Ivanov Seniors Graduate!

Ivanov Seniors experienced a bittersweet day today, even more so than any usual High School Graduation, as over the celebrations and festivities hung a black cloud of doom.

After the conference officially announcing that the Empire was at war with Windenburg, all foreign students were immediately sent back to their respective countries and families- except for the graduating seniors, who were allowed to stay a few more weeks in order to complete their courses and celebrate this momentous milestone.

Lady Josephine Arrington celebrated her big day with her parents, Princess Natasha and Jamie Arrington, Duke and Duchess Eastmeadow, and her younger brothers, Theodore, Marquess Branmar, and Christopher, Earl Maymour. Lady Josephine will be continuing her education at Britechester University where she plans to major in Ballet Performance, and one day transfer to the Royal Ballet Academy and follow in her parents' footsteps.

Miss Wren Hathaway was joined by her mother, Megan Ivanov, Duchess Arnsey, her step-father, Prince Nickolai Ivanov, her step-sister, Princess Victoria Yang, and her husband, Lord Louis Yang. Miss Hathaway will be joining her friend and cousin, Lady Josephine, at Britechester University, where she will be studying pre-med, in the hopes of also following in her mother's footsteps and one day becoming a pediatrician.

Prince Grant Ivanov proved his naysayers wrong when he walked across the stage with a perfect 4.0 GPA, and celebrated his accomplishment with his father and step-mother, Prince Yuri and Kacie Ivanov, Earl and Countess Thornleigh, and his little sister, Princess Alexandria Ivanov. Prince Grant has chosen to defer his enrollment to Britechester University in favor of volunteering for active military service. When he does return to college, he will be majoring in Criminal Justice Advocacy.

Only a few short months after she had transfered to IRA from a school in Komorebi, Miss Reyna Medieros, the ambassadress' daughter, graduated with top marks despite the chaos of changing schools mid-year. She was joined by her parents, Mr. Ignas and Ambassador Samantha Medieros, as well as her younger brother, Ricardo Medieros. Miss Medieros will be attending Foxbury Institute for her first year of college, and hopes one day to transfer to Mount Komorebi University to continue her studies in Komorebian Culture and Diplomacy.

Crown Princess Claude Pelletier shocked no one when she made Valedictorian- and celebrated this huge accomplishment with her mother, Queen Regent Genevieve, and little brother, King Adam Pelletier. The Queen Regent was heard telling the Dauphine that her father was "there in spirit, and so, so proud." Crown Princess Claude will be joining Lady Josephine and Miss Hathaway at Britechester University, where she plans to double major in Foreign Languages and World History.

His Lordship, Viscount Beckham Landgraab, walked across the stage in front of his parents, Princess Carolin and Soren Landgraab, Duke and Duchess Clovervale, and his older sister, Lady Brianne. The Viscount is choosing to defer his collegiate experience until after the war and instead has volunteered for the Oasis Springs Military Service. After the war, he plans to attend "whatever school Malie ends up at" but wherever he goes, he'd like to study Music Performance.

Princess Malie celebrated her culture by wearing a Sulani Lei as she walked across the stage, in honor of her mother, grandmother, and younger sister who could not be at her graduation. Sulani is one of the island nations in the Southern Sea currently being occupied by Windenburgian Naval Forces. But Malie did not celebrate alone. She was able to be joined by her paternal Aunt and Uncle, Queen Misha and King Cesare Colona, and grandfather, Prince Widower Alfonso Colona, all three of whom currently reside in Glimmerbrooke. Princess Malie will be continuing her education at Britechester University for the duration of the war, then plans to transfer to the Chieftain's International University in Sulani when she's able to. She hopes to double major in Sulani History and Mythology, and Sports Medicine.

Tsarina's Birthday BBQ

Part I

This weekend Her Imperial Majesty celebrated her birthday with a big family barbeque at the Imperial Family's summer castle on the bay in Brindleton.

There was no grand ball or ceremonial dinner, and no press allowed of any kind. Her Majesty was kind enough, however, to share these photos taken at the event of all the guests, by the family's beloved Nanny Anya.

Royal Portraits

Part VIII

As a gift to TIMs Tsar Alexei amd Tsarina Nadia, Crown Princess Ekaterina, in collaboration with her younger siblings, has organized a series of official portraits of the Imperial Children and their ever growing family.

His Imperial Highness, Prince Nickolai Ivanov, Duke of Arnsey, is the oldest of twins Nickolai and Natasha. He broke royal tradition when he chose to attend Foxbury Institute for college instead of the typical choice of University of Britechester. It was there at Foxbury that he met Lady Baylee Milner, daughter to the Marquess of Torendi, in one of his classes. The pair hit it off and didn't date for very long before they were engaged. Its speculated that they were married in a shotgun wedding due to Lady Baylee's secret pregnancy.

Her Imperial Highness, Lady Baylee Ivanov, Duchess of Arnsey, is the wife of Prince Nickolai Ivanov and daughter to the Marquess of Torendi. She met the prince when they were both in college, and it was considered a very proper match until rumors started that she was pregnant before they were married. Those rumors were confirmed when shortly after the wedding, Lady Baylee was visibly showing, proving she had to have been pregnant for several months before the marriage. Together the Duke and Duchess have one daughter.

Her Highness, Lady Victoria Ivanov, is the only child of the Duke and Duchess of Arnsey, Prince Nickolai and Lady Baylee Ivanov. Known as "Cora" by her family, her favorite thing is visiting her grandparents, the Marquess and Marchioness of Torendi, and pointing out birds from their balcony at Torendi Tower.

Arnsey Addition!

There must be something in the water in the empire this week because a third couple from the royal family has announced the birth of their latest addition.

Prince Nickolai and Lady Baylee Ivanov, the Duke and Duchess of Arnsey, welcome their daughter, Lady Victoria Simone Ivanov. Victoria, who they plan to nickname "Cora" comes from the Duchess' mother, Lady Corinne Milner, and "Simone" is for Lady Baylee's older brother, Lord Simon Milner, Earl of the Alto District.

The garden in the back of Arnsey Manor in San Myshuno overlooking the bay seemed like the perfect setting to welcome the little bundle of joy.

Rosy Red Royals

In a private ceremony at the Glimmerbrooke Royal Rose Garden, Her Imperial Highness Princess Maria married her longtime partner, Miss Encarna Dias of Britechester.

The ceremony was held in the Royal Rose Garden in Glimmerbrooke, and was attended only by the Princess's immediate family members, and Miss Dias' sister, miss Annabelle Dias.

Miss Dias and her younger sister have been on their own for the majority of their lives, and Miss Dias has stated in an interview before how much she enjoys being part of such a large family as is the Imperial Family.

Her Highness, Princess Natasha was seen attending the ceremony alone, for the second official outing since the infamous photo scandal. She has not been seen with Mr. Arrington since.

And it looks like we were correct in assuming that the Duchess of Arnsey may have been hiding a secret under her wedding gown, as she attended this event with quite a baby bump on display!

Our congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Arnsey for their incoming arrival. Neither the Imperial Palace nor Arnsey House have released a statement with regards to the Duchess being pregnant before the couple was married and whether or not the wedding was a shotgun wedding, but with how far along the Duchess is, we don't have to guess far.

The bridal party consisted of- Her Highness, Princess Misha Colona, the twin sister to Princess Maria, Prince Ygor Ivanov, youngest brother to the princess and fellow LGBTQ+ royal, and Miss Annabelle Dias, younger sister to Miss Encarna Dias.

Upon their marriage, His Imperial Majesty, Tsar Alexei, granted the couple the Duchy of Hartwards, and Hartwards Manor in San Myshuno. They shall hence forth be styled as Their Imperial Highnesses, The Princess and Duchess Dias of Hartwards.

Avery: You know I'm new here, I hardly know my roommate's name, let alone every popular kid in school.

Whit: That girl "with the dark hair," as you said, is known around here as Josie, but her full name is Her Highness, Lady Josephine Arrington, daughter of Imperial Princess Natasha and Duke Jamie Arrington of Eastmeadow.

Whit: Where did you say you were from?

Avery: …Del Sol…

Whit: You don't have a monarchy over there, huh? You've got a president?

Avery: Yeah… She's the daughter of a princess?!

Whit: You want me to blow your mind some more?

Whit: That guy with them is my buddy Grant, we're on the soccer team together. But his official title is His Highness Prince Grant Ivanov, son of Imperial Prince Yuri Ivanov, Earl of Thornleigh in Forgotten Hollow.

Avery: Ivanov? As in…

Whit: The school we go to? Yeah. It was founded a million years ago or something by their ancestor, I forget the old guys' name. But the Ivanovs are the Imperial Family, and Grant and Josie are part of that.

Avery: Holy shit…

Whit: The long-haired blonde that Grant has his arms around is, get this, Her Royal Highness, Crown Princess Claude Pelletier of Brindleton Bay.

Avery: You've got to be kidding me, are they all royalty?!

Whit: You're going to a school with the word "royal" in the name, what did you expect? Half the students here can trace their lineage back to some form of royalty or nobility, from all over the world!

Avery: I thought it was just because it was founded by a royal once upon a time, I didn't think I might be sharing a room with a Duke or something!

Whit: To answer your question, no, they're not all royal. See that one blonde with the shorter hair? That's Wren Hathaway. Her father was a lawyer and her mother was a surgeon in San Myshuno.

Avery: What's she doing here? And with them?

Whit: Her mother remarried, and you'll never guess who.

Avery: The King of the World?

Whit: His Imperial Highness, Prince Nickolai Ivanov.

Avery: Ivanov again, huh?

Whit: Her mom became the second Duchess of Arnsey, Wren gained a step-sister in Princess Victoria, and she joined the ranks of the most powerful kids at IRA, because she's technically part of the Ivanov family now.

Avery: I think I have been living under a rock…

Whit: Or in a country that has nothing to do with monarchy nor has any ties to the Ivanov's. You're probably one of the few.

Avery: What do you mean?

Whit: Even countries that aren't part of the empire, are connected to the Ivanov's. They've got an Ivanov on the throne in Oasis Springs, and Newcrest, and soon everyone's sure Selvadorada will be next.

Baylee's Shocking Wedding!

This morning news broke of the famous (or infamous?) ex-Duchess of Arnsey, Lady Baylee Milner, marrying the Earl of Culpepper in a private ceremony in at a courthouse in San Myshuno.

Neither Lady Baylee's daughter, Princess Victoria, nor Earl Culpepper's two grown sons, Viscount Hartphrey and the Right Hon. Declan Harden, were present at the ceremony. The only witnesses were the Earl's two personal assistants, because according to a source close to Lady Baylee, the ex-Duchess wanted the wedding to happen as quickly as possible, and did not want to steal the spotlight from her daughter, who's own wedding is planned for later this month.

Both Lady Baylee are coming into this marriage with children of their own from previous relationships. Of course everyone knows of Princess Victoria, the daughter of Lady Baylee and HIH Prince Nickolai Ivanov, Duke of Arnsey, but the Earl also has children of his own. The first Countess Culpepper unfortunately passed away many years ago, leaving the Earl a widower with two young sons. His boys, Viscount Daniel Harden of Hartphrey, and the Right Hon. Declan Harden, are grown now, and the former even has a wife and son of his own. His sons are reportedly very happy that their father found love again and they "like the new Countess very much."

Many citizens however are critiquing the new Countess Culpepper's hasty marriage, reminding her that a quick wedding is what got her in trouble last time. Others say it looks like she married quickly so she wouldn't have to attend her daughter's wedding single, and watch her Ex-Husband happily enjoying the celebration with his new wife and stepdaughter. We may never know why Countess Baylee is so fond of snappy nuptials, but we can at least congratulate her on her new man.

Duncan & Lizzie's Wedding

Part I- Guests Arrival

Today is the day! Royals and Nobles from all over gathered too morning at the Willow Cathedral in Willow Creek to witness the wedding of Crown Prince Duncan Norton to childhood sweetheart, Princess Elizabeth De La Cru!

Among some of the first to arrive were the Clovervale Family- Duke Soren and Princess Carolin, Liz's Aunt and Uncle, and their children, Lady Brianne and Viscount Beckham Landgraab.

Next was Duke Finnegan and Duchess Tess Bates of Parkshore, Duncan's Aunt and Uncle, as well as Duncan's maternal grandmother, The Dowager Duchess Gabriella, and Duncan's cousin, Marquess Silas Bates.

Marquess Francisco and Prince Ygor Castille of Cedarworth arrived next with their triplets, Princess Remy, Prince Rhys, and Princess Ruby.

And not long after them came Princess Yelena and Duke Jacob Riordan of Grandwoods with twin daughters, Lady Anya and Lady Aurora.

The Imperial family arrived all together (minus Princess Rosalind who is a bridesmaid and will arrive later), lead by the Tsarina Ekaterina and Prince Matthew, and followed by Crown Princess Ophelia, the Dowager Tsarina Nadia, and Prince Benedict Ivanov with his date, Miss Taylor Prescott.

Prince Yuri and Countess Kacie Ivanov of Thornleigh arrived next with daughter Princess Alexandria, and son Prince Grant with his date Crown Princess Claude Pelletier.

Then Princess Natasha and Duke Jamie Arrington of Eastmeadow and their children, Lady Josephine, Marquess Theodore, and Earl Christopher Arrington.

Then it was the blended Arnsey Family- Prince Nickolai and Duchess Megan Ivanov, with Nick's daughter Princess Victoria and her husband Lord Louis Yang, and Megan's daughter, Miss Wren Hathaway.

Princess Adriana and Major Samson Glenn of Fielmont with their twins Lady Charlette and Earl Cosimo.

Princess Francesca and Duchess Olive Colona arrived next, without baby Lady Contessina, who stayed home with nanny.

Then came the rest of the Royal Newcrest Family- King Cesare and Queen Misha Colona, Princess Lucrezia and fiance Mr. Leo Rose, Princess Emilia and her date Mr. Gabriel Micheletti, and finally Crown Prince Dante.

The last of our notably named guests were the Hartwards Family- Princess Maria and Duchess Encarna Dias, and eldest daughter Miss Yue Dias. Joining her was Lord René Yang, who is attending as her younger sister's date, Miss Feng Mian Dias, who is a bridesmaid and will be arriving later.

Nick & Megan's Wedding

Part II- The Ceremony (sort of)

This morning at the San Myshuno Cathedral, members of the Imperial Family gathered for the wedding of HIH Prince Nickolai and Dr. Megan Hathaway. This wedding is the second for the Duke of Arnsey, his first being the shot-gun wedding to Lady Baylee Milner that eventually culminated in a divorce. This will be the first time a member of the Imperial family had remarried after a divorce with a still-living ex-spouse.

No actual pictures were allowed of the wedding ceremony by the press, but the happy couple did share a few pictures taken by their wedding photographer of the wedding party and the Bride...

(Miss Wren Hathaway, the Dr's daughter from a previous relationship, and Lady Josephine Arrington, the Prince's niece, served as flower girls for the ceremony. Prince Nickolai even arranged for Miss Wren to get a tiara of her own to wear from the Imperial Vaults.)

(Finally it was time for the Bride! Doctor Megan Hathaway walked down the aisle in a custom dress by designer Sierra Tang, which features a form-fitting silhouette and wide-neckline, but modest three-quarter length sleeves made of Glimmerbrooke lace. The bride also flaunted her Arnsey jewelry once more, wearing the earrings, necklace and bracelet that match her engagement ring. In fact, she even chose the color yellow as the wedding colors to match the Arnsey Yellow Canary diamonds she wears. Her tiara, however, doesn't come from the vault. Its a brand new piece commissioned by the Prince for his Bride as a wedding gift.)

After the ceremony, the whole bridal party stood on the church steps to celebrate with the crowds of people that had gathered to see the new happy couple.

Dr. Megan will now be styled as Megan Ivanov, new Duchess of Arnsey, replacing her predecessor, who now much return to being known as simply, Lady Baylee Milner. Miss Wren, though she receives no formal titles, was officially adopted by HIH during the wedding ceremony, making her his daughter and second in line to inherit the Duchy of Arnsey, after Princess Victoria.

Arnsey Engaged!

HIH Prince Nickolai, Duke of Arnsey, announced this morning his official engagement to his girlfriend, Dr. Megan Hathaway.

The couple had planned to pose for their pictures in the picturesque back garden of Arnsey Manor, with its lush greenery and views of the bay, but it was remembered that the Duke and the last Duchess of Arnsey posed for their daughter's birth announcement in the back garden, and they didn't want to start their marriage off with a reminder of the past.

No worries of repeats with the Dr's engagement ring however. Dr. Hathaway was seen showing off the stunning canary yellow diamond ring, part of the official Arnsey jewel collection- an honor not even bestowed on the last Duchess! The ring was given to match the Arnsey yellow bracelet the Prince had given Dr. Hathaway as a gift, seen in the previous Easter Service outing. The Dr also wore one of the sets Arnsey earrings to complete the look.

To show their unity and the girls' approval of the match, the new couple also posed for photos with their respective daughters- HH Princess Victoria and Miss Wren Hathaway. Princess Victoria wore the other set of Arnsey earrings, to show her place as the heir.

The girls took a couple of photos of just the two of them as well, showing how much they've bonded since being introduced, despite the Princess' busy university schedule, and to show off the matching pearl jewelry gifted to them from the Prince. HIH wanted them to have something to prove how much he cared for them both, and how excited he was for them to be sisters.

Our hearty congratulations to the Duke and future Duchess of Arnsey, but it does leave the question- what does the current Duchess think? Her Grace, Baylee Ivanov, Duchess of Arnsey has kept her title and her ex-husband's name as is her right until either herself or the Prince marries again. But now that marriage is on the horizon for Nickolai, was does this mean for Baylee? And how does Victoria feel being caught in the middle of it all?

Catching Up With The Ivanovs

Week 2

May 3rd- Alto Expecting

This afternoon, Simon and Viola Milner, Earl and Countess of Alto, announced that they are expecting their first child! The Countess also used the post to announce that she will finally be taking a break from her law firm in order to rest during the pregnancy, something she hasn't done since long before she married the Earl.

May 4th- Ophelia's Birthday Bash- And New Beau!?

HIH Crown Princess Ophelia shocked the Empire when she showed up to her own birthday party in a scandalously shear corset-top pink party dress and... Prince Jonas?! The last we saw of our Crown Princess she was attending Prince Jonas' birthday party in Britechester, noticeably without long-time boyfriend Luke Marin. Something must've happened at that party, because tonight HIH was very romantic with the Windenburg Prince. They're incredibly cute and would be a couple to root for, if everyone wasn't so confused as to what happened with Mr. Marin! The young couple was almost inseparable nearly a month ago- even surviving all the drama Prince Jonas caused- and now not to long after, the Crown Princess is all cozy with the very man who caused that drama? People are wondering- what is the story! Fans of Luke and Ophelia (the overwhelming favorite to win the Princess' heart) are confused and heartbroken, so we can only imagine how Luke feels himself!

May 5th- Ophelia and Friends Graduate University!

This morning, the universities of Britechester and Foxbury held their graduation ceremonies, and there were plenty of familiar faces in those caps and gowns.

Mrs. Marin remains close friends with Tsarina Ekaterina and Prince Matthew, from their Britechester days, and despite all the drama between their children, has kept up her relationship with them. The widowed mother even sat with the Tsarina and Prince Matthew at the ceremony, and was invited back to the Imperial Palace afterward for tea- an offer she accepted, but her son did not. Later that afternoon was the Foxbury Institute graduation ceremony.

May 6th- Sulani's Second!

Chief Lilah Mahoe, Prince Stefano Colona, and Princess Malie Mahoe, posed as a family in the Sulani Heart Gardens to announce the expectation of their second baby! Many are hoping for a boy, but regardless of gender, Princess Malie will retain get position as heir to the Chiefdom, because the Sulani Independent Islands follow an absolute primogeniture, meaning the first-born of the Chief is heir to the title, regardless of gender. This does mean, however, that Prince Stefano moves even further down the line of succession, as this second baby will also outrank him and carry the royal name of Mahoe.

May 7th- Benny Comes Home!

Paparazzi spotted a lot of security outside the Imperial Hearts Hospital, and as there's only one high-profile patient we know, they knew it had to do with Prince Benedict. They didn't have to wait long either, as they watched HIH and his parents be escorted from the hospital and ushered into a car with dark tinted windows. The young Prince looked paler and more thin than usual, dressed in a casual pair of sweatpants and sandals, with his doting parents following close behind, Prince Matthew even carrying a duffel for his son back to the car. We still don't know what it was that had our youngest imperial in the hospital for so long, but we can only hope that now that he's home, he's on the road to recovery! We missed you Benny!
