I was discussing how much I hate western philosophy with some classmates the other day and this guy I was talking to was thinking I was being harsh, but then I said “if you can afford to drop everything and go to the Alps or a Tibetan monastery or whatever to go ‘find meaning’ for months, I don’t really give a shit about what you have to say about life” and the guy goes “…..yeah. Yeah okay.”
