The anime definitely doesn't do the manga justice. It really would've looked gorgeous in 2D, and be even more accurate to the style of the manga (a ghibli type of style).

And on top of that, with it being a Netflix anime we're pretty much automatically denied a second season.

oh man, they completly ruined drifting dragons in the adaptation, they used that butt ugly half assed 3D animation where they just press a button to make the shaders 2D.

i have been skeptick of that technique in the past and overall i still dont like it, i can recognize it can be done well if enough effort is put into it as shown by spiderverse and arcane but this show demonstrates just how bad it looks when its done lazily
