Hello, new poison type, who dis?
Tumblr media
So, I've been hyperfixating on SwSh again, and in doing so I'm finding what kind of trainer/gym leader I would be in Galar.
I'm still working on stuff lore-wise, but in doing so I've made my own fan eeveelution specifically for my trainer/gym-sona. I can see myself being the new Poison Type leader in Galar, as Klara doesn't want to take up the role due to the mass amount of research they want to invest in. Thanks to that research she disagrees with so much, a new eeveelution would be produced in the Poison Gym. In this SwSh AU, it would take place in what would be the third installment for Galar, Pokemon: Arrow. Get it? Sword, Shield, Arrow... going with the weapon theme aha //brick'd. This new eeveelution would be put in the #205 pokedex position, bumping Applin to #206 (basically applin and onward would be bumped up by one number).
"Pokedex Entry #205: Toxiceon: Upon extensive research, a select few in the Galar Region have found that an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. Eevee will only evolve into a Poison/Water type if they regularly swam in lakes, ponds, and seashores that expose them to the venomous toxins of Poison-type Pokemon; as such, these Eeveelutions can be found in wet or swampy areas in which these noxious Pokemon gather. Despite their unnerving appearance, Toxiceon do not seek out battles and will attempt to warn off potential opponents by shooting a burning toxin contained in the spikes on their three tails as a warning shot beforehand. Eeveelutions of this dual-typing are also capable to breathing underwater, preferring to seek out warmer, mucky bodies of water to make their dens; as such, they mark these dens as their territory by secreting a skin irritant from the diamond-shaped pustules around their neck during the building process to ensure any unwanted intruders keep away. Although Toxiceon have a timid and defensive disposition, but can become great partners with a little effort and compassion."

Named: ? (Fire/Normal)
On rare occasion, an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. If a wild Eevee lives among a group of Fire and Normal-type Pokémon with whom they feel a strong desire to protect, they may evolve into a Fire/Normal-type. Known for their courage and protective instincts, these Eeveelutions live in pride-like groups of Pokémon and act as fearless leaders and guardians. Their fiery tail burns brighter when they sense danger, and their intimidating roar serves as a fierce warning to any opponent who approaches their group. These Pokémon rest during the warmest hours of the day, basking in the sun to recharge their fire energy and hunting during dawn and dusk. The flame on their tail goes out while they sleep, and can be purposefully extinguished and relit while stalking prey. Trainers looking to battle with this Eeveelution must earn their respect through kindness and perseverance; however, once bonded, their unwavering loyalty make them a steadfast ally for life. Trainers looking to evolve their Eevee into this Eeveelution must raise their Eevee alongside only Normal and Fire-type Pokémon; other stimulus, even exposure to a Fire Stone, will likely result in another evolution path.

Note
I know this obvious from the username, but Glaceon for the Pokémon requests?
Tumblr media
Glaceon prefers colder environments. Its broad tail and ears help release excess heat from its body and keep it cool, and it has short fur for a similar function.
Its ability to freeze its fur into spikes as a defensive tactic is well known. A less extreme version of the same freezing technique can be used to lightly frost its fur, making it sparkle in the light--a popular technique for contests.
[send me a pokémon and i'll draw it semi-realistically and add my headcanons]

Got the idea yesterday to doodle my own variant of a Pokémon. Basically imagined that if Plague Doctors were trainers in Pokémon, they'd probably have Spritzee on their team because of that beak/nose. (Always made me think of the masks.) But then I thought "Well....MAYBE...but maybe the pink colors kinda clash with the blacks and/or greens that most plague doctors wear.
Then got the idea of:
What if a plague struck a town/city that affected mostly Pokémon? Probably killed enough that a medical team had to be sent in to treat or care for victims, all the while moving people and healthy Pokémon out to prevent the disease from spreading. Over the course of time, some Pokémon began to change form as they developed an immunity. The medical team, mostly trainers who are super into plaguecore, took notice and began researching and protecting them. As a result, only authorized personnel are allowed in. As rumors spread, a desire to own one of these unique variants rose in collector extremists.
And there you have the lore cake. Enjoy. This is a project that will DEFINITELY be sitting on the back burner on low heat for an indefinite amount of time. I have "Plague Trainer" designs in mind, along with a leader, and will EVENTUALLY put it on paper.
Close-ups!
Tumblr media
They may look sad, but they're actually quite content. The Plague Trainers take extra good care of their unique Spritzees.
Tumblr media
I imagine that instead of Sweet Scent, Plague Spritzees have Sour Scent. Was thinking maybe it lowers the target's accuracy instead of evasion.

This unnamed Eeveelution was inspired largely by earthworms.
Named: ? (Bug/Ground)
#??? - On rare occasion, an Eevee can be affected by more than one environmental factor, and reacts to grow into a new, rare evolution. Eevee who spend much of their time underground, searching for bugs and earth to eat, may evolve into this Bug/Ground-type. Excellent diggers and burrowers, these Eeveelutions travel where ever soil is moist and laden in minerals. When they move on to a new area, they leave behind enriched soil and a labrinth of tunnels that other Pokemon like to inhabit. These Eeveelutions spend the majority of their time underground, resulting in poor eyesight; however, their highly sensitive skin detects even the slightest ground vibrations, enabling them to navigate without issue. To stay healthy, they must keep their skin's thin film moist; if it dries out, they become unwell and must burrow back into the earth. Their diet consists mostly of soil and decayed vegetation; they will store nutrients and minerals in the rubbery sections of their tail and body, which they can draw upon in times of need. Though these easygoing Pokémon make excellent companions, they are hard to find due to their underground lifestyle. Trainers who aim to evolve their Eevee into this Bug/Ground-type must encourage their Eevee to dig and consume mineral-rich soil.
