar Data thinks that he was born fairly close to then, and that that explains Si + Lauren's absence from Jer + Hannah's Wedding. (If Lauren was full–term, or had very recently given birth, they might've been reasonably unable or unwilling to travel so far, even for a wedding.) Given this, Duggar Data estimates that Lauren gave birth in March of 2022. The Sex Reveal photo also fits w/ a March arrival. Lauren would've been 4.5 Months Along—and very possibly "showing"—at the time.

So, we'll estimate that Lauren gave birth in March. Given my usual rule for estimating vague data like this, Duggar Data will use March 16, 2022—i.e., the midpoint of the month—as an Approximate DOB for Baby C, until and unless we get better data.

Duggar–Caldwell #4 Was Probably Born In May.

Moving on to Joe + Kendra... Here's the evidence that Baby #4 has arrived—

On or around June 16, 2022, Reddit discovered a photo of Joe + Kendra at a restaurant with their 3 Children, plus an unidentified infant (~3 Weeks Old) in a stroller. We'll call it the Stroller Photo.

On or around October 15, 2022, Christina Caldwell posted to FB and referenced having "grandbabies"—not just one grandbaby—born since February 2021.

Christina's October 15th Post also included photos, including one where you can see a woman in the background nursing. While her face isn't visible, her feet are and Reddit believes they're Kendra's feet. We'll call this the Nursing Photo.

Additionally, many of y'all thought Kendra looked pregnant at Jer + Hannah's Wedding on March 26, 2022.

Christina's October 15th Facebook Post references "grandbabies"—plural, rather than "grandbaby," singular—that have been born since February 2021. Honestly, this makes no sense unless Kendra + Joe have had a 4th Child. Brooklyn was born in February 2021, so she's the first "grandbaby" born in or after February 2021. And, we know she is not the only one, because Christina said "grandbabies." And, there's no one else who could've produced the other grandchild, as Kendra is the only Caldwell Sibling who is married. Barring an out–of–wedlock birth, which is so unlikely, it must be Kendra + Joe's.

As for when Baby #4 arrived... Assuming s/he is the baby from the Stroller Photo, it must've been some time before June 16, 2022. In the photo, the baby was said to be 3ish Weeks Old. Since we don't have anything else to go on, let's just assume the baby was 21 Days Old on June 16, 2022... That gives us an Approximate DOB of May 26, 2022.

None of the other evidence is overly helpful as far at the DOB goes; however, all of the evidence could be consistent with a birth in May. At Jer + Hannah's Wedding in Late March, Kendra looked pregnant. If she had the baby in Late May, she would've been 7 Months Along and obviously showing. The Nursing Photo could also be consistent with a May birth. We don't know when that photo is from, but there is a good chance Kendra is still nursing if she gave birth in May—so, there's no reason to think it can't be her in that photo.

TL;DR We don't know exactly when Lauren and Kendra gave birth, but Duggar Data is using the following Approximate DOBs—

Duggar–Swanson #2 March 16, 2022

Duggar–Caldwell #4 May 26, 2022

Both of these are rough estimates; however, I'm fairly sure the birth order was Lauren, then Kendra.

Thanks for your ask, but a hard one. Not because I like all of them but mostly because none of them is really my dress (if I would get married, hopefully, someday).

But here is the rundown.

Hannah Wissmann Duggar

I don't really like the sleeves but the rest of the dress is more like my taste.

2. Lauren Swanson Duggar

Some my found it boring except for the shape of the dress. She was the first Duggar/Bates bride (If I remember correctly) to choose something more fitting. But I think the plain white is more my taste.

3. Abbie Burnett Duggar

The sparkle dress of Abbie is prefect for her. I don't think I'm that sparkling but who knows there will be something sparkling on my dress someday.

4. Katey Nakatsu Duggar

I don't like the layers but I do like the top.

5. Kendra Caldwell Duggar

Kendra had even more layers so I even more dislike it.

6. Claire Spivey Duggar

Also layers... and with lace. Not my kind of thing.

7. Anna Keller Duggar

I feel sorry for Anna. Using the dress from your sister and your (crapy) husband tearing the train on the big day. It's boring and doesn't fit her very well. Please Anna, leave Josh, find someone better and get a better weddingdress.

Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson Are Married: 'Our Wedding Day Was Absolutely Perfect!'

Josiah Duggar is a married man!

The Counting On star wed Lauren Swanson on Saturday at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.

“What a joy it is to be husband and wife!” the couple exclusively tells PEOPLE of the special Duggar family celebration. “Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!”

Added Duggar, “What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride walking down the aisle. We are so thankful the Lord has brought us to this place and we can’t wait to begin our journey as husband and wife!”

For their special day, the bride chose a wedding gown from The White Dress Boutique, while her eight bridesmaids wore blush-colored dresses handmade by Jana Duggar and Josh Duggar’s wife Anna.

The ceremony was officiated by Lauren’s father Dwain Swanson, and the romantic theme incorporated flowers, wood and iron. For their wedding colors, the couple chose a combination of grey and blue, pink and olive, plus green and white.

At the reception, guests enjoyed cupcakes, a candy bar and a strawberry shortcake-flavored, heart-shaped wedding cake.

Before saying “I do,” the pair hosted a “summer-style” indoor cookout rehearsal dinner with burgers, hot dogs and sides on the menu.

The newlyweds first announced they were courting in January and got engaged just two months later.

“We are overjoyed to begin this new phase of our lives together,” Josiah told PEOPLE in January. “Through the years our families’ friendship has allowed us to get to know one another as friends. I can definitely say I have found a great friend … even better than I could have hoped for or imagined.”

He continued: “I so appreciate Lauren’s Christlike character and tender heart toward others. She bring sunshine into the room and encourages everyone around her. It’s always stood out to me that in every situation, she looks for the one who appears to be sad or lonely and quickly can brighten their day by sharing words of hope, an encouraging scripture, a prayer or even a simple smile with them.”

Lauren is the eldest of eight children and has been a family friend of the Duggars for years, even making an appearance on an episode of 19 Kids and Counting.

They have put the date down as August 28th 2018, which is Josiah’s birthday. I don’t think this will be the real date though.

People are speculating on Reddit snark that Lauren and Josiah removed all their photos because of the Josh situation. But if they are so disgusted by what he did and how he was trying to blame it on others at the lot (which could have included Josiah), I don’t see why they would then want to be in the wedding of Anna’s brother and daughter of the man watching Josh. Does Lauren being in the wedding shock you?

I think it may be to do with Dwain testifying. They might know they'll get unwanted media attention so decided to get rid of Instagram to reduce this. There could be multiple reasons but it doesn't have to be suspicious. The fact that Josh used the same password for all his accounts alone proves to me that it was likely him who downloaded the material.

Lauren being in Hannah and David's wedding isn't at all shocking or to me. We must remember that all these fundies all run in the same circles. Jim Bob met the Rebers in church so it's highly likely the Swansons met them at some point and stuck up a friendship too. No matter whether Hannah's parents are providing a bail house for Josh or not, Hannah has done nothing wrong so I see no reason why Lauren wouldn't want to be, or indeed shouldn't be in the wedding. Why punish Hannah for something she hasn't done.

When I was a teenager a friend of mine was getting married and asked me to be bridesmaid. My mum wouldn't let me go and it devastated the friend. It's something I'm angry at my mum for to this day. It deeply upset the friend and eventually created a rift between us.

Duggar wedding dress series, pt. 7: Lauren Duggar

I keep having mixed feelings about Lauren’s real wedding dress. I love that it was simple and fit her like a glove, but I wish the front of it didn’t look so T-shirty, and the beautiful beading on the back was concealed by her hair. I have decided on a dress that fits Lauren’s preferred aesthetic—sleek, no lace, and modest—but still has a touch of interest. I have also included an updo hairstyle with a veil, because Lauren’s hair was simply too straggly and messy in her wedding photos.

This dress has long, opaque sleeves, and a bateau neckline. The skirt is shorter in front and longer in the back, showing a glimpse of the blush-colored underskirt. The dress is also belted with a narrow metal belt. I LOVE the pop of colour, and how it would match Lauren’s grey, blush and green colour scheme. I also think the high-low skirt adds some visual interest, but it’s still modest. Lauren has a gorgeous figure, and the body-hugging bodice shows it off.

I don’t actually like the shoes pictured above, but I wanted you to see a detail shot of the skirt. Here are the shows I would choose for Lauren. Wouldn’t it be nice to catch a glimpse of those beautiful floral heels? I like the idea of Lauren wearing pink shoes under her dress.

Finally, I would love Lauren’s dress to be complemented with a white-to-blush ombre veil, pinned onto a simple chignon or bun.

Duggar Wedding Dress Ranking!

Alright first #Duggarrank is going to be on wedding dresses!

1. Jessa Lauren Seewald (née Duggar)

I always loved the fit of this dress and the scoop neck! I also loved the beaded bodice. The only thing I would change is the color, as I personally like a yellow based or blue based white.

2. Jinger Nicole Vuolo (née Duggar)

This train is just to die for. The dress fit her perfectly, and the buttons on the back are a simple yet beautiful touch. The lace didn’t look at all cheap; in fact, I think it added to the stunning ensemble!

3. Lauren Milagro Duggar (née Swanson)

Lauren’s choice originally didn’t strike me as particularly stunning, but it certainly has grown on me! The simple cut, the tight fit, and the elegance of the veil really pulled the whole look together into a sleek and modern wedding look, reminiscent of the wedding look of Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.

4. Joy Anna Forsyth (née Duggar)

Joy’s choice of gown I thought worked really well for her! The only thing that really bothered me about this dress was the looseness of the sleeves and the cheap looking lace. Apart from those two things, I thought she looked absolutely radiant on her special day! Her veil was simple, allowing for the attention to go to her beautiful dress, and her simplistic hair left down and barely curled seemed to be almost a bittersweet homage to her tomboyish and carefree childhood. If only she had been allowed to stay rebellious and tomboyish:(

5. Kendra Renée Duggar (née Caldwell)

This dress didn’t particularly do it for me, however, I very much enjoyed how it seemed to reflect Kendra’s bubbly and almost childish personality. I did love the beaded bodice, however, the tulle ruffled skirts seemed a bit childish to me, acting as a painful reminder of her youth.

6. Jill Michelle Dillard (née Duggar)

This dress never appealed to me very much simply due to the fit. I’ve never really enjoyed dresses that flare out past the waist, and this is no exception. The lace was beautiful, as well as the color, I just could never get over the fit. The veil was simplistic and lovely, yet I still find myself unable to get over the odd flare of the dress just below her hips.

7. Anna Renée Duggar (née Keller)

Anna’s dress I did not ever care for very much. The fabric looked cheap, the dress was very plain, the veil was short and frankly, it was quite boring. The two things that I do enjoy about her dress were the flare out at the waist and the color. I thought that the color was a nice stark white, and as I have previously mentioned, I’ve always loved waist fit and flare dresses.
