Here's a character idea I've had kicking around my head for a while but never got a design for until now. I think the association between murder mysteries and a detective that's undead has fun potential, and Mario's Dry Bones offer a good way to do that.

so this is my friend @gegibisi's fault but we had a silly discussion and they brought up the idea of an HR department for Bowser and one thing led to another... and now i have a mario oc i-

their name is crane (like cranium)! they're a dry bones, and the head of Bowser's HR department, and by the head i mean the only member. It's his job to take complaints from all of Bowser's terrified and disgruntled employees and present them to the Big Man himself in the hopes of change. It's good that they come back to life quickly as a dry bones, because some of the complaints don't go over so well! They're used to it at this point, anyway - it's more of an annoyance than anything, and it won't stop him from doing his job. They're so persistent about making sure the HR complaints are recognized that they've done time in the dungeon for it before!

He's also Bowser's only actual counselor, and helps troops process all the things that come with war. He studied psychology... somewhere, a very long time ago before he was ever a dry bones. They're a great listener.

They almost always look exhausted and their manner of speech and whole affect is very,, very flat heheh

Did you people miss me? I took a drawing break but managed to power through this big drawing yesterday! I really wanted to draw all the Partners together with the man himself. With how many pictures for it exist now(and all the positive attention received tysm!) I decided to give my Paper Mario "setting" a name, what with a potential plot taking shape in my weird little head. Hopefully I can make even more content for it along with my other ideas. Making OCs is fun! Why'd I not do it for so long?

This is Flint! He used to be a blue shell in Bowsers army but got caught up in an explosive accident. He retired to the mushroom kingdom after a peace treaty was put in place and lives his days alone painting. Art is his escape,, he even painted his shell blue again after the accident bcus he hated the dull grey. He’s very lonely since the toads are quite frightened of him but he’s slowly recovering❤️
