it really kills me so bad how deeply alone eddie is in his grief. which like of course a really big part of that is self-inflicted, it’s his own habit to pack it away or to tell himself he shouldn’t feel anything other than I Miss Her, which is why he ends up in fight club or in a 2-week long affair with her lookalike. and on top of that like, the only other person who cares about shannon or her memory is his son, who obviously has complicated feelings of his own and obviously should not be bearing eddie’s specific issues with his mom. meanwhile his parents are literally trying to guilt him into moving chris back to el paso while they’re in town for her funeral and saying she’s making his life chaos even in death and it’s like. well eddie is messy and certainly has handled his grief messily but that doesn’t make the aloneness any less real. which makes me want to explode

out of all the bats which one gets the most worried when peter gets injured ( except for dick cause that is an obvious answer)

bruce and jason are very equal on that when it comes to any of the kids getting injured. considering their history, they just can't help it. bruce losing his kids is his worst nightmare and it keeps happening to him, vs jay wanting to save and keep everyone safe the way bruce failed to do with him,,,, when peter got hurt during the black spider chapter, jay took it harder than peter thinks, and it'll come up again later. there's a flashback/talking about a conversation they had later that peter isn't aware of yet. it's also why jay called in the new chapter. black spider was manipulated by the LoA and dipped in laz pits a lot, has a similar background to jay, he hurt peter... it brought a lot back up for him and he really wanted to hear that dick and peter were both doing fine

as for the others, they also do not!!! like!!!! when peter gets injured!!! dami shows it through his indirect warnings "do not run kff again" and stuff. but out of all of them, tim is the most likely to let peter tap out, if that makes sense. the others would continue to push peter to take a break/get out of a fight if he's injured, but tim? he's very worried, but he's the one who waits and watches. he lets peter decide his own limits, but is constantly there to catch him when peter does reach a limit
