Debutante Ball Arrives!

The night has come, and the debutante ball has arrived. The evening began with the young Ladies being presented by their parents, and then escorted to the throne by the gentlemen.

Her Imperial Highness, Princess Ophelia Nadia Ivanov, daughter of HIH Prince Matthew Norton and HIM Tsarina Ekaterina Ivanov, was presented by her father and escorted by HRH Prince Jonas Lofton of Windenburg.

Her Imperial Highness, Princess Rosalind Sophia Ivanov, daughter of HIH Prince Matthew Norton and HIM Tsarina Ekaterina Ivanov, was presented by her father and escorted by HRH Prince Ramses Montero of Selvadorada.

Her Royal Highness, Princess Elizabeth Katherine De La Cru, daughter of TRM King Ivan and Queen Anastasia De La Cru, was presented by her father and escorted by HRH Crown Prince Duncan Norton of Willow Creek.

Her Ladyship, Lady Victoria Simone Ivanov, daughter of TIH Prince Nickolai and Baylee Ivanov, Duke and Duchess of Arnsey, was presented by her father and escorted by HRH Prince Hunter Norton of Willow Creek.

The Honourable Miss Yue Anabelle Dias, daughter of TIH Princess Maria and Encarna Dias, Duchesses of Hartwards, was presented by her mother, Princess Maria, and escorted by Master Antonio Landgraab of Oasis Springs.

The Honourable Miss Feng Mian Inga Dias, daughter of TIH Princess Maria and Encarna Dias, Duchesses of Hartwards, was presented by her mother, Duchess Encarna, and escorted by Lord Giovanni Castellano of Windenburg.

Her Ladyship, Lady Clementine Marie Hunphrey, daughter of Eduard and Charlotte Humphrey, Earl and Countess of Sawborne, was presented by her father, and escorted by Lord Lucian Castellano of Windenburg.

The young Ladies were presented before TIM Tsarina Ekaterina and the Dowager Tsarina Nadia (with a seat saved for HIH Prince Matthew after he presented his daughters). Reigning monarchs in attendance were also given seats to the side of the ballroom for the ceremony: HM Queen Anaid and HRH Prince Rauli Montero of Selvadorada, TM Queen Agatha and King Victor Lofton of Windenburg, HM Queen Anastasia De La Cru of Oasis Springs (with a seat saved for HM King Ivan after he presents his daughter), TM Queen Claire and King Caleb Norton of Willow Creek, TM Queen Genevieve and King Jacques Pelletier of Brindleton Bay, and TM Queen Misha and King Cesare Colona of Newcrest.

The rest of the attendees stood for the ceremony: Baylee Ivanov, Duchess of Arnsey, Albert Strauss and Crown Princess Martha Lofton-Strauss, Duke and Duchess of Windslar, Charlotte Humphrey, Countess of Sawborne, Lord Malcolm and Lady Lana Landgraab, and Hadrian and Livia Castellano, Marquess and Marchioness of Lykke.

Once the presentations were finished, a small supper of refreshments were served before the ball was opened with Crown Princess Ophelia and Prince Jonas.

Yue Dias Announces College

The Honorable Miss Yue Dias, eldest daughter to Princess Maria and Encarna Dias, Duchesses of Hartwards, announced today which college she'll be attending, come the fall.

"I have been accepted to Foxbury Institute for a distinguished degree in Video Game Programming and Design. Working with computers and designing video games has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I'm so grateful and honored for the opportunity to continue to do that on a collegiate level."

"I'd like to first thank my mothers, who have encouraged me and supported me my entire life. They gave my sister and I a home, and in the years since have filled it with love and happiness. Secondly, I'd like to thank my late grandpa, HIM Tsar Alexei, for personally funding mine, and my sister's, educational pursuits for the rest of his life, and to Aunt Kat [HIM Tsarina Ekaterina] for continuing to do so after he passed. I was born into a world with no family but Feng Mian, until our mothers found us, and brought us into the biggest, kindest, must welcoming family we could have ever hoped for. Now we have two mothers, endless aunts and uncles and cousins, and an entire empire full of people cheering us on and willing us to succeed. I'm excited for this next journey of mine, knowing my family will have my back the whole way."

Tsarina's Birthday BBQ

Part I

This weekend Her Imperial Majesty celebrated her birthday with a big family barbeque at the Imperial Family's summer castle on the bay in Brindleton.

There was no grand ball or ceremonial dinner, and no press allowed of any kind. Her Majesty was kind enough, however, to share these photos taken at the event of all the guests, by the family's beloved Nanny Anya.

Prince Nickolai (Nicky), Duke of Arnsey, tickles daughter, Lady Victoria (Cora), on picnic blanket while his wife, Lady Baylee, Duchess of Arnsey, laughs with his twin sister, Princess Natasha (Nat) and her boyfriend, Mr. Jamie Arrington.

Princess Francesca (Franny) plays with little brother, Prince Dante, while showcasing new blonde hair (due to an unfortunate bleaching accident at her boarding school 😬)

Crown Prince Cesare relaxes by the pool with daughter, Princess Adriana (Addy), while two of his other children play behind him.

Princess Yelena and her new boyfriend, Mr. Jacob (Jake) Riordan, take a loving stroll by the poolside.

His Imperial Highness, Tsar Alexei, sits and chats with his wife and birthday girl, Tsarina Nadia, and daughter, Princess Misha, while they wait for the food to be cooked.

Dias Family Goes Camping

After the fun and glamorous events of the Brindleton State Dinner, the Princess and Duchess of Hartwards, and their daughters, took a relaxing trip out to the Granite Falls camp ground in the Glimmer Mountains.

Citizens in a nearby campsite snapped these photos of the little family, enjoying their time playing horseshoes, looking incredibly casual in their overalls and flannels.

They roasted marshmallows and, not captured on camera, went hiking and enjoyed swimming in the Granite River.

We also got to see Miss Yue, the Duchess' eldest daughter, as she's recently grown into a lovely young teenager.

The last thing Princess Maria and Lady Encarna did before leaving was meet with National Park Ranger, Donna Cole, and donate a large sum to the Parks Service for the preservation and upkeep of the Empire's National Parks, like Granite Falls.
