The Day the Earth Blew Up was SUCH a fun watch with just amazing animation, ESPECIALLY that gum monsterholyshitdog. And I just loved/resonated so much with the not-so-subtle shade they had Petunia throwing at derivative, uninspired, repackaged, BLAND "gum". How perfect for the movie to be released around the same time as that Snow White junk to just drive that point home of taking chances and trying something new with creative endeavors vs constant soulless remakes that are creatively bankrupt. I fucking hate these "live action" animation remakes ya'll lol they make me so mad. Anyways, burn that shit up Petunia <3

Naturally it can’t stay in Fawcette (aka the magic capital) he can’t ask anyone in the magic user, or a normal civilian because the magical creature is still dangerous, even without it sucking out magic.
