an introduction

My name is Ray. I am currently a university student (not studying battle training, rather communications with a minor in pokemon studies) living in the northwest Unova region. I am currently working part time at a pokemon daycare to pay for school (you may see photos of my charges on this blog).

I typically take photos with a Sony Rotom-Shot 5MP (DSC-P92), however I will on occasion take a photo with my mobile phone (such occasions will be marked in the tags).

My partner pokemon (who will be frequent subjects of photographical study) are a Jolteon (named Bee) and an Eevee (named Maple). I have no plans to evolve Maple at this time.

My goal is to show off the natural beauty of my region. I feel that people get so focused on the grander parts of the world (looking at you, legendary-seekers) that they completely ignore the little things. You can just step outside and find an Emolga or a Foongus or a Joltik and that is beautiful to me
