The one thing I regret the most about Duck Tales 17 being so detatched from the Disney canon (whatever it is) is that it will probably preclude us to have Scrooge voiced by David Tennant ever again.

Bought a movie from childhood today!

My family had this on VHS and even though we never watched a single episode of *DuckTales*, me and my sibs loved this movie

I swear watching stuff like Aladdin, DuckTales the Movie, and The Mummy, not to mention playing a ton of Crash Bandicoot 3 made me want to go to some land with a desert and search tombs for treasure growing up

As I child I heard people talk a lot about the Disney classics which weren't classics because of a technicality (the people and studios who made them would eventually become part of WDAS soon after the release of these movies).

The pictures I'm talking about are, as you've easily understood, DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp and A Goofy Movie.

While I had the opportunity to watch A Goofy Movie in my formative years (and go back on it later in life), I ended up watching DuckTales The Movie only as an adult. And boy, if the first is an unforgetable masterpiece that shows clearly why Brizzi Films was absorbed by Disney (and not any Disney branch, but WDAS itself!), DuckTales was...

Ok, I'm writing an entire post only to say that I strongly dislike this movie, both from a technical pov and a narrative one (the latter maybe less, it's just mid). But I have to applaud the progress those artist made in a short span of time.

We also included characters that appear outside the farm! Bugs Bunny is the Sheriff of the nearby city. He likes to take on challenges to show off his wit and pawns off smaller outlaws on his deputy, Daffy Duck. At night time, he goes undercover as a burlesque dancer to gain information about criminal whereabouts in town. Babs and Buster Bunny (no relation) live in a town (turning on city) several hours travel away. They both work for the sheriff and deputy. Buster is a deputy in training and Babs does clerical issues and cleans up buster's messes. She has a gun but doesn't use it as much. (Although she IS a better shot than Buster.) The other six characters are various people in the small town close to the ranch, or in the larger city. In order, left to right: Ms. Perla is a middle age dog who works in the same saloon as Mr. Bentley, she is a very serious woman and tends to handle the more complicated costumers but can be very sweet, she lives in a small house in town with her cousin Ms. Katara and Mr. Argus. Ms. Katara works as store clerk in town, she goes to see Ms. Perla whenever she has time during the day, even though she gets scolded, a very enthusiastic woman and very friendly. Mr. Argus works as carpenter in town, he's a widower but a hardworking man that tends to get in trouble with outsiders if they look suspicious enough but a very nice man otherwise, tries to keep Ms. Perla and Ms. Katara safe. Mr. Bentley is a jolly middle aged dog who tends the saloon in town. He always seems to have some long winded story for patrons and enjoys playing the piano at the saloon when he has extra help and he has the time. Mrs. Flame owns the small general store in town. She's a widow but she's very kind and while she doesn't really know the warners, she tends to very secretly give Yakko a discount when he comes in to buy things and hopes he won't notice. Ms. Belle is a stocker that helps Ms. Flame in her shop on delivery days. She's excitable and boisterous and loves making friends, but she's sworn off men for an unknown reason.

Oh thank god I finally got to actually draw an actual art after whole months of not doing so.

And it’s a birthday drawing to none other than Ben Schwartz!!! Happy birthday dude!!

Drawn with, of course, the 4 good and super bruce boys he has voiced. Of course, I know some other characters he has voiced but drawing them too would made this take a bit longer and plus I wanted to finish this as quickly as possible which is why this looks like there was barely effort put in it so yeah. (I may or may have not kinda started on this yesterday as soon as I realised tomorrow (today) was his birthday)

Also this is my first time ever making art for any voice actor or pretty much anyone else famous like EVER. The reason why i usually don’t is because I often forget real easily. As I said before, my memory kinda sucks so I sometimes might forget things, that includes birthdays, I even forget some of my family members birthdays too and still do today! (I guess I’m kinda like Randy who forgets Howard’s birthday-) I probably won’t do something like this again but right now I wanted to, especially since I’m finally starting to go back to drawing some more after dealing with no motivation.

So here ya go. Once again, Happy Birthday Ben Schwartz! Keep being the awesome and fun man you are!
