sal fisher
x reader 🍤☁️🦢
— super bitchy reader
a/n ; i love bullying sal <33
Tumblr media
- being a massive bitch to sally isn’t something that he was supposed to like, but he does, and it freaks everyone out
- he used to be snarky and insult you back but after a few days he completely stopped and just let you have your way with him without much of a fight
- you love to make fun of him, he’s just so pathetic, your favorite activity is tugging on his pigtails while sitting behind him in class and then quickly looking away like nothing happened
- you and your friends snicker but little did you know, the blush under sally’s prosthetic mask intensified as he found himself liking it a little too much
- his best friend, recently step brother larry, obviously noticed sally’s jittery behaviour and at first he thought it was because he was scared of you, but thanks to some detective work with ashley it was clear that he just liked you
- they tried their absolute best to talk him out of it,
“dude, did you hit your head? you like her? she’s a massive piece of shit!”
“right! she torments you every day! are you sure you’re feeling okay sally?”
sally didn’t exactly deny what larry and ashley told him, instead opting to just silently nodding whilst drowning out their voices and day dreaming. yes, you were awful and rough with him, but he loved it
- larry would try and guide sal away from you whenever he saw you in the hallways, but after a long while, he gave up and let sally be drawn to you like a moth to a flame, he didn’t like it, but he couldn’t stop sally from doing what he wanted
- and so, your torment continued without sally’s friends in the way
————
The halls were completely empty as the bells rang and class has commenced. Sally, despite his not so best efforts, found himself stuck between your arms and his back facing the lockers behind him. He didn’t bother to move or run away,
“Hey dumbass, what’s up with you? You look more repulsive than usual,” You asked, leaning in slightly. He looks around nervously, his glass eye lagging behind his real one as he stutters.
“Huh? What’d you say? Speak up!”
He flinched, his blush hardening under his prosthetic face and reaching his ears. He looked up at you, a little nervously but a hint of excitement present in his blue eye.
“Jesus…” You caress his red ear, “You into this or something?”
He looked at you and swiftly looked back at the floor again, you followed and looked down.
“…Fucking perv.”

Sir Steve, Knight Protectorate Part 3
Here we are at the last chapter. Thank you for everyone who liked, commented and reblogged, especially those that left lovely comments in their tags.
This isn't the last we'll see of this universe, as the next one I want to do is Christmas. Steve talking to Jonathan about the camera and not just saying it was joint present from him and Nancy.
In this we have some people who just never learn, Eddie getting heart-eyes non-stop now, and the basketball game of the century.
Part 1 Part 2
~
Larry Wiggins learned nothing from getting decked in the face by Eddie Munson, Steve decided. He had been the worst of the “accidental” bullies.
If there was a massive collusion of some poor bastards, you could make a pretty safe bet that Larry was seen leaving the area. The teachers turned a blind eye to it because and he quotes, “You have no proof he’s doing anything wrong, besides as captain of the basketball team, he’s afforded a little grace because he’s under soooo much pressure.”
Steve was pretty sure he threw up a little in his mouth when he heard that from the principal, the vice principal, the basketball coach, and at least three other teachers despite him doing it right in front of them multiple times.
So just before the winter break it all came to a head and if Steve was honest, he wasn’t surprised when he saw the victim was one of Eddie’s own sheep.
Steve had really needed to pee in history class. It was horrible, but Mrs. Click adored him and let him go to the bathroom, then immediately turned around and told a girl that is she wasn’t on the rag, she had no need to use the bathroom until after class.
He felt bad about that one, because unlike students, Steve couldn’t do jack shit about the teachers. Not without losing whatever status he actually had.
He pushed open the doors to the boys’ bathroom and instantly sagged against the doorway. There cowering in the corner was one of Eddie’s freaks. He had curly brown hair and blue eyes, though one was shut from a reddening welt that no doubt would turn into a black eye later.
Then the bell rang and students came flooding out of their classes, just in time to see Steve dragging Larry out of the bathroom and throwing him against the lockers across from the bathroom.
Before anyone could protest Steve’s over-reaction, the little freshman came limping out of the bathroom.
“Gareth!” Eddie called out and Steve was distracted for a moment by the sound, let Larry out of his grasp.
But instead of taking off like what would have been the smart thing, Larry pushed Steve off of him.
“You would take the side of the little pervert, Harrington,” he sneered. “I caught this little freak checking under the bathroom stalls. No doubt he’s a fag looking for dick to ogle.”
Gareth opened his mouth to protest, but Steve held up his hand.
“Or, he could be,” Steve scoffed, “and get this, looking to make sure no one was in the stalls so he go into the one he wanted? Like a normal person?”
Eddie and Gareth both snorted at the ‘normal’ description, but wisely kept their mouths shut.
Larry rolled his eyes and folded his arms over his chest. “You think you’re so hot, don’t you? You’re not even a senior but everyone around here walks around here kissing your ass and why? Because Daddy’s money. If you were as poor as these chucklefucks, the only kiss you’d be getting is mouth to mouth when someone finally put you down like the dog you are!”
Gareth threw back his head and laughed. Just started laughing and laughing, doubling over from the laughter, tears streaming down his face.
Larry raised an eyebrow. “What the fuck is his problem?”
“His dad owns three of this town’s car dealerships, dude,” Steve said raising both eyebrows. “Like he lives in Loch Nora.”
Larry’s eyes go wide. “What the fuck? Then why is he dressed like trailer trash?”
“Hey!” Eddie growled and moved to take a swing at the guy, but again Steve held up his hand.
“Dude is in designer jeans and high tops and you have to ask that?” he shook his head. “You really are stupid. How did you become captain of the basketball team again?”
Steve tapped his lip for a moment, his other hand on his hip. Then he snapped his fingers. “Oh, that’s right, you mom blew the coach!”
Larry lunged forward to take a swing at Steve but Tommy and one of the other guys on the team managed to pull him back.
“You want to put your money where your mouth is punk?!” Larry shouted, trying to get out of his restraints.
Steve looked him up and down. “You’re on. One on one in the outdoor basketball court. First one to twenty points wins. We need an unbiased ref...” he looked around until he found a black sophomore standing off the side. “You, you tried out for JV this year, right?”
The kid pointed to himself and looked around but Steve nodded. “Yeah, I mean, I didn’t make it, but yeah I play.”
Steve turned to Larry. “That okay with you?”
Larry nodded. “If I win, you quit the team and stop this fucking crusade you’re on.”
The crowd oohed and ahhed.
“And if I win,” Steve said with a knowing smirk, “you step down as captain and make me captain instead. And if you lay a single finger on anyone again, and you know what I mean, I’ll be sure to spill every dirty secret you ever uttered in the locker room. Don’t think that I won’t.”
Larry gulped heavily. The sound loud in the now dead silent hallway.
Steve stuck out his hand and Larry eyed it for a moment. He looked up into Steve’s steely gaze, then at the gathered crowd. He shook the offered hand and pumped it once.
“Saturday 10am,” Steve said with a grin. Larry nodded and Steve walked over to the kid who was going to be their ref and slung an arm around his shoulder. “Hey, kid, what’s your name?”
“Patrick,” the kid mumbled shyly.
“Well, Patrick,” he said, leading him away from the crowd, “the team will be down one player regardless of what happens, you should try out again.”
Everyone is left staring in shock as the two boys walk away talking about basketball.
Nancy, who had been watching the whole thing turned to Tina, “So that was hot, right?”
Tina just nodded, her mouth open and her eyes wide. She fanned herself with her hand and shook her head. “Girl, you fucked up when you let that one get away.”
Nancy bit her lip, but privately agreed. It had been a month, and Jonathan still wasn’t biting. Perhaps...
Perhaps she might have another, tastier option.
~
The bullying full on stopped as the whole school held their breath. Even the teacher had noticed the whispering in the hall, but time and time again, students would refuse to say why. The nerds sided with Eddie and his club, the popular kids sided with Steve, and everyone one else but the bullies wanted to keep out of it.
When the teachers finally reached out to the kids who were doing the bullying, therefore proving to the whole school the teachers knew, but didn’t care, the bullies had been forced into silence or admit to the bullying.
The morning dawn bright and clear. The frost clung to the windows of the school and a couple of the basketball teammates arrived at nine to shovel the outdoor court as it had snowed the night before.
Steve showed up with longjohns under his shorts and a sweat shirt with the team logo on the front. He stood there, basketball propped on his hip as he waited for Larry to arrive. He was wearing sweats and a t-shirt, headband over his eyes.
10:01am.
Patrick came running up the court waving a whistle. “Sorry I’m late! I couldn’t find my whistle and had to go to the store to get another one.”
Larry grumbled, but Steve just threw Patrick the ball.
Larry and Steve stepped up to the middle line and Patrick stood between them with the ball. The two players shook hands and then Patrick threw it in the air.
Larry got the ball first, but in the end didn’t even matter.
Steve was far and away the better player. Whether Larry’s mom had done favors for the coach to make him captain was irrelevant. Because it soon became clear that he had only gotten the post due to some kind of favoritism.
Steve outmatched him on defense and was the better shot, making more of his shots than he missed.
Larry started panting halfway through as Steve outmatched in a different and just as vital way. Stamina.
Kids from all the cliques were pressed against the fence. Nancy in the front, cheering loudly for Steve along side all of his friends.
Tommy H. was shouting obscenities and Carol was calling Larry names.
But there was the silent section who had come out to watch. The one whose very lives depended on the outcome of the game.
You could call it hyperbole, but Eddie didn’t. It was apt. In those few scant weeks of not having his friends bullied, his grades actually fucking went up. Because he could concentrate on homework, instead of if tomorrow was going to be the day one of the bullies went too far and he lost one of sheep.
He still called out the bullying when he saw it, but now knowing that there were other people watching his sheep too? He could actually rest.
And if that was happening to him? He couldn’t dare to image what it was like for the kids who were being actively bullied. That first breath of relief knowing it wasn’t just a one time thing. That it was going to keep happening. That they were going to be able to just function. Must have felt like a god damned miracle.
Steve moved past Larry and slamdunked his final two points making it to twenty.
Larry sank to his knees as Patrick ran out on the court. “With a score of twenty to fourteen, Steve Harrington wins!”
He raised Steve’s hand over his head like a prize fighter. The gathered crowd roared to life, even those who had been watching silently at the other end of the court. The ones who didn’t understand what a layup was or how fouling worked. They began cheering too.
Steve walked over to Larry and got down on one knee, draping his arm over the other knee. “Some people are bullies because their home life is shit, some people are bullies because they don’t know how to be anything else. And some people just like you who are just fucking assholes who like make others miserable. Get the fuck off my court.”
He stood back up and waved at the crowd.
~
Steve managed to find an unlocked door and slipped into the locker room for a well earned shower. He still would have to put his gross clothes back on but at least he wouldn’t be dripping in sweat.
He heard the door open and close but decided to ignore it. Whether it was a well wisher or one of Larry’s ilk, he didn’t give a shit. He just wanted to be clean.
“Steve?” a warm and very welcome voice echoed through the empty chamber.
“Eddie?” he called back, poking his head out the shower stall to see him.
Eddie grinned. “There you are, big boy.”
Steve was grateful for the steam already painting his cheeks red so that Eddie wouldn’t see him blush.
“Hey,” he muttered softly.
Eddie came bounding up to him with a big grin on his face. “I went home and brought my PE clothes for ya so you didn’t have to put that sweaty shit back on.” He held up his bag. “We’re about the same size in everything but thighs, so this should get you home at the very least.”
“Oh you’re a lifesaver!” he breathed. “You didn’t have to do that.”
“I know, I wanted to.”
Steve pointed down at his sudsy body. “Just let me finish washing down and I’ll be with you in a moment.”
A few minutes later he shut off the water and called out, “Hey can you grab me a towel?”
“I could...” Eddie teased, “but then I’d miss the show of you waddling naked to grab one yourself.”
Steve’s eyebrows went up. “I wasn’t sure you’d be interested, after all the ball was in your court after your impromptu marriage proposal.”
Eddie licked his lips slowly and stalked over the low wall that separated the showers from the rest of the locker room. He looked Steve up and down, noting the high blush on his cheeks that had nothing to due with the heat. Or at least not the heat of the shower. Steve pushed his hair back and looked Eddie right in the eye.
Eddie smiled and reached out with one finger to trace a water droplet that had slid off of Steve’s collar bone to run for his belly button. Steve’s breath hitched as Eddie licked the water off his finger.
“I’m more than interested,” he murmured, leaning in close. “Just wasn’t sure if the offer was made in jest or if you were serious.”
Steve closed his eyes and let out a slow breath. Then he opened them slowly to see Eddie with his eyes wide and expression hopeful. Steve leaned in and pressed his lips to the other boy’s. It was soft and it was sweet.
Eddie leaned back, blinking. “So yeah, definitely serious then. So how about this, sweetheart, why don’t you get dressed in the things I brought you and you go home and get changed. Then I pick you up around, say... five for dinner at the diner?”
Steve’s face transformed with his smile. “I’d say that sounds like a date.” He kissed him again. Just as soft and just as sweet as the one before.
“I’m going to get cavities if you keep that up,” Eddie teased, walking away.
“Where are you going?” Steve asked tilting his head in confusion.
Eddie came back to locker room. “Getting you a towel, obviously. As much as I wouldn’t mind a sneaky peek, I think I’d rather wait to see you naked, spread out underneath me.”
Steve’s jaw worked up and down but no words came out.
“Catch you later, big boy!” Eddie called out over his shoulder after handing the towel to him.
As he was leaving he bumped into Nancy.
“Oh sorry,” he muttered. “I didn’t see you there.”
Nancy chewed on her bottom lip. “Is Steve in there? I couldn’t find him after the game.”
“Yep!” he replied popping the P. “I brought him some clothes he could change into.”
Her eyes went wide. “Oh!”
“Catch you around, Wheeler,” Eddie said giving her a salute.
As the door swung shut, she could see Steve in there happily singing a love song as he got dressed.
Nancy looked back at Eddie’s retreating form and then back at the now closed door. She sighed. She had a feeling that she was too late in getting Steve back.
He had moved on.
She blushed and ducked her head. Maybe it was a good thing. She needed to work on herself and Steve needed someone who was with him because they wanted to be and not just because he was the current available option.
By the time Steve came back out, she was gone.

-...he just couldn't keep staring as you slowly walked away, your hair swaying perfectly with each and every step, did you really just say that to him? it couldn't be, right? he must be dreaming
"sal, dude.. Sal! cmon bro we're gonna be late again, lets go" Larry said slightly annoyed, not having quite witnessed what just happened a few seconds ago.
Sal, having finally just snapped out of the trance you put him in, turned back around to face him and then coming at him with a little sarcastic
"pfft as if you care, weren't you the one that skipped first period today?"
"yeah yeah, lets just go now"
-needless to say you had that boy Star Struck (hihi see what I did there ^_−☆)
-even in the afternoon when the group hung out together, he just couldn't get his mind off of you and that stupid thing you said. Yet he was too nervous to tell his friends, knowing they were opposed to the idea of him liking.
-his friends, of course noticed his behavior, but decided to not comment on it thinking it was probably just him getting into his own head again.
.............................................................………………………
-at night, when everyone was fast asleep, he still caught himself thinking about you. you. you. you. and bless his poor soul, he just couldn't stop.
-with his mask off and his face in his pillow curling up in his bed, the duvet softly covering his body and hair falling freely, he couldn't help but wonder about your reaction to him without the mask. his face, his scarred broken then patched together again face, as he not so much liked to think about it.
-and god you were right, he's just so pathetic: laying in his bed thinking of you while a tear slowly makes its way down the less scarred side of his face. you and your friends make fun of him every day and yet he still feels so deeply connected to you, wanting you to hold him, to love him.
-once he does fall asleep, you even manage to follow him in his dreams: laying side by side together on his bed, with your arms around him and his head on your chest, he didn't have that uncomfortable border between the two of you, just his bare face touching the soft fabric of your shirt. your soft voice in his ears "you know Sal, for me you are truly the prettiest thing" it was like heaven...
-friday, the ninth of august, 06:45. is what the alarm clock read as he softly stirred awake despite not wanting to wake up from his dream. finally after so many nights of restless sleep, he had an actually dream, not one of those nightmares people would also only describe as dreams.
...................................................................…………………
-between periods, as Sal and Ash were making their way to art class, one of the few classes they share, they hear slight laughter and rambling behind them, knowing who it is by the obvious smell of perfume you always use. god it made him crazy.
-his thoughts were quickly disrupted by an obnoxious voice
"hey, you. yeah I'm talking to you blue hair and pigtails, you enjoy being a walking joke?" one of your friends snared.
"no wonder you only hang out with other weirdos, how about you all go back to the freak show your supposed to run?" another one joked making you laugh harder than you should have.
"oh yeah, you'd be the main attraction" you cockily say as you walk past him still smiling.
"fuckin' weirdos" the first one say as she purposefully bumps into Ashley while walking by.
-gosh why did you have to be so mean... and beautiful at the same time
....................................................................…………………
-its not that you hated Sal.. you didn't even dislike him. its just that... he's just so fun to mess with, I mean cmon he's the perfect target, mask and everything. you still weren't quite fond of his friends tho, but they were also okay.
-you did feel bad sometimes after saying something to him, even if he wouldn't react, your first thought with him was always 'did I take it to far now?' which was weird since you've never thought that when you'd do the same things with other people.
-but the sight you were going to witness in a few minutes was unbelievable to you..
..................................................................……………………
-this was truly the worst thing that could happen to him, he was defenseless. so vulnerable, so miserable, so pathetic.
-two of your male 'friends' had caught him alone in one of the storage rooms of the art classroom and decided they wanted to find out what lies under that mask of his.
-with one of them trying to take his prosthetic off and the other holding his hands so he couldn't defend himself even if he tried, he was done for... or so he thought.
-the creek of the door halted their movement only to reveal you, looking as beautiful as ever yet you had a bewildered looking on your face from seeing the scene in front of you.
"what the fuck do you think you're doing?" you say as you look the one wanting to take his mask in the eyes.
"oh cmon, we were just having some fun here, no need to ruin it" the other one spits.
"this is what you call fun? that's pretty sad if you ask me, I mean I get the verbal stuff but don't you think this is a bit too much?" you snap back.
"why the fuck are you defending him right now? he's fucking pathetic look at him" "and...? you know what I think, I think you're being just as if not more pathetic than he is right now, you are nothing (friends names), without me most people in this school probably wouldn't know you so shut it. and don't you dare tell anyone what happened here" you snarl.
"oh and what if we do tell, what are you gonna do, huh? tell your mommy? or the principal?" your other friend says in a fake whiny tone.
"I know what you did to that girl, you know she really did love you so much (friend name 1) it would be a shame if everyone knew that you're a lying cheating skank and not that you guys just broke up normally and oh (friend name 2) I didn't know you had room to talk when literally all you do is hook up with Mrs. Miller every Friday, do you wanna get kicked out of school, I don't think so. and trust me, once I confirm the rumors its over for you"
“You’re no fun” one of them says as they leave.
- silence. pure silence and you decide to break it.
“You okay?” You ask in a genuine tone. He takes a moment to reply speaking with a stutter “yeah, all good”
“Don’t worry I didn’t see anything” referring to his face, you cross your arms and lean against the door frame, he looks down at the ground in shame, his hands slightly shaking.
"do I make you nervous Sal?" you ask teasingly and after that you chuckle slightly as he's frozen in place "its okay, I get it"
a few moments pass when he finally has the courage to look at you again, god why was he like this when he was around you. "you owe me, big time" "yeah" he finally answers "what do you need?" he asks in a slightly nervous voice, he cannot talk to girls for the life of him (look at his first encounter with Ash in the game (=´∀`))
you start to think, what do you need..? he then speaks again "I'll get you anything you want" nervousness still ringing in his voice "woah, don't get to ahead of yourself weirdo" you tease.
as you slowly leave the room you say "I'll think of something, sweetheart" you send him a quick smile while leaving and not to forget that wink you shot him once before.
-meanwhile he thinks he’s died because of that nickname, but don’t worry your smile brought him back to life, you just really know how to make his heart flutter. ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡
..................................................................……………………
a/n : I hope you guys enjoyed(≧∀) if you have any wishes feel free to send me requests!! (P.s I love bullying Sal hihi)

Hey, idk if you’re still active but if you are could you do Larry HC please!
𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮 ; 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐱 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫
>>>>> heyyy chat so contrary to popular belief i am indeed alive (but barely) and upon remembering i do have a page and multiple people who would like to hear from me i decided to drop a lil single iykwim 🔥. no but on a srs note im sorry for disappearing and I hope u enjoy! thank you for requesting, lovely <3
is the modern day Bob Ross
has so many pairs of jeans with paint and pen marks all over them
regularly walks around with a blunt tucked behind his ear
is actually the sweetest dude ever
is way smarter than you’d think he is
regularly asks to paint you, only to end up painting something completely different
walks you to your classes at school (on accident. you always end up crossing paths and then he starts yapping and forgets you two dont have the same classes and proceeds to have to sprint to make it to his own class on time)
yall first met through the elevator. you were waiting for it, and the doors opened, and he was inside with earbuds in very aggressively playing an air-guitar solo. stood up straight the second he realized you were there and then refused to speak or look at you for the elevator ride. was so embarrassed he wanted to cry. he told Sally about it. Sally laughed at him so hard he started coughing.
you started seeing him around more often after that, and you two became friends
your name in his phone is “Blink” because when you first met all you did was stare at him then blink very slowly.
his name in your phone is “Master of Puppets”. i will not be elaborating
you spend a lot of time in his apartment
his mom has stopped asking if you’ll be over, just asks when so she knows if she needs to make extra supper.
he steals YOUR clothes. if you accidentally leave a tshirt at his place you’ll never see it again
stares unblinkingly at you sometimes. it freaks you out.
“larry. im about to poke you in the eye.”
“oh, my bad dude.”
you two have a best-friends-that-get-asked-if-they’re-dating-constantly-and-say-no-but-would-also-marry-each-other kind of friendship
is a rememberer. remembers every little thing you tell him. you like apples? there will be apples at his place next time for you. you dont like being cold? he turns his ceiling fan off when you come around.
is very attentive, but nobody would ever know because he never comments on what he sees.
you signed him up for Homecoming King elections one year. he did NOT find it as funny as you did.
he won.
the popular kids were pissed.
he was pissed.
you laughed your ass off.
has LED’s in his room. they’re always blue or red.
paints his nails
tried to pierce his own ears once. it didn’t work. he showed up at your door with a stud earrings poking through his earlobe and blood running down his neck.
“larry what the freak did you do.”
“earrings :(“
likes to cuddle once he gets more comfortable with you
if you two are sitting on the couch together, his arm is permanently over the back of it and by default around you in a way
manspreads like no other. its so annoying.
actually is a gentleman and very considerate
doesn’t ever flirt with you too hard or initiate physical touch, lets you do it to avoid making you uncomfortable
is playful
“larry, you’re standing too close.” “scared you’re gonna fall in love?” “you wish.”
once you two are very comfortable around each other he’ll come up behind you and rest his chin on your shoulder or on top of your head and slink his arms around your waist real lazily.
“whatcha doin?” “minding my business.”
at first, if you stayed the night, he’d sleep on the floor despite your protests and let you sleep in his bed.
now you two share his bed, and occasionally wake up with your legs tangled together.
loves being little spoon even though he would never tell anybody but you that fact.
bagel bite enthusiast.
larry chucked a sweater at you as you sat on his bed, poised and rigid, trying to be a good model for his still-life portrait of you. “what’s this for?” you asked. although majority of his body was hidden behind the canvas, you could see the slight movements of his arms and shoulders as he moved the paint brush across the scene. “you’re shivering.” he stated shortly, clearly in focus mode. although you didn’t know how he could manage to focus so diligently with Sanity Falls blaring from his record player and filling every crevice of the room.
“sorry.” you said, quickly tugging the sweater on then re-assuming your previous pose. you didn’t know why you agreed to model for him every time he asked. zero out of ten times has the portrait ever actually turned out to be a portrait of you. once, he literally made you pose for an hour just to end up painting a picture of himself riding a unicorn. you were pretty sure he had smoked a little more than his body weight could handle that day. his brown eyes peeked from over the canvas every so often, observing you, which you didn’t mind. larry had probably seen more of your body than you cared to admit, or realize, considering you two felt more than comfortable changing in front of each other and sleeping with just tshirts and underwear on in the same room.
it felt like hours had passed before you saw larry rise from his seat on the stool, his knees and elbows popping loudly as he stretched. “alright. the genius has concluded his work.” he smirked, glancing at you through his lashes. “larry, i don’t even think you know how to spell concluded.” you teased as you followed his lead, standing and stretching and groaning as your muscles began to loosen again.
“so, what creature did you paint this time?” you walked towards him but he grabbed the canvas and held it close to him, squinting his eyes at you. “uhm, you can’t see it.” he said sassily. “uhm, ‘i cant see it’ my left nut! i just sat and posed for two hours dude, let me see!” you advanced on him and reached your hand out to grab the canvas but he ducked away, extending an arm out to keep you at a distance. “okay! fine, but you have to stand there,” he pointed to a spot a few steps away, “and close your eyes.”
you pursed your lips and rolled your eyes, putting your hands on your hips as you dramatically took a few steps back and closed your eyes. “gosh, how atrocious could it be if i need to close my eyes first?” you said. usually, he’d chuckle or laugh, but he didn’t this time. you heard some rustling and then a beat of silence before he said, “okay, open them.”
you opened your eyes and your hands immediately flung to your mouth, covering it as your eyes widened. in front of you was larry, in all his messy-haired, paint-splattered-jean, muscle tank top glory holding a painting of you. a hyper-realism painting of you. he managed to fit *every* detail into it, capturing every dip and curve and mark on your face. the painting only went from your shoulders and up, but that alone had you on the verge of tears.
“larry..” you mumbled, taking a step forward to examine it closer. he even managed to note the small freckles you had, so small that you forgot you even had them sometimes. “do you like it?” he asked quietly, his demeanor starting to change from nervous to insecure. “yes!” you said quickly. “yes, yes i love it! it’s beautiful.” you said. you stepped forward and took the painting gently from his hands and placed it on the easel before launching your arms around his nape, falling into an easy hug as he wrapped his arms loosely around your waist and rested his cheek on top of your head.
“thank you.” you said quietly, resting your head on his shoulder. “you’re welcome.” you two stood like that for a bit, neither of you ready nor feeling the need to break the hug, when you felt him mumbling against your hair. “huh?” you said. he lifted his chin and repeated, “c-o-n-c-l-u-d-e-d. concluded.”
one, two, three beats of silence before you were giggling and slapping his shoulder, looking up at his smug and smiling face. “oh whatever! you probably googled that. that’s why you told me to close my eyes.” “oh you wish! don’t be bitter cause im smarter than you.” “you could only dream of being smarter than me.” you smiled, shaking your head with laughter. your laughter turned into a lazy grin as you rocked your bodies side to side, looking at his face. “seriously, thank you.” “no problem.” he said. you turned your head away from him to glance behind you at the painting. it wasn’t until then that you noticed a very small, very enthusiastic stick-figure rendition of larry in the corner of the canvas holding up a flower. you decided you wouldn’t tell him you noticed as you smiled again, wondering how you managed to make a friend like him.

college! artrick. patrick sneaks up on art in the showers after a practice. convo is posed as being casual but pat being a horny freak (and art knows this), he’s doing too much! imagine same dynamics as the sauna scene but in the showers and both their dicks are actually out…pat shamelessly looks at art’s while art (tries and fails) not to look at his🫣pat eventually backs him to the shower wall, they hear the voices of other tennis players outside about to come in…but not before pat makes art cum! he places his arms besides art’s, locking him in. art makes a (very) weak effort to push him off like “wyd hahaha we’re not gay we’re best friends hahaha this is weird haha” and pat, instead of expressing his repressed romantic love, just tells him as casually as he can pretend, how much he’s wanted to touch him. how pretty his dick looks in the water and that he’d like to taste it (no bj but maybe he does dip down briefly and suck the water off the tip🤭)…and art is bright red and breathing heavy and lowkey whimpering and when art is like “dude wtf” pat is like “don’t act like you don’t want me” bc he KNOWS and immediately after he kisses him violently (like in the hotel scene) and presses his hard cock against arts. they rub them together aggressively as they make out against the wall and hope they don’t get caught as the shower is open in the direction of the door👀👀so everyone would see! they gotta hurry! and pat is groaning lightly into art’s mouth while art is failing to suppress his whines, and sooner rather than later they cum all over each other with just enough time to rinse themselves off and go to opposite ends of the shower before the other players noticed. they all filed into the locker room not suspecting a thing. much to the disappointment of pat, who low-key wanted them to be caught so they can stop hiding…. OMGGG so many horny thots
THEY RUB THEM TOGETHER GIRLLLLL 😫😫😫 The things I'd do to be a fly on the wall and watch this happen. These two are my new Larry Stylinson, I think about them doing the dirty more than I think about my own happiness and education.

inspired by the obnoxious anon haunting majorbaby lol:
In the past I’ve said I could see BJ as either gay or bi, which is technically true, but I don’t actually headcanon him as bi because BJ’s sexuality is only interesting to me if he’s gay. like, imo it’s the only sexual orientation that intersects with his characterization in a meaningful or worthwhile way.
BJ’s character is ‘archetypal poster boy for the 50s,’ and BJ’s story is about being obsessed with his wife as a coping mechanism, because he needs an image of an idyllic future to focus on while he’s in Korea. The cracks in BJ’s veneer begin to show when he reveals resentment over conforming to expectations (Wheelers and Dealers), when he reveals repressed rage which is explicitly tied to his fear of losing/not being good enough for his roles (hence the heavyhanded ‘replacements’ theme in Period of Adjustment), when he reveals insecurity over Peg needing him (several episodes where he freaks out about her being too independent or potentially cheating), and, when it comes to relevant flaws, when he straight up tells someone else he’d have an affair with her if it wasn’t for the fact that he needs his coping mechanism during his stay in a war zone (”I can’t go from hello to I love you because of the damn war!”)
You can argue for different interpretations of several of these moments individually if you want, but together, whether intentionally or not, they add up to a pretty consistent picture of a guy enamoured not with Peg and Erin specifically, but with being a perfect guy with a wife and child he supports.
So if he’s straight then he goes home and either stays married and lives happily ever after, which is both boring and thematically incorrect if we tie all these moments together as a coherent characterization rather than dismissing them as random disparate dramatic episodes a badly written character careens between, or he goes home and his marriage crashes and burns and he becomes serial remarriage guy, as Larry Gelbart has tongue-in-cheekly suggested, which is thematically correct but also boring.
If he’s bi see above. Maybe he explores his sexuality too, maybe he hooks up with Hawkeye, but it doesn’t add anything to his character. He’s attracted to women, he’s theoretically able to live happily ever after with one, he’s got nothing but his issues as a conformer in the 50s standing in his way of happy hetero ever after. He can still achieve his thematically appropriate divorce ending, but his sexuality doesn’t figure in one way or another, it’s incidental.
If he’s gay then it adds something. It enriches his role as 50s family guy poster boy by making it a fundamentally false image that he could never fit into, as well as adding a dimension to why he’s so desperate to cling to that image. It fits in neatly with his repression and resentment of being the great guy everyone likes (Wheelers and Dealers again), and even plays off the implication that he’s been dealing with negative feelings most of his life, which we can assume based on the way he describes his pranks as taking his feelings out on other people, and the fact that he was a hardcore practical joker pre-war too.
It even fits the satirical sensibility of the show when he was first introduced. To take BJ at face value in season 4 as Trapper’s replacement just straight up doesn’t work for me, and if we were meant to take him at face value then it’s a major misstep imo. The show consistently subverted its archetypal 50s characters. Norman Rockwell kid in Love and Marriage turned out to be a sex trafficker, Frank and Margaret are both giant judgmental hypocrites, everyone loves having sex and cheating. The satire was largely focused on the military, but it utilized the fact that it’s a period piece to make fun of the idealized, propagandic 50s image a lot. If BJ, who’s practically a 50s car ad come to life, was meant to be a straightforward picture-perfect dude thrown into a tragic situation, then the show really dropped the satirical ball by implying that an archetype like BJ genuinely is rightfully aspirational.
Which, yk, it very well might’ve, but if so then I’m gonna add some context in my own headcanons that makes his character fit the satire better, in addition to being more interesting, fun, and thematically appropriate.

fanfic idea loosely inspired by the importance of being earnest:
sally and r are using the name ‘jacquelyn scieszka’ as an alias.
sally came up with the name first. sally uses the name whenever traveling outside the city, like in tedia or ophelia or other neighboring place, so people don’t trace anything jacquelyn did with sally herself.
gustav knows of this, and thinks it’s silly because sally doesn’t do anything that could have her needing a fake name.
sally as jacquelyn scieszka ends up befriending a non-vfd. calling this dude john, though he likes to go by jack.
sally and jack eventually start dating. jack btw talks a lot and fondly about a dear friend of his. sally knows jack is bi (sally is bi also btw that’s what i headcanon her), but she has a growing theory jack is in love with his friend, but it’s in denial due to the fact said friend is straight.
r eventually discovers sally’s fake name of jacquelyn scieszka, and instead of confronting sally over it, decides to use it herself, in places in the city and land of districts where most people won’t associate the heir apparent of the duchy of winnipeg to be in.
r as jacquelyn scieszka befriends a non-vfd person. calling this dude algernon, but he goes by eli.
eli is in the closet and to keep up appearances, needs a girlfriend. r does it out of solidarity and sympathy. eli is grateful for r, jacquelyn, for helping out and tells her one day, he’ll help her in return.
larry learns of this, for larry had to serve r as jacquelyn scieszka and eli at a non-vfd restaurant. pretty awkward tbh.
eventually, gustav and larry discover together one day while having a nice brunch together a. both sally and r are using the same name of jacquelyn scieszka, b. that jack and eli are friends, and c. jack and eli discover they know and are dating jacquelyn scieszka.
the realization of the jack-eli-jacquelyn scieszka mess has gustav and larry zooming out of the restaurant and their brunch to tell sally and r -who are together today in the city headquarter- about the overheard conversation.
needless to say, sally and r are freaking out. sally at one point does changes tunes, getting upset how r stole her fake name. r redirects the conversation to what is actually at hand.
their solution? they must kill/bury jacquelyn scieszka.
eventually before the group kills off/bury jacquelyn scieszka (they bought a coffin to make it all more realistic), jack and eli found the group on the road to swarthy swamp. jack and eli are shock to learn that jacquelyn scieszka is really two people sharing a fake name.
eli on the trip with jack grows enough confidence to comes out as gay to jack, as well as confessing his love right upon confronting sally and r (and gustav and larry, who are in the background going ‘wtf man you’re confessing it here just as we’re about to dig?’).
jack on the trip with eli learns that yes, he’s in love with a dear friend of his, and after hearing eli’s confession, pronounces his love also (gustav and larry are still going ‘wtf’ in the background).
sally and r react the same way: happy and shouting congratulations for these two for sorting out their feelings (r especially so because of that solidarity and sympathy) and the two couples break up.
the funeral for jacquelyn scieszka is still held. with jack and eli knowing, they figure they should continue on with the plan. everyone say lovely words of parting about how jacquelyn scieszka brought them all together as friends, and helped two people find love.
then they bury an empty coffin at swarthy swamp, and keep it a secret between themselves.

For the ships thing: Carlando, I'm pretty sure you're not keen on it? And question: Are you a full mando (maxF/lando) girly, or did you prefer them shipped with Luisa in the middle?
You know what I'm not ANTI-CARLANDO I'm anti CARLANDOS. I think Carl and Lando are very sweet friends and they've literally #larryfied them so much that the boundaries are just SOOOO not there. Like why is every comment on socials "post carlando" "where's carlando" like stfu. Larries. It's soooooo PR like every time either of them post each other it's sort of a ha ha wink wink pandering vibe. I like that Lando had a first teammate that was so indulgent and lovely to him it really sets up Dando nicely for me. Also too many Carlando fics just have Lando so ooc like he's some weird friendless unloved freak when Lando out of I think everyone on the grid is one of the most CHERISHED LOVED lil dude by his friends and family. But I do think they're lovely friends!
And I enjoyed LML I would've gone endgame with that bc I also love Luisa so much but Mando is like. Mando is the most inevitable i-would-find-you-in-every-life type of ship so it's hard to beat it!
Send me a ship and I'll give my brutally honest opinion on it

Church Boy-Truthful
TW
I stood up from the floor. "Larry, do you have some paper and something to write with?" I ask. "Yea, right here." He said, pointing to a shoebox next to him. "Thank you." I said, opening it to reveal a few notebooks and some writing utensils.
"No problem, Travis." he said, continuing with his art. I walked back to the spot I was at and sat down once again. I sat the paper on the top of the lid to a container nowhere in sight that was resting on the floor.
"𝐼 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝒾𝓈 𝓌𝓇𝑜𝓃𝑔. 𝐼 𝓀𝓃𝑜𝓌. 𝒢𝑜𝒹, 𝓅𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓈𝑒 𝒻𝑜𝓇𝑔𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝓂𝑒. 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐼 𝒹𝑜𝓃'𝓉 𝓌𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝓉𝑜 𝒷𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝒾𝓈 𝓌𝒶𝓎. 𝐼 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝐼 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹 𝒿𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒷𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇. 𝑀𝒶𝓎𝒷𝑒, 𝒾𝒻 𝐼 𝑒𝓃𝒹 𝒾𝓉, 𝒾𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓁𝓁 𝒷𝑒 𝒷𝑒𝓉𝓉𝑒𝓇. 𝐼 𝒿𝓊𝓈𝓉 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝐼 𝒸𝑜𝓊𝓁𝒹 𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓃𝑔𝑒 𝓂𝓎𝓈𝑒𝓁𝒻. 𝐼 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝐼 𝓌𝒶𝓈𝓃'𝓉 𝒶 𝓈𝒾𝓃𝓃𝑒𝓇. 𝐼 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒶 𝑔𝒾𝓇𝓁. 𝐼 𝓁𝑜𝓋𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝑒𝓎𝑒𝓈 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓁𝒶𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝓋𝑜𝒾𝒸𝑒. 𝒴𝑜𝓊𝓇 𝓈𝓉𝓎𝓁𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝑔𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉, 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝐼 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒻𝑒𝓁𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓈𝒶𝓂𝑒. 𝐼 𝓌𝒾𝓈𝒽 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝓌𝑒𝓇𝑒 𝒶 𝑔𝒾𝓇𝓁..."
I wrote, tears coming to my eyes.
Sal's POV:
I was in my room, lying on my bed and holding the stuffed cat my mother had gotten me when I was younger. It looked like Gizmo. My dad got Gizmo because he looked like an animal, we got him after the accident. He was my favorite little boy. My lil' meatball boy.
I smiled a little, happy I still could after what just went down. I tossed and turned around. Soon after I got comfy, my walkie-talkie beeped, and Larry started talking to me. "Hey, Sal?" he softly called out. "Yea?" I exasperatedly ask. "Travis is being, like, super fucking weird. He's being all quiet and polite. Can you come over?" he asked, a genuine sense of worry in his voice. "Sure, I'll be right up." I assure him, slipping on my shirt.
*Time Skip*
I was in the elevator now when my walkie-talkie went off again. "Dude, he just left." Larry said, panic settling in his voice. "Where'd he go?" I ask, just as concerned. "Outback. Asked me for some paper and something to write with. After he wrote something down, he put it in his pocket and left. What if it's, like, a suicide note or something?" Larry suggested, causing my heart to race and my brow to sweat. "Let's hope not..."
I ran out of the elevator as it opened, the door still sliding slightly. I ran to his room, not bothering to knock or tell anyone why I was there. "Hey, Sal." My dad greeted me from the couch. "Hi, dad!" I yelled back, faking happiness as I panicked harder. I busted into Larry's room to find him already dressed and ready to go. "C'mon!" I yelled, grabbing his wrist and dragging him to the door.
As we exited the building, the sight of bright blonde hair at the top caught me off guard. "Travis, what the fuck are you doing?" I yelled, body beginning to shake but most likely not from the cold. "I'm fucking done." he yelled back, taking a small step forward.
My heart sped up and my intrusive thoughts got the better of me.
Travis' POV:
I was standing at the edge. His bright blue hair caught my attention. "Travis, what the fuck are you doing?!" he yelled. "I'm done." I replied, taking a small step as I recalled every fucking time my father punished me.
Every time I watched my mother bleeding on the floor.
Every time I cut my body up.
Every time I feared coming home.
Every time I begged for my father's approval and love.
Every time I thought of Sal.
Every damn time.
"Leave. I know you don't care. I know it. Stop pretending you do so everyone will look at you like you're a saint. You are the epitome of evil. You are a sinner. A freak!" I yelled, clenching my fists. Sal took a step back and looked at Larry. He said something, I could tell because his mask shifted.
After he turned away from Larry, he faced the treehouse and started bolting towards it. He climbed the steps at an inhuman pace, something I never thought would be possible for a guy his size.
Once he reached me, he tackled me to the ground and pulled me into a hug. "Travis, what the fuck were you thinking?!" he screamed, hugging me tighter.
Sal's POV:
I looked up at the boy, fear in his eyes and anger in his stance. I turned towards Larry and started talking. "I'm going to save his life, even if it costs me mine. I promise." I said, Larry turned to me with fear and guilt in his eyes. "I love you, bro. So much. Be fuckin' careful and don't do anything stupid." he said, looking back toward Travis. He looked down at me with hate. "Leave. I know you don't care. I know it. Stop pretending you do so everyone will look at you like you're a saint. You are the epitome of evil. You are a sinner. A freak!" he yelled.
I took a deep breath and ran as fast as my legs would take me to the treehouse. I climbed up the steps, ravaging my fingers and hands as I did. Once I reached the top, I tackled him to the ground, hugging him and wishing I could hold on forever. "Travis, what the fuck were you thinking?!" I screamed, tightening my grasp.
He looked at me with pure fear. "I don't know..." he said, falling into my arms and letting the tears drip from his deep amber eyes. "Don't you ever fucking scare me like that again..." I whispered, taking in everything I could.
He smelled like vanilla and new book; his eyes were amber, and he had dark bags under them. Small freckles could be seen if you looked hard enough. He looked exhausted. "I was so scared..." he admitted. "Travis, I was too..." I assured. "What...?" he asked, confused and sad. "I tried too. My dad found me and cut the rope. I'm so fucking grateful..." I said, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
Travis stayed silent for a moment, accepting my hug and letting me rub his back as I talked to him. "Trav, why do you hate me?" I asked, trying not to dampen the already cold mood. He said nothing, instead, he sighed and buried his face into my neck. "I don't know..." he truthfully answered. "It's okay..." I assured, using my fingers to massage his spine.
"Travis, we don't have to be enemies, you know that, right?" I ask, cupping his cheek as he stared at me. "I know..." he said, dropping his head onto my shoulder. "Friends?" I ask.
"Friends..."

Chapter 37
- You’re only gonna go to the filming location to play such a cast whose name doesn’t even come out in the movie?! – Dennis laughed; Laura laughed with him while they were sitting in Larry’s living room, all of them loosely plonked themselves down there.
- I get some money for it too, and at least I’ll be able to tell that I played in this good movie, at least in something that I think is interesting – the boy answered seriously, and then guffawed, intentionally indicating that he thought that this situation was funny.
- Only that’s funnier than this that the two of you are like a couple. You two go everywhere together since you two know each other! - Dennis remarked, and then laughed about this too. They had been drinking a bit so they felt good - Although you two freaking conduct like pals: like Laura thought you for a girl and you took her for a boy! - he said funnily.
- Won't we go somewhere? - Larry asked in a bored manner.
- Yeah, let's go for a spin! - Laura agreed.
- These youngsters can't bear to be in one place! - Dennis nattered funnily.
- We've already seen through gaffers' sitting idly in the living room; youngsters' time’s already come! - Larry played jokes on him, too.
- Where to go? - Laura asked excitedly, and got up from the sofa; the others followed her.
By Dennis' car, they had arrived in ten minutes at his and Larry's favorite bar, between the dark brown leather armchairs and bar stools, and dark blue glass tables.
- This place is a sheer guy’s place! Why did we come here?! - Laura whined who was tipsy, and sullenly plopped down to one of the armchairs; Larry and the man loosely settled down next to her. They hadn't been completely sober anymore, anyway, so they were drinking only beer.
- She's right! Chattering is possible at home too! - Dennis complained, too; it hadn't come into his head till then under the influence of alcohol.
- I still love this place! - Larry said cheerfully - And here, it's possible to meet people! Dennis has said that a dude would surely come in handy to you - he said to Laura.
- In the end, I've had nobody for a half year - the girl said in an alluring voice.
Till now, she had had two serious relationships and some inconsiderable ones but she also wanted them to be serious, just they didn’t work out. On the other hand, when she drank, sometimes it was possible to think that she was a real man-eater.
- Then come on little girl! – Dennis got up from the armchair, and also dragged Laura up from there. This time he got pretty mellow.
The girl laughed, partly because of the high spirits from the drinks, and partly exactly because she hadn’t drunk that much so felt the situation was odd.
He dragged her up to a black, medium height boy who was about twenty years old, and Larry was grinning, watching the funny scene.
- Let me introduce Laura! – Dennis said cheerfully and aloud.
- So what? I know neither of you guys – the boy said in a bit of brutish voice, and was only standing, leaning against the counter, next to his glasses and with a cigarette in his hand. He hadn’t been under the influence of drink to anything like this yet.
Still in this moment, a half-breed boy came up to there; seemingly he got much mellower.
- That boor can regret rejecting you - he spoke to the girl.
The black boy took his glasses, and resentfully marched off.
- What would the procurer say to me?! - the half-breed one guffawed.
Larry laughed, too, watching this all.
Laura couldn't even begin to speak.
- Do you know what? Let's let the procurer guy alone! What would you say to me, pussycat? - the half-breed boy grinned.
The girl didn't know what to say. She got too mellow to reject him but didn't get mellow enough to accept him. On the other hand, when she went over him, she realized that not only he wasn't ugly but also, he was expressly her sort of boy, especially in that gray shorts which extended as far as the middle of his thighs and in white T-shirt what by it was striking that his skin wasn't white on the other hand. By it, she felt as much drawn to him as much she felt drawn to completely black boys, if not even more than to them.
By the influence of liking and by the alcohol, she began talking with him, and Dennis left them, grinning, and spoke to Larry to go to play the slot machine with him.
During playing, sometimes they looked at Laura who was giggling with the boy; knowing the girl, they were surprised that she still hadn't shaken him off.
Suddenly, they just saw that the boy kissed Laura hard, and they were passionately kissing and embracing each other, then set towards the way out, and the girl only waved to them.
- We should go after them - Larry said, who suddenly sobered down, and was worrying, and followed them in a hurry; Dennis went after him.
- What's the problem? - the man was puzzled.
- Laura's not the kind of girl who just has sex with a drunk stranger. Later, she's gonna very much regret still letting that dude do to her whatever he wants to do.
Exactly when they would have gotten in the boy's car, they came up with them.
- Go home. This much was enough for one night - Larry said to the boy a bit furiously.
- Who are you??? - the half-breed boy was indignant.
- I'm Laura's friend; and now buzz off. She won't go with you.
- Why would you decide instead of her?! I was already surprised that the white man was also treating her like an object!
- Why, maybe you’re not planning the same thing?!
Dennis was only standing some yards back from them, and he was a bit restlessly waiting for them to go home or somewhere at last.
- If you wanna know, I just wanted to show her another place! And anyway, it's none of your business where she goes and what she does! - the stranger continued.
- Come with us, too! - Laura began to speak impatiently, too, so they would be over this conflict at last.
- OK, let's go - Larry cooled off. He wouldn't have trusted that drunk stranger, but to the girl, he believed it - Dennis, do you wanna come with us?
- To me, this much was enough - since he was in his forties, this much partying was enough for him, too.
- Then we’ll go home.
- Praise to be God! - the half-breed boy said still in a vexed voice, got in the car with Laura, and they left.
- We still should be following them - it came into Larry's head.
Maybe even the girl didn't know where that man was taking her - he thought.
- You want us to go after them? - Dennis asked wearily while they were going to his car.
- If you're this slow, I'll be driving! - the boy hurried towards the car, and jumped in, behind the wheel - Are you coming?
- In the end, it's my car – Dennis grumpily got in beside him.
Larry, like he even forgot his previous almost-accident, meteorically rode after Laura and the stranger.
Dennis was sleepily sitting next to him by the alcohol.
When the boy noticed that the half-breed boy was going towards another bar, he suddenly calmed down.
But then they hadn't stopped.
He was restlessly following them on, through two further streets. Dennis was already sleeping next to him.
When Laura and the stranger had arrived in front of the motel, Larry broke, frightened and fast, got out of the car, and followed them unawares. The half-breed boy allowed the girl to go ahead into one of the motel rooms and said he would be back soon, just forgot buying rubber, and then, when he had turned round, found himself in front of Larry.
- What the hell are you doing here?! – the half-breed one was already really angry.
- Rather what are you two doing here?! You said you only took her partying in another place! – Larry said in a warm blood.
- Why, maybe isn’t this such a place where it’s possible to party?! – the half-breed boy seemed very satisfied with himself.
- I’ll show you if you don’t vamoose immediately! – Larry raged.
- I’ll leave but I’ll be back, and you’re the one who’s better be vamoosing from here by that time!
- Fat chance! – Larry hit him, so powerfully that the other one fell, and began bleeding from the nose.
- Now I'm leaving but I assure you that later, you won’t play the girl’s father with me! – he got up furiously – You stopped this one occasion in vain, she’ll still be mine! – he went into the motel room, to the bathroom, to arrest the bleeding.
In the doorway, Laura appeared, wearing black lingerie.
- What happened?! – she was surprised at noticing that the boy was washing the blood down from himself at the sink. She couldn’t hear anything because was taking a shower when the boys were fighting.
- I was in so much hurrying to you pussycat that I fell! But we’ll supply it later, OK? – he kissed the girl when his hemorrhage had already ceased.
- Poor! – Laura kissed him, too.
The boy was still too much aching all over yet to be able to concentrate on her so they left the motel, and he took her home. Till then, Larry was restlessly waiting in the car to see if he really left Laura alone, and then took Dennis home who had still been sleeping.
Larry was sure Laura wasn't ready for anything with that man anymore when she would be sober, and next day, he calmly went to school, and then to play basketball with some of his cousins, and then calmly went home to be studying.
After he had finished studying off, the girl called him.
- I was so crazy that I got together with a drunk stranger! - she said.
- I knew that you would know better - the boy said.
- You don't understand it! We had to meet, anyway, just not under the influence! Today, when we are sober, we met again, and he's already dead normal, and apologized for being so vulgar last night - after that, the girl's voice suddenly became cheerful - And... We started dating! - she shouted joyously.
- He should know that when he drinks so much, what impression it will produce in him. I think he's not a trustworthy dude at all. It seems such a cuss like him, shouldn't booze so much like that.
- I don't understand what your problem is now. You’ve never drunk so much that your behavior has been changed by it?
- No, I haven't - the boy said seriously, but Laura thought he was only acting, and that was why he could be hiding so well that he wasn't telling the truth.
- Aye! - she laughed.
- It's the same. Tell me about him. What's his name at all? - he pretended that he was only interested in him out of curiosity.
- He's called Chris, he's twenty-two years old, and he's very kind, very loose, he very much can party, is a talented basketball player and looks adorable! - Laura counted enthusiastically.
- Aha; he's surely cool - Larry said, although felt like such things weren't included that he would have thought him a too suitable partner for it.
They were talking about their common friends and about what they were going to do next weekend, and then Larry had dinner, saw a movie, and read a comic.
Next Friday, Larry, Dennis, Laura and Chris went to the cinema together.
- I'm sorry I wasn't conveying too good an impression for the first time. You know that I was dead drunk - Chris said when they were walking out to his car - And we can forget what happened in the corridor of the motel - he said in a lower voice when the two of them had arrived at the car, and Laura and Dennis fell astern - It's better to both of us if we keep it secret. I'm not proud of somebody beating me! - the boy played jokes on him.
- OK - Larry said with inexpressive countenance and in an expressionless voice, and they got in the car.
Before going home, they went to the neighboring McDonald's.
- Do you study or work? - Dennis asked Chris between two bites of hamburger.
- I've already quit school a long time ago. I’ve only been playing basketball since I finished high school. I have a heap of matches. I've had some national matches and two World Cups.
- That's good. Congratulations - Larry said.
- At last I have such a boyfriend who I can look up to! I haven't even said that we've already declared love to each other! - Laura eulogized, nestling to Chris.
- Wow! - Dennis said appreciatively.
- What are you guys gonna be doing tomorrow? - Larry changed the subject. Insomuch as a teenager boy, this much sentimentalism was too much for him.
- Hard party, and then destination: the bed - Chris said loosely, and then pulled Laura to himself and kissed her.
The other end... - Larry thought. He had an idea that they didn't really tone in with each other; like the boy was too hollow and intemperate compared to Laura.
- And you guys? - Chris asked.
- I'm gonna have an appearance, and Dennis is gonna go filming – the other boy answered.
- This reminds me: you two are such hot shot actors, right? Maybe I've even seen you guys in some movie. What have you guys played in?
- In Apocalypse Now, both of us played - Dennis said loosely, too.
This cuss was distasteful only for him? - Larry thought.
- That's a sweet movie! I love watching violence!
Now did he say it sincerely because he was such a man or did he want to annoy him in what movie he had played? - Larry thought - Did he feel the tension between them?
But the others only laughed - It seemed he was only kidding - he thought.
Next day, Larry went to the bar with Bruce, Zac and his new friend Tom Mapother, and their every week was rolling on similarly. Tom is one year younger than him, studied to be an actor and studied in the same school where Larry went to.
Four months later, Laura arrived in Larry's place, crying.
- It's over - she said in a bitter voice as soon as she had stepped in the flat, and took off her yellow coat.
The boy then noticed that there were blue and green bruises on her face, and although he couldn't see it, she was also totaled under her black jumper that had orange flowers on it, and she was also totaled under her bright orange pants.
- You mean you two split? And who beat you? - Larry asked, flabbergasted.
It came into his head then - Surely Chris did it, and this was why they split - he thought.
- Chris... beat me... - the girl was sobbing - He only did it ‘cause I didn't have enough time for him because of studying!
- So what??? And he constantly plays basketball! What's the difference?! - Larry asked indignantly when they sat down on the black leather sofa.
- I don't know. He completely changed... Till now, he was so kind!
- It seems like he can do anything, and you can do nothing - Larry said furiously – He’s surely not even in love with you.
- I don't know anything anymore. It's so good that you're here for me! Without you, I couldn't bear it! - she hugged the boy, and he kissed her. He saw her beautiful, even with blue and green bruises.
- What was this??? - Laura was surprised at it.
- I already know why I cannot bear that sob from the onset. While then it hadn't even shown up this much what chap he is like. And that's not sure that normally, I would have also wanted to defend you against him on the first night - Larry realized suddenly - I realized that I love you, and can't endure any other boy in your life.
- But for me, Chris is the one who I can't live without!
- But you're disappointed in him, aren't you? Don't say that you didn't lose your love for him!
- I don't know... But you and I??? Till now, we've been simply only friends for more than a year, and now you suddenly want more??? - Laura was completely appalled.
- What would you say to that? Do you feel anything for me? - Larry cherished the hope.
- To me, it's too early yet. I just broke up with Chris.
- And what about later? - he looked at the girl appealingly.
- I have no idea. Everybody can see that you're handsome, but there are many handsome boys, I'm not dating all of them. Let's wait until I’m over this shock, and it lightens. Oh my God, talking about that is so bizarre, too! I would have never thought, even in the beginning of our friendship, that anything like that could come into consideration between us! I’ve never wanted more than friendship with you!
- And is it possible that it will still change? – Larry, in his heart of hearts, was cherishing the hope but thought that this would already abort.
- I think it won’t. I’m sorry…
Next day, Larry met with Martin. He was sitting on the sofa, watching the wall like he didn’t even budge away from there since yesterday; they were talking that way.
- What do you think, is there any hope? – he asked. He cherished the hope that Martin, with his thirty-nine years, could give a cleverer and more satisfactory answer compared to what he suspected.
- Maybe there’s a little hope. But there isn’t much hope – the man said.
- But in the end, I just realized suddenly, too, that I’m in love with her. Maybe it works like this in her too, doesn’t it? Maybe she only needs to be over her previous boyfriend…
- Well, I don’t know. I keep my fingers crossed for you, but don’t take that for granted.
- Is the filming going well? – Larry changed the subject. It was too grievous to talk about that unrequited love. As suddenly this love came, it was as serious. Or maybe it slowly grew up, so slowly that he only now realized it.
- Yeah.
The subject was too boring. Both of them knew how practiced and successful actor Martin is but Larry needed to be talking about something that wasn’t connected with Laura.
- I was always preparing for this career, too, like you, so I well prepared for this job – the man continued – I haven’t even told you how poor we were when I was a kid, and that I only had enough money for a bus ticket, but a Catholic priest lent me some money so I could come away to New York to make my dream come true. You can be this successful without a stint, too. Only the color of your skin and your little skill because of your very young age are the reasons why you haven't been that much in request yet; I came from a much lower situation, and in the beginning, I was always rejected because of my Latin name, but after changing my stage-name, you see what I achieved; so don't give up your dreams!
Larry didn't know if he also meant this in connection with Laura so he would fight for her and if it would make sense to fight at all.
- What do you think, what to do? - he asked so it would come out with the answer what he was talking about.
- Only do the same things that you’ve done till now – his friend said  - Do your best, and by the time the world passes over its bull's wool that it scorns blacks and you won't be this much young, your work's gonna be appraised better. And in the case of Laura, don't play a part. It would be in vain if you played a different role from who you are so she would fall in love with you, because she hasn't fallen in love with you for the time being. If you know that she doesn't love you for yourself, after a while, you would feel like you’re not even the one who she’s in love with but only the role you play is what she would love, and you even would be right. If this thing doesn't work out, overstep it. You've also overstepped other girls, you'll also succeed in overstepping this time; any kind of relationship hasn't even been between you besides friendship so there's no even miss at that.
- After Jenny, I really felt the miss; and to the effect that that unclouded spell when we were in love with each other, was over, I also felt miss after Kristen. But this time I feel like it would be easier if we at least had some common past with Laura which I could recollect. More than nothing. On the other hand, I don't know if it will trouble me to see her systematically if we remain friends in the future too. Maybe I'd be better not meeting with her anymore if she doesn't feel anything for me, but maybe I couldn't live without her if we weren't friends either. I don't know in which case I would miss her more.
- First, you need to experience it, no matter how grievous this is. Confer that feeling when you two don't meet, with that one when you two do.  If they are unchanged, try it out if it's better or worse if you two meet more rarely or once after more time.
- Yeah, I know...
The girl initiated their absence from each other, anyway, because she didn't want to whine to him about her break with Chris anymore. Partly, she did it not to hold out to the boy that how close they could have gotten to each other if Larry would have comforted her. Partly, she did it because she didn't want to grieve him by constantly reiterating how much she  missed Chris. Although she also would have reiterated how much disappointed she was in him so she wanted a very different boy in this regard. Just for the time being, she hadn't been in such a state of mind that she would have started a new relationship.
They hadn’t met for weeks, and Larry terribly missed Laura. He even terribly missed to at least see her and talk to her. He still didn’t know if when they would meet, he would feel its inverse.
He was memorizing his lines for a part in a series, sitting at his desk, but was constantly thinking of the girl. He hadn’t seen her for more than three weeks already.
He gave up memorizing, stood up from the chair, took his light gray jumper out of his wardrobe, and pulled it on his dark blue, long-sleeved shirt; walked back to his desk, and called Laura.
- I need to meet with you. I don’t know if I would miss you even more if I saw you more often, and this crazes me, but that also crazes me that nowadays I even miss seeing you – he told her sincerely. He hadn’t even heard her voice for weeks as that, and he missed that too.
- OK. Anyway, I already know what I want in connection with the two of us. When and where to meet?  - Laura came to the point. She preferred talking face-to-face.
- Does it suit you if I go to your place an hour later?
- OK. I’m waiting for you – the girl’s voice was bitter and mature.
Larry went out to the living room in a hurry, put on his shoes and coat, locked the door of the flat, panicking, sprang into his car, and drove towards Laura.
The bright orange house was in the adjoining district. When he had arrived, rang at the white gate, and was happy that Laura was the one who let him in. He already felt like he wouldn’t have been able to wait even seconds until seeing her again.
The snow was beautifully glittering on everything in the garden but in Larry’s own conceit, the girl was even much more beautiful while standing there, in her bright green coat, opening the gate.
In the next moment, the boy already felt terrible because couldn’t hug and kiss her. They only simply said hello to each other, and then went in through the door with painted glass, and then, through the living room that was furnished with brownish orange furniture, they went into Laura’s room.
They uneasily sat down on the girl’s peach colored bed.
- Good to see you again – Larry said shyly.
- I already missed our friendship, too – the girl said but the morale was still gloomy because of Laura’s break up and the boy’s love which seemed unrequited.
- I’m sorry I couldn’t be next to you because of my bull’s wool that suddenly sprang up while you haven’t gotten over your disappointment that Chris caused.
- Anyway, I was afraid that if I would cry my fill in your arms, you would misunderstand something.
- I know but it was still because of me. If I wasn’t in love with you, you wouldn’t have had the reason for it.
- But it’s not your fault. And anyway… I’ll tell you how I decided… Now both of us need each other. You need me because of the love, and I need you as a friendly succor. And to some extent, I feel drawn to you too, because you’re a handsome boy. But I’m telling you in advance that I’m not in love with you, and I think I won’t even be in love with anyone for a good while. So I give this thing a chance, something might be caused by it.
Already this overjoyed Larry; he embraced her tight and kissed her.
They were kissing, embracing each other, and the girl was even surprised that she didn’t offer resistance to this immediate reaction, moreover, she was even enjoying it. Such feelings spouted inside her what she had never felt for Larry. They were passionately fondling each other and kissing long.
- I love you so much! – the boy said after finishing it but he was still fondling the girl’s face, then kissed her again.
- I’m surprised at how much I feel drawn to you – the girl smiled shyly. Till then, she thought she agreed in this relationship mostly out of pity.
- So do you already see more chances of one day, you will feel the way I feel?
- I don’t know! – Laura shouted edgily – Let’s stop talking about it now! I’ve told you that probably it will be long before I will feel that way for someone how I’ve been feeling for Chris!
- Don’t always speak about that boy now! - Larry shouted hotly, too – You only can be in love at most with the memories, since you got to know what he's like! Moreover, maybe you’ve been loving somebody else, you’ve been loving what you imagined him to be!
- You are the one who passes strictures upon me, while I just offered to you that I would date with you in spite of the fact that I’m not in love with you, and I’ve never been able to even imagine us being not only friends! If you don’t wanna this all, then let’s stop it! I can find another handsome boy with whom I also cotton, and now I don’t even need a relationship! I agreed to this mostly for your sake, and to be able to meet with you in the future too!
- So I can’t utter a word when something’s not good in my regard ‘cause otherwise you break with me!
- Well, OK, then let’s stop it now! It seems like as a couple, we don’t cotton at all! I’m afraid that in the end, we fall out so much that we can’t be friends either after a break…
- No. It’s not necessary. I promise I won’t pass strictures upon you about anything – the boy said desperately – And anyway, you’re right about what you said – he sighed, lowering his head – I should be happy that you agreed to this lunacy… I’m sorry I was speaking to you that way – he looked at Laura.
- OK… But if this occurs one more time, we already really split – the girl said, and then began smiling – It’s so odd to say that! We’re a couple! – she laughed – Till now, we were always only friends, and this interchange came so suddenly!
- To me too. But it came so powerfully like it’s been this way already for a long time past – he kissed and embraced the girl again, and they were kissing in each other’s arms again.
Since then, Larry was almost so happy like Laura would have felt the way he felt, too. They met almost every day and then they talked with each other the same way like when they were friends, but they kissed and embraced each other a lot, and went to amuse themselves together in the future too. Sometimes, with Martin, Emilio, Bruce, Zac, Tom or Dennis, or with the girl’s friends, they went to the cinema, to bars and to parties, and sometimes they went to have a pizza or to the McDonald’s. Rarely, but Tom sometimes persuaded him to go with him to play football, and Martin even more rarely persuaded him to play baseball with him, Emilio and Charlie, who loved baseball. Then and when he was filming or visiting Mike, the girl could live her own life with her friends, too. She didn’t need Larry’s presence that much so someone would be next to her who she had known for a comparatively long time past when she had already nerved herself a bit after breaking up with Chris. She made friends with her present friends not long ago. Before it, studying and Chris worked out almost all of her time, and one more friend wouldn’t have held besides Larry.
He had been dating the girl for three months, but since Laura still hadn’t been in love with him, nothing more had been between them than kissing, embracing and fondling.
That was also possible that Laura was virgin yet – the boy thought – so she surely didn’t want to lose her virginity without love – He also knew that if Laura would have fallen in love with him, she surely would have told it to him, in the end, to Chris, she very early told it. The hope that the girl would ever fall in love with him too, was less and less.
- I already feel like you’re with me out of pity only, and I don’t need it – Larry said when he was sitting in his room with Laura, with pulled up feet, leaning against the wall, on his dark gray bed – If you think you’ll never fall in love with me, maybe we’d better to already stop this all now ‘cause I can’t bear this doubtfulness anymore. Maybe I’m better off forgetting you, but then I shouldn’t meet with you anymore. What do you think, what to do?
- I don’t understand what your problem is – the girl said in an uncomprehending way, and turned towards the boy with bent knees – And how do you know that you don’t wanna see me anymore? When we weren’t meeting for long, you said you also missed me at least as a friend! I don’t wanna lose you, and if it’s necessary, I continue this relationship because of it. And you know, too, that I feel good with you, too! – she said, flabbergasted.
Larry decided to say it:
- Then why don’t we sleep together?
- OK, maybe I should have told you - she laughed - My parents are totally religious and don't want me to lose my virginity before marriage. But I wouldn't like it without love, anyway. I want it to be perfect.
- Then tell me: what do you think, will you ever fall in love with me? - Larry was terrified of the answer because if the girl would say no, then he would give up this all because he really felt like Laura was with him almost only out of pity. After he thought about it, he even regretted asking the question. Although since they had been together for so long, it seemed like there wasn't much of a chance, and he should ask it one day - he thought.
- Actually I don't know exactly what I feel for you. Maybe I've already fallen in love with you, just I don't love you that much how much I loved Chris. I think you should take it as I love you, too, and then it's not necessary to change anything.
- OK. I'll try it. It will come out how it will work; I think it will be OK this way. Anyway, you agreed to this relationship mostly for my sake and I can't also just throw our friendship away that you wouldn't like. But I’ll make an offer to you. If some more will also be between us than during these three months, then I promise I won't break off relations with you, even if I still can't believe that you really love me the way I love you.
- I don't know... OK... - the girl sighed, and turned her head away with tightened lips.
- You don't want it so much?
- I don't know. Maybe I'm unable to sleep with you without being sure of my feelings - she said, casting down her eyes.
- We'll go on slowly, and if you don't want to, we don't go on.
- I don't know - the girl restlessly sighed again - OK. But my parents shouldn’t get to know it. Moreover, we can't tell it to anybody. You don't have to say, either, that we still haven't slept together, but we can't tell it to anybody so it's not breathed to my parents.
- And when can we start it?
- Not today yet. I haven't gotten ready for it yet - Laura said restlessly - For it I need  to get up in the morning knowing it in advance. At least one day's necessary for me to get ready for it, and I only say only one day ‘cause otherwise who knows how many days it would be... It's so hard! I’ve never been with anyone. And I didn't think that you would be the first one.
- I only had Kristen, too. To her, that was the first one, too, so I already have experience at treating a girl in this case.
- OK. Let's even stop talking about it! To me, this is even much, at least today yet - Laura had still been nervous.
Next day, Larry got up joyously, and Laura got up very restlessly. She felt like it was impossible to get ready for that. That was different when she met Chris when she was very tipsy, moreover, maybe she even fell in love with him already that night. On the other hand, she didn't love Larry that much how much she loved him, and also, she was sober. It came into her head to lush before the event, but she was afraid that then she would forget what happened. That happened to one of her friends; he snapped very much because she lost her virginity that way. Laura was terrified of the night, it didn't matter what she felt for Larry.
She and Larry hardly could be paying attention during the classes too. For the boy, it was by joy, and for the girl, it was by fear.
It also occurred to Laura to change her mind and to rather maybe not even meet with Larry anymore after a while, to rather do it than to do what they agreed with each other on; but she didn't want to lose the boy. She didn't want to lose him as a friend, as her partner either. She didn't know if she was too bashful for it or she didn't love him enough - Probably both of them - she thought - She didn't love him enough to overcome her bashfulness. With Chris, maybe she would have succeeded in doing it, but during the whole afternoon, she felt like she wouldn't be able to do it.
Till the evening, she allowed herself time to have enough nerve by the time she would get used to the idea.
In continuance of time, she calmed down a bit, but when she had arrived in Larry's place, she was terrified again. It was evening, they had finished studying off already.
- How did you slip your chain? - the boy asked when they sat down on the bed. It was already quarter to nine at night.
- My parents believe I'm going to party. It's just the right time ‘cause it's Friday - Laura said uneasily, and she was sitting with crossed legs and stiffly next to Larry. She wasn't even looking at him.
- Should I give you a drink? - the boy asked.
- Only a little bit - the girl said, frightened by the thought of what would happen to her if she drank more. She also only decided at this moment to drink at all.
- I'll be back soon - the boy stood up from the bed and kissed Laura during it.
After he had left the room, the girl sighed; she was scared to death.
When Larry had arrived with two glasses of champagne in his hands, Laura forced a smile to her lips.
- How was your day? - the boy asked as soon as he had resettled himself beside her.
He was so kind that he allowed more time that the girl didn't have the heart to tell him how much she was  afraid of the night. She had the heart even less to tell him that she was still afraid.
- I was constantly thinking of the night - she only told him this much, with a forced smile.
- Good enough you didn't go in for acting, too. Did any trouble happen?
- No, nothing. I just hardly could be paying attention at school.
- I know studying is very important to you - Larry smiled, and kissed her.
- Yeah - Laura smiled, too, but she had still been ill at ease because of the event that was going to happen after talking.
- Are you sure you want it? Because if you feel like you would only suffer, then we don't have to do it.
- But then I may lose you! - the girl gushed into tears.
- So you don't even want it! - Larry said furiously - Who I wanna, isn't a pro! What I want is to be together with the girl who wants it, too, because loves me, too!
- I know! - Laura shouted restlessly, and her tears were flowing.
- I'm sorry. I should have thought that you still haven't gotten ready for it.  Also, yesterday you told me that one day was maybe too little time for it, but you tried it - the boy wiped Laura's tears, and kissed her.
They embraced each other, and were kissing.
By this feeling and by that little champagne, the girl already felt like she was able to go on.
- Let's try it - she spoke into Larry's ear.
In the next moment, they took off each other's shirt.
They were fondling and kissing each other's chest, and then the boy touched Laura's bra to take it off, but the girl got frightened and suddenly got up from the bed.
Larry only looked at her, startled.
- I'm sorry. I still can't do it - Laura said awkwardly in a bra and light, dotted skirt.
In the next moment, she snatched her white shirt, ran out to the living room, and donned it during it.
She was standing, startled, her back toward him and moaning when Larry went after her.
- But you don't break with me, do you? - the girl turned around, crying.
- Of course I don't. We'll try it again later - the boy hugged Laura who had still been sobbing.
- I'm so sorry! I thought I already would be able to do it!
- We'll wait until you want.
- OK - Laura said with relief.
Larry was disappointed because Laura still hadn't been able to go on in their relationship, but he didn't show it. He knew that it wasn't the girl's fault and how much she was afraid but she still tried it.Their relationship was the same as it was till then, but he didn't know until when he had to wait and when he could broach the subject again at all.   For some weeks, he waited for Laura's initiation; later, he mentioned the subject to her to at least know about how long he would have to wait on. Then the girl said she felt like she would be able to do it soon. Although they didn't know exactly how much time it was, the boy already started to be happy about it.
Tom's eighteenth birthday had come, and he took her to the party, too.
- I've got a present for you – Larry, who was tipsy, said to Tom, laughing, when they were sitting on the dark colored sofa that was pushed to the wall in the huge living room where there was loud music and flickering lights.
- Don't tell me! - Tom guffawed because of the unequivocal fact, too.
- But this is special!
- Really?!
- I share a secret with you that you’ll have bigger self-confidence by, and won't feel less than me - he said for fun.
- Who said that I feel lesser?! Why should I feel like that?! - Tom played hardball funnily.
-  You're not that much alone! I’ve been dating Laura for almost five months already, but I still haven't been able to sleep with her!
- How come?! - Tom asked wonderingly.
- She's totally bashful! Stark like she wanna be some vestal! - it was gratifying to Larry, wreaking the tension he felt because of it behind the girl's back, that way that he didn’t hurt her feelings since she couldn't hear it. He knew that it wasn't her fault but he didn't ask for it, either that she was this much cooling his heels. If Tom would have been sober, he would have been appalled at how Larry was speaking about his girlfriend he loved.
- You're not too poor, you still didn't even buy me anything?! - Tom guffawed - Although admitting such a thing as a dude isn't a little thing! - he grinned - I don't even feel it to be that awkward anymore that I'm still a virgin! - he laughed.
- And I, the older man, safeguard you against lying with any bitch from here only ‘cause it's time to start it and ‘cause it's a party! - he funnily played the officious daddy.
- Yeah, by that one year, you really smoothly could be my father! - Tom guffawed.
- At that time, I didn't start it on my own birthday, either - the other one continued it.
- Very good Dad, I appreciate that large present! - Tom laughed.
Later, he also imparted his real present: football fittings to his garden.
On the thirtieth, it was Larry's ninetieth birthday's turn. He was having it at home, too; since his new flat was big, it was perfectly good enough for it. He invited Laura, Martin, Emilio, Dennis, Bruce, Zac, Tom, and all of his pals. In the roomy living room, loud, thundering rap music was sounding because most of his friends were black, too, and he also liked this genre. So there would be as many people as possible and so Laura would feel as good as possible, too, he also had her invite her friends.
- Well, has the girl slept with you already? - Tom asked, playing jokes on him under the influence of alcohol.
- Once she has already almost agreed to that - Larry said roughly - She's starting to fall for me! - he grinned.
- And I always only get such young chicks who don't want it yet - the other one made his moan.
- Since you’ve got such a handsome map that I so much hate about you, you'll surely also get older ones!
- You could get them instead ‘cause you seem to be much older than your age and you're much more masculine! And allegedly blacks are better in bed! And anyway, you've told me that Laura's starting to fall for you, so relax, she surely sleeps with you soon!
- I haven't even given my birthday present to you - Laura came up to Larry cheerfully.
- And what's that? - the boy asked, smiling.
- I bought some books for you but I'll only give them to you later.
Tom mingled between the others.
- You surely wait for my other present much more - Laura smiled, embracing his neck - And I'm gonna give that to you in your room - she said seductively, and kissed him.
Larry already began cherishing the hope when they set off for the boy's room, holding each other's hand.
He was right. The girl locked the door, and kissed him again. They embraced each other and were kissing.
- Are you sure you want it already? - Larry asked when they were still embracing each other.
- I'm sure - the girl said, seriously, too; and they continued kissing.
While fondling each other, the boy took off her white, short-sleeved shirt, and the girl took off the other's black shirt, and then she dropped her dark pink skirt to the dark blue carpet.
Larry took off his jeans, and they sat down to the bed in each other's arms, kissing. They were fondling and kissing each other everywhere they could, and then continued it, laying, then their underwear was off, too.
Larry also remembered under the influence of alcohol that the girl was very afraid during the first cast too, so now he was so gentle and careful that Laura was even enjoying that too.
They fell asleep together, and joyously woke up next to each other.
They were taking a shower together, after that, were making love again, and then ate up the breakfast together that the housekeeper made. Larry, when he moved, hired Lisa, the white, thirty-three-year-old woman who had blonde hair with a pony-tail. She was also pretty but the boy had already recovered from feeling drawn to older women.
- You already live just like a star! – Laura implied to his keeping a housekeeper, laughing.
- I'm a dude, I'm not gonna do any housework so I need somebody, and also, I’ve got money for it since I constantly work - Larry said, eating the omelet. Lisa wasn't in the roomy dining room anymore that was equipped with modern table and chairs; she was happen to be cleaning something somewhere - But if my mother's dream comes true, I'll really be a real movie star - the boy continued - She doesn't even wanna anything else but to have a made actor son! It's a good thing I moved away from her. She only constantly pushed me. When we meet, she still does it as well. In the theater, I like playing, but in movies, I don't get any parts nowadays but I only get parts in one episode of some series.
- And do you assume anything in the theater?! – the girl laughed.
- Why not? OK, I'm not gonna be naked. And before you ask, I'm not gonna do that in any series and movie either.
- Poor spectators! While you've got a hot body - Laura said seductively - But I’d rather keep it for myself... - she just finished having the breakfast, stood up from the chair, and kissed the boy.
He had finished eating off already, too, and spoke to Lisa to wash the dishes, and then, with the girl, went out to the living room which black and green colors surmounted.
- How good it can be that you boss a white girl around! - Laura said funnily.
- Yeah! Among star nominees, the tables turn! - Larry was kidding, and loosely plonked down to the sofa.
- What will we be doing? - the girl joined him in a bored manner.
- My favorite series is gonna be on now - the boy answered loosely, and switched on the TV.
- But you don't want me to watch some guy series with you, do you?! - Laura nestled to him, pretending to sulk.
- Don't do it now! I can't watch it another time - Larry frowned, and was watching the TV.
- Oh my God! - the girl got frightened suddenly.
- What's up?
- I would have had to go home already a long time ago!
- Then are you leaving now?
- I have to. Dennis was going to take me home after the party. My parents will totally hit the roof!
- Don't you call them?
- Now I'm already rather going. We'll meet later. Bye! - she kissed the boy, and then already teared off.
Larry, after the series, called Dennis in a hurry to say sorry for he couldn't find Laura who he would have had to take home after the party; but he told about what its reason was.
- You were surely waiting for lots of time for her to turn up. I'm sorry - he said.
- It doesn't matter. I'm happy that you succeeded in doing it. You already needed it badly - the man laughed.
- That's true! - Larry laughed, too.
- On the other hand, don't be surprised if her parents forbid her to meet with you for a good while.
- What?!
- Relax, I was just kidding. Although they surely pretty much hit the roof.
- Laura’s already almost a grown woman. They can't decide who she can meet and who she can't.
- Then I'm already pretty old! - he said - A little teenager to be a grown woman?
- She's seventeen years old...
- You're not even completely of full age, either, let alone her.
- If you bug me for two years because of those two years, I won't invite you to my next birthday party - Larry was kidding in a serious voice.
- OK. And you can't come to my next, even first middle-aged birthday party - the man retorted funnily.
- And anyway, I live alone. Is it not enough?
- That's still not enough for coming-of-age.
Already that day, Larry went to Laura's place, and apologized to the girl's parents in person.
- How dare you still come here?! - Laura's father's look was extremely furious, and his voice was almost in a whisper of anger.
His wife was standing there next to him, on the living room's beige carpet which was surrounded with orange tile.
- What were you doing at all with our daughter even till the morning?! - the wife's deep voice was heard, and she stared at the boy, frightened.
It then came into Larry's head: Laura's parents proscribed their daughter to lose her virginity before marriage.
- Avast it now! - the man looked at his wife.
- He's right. It’s even more important that we were sick with concern because we didn't know what happened to her! - the woman's voice was quavering, and she was close to tears.
First, Larry couldn't put a word in by them; after that, he was only lingering on the orange tile, startled - They were completely right. How could he be this irresponsible? - he thought - But in the end, it was Laura's fault...
- Has Laura told you what happened? - Larry asked, afraid.
- She told us that the party lasted for a long time. But we know that there was more than that - the man said.
- You two could at least tell us that she would come home later. And about punctually when - the woman's voice was furious, and her look was scared.
- But we wouldn't have let her stay for so long then either - her husband looked at her but the anger that was on his face, was meant for Larry - If we knew where you live, we would have gone for her. This also shows how untrustworthy you are. Surely there's a reason why you didn't give us your address.
- I simply didn't think it important - the boy said sincerely. He felt like a child who was told off.
- And what this shows is that how irresponsible you are - the woman's voice had still been quavering after the fright which it caused, that Laura was several hours late during the night, and then in the morning; and there was contempt in her eyes what she felt for the boy.
- I think you two have conducted this conversation with Laura already - Larry only said this much. He didn't want to tell that it was the girl's fault. He wasn't only afraid that he could have a conflict with her by that but he didn't want to expose Laura to an even bigger quarrel with her parents.
- You know it well - her mother said coldly - She got two months of house arrest so don't expect to meet with her for a good while!
- And don't expect it after that either - there was anger in her husband's voice, but he was sober.
- You two don't have the right to this! - Larry said - Laura is almost a grown woman...
- Get lost from our house! - the woman interrupted him.
Larry started towards the door in disappointment, but heard running steps behind himself, so stopped, and turned around.
- No! - Laura arrived in the living room - It's my fault!
- Laura, don't! - the boy tried to stop her, frightened.
If she would tell them that she initiated their sleeping together, she would get an even longer house arrest since these old-fashioned parents raised their almost adult daughter like she was a child - he thought.
- Mom, Dad, Larry's a wonderful boy! He waited for me for months until I was ready to go on in our relationship, and still he was the one who comforted me when I couldn't do that at the outset! - the girl shouted - And I love him - she continued in a low voice.
- Well, my dear, you can choose well! - her mother said ironically and indignantly - He deprived you of your virginity, as an addition, he scared your parents to death! Already everything occurred to us about what could happen to you! Can you imagine it?!
- I've already said that it was my fault! - Laura shouted.
- What do you mean? - her father asked, startled.
- Laura... You don't have to tell them... - the boy said tensely.
- Indeed, I have to tell them - the girl's voice was resolute, and her face was serious while she was standing there, on the beige colored carpet of the living room - I was the one who wanted to stay there for the night - she turned towards her parents dramatically.
- What??? - her mother was astonished. Her husband's look, who was standing next to her, was similar.
- I was the one who decided to give my virginity to Larry and to also sleep at his place.
The parents couldn't believe their ears - Their innocent little girl... - they thought - And they were still reliant on her and that boy.
- At least you could have talked her off from staying there till the morning without a word - the man tried to blame Larry in the future too.
- You two are abject! - Laura was indignant - You two can't keep your powder dry that I'm not your baby girl anymore! Why don’t you two get off Larry at last? He didn’t do anything!
- How do you speak to us? – her father was astonished.
- Is this what we taught you?! – her mother’s voice was furious and desperate at the same time.
When would this long scene that fit into a play, come to an end at last? – Larry thought.
- I can imagine what you two feel. It could be terrible that you two had no idea where your daughter could be all night and what could happen to her. I’m sorry not calling you, it didn’t come into my head – he tried to close the argument.  He didn't need his talent, he was really aware of the seriousness of the situation about what they could go through. It was terrible to think about how much fright they caused to them.
- Now leave - the woman said tensely.
The youngsters' look was linked.
Who knew when they would see each other again - they thought.
- I don't let them part us! - the girl shouted when Larry left, and after that, Laura ran upstairs to her room, crying.
Larry was restlessly driving towards home - He needed to figure out something not to lose Laura for two months or for even longer time - he thought - Even less forever - Those two months also seemed to be unbearable when he thought about that - But the way the girl stood up for the two of them, showed that she wouldn’t let her parents order about. They surely wouldn't keep her home by physical force. They had to let her go to school, and couldn’t tug at her so she would go home when her classes were over.  They would at most lock the door when she was at home and would also take Laura's key away when she wouldn’t notice it, hiding it with their entrance keys - Larry was so much afraid of also losing her for a long time after Kristen that he went over every detail how they could obviate that with Laura - At least this girl didn’t subject herself to her parent's regulations - he thought.
After he had gone home, he called Martin to his place, and told his story.
- With dictations, it's impossible to manage a seventeen-year-old girl if she's not ready to comply with them. There surely won't be any serious trouble by it - the man said, drinking beer with Larry in the dining room.
- I know. I'm just afraid of them physically keeping her back or something like that - the boy was watching his glass.
- I know what you think about. You've said that Kristen's father beat her. But it doesn't mean that this will happen to your next girlfriend too. You also know that Kristen's father started to lead her with physical violence already before your relationship, and that wasn't your fault.
- I know. It still shouldn't stay this way that she and her parents hate each other. And they also should get on well with me.
- I'm surprised to hear it from you. I believe you’re not getting on too well with your mother, either.
- That's different. Laura and her parents even hate one another. You should have seen the way they had been speaking to each other.
- You can really love that girl since that's also so important to you what her relationship is like with her parents.
As soon as Martin had left, Larry immediately called Laura. He felt in the future too, like they had to talk it over how they could avoid her parents' prohibition. He also immediately wanted to resolve his last doubt in connection with if they could lose each other, even only temporarily.
On the other hand, the girl's mother answered the phone and didn't let him talk to Laura.
Larry desperately replaced the receiver after the woman kept offending him again.
If he couldn’t talk to the girl, how could they arrange when and where to meet again at all? - he thought.
He sat down to his bed, leaned his head on his hands, and was considering - If he went before the high school's building, maybe her parents would be there when her classes were over, and they wouldn't have time to meet before classes, and he didn't know till when her classes lasted on which day. If he was lingering before their house, Laura's parents wouldn't let her out, either, moreover, then there would be even less chance of them letting her out, and they would even chase him away. If he wrote a letter to her, the parents surely wouldn't give that to their daughter, and probably they checked the post-box - he thought.
In his sheer desperation, Larry decided to write a letter.
He stood up from the bed, walked to his desk, but his phone began ringing.
It was Laura.
- My parents are out, although I'm locked in, and they took the keys away - she said.
- At least we can be talking – her boyfriend said.
- Exactly. We should arrange where and when we can meet. Tomorrow it's Sunday so they surely won't let me go anywhere. Not that I would obey them, just they definitely lock me in, either they'll be home or not, and they don't even give the key back to me - the girl googled her eyes on the other side of the line - So on Monday, my classes last till four; they have to let me go there. Could you come there?
- I'll be there. I thought it exactly this way, too.
- Super. During every date, we're gonna arrange the next occasion. It's gonna be dead exciting!
- And what if your parents get to know that you were with me ‘cause you didn't go home in time?
- I don't care.
- You'll be a sheer nervous wreck by their splits.
- In the course of time, they surely learn at last that they can't command me. I'm fed up with their stupid commands!
- I'm sure you are. And I hope in the course of time, they really let you alone and stop ordering you about, and stop their fireworks. Just you have to bear it till then somehow.
- I don't care about the way they treat me if I can be with you in exchange for that.
- Did you mean it when you said you loved me? You haven't told me but you've only said it's possible that this is already that feeling.
- I guess I did - after that, she laughed - I love you - she said seriously.
- I love you too.
Larry reviewed his script, and then went to that day's appearance.
This day was long. The first waking and joint breakfast with Laura, the scene at their house, talking with Martin at his place, and he also had to be doing his best in the theater - he thought.
That solaced him that he was able to talk to Laura but he wearily thought about how many things had happened that day, and he was already sleepy during driving the car, but the fear of falling asleep and causing an accident, was keeping him awake. He already smiled when recollected that what a bull's wool it was that his running over almost happened, since when he more carefully had been driving and what by he was so much afraid of an accident now.
Such a memory that raised a smile and fear at the same time: it would be pretty hard to play it as an actor, too - he thought. He loved his work so much that this came into his head through so many things. During the ride to the theater that seemed to be longer than usual because of his sleepiness, what was keeping him awake, was already the joy that he could be playing again soon.
In the changing-room, his sleepiness was already completely over by the delectable excitement that pervaded him before almost every appearance. He picked up strength by the adrenaline, by the delight of acting and by the instantaneous reaction after playing for the audience, and this day, like on almost every occasion, he fascinated the audience with the play he staged with his fellow actors. This is a team work, always depends on all of the persons' efficacy but when the actors separately lout, that's a wonderful feeling for that person who gets the biggest applause, and this night he got one of the biggest ones, too.
Larry and Laura met every day after school, and it wasn't even always at the high school but always in different places because the girl could go wherever after school, her parents couldn't prevent her from doing it. In the course of time, they also abandoned locking the door and hiding the keys because their daughter went home late after school, so they saw that these were superfluous. They also got tired of the constant quarrels, and realized at last that they couldn't do anything against Laura's free, independent life anymore so the arguments were also superfluous the same way. They couldn't affect her by commends, neither by trying persuasion, using it through quarrels.
- We already only live with one another like simple acquaintances - Laura said at home, sitting at the table, stirring the coffee in her cup.
- And is it good or bad? - Larry asked, who was sitting in front of her and drinking cola. The girl's parents had already let him in the house.
- I don't know. It's a bit scary. I'm starting to grow up. I mean I'm not only starting it anymore but I’ve really grown up. But at the same time, it's so good that my parents don't try to direct my life anymore! - she finished it cheerfully.
- That's good - Larry's voice was neutral.
- Is there any problem? - Laura was surprised.
- No, nothing.
- That's OK - the girl smiled, and drank from the coffee.
After he had gone home, his phone began ringing.
It was Hattie. They hadn't talked to each other for a long time already. He didn't know what she could want because now she still called him out of the blue.
- How is my movie star baby boy?! - the cheerful question was heard in a strange style. Larry was taken aback by how much she changed since they hadn't talked.
In the end, months passed - he thought - But still not years…
- Mom, how come you called me? - the boy asked, still wonderingly.
- I’d just like to chin with you again – the woman said - We've talked so long ago! Tell me about something! Have you got a girlfriend already? How’s studying going? And what about the appearances?
- Now which one to answer?
- Oh how eager I am! - she laughed - I wanna know everything about you! Tell me!
She wasn't that old, strict mother anymore who pushed him towards a successful career but she was like some old friend who was tanked up - Larry though.
- You're so different. What happened since we haven't talked? - the boy asked straight.
- I love marriage!  Next to Kevin, I’m completely rejuvenated! Like we’re a young pair again! - Hattie went into raptures over it, joyously.
- Did you also feel this way with Dad in the beginning?
- Then we were still very young. We already got married when we were eighteen years old.
- Yeah, really.
- You still have time until getting married. Your career is the most important.
In that regard, she hadn't changed - Larry thought.
- What I would be really surprised at, would be if you didn't remain that parent who chivies me into stardom - the boy said, laughing.
It didn't make sense to argue that this was the only thing which she cared for in connection with him - he thought - They already lived apart, anyway, and they hardly talked to each other, even on the phone.
- I also think that marriage would be early. Laura’s too young to that yet - he only said this much.
- At last, you've at least uncovered the girl's name! And how old is she? Since when have you two been dating? What does she study? - the woman kept asking excitedly - She studies to be an actor, too, doesn't she? Then you two match better.
Larry already would have begun being surprised at it if he wouldn't have seen her mother's drift again.
- No, she doesn't study to be an actress but we hit it off together - her son answered.
- She's not much younger than you, is she? Bad whispers hurt your renown – Hattie said.
- No, she's not. She's already almost eighteen years old - it was already tiring for Larry, and it was also audible in his voice.
- And does she study in some decent school?
-  Yes, she goes to high school...
- So that's OK. Do you go to movies' auditions? Or have you also been asked to play in any movie?
- Nowadays I play in the theater a lot. When I like a movie, I'm gonna develop - the boy began losing his patience.
This woman still supervised him, even being an adult who lived apart! - he thought.
Larry was even happy that he hardly kept in touch with his mother – That would have put the lid on it if she would have nagged him on with her career mania when Laura’s, his almost eighteen-year-old girlfriend’s parents had gotten off her already – he thought.
For a good while, he didn’t even want to talk to his mother – Laura’s parents needed drastic things, too, not to treat her so much like a child. That long break may bring Hattie to her senses – he thought.
- My mother will get frightened and will a bit recoil when she experiences what that's result is if she takes care of my interest only about making her proud by becoming some huge star - he said to Laura during accompanying her home from the restaurant where they were having a lunch with Emilio and with his partner.
- I don't understand you. I even miss my parents caring for me again. Maybe that step was too big that I diverged so much from them... I miss my childhood. It's scary that I grew up.
- I nostalgically think about my childhood. I think about what it was like, and what it would have been like if it wouldn't have been so short by studying to be an actor, and after that, because of acting itself. On the other hand, you're already almost eighteen years old. You don't have to be afraid - Larry said when they had arrived at the girl's house - Anyway, I'm here for you and care for you - he fondled Laura's face and hair, and kissed her.

MAGGIE I am so down to compliment you any time. First and foremost, you are my FAVORITE. You are so sweet and so kind and sometimes I’m still so in awe that you follow me??? You are by far the most rational person on here so whenever there’s any kind of discourse I go to your blog first bc you’re so smart and can coordinate your brain cells to think things through which is super admirable. You are smart, funny, kind, gorgeous, generally amazing and truly who I hope to be when I grow up.
Send me a 🌹 for a compliment !!

What your fave EW character says about you
Edd: You really love characters who are just A Guy ™. Heck you might even just like guys who are just A Guy™. You also really do love the show buuut you're partial to Classic Eddsworld
Tom: You are a TomSka fan plain and simple. You got into Eddsworld because of TomSka and your fave era is Legacy. If it isn't because of TomSka, you're just a monster lover uwu
Matt: You exist? Joking, you like underappreciated characters and boy is Matt underappreciated in the fandom you think. You love that he's been both a zombie AND a vampire. You're probably a bit fairer on Beyond than most people are.
Tord: If you're a fan of pre legacy Tord, you proudly say it and draw him with that trench coat and/or dark hair. You love how he was just some quiet dude. You are not fond of Legacy Tord or and you are a MASSIVE fan of Pre-Legacy/Classic Era
If you're more partial to Legacy Tord, you started watching Eddsworld with either The End or because of the boom in 2016 OR possibly Friday Night Funkin'. You live and breath Legacy.
Eduardo: You are Hispanic/Latino or some other POC. Point is, you project the hell onto this man. You wish we had more episodes of this guy. Your favorite episodes are Hammer & Fail (both parts) or PowerEdd. You either really hate Edd or you really love Edd.
Jon: You thought he was cute and you felt bad for how Eduardo treated him :(. Saloonatics is probably your favorite episode. You are so so mad he's not being brought back for Beyond.
Mark: I refuse to believe you exist but if you do, you just wanted this guy to have more characterization. Also, you're probably gay. At the very least, you cheered at him being in Beaster Bunny.
Laurel: You are female and probably gay and/or just wished for more female characters. If you aren't female you just saw this cute chick with blue hair and was so upset she hasn't made a proper comeback
Bing: You love unhinged men. You love how fucking bizarre he is, you would kill for another episode with Bing.
Larry: You are the Larry to someone's Bing. You relate to a man that deals with so much BS. You applauded when he snapped at everyone.
Tomatoredd, Torm, Scribble Tom, etc.: You will never shut up about how much potential these guys have. If any of the rejects ever come back you would simply die. You live these freaks of nature.
Paul/Pat: Paul fans, y'all probably have been an eddsworld fan forever. You love to point him out in other episodes. You love his stupid cloudberg comment. You love his eyebrows. You'd take a bullet for Paul.
Pat fans, you just thought his :| face was great and you love his stupid hair. He's just there and you love him.
Kim/Katya: You are gay. You love these two anime gays. That being said, your fanart of them is drawn in the regular style and you're a lil salty Beyond isn't bringing them back.
Coco, Hellucard, Yuu, Yanov and/or other background characters named or otherwise: You saw a cute design and you ran with it. If they had a canon speaking role, then that episode is your favorite. If they have no name then you not only gave them one but you gave them a whole backstory. If they have tanner skin than what the main four have you definitely projected for a simple taste of diversity.
Ell, Tamara, Matilda, Tori: Same as the lads for the most part except that you are either female, wlw, or you just really love women. You metaphorically exploded when Beyond brought the girls back.

1/ After seeing how Harries reacted to Boyfriends at Coachella (they freaked out and wrote think pieces and essays about it), how they're starting to come to terms that Holivia could be a PR stunt and so they're inventing all these secret girlfriends that Harry supposedly has, how they're completely dismissive of My Policeman and refusing to support it but they never stop talking about DWD, how they're making up excuses why Harry might have a dude in a music vid and saying that he is just
Tumblr media
Hi love. Well… you’ve summed up a lot of what goes on. Many are very young. Many are caught up in their own fantasies about boys/men and are projecting it onto Harry. Many are homophobic, many are stuck in a very heteronormative way of looking at things, many just want to be “right” about Larry… some are all of the above.
Look, even if you take Louis, Larry, and the idea that H is queer out of the equation, it’s just painfully obvious that his relationship with Olivia isn’t real. If you’re willing to just look into that a tiny bit, so many other beliefs these people hold on to start to crumble. And I think that’s very, very difficult for many of them to accept.

Have you heard about this Holivia drama? That a BUA is coming and she is going to drag H’s name through the mud and insinuate he has a drug problem? Like I feel like I’m missing something because it was all over IG and TikTok (I know @skepticalarrie tells us to stay off of Larry TikTok 😬😀).
Hi dear,
Allie is 100000% right. 99.9% of what comes from larry tiktok is utter bs/made up/twisted/a dumb take.
This rumor you mentioned originated from VisiblyBi I think? He said that like he does all his other inflammatory claims that he literally just makes up out of thin air. He's also claimed Harry is a rent boy, and that he has a coke problem. I strongly dislike that account bc they claim to be "an insider" and say all of these things as if they're facts followed by absolutely no proof. His header reads "When I tweet trust it." -> That's literally "source: trust me dude".
I would love nothing more than for them to end the stunt soon, but if they are, this ass of a dude behind this twitter account will not know about it. Not to mention that if we're thinking logically about this, and Holivia is in fact ending - how in the hell would he, or anyone, know Olivia's plans to spread lies about a drug problem? How dumb would someone have to be to go around telling the industry at large that they have this genius smear campaign planned against someone else? Give me a break. If she was doing that, she'd be giving Harry's team all the information to plot a counter-campaign ahead of time, so her plan will be dead in the water. So no. There's no way this is going on or that info this guy is spreading is true.
I think it's much more likely and logical for her to try and garner attention from a breakup by saying things like,
his lifestyle doesn't fit her life currently, and they're in different phases of their lives. They have different goals. Their careers are too busy atm and going in different directions. She has to focus on herself, her kids and her career. Her kids are her priority, and this relationship wasn't compatible with that. The distance took its toll. They're gonna remain friends and have a great deal of love for each other.
If she wants to stir drama she can insinuate that the fast life of touring, partying and rock n roll isn't for her. And then let the press run with their articles about "wild tour pop star Harry Styles" or whatever. -> this is pretty mild tho, and a statement from his team could fix it.
Anyways, this got very long for no reason. But the bottom line is: this rumor is based on nothing but a twitter troll's words, and it got amplified by fans freaking out about it in gc and twitter Spaces which inevitably leaks onto tiktok - and the rest is history.
